According to La Stampa and La Repubblica newspapers, via Football Italia, the Mussara company – owned by the Juventus star and run by his brother – ordered special edition jerseys to be manufactured.
The reports add that Pegaso, a Turin company, were commissioned with the project.
They were to be paid £450,000 for the production of the shirts which were completed with the CR7Museu logo – Ronaldo’s museum.
It is then alleged that Mussara denied ever giving Pegaso permission to go ahead and begin production of the fake replica jerseys.

They are thought to be exact copies of Adidas’ designs.
The German brand have made Juventus’ kits since 2015 and are under a £46million-a-year contract with the Serie A giants until 2027.
The report adds Mussara demanded Pegaso hand over the shirts for £3.60 each in order for them to be destroyed.
However, Pegaso believe they spotted the very same products on sale at the Cristiano Ronaldo Museum in Madeira for £36 each.

Manager Andrea Pirlo only pockets £1.6million-per-year after taking charge of the club

As a result, Pegaso are understood to be suing Mussara with Hugo Dinarte Aveiro among those being looked into for any possible wrongdoing.
Torino Corriere also report that there is a legal dispute between Mussara and Juventus over the use of legal rights to Ronaldo’s trademark.

Cristiano Ronaldo naps five times a day and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s snoozes for four… how much sports stars sleep

BEING one of the most well known sporting icons on the planet is tiring work.
But rather than sleep all night, Cristiano Ronaldo instead takes FIVE naps a day while Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson snoozes for just four hours to keep himself going.

    Cristiano Ronaldo takes FIVE naps-a-day

Earlier this month, it emerged Juventus superstar Ronaldo, 35, grabs 40 winks five times each day and sleeps in the foetal position.
And here SunSport can reveal the different sleep patterns of several other sporting icons from across the globe and how many hours of ‘Zzz’ time they get, according to Online Mattress Review.

The WWE icon turned movie star hits the sack for just four hours-a-night.
At 48, Hawaiian born Johnson clocks off between midnight and is up and about again at 4am.

Presumably to work out at least 25 times a day to maintain his impressive physique.
    Muhammad Ali – 6.5 hours

Muhammad Ali was a religious man and slept for 6.5 hours after dinner and prayers

The greatest boxer of all time put many opponents to sleep in his time and would wind down between 10pm and 4:30am.
As a devout Muslim, much of his time would be split between prayer and training.
And his evening routine would include a walk after dinner, a quick wash, prayers and short stint in front of the TV before he dozed off.

    Serena Williams – 7 hours

Serena Williams clocks up a solid seven hours of sleep after socialising and work
You do not need hawk eye to tell when Serena is out for the count but we can neither confirm or deny whether her snoring makes a racket.
The tennis sensation takes a solid seven hour sleep between midnight and 7am each day after a post-dinner routine of socialising and work.
The 38-year-old former world number one is also a mum of a young daughter so her slumbers are no doubt interrupted by the littl’un every now and then.

    Cristiano Ronaldo – 7.5 hours

Ronaldo sleeps in the fetal position to stay in top shape aged 35

Ronaldo has perhaps the oddest routine of all the big stars.
Rather than one lump of rest at the end of each day like most of us, Ronnie reportedly prefers to take short naps of an hour-and-a-half each time throughout the day.
After dinner, he relaxes with his friends before a swim at 10pm.
He then takes one of his signature naps until midnight and relaxes until another short burst of sleep from around 3am before waking up for the day.
    Ronda Rousey – 8 hours

MMA star Rousey does not mess around when it comes to getting the right amount of rest

MMA and WWE star Rousey’s routine seems pretty standard.
Eight hours between midnight and 8am.
    Nice and simple.
    Tiger Woods – 8.5 hours

Tiger Woods – perhaps the greatest golfer in history – spends more than a third of his day asleep

Woods is generally considered the best golfer of all time.
And to maintain such high levels, the superstar spends eight and a half hours dreaming of sinking putts and splitting fairways.
He snoozes from 10pm to 6:30am – proving the early birdie really does catch the worm.
    Tom Brady – 9 hours

Tom Brady is widely considered the best quarter-back ever to play American Football and he does not compromise when it comes to rest

Like Woods, Brady is considered the greatest ever in his field.
The former New England Patriots quarter-back is revered in across the world for his sustained and unrivalled talent.
And the 42-year-old – who is still playing for the Tampa Bay Bucacaneers – makes sure he touches down to sleep for nine hours each day between 8:30pm and 5:30am.

    Stephen Curry – 9 hours

NBA star Stephen Curry is one of the longest sleepers on the list with a solid nine hours

Basketball star Stephen Curry is another record breaker who is set to go down in the NBA history books.
The Golden State Warriors point guard is another who does not take rest lightly – opting to hit the hay for nine hours between 11pm and 8am every day.

Davinson Sanchez lined up by AC Milan for transfer bid after falling down Tottenham pecking order

DAVINSON SANCHEZ is being tracked by AC Milan after falling out of favour with Jose Mourinho at Tottenham.
Sanchez has failed to make the squad for four of the last five Premier League games by Mourinho and Joe Rodon is now ahead of him in the pecking order.

That has alerted Milan to the potential that Spurs would be open to offers for the 24-year-old, who has failed to kick on having shown promise as a teenager.
The Italian giants are looking for a new centre-back to help strengthen their bid to win the Serie A title this season and finally break the stranglehold of Juventus
Sanchez is one of their options, and Mourinho may be open to trading in the Columbian if it helps provide him funds to help his own attempts to lead Spurs to the title this season.
Tottenham paid a then-club record £42million to sign Sanchez from Ajax in 2017.

And though he impressed initially, he has struggled to gain the confidence of Mourinho.
It would take similar money for Milan to be able to convince Tottenham to sell.

But with Spurs still harbouring interest in Inter’s Slovan ace Milan Skriniar, a January deal may be ideal for Mourinho and chairman Daniel Levy.
Skriniar, 25, has also been linked to both Manchester United and City.

And Tottenham were reportedly hovering in August when Jan Vertonghen joined Benfica on a free transfer.

Former Man Utd target Allegri reveals dream to manage Premier League club having been out of work since leaving Juventus

A PREMIER LEAGUE switch is on Massimiliano Allegri’s mind after over a year out of the game.
Countless clubs have been linked with the Italian, 53, since he called time on a highly-successful spell with Juventus.

A return to management is next on the agenda for Allegri, who believes England or Italy are the most likely destinations for his next move.
He told The Times: “I would like to experience the Premier League.
“In Italy, I was in Milan four years. Five years in Juventus.
“Now I expect [to work again] in Italy, but it is difficult, or in England.”

Allegri has been one of the most speculated-about coaches in the game since his departure.
An incomplete list of the clubs linked to the Italian includes Manchester United, Tottenham, Newcastle, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United are certainly one of the most discussed clubs when it comes to changing manager, such is the pressure on the Norwegian.
Since Sir Alex Ferguson’s exit from Old Trafford, the club have struggled to consistently win trophies.

But Allegri is not surprised by how tough the Red Devils are finding it, with Arsenal also still finding their way post-Arsene Wenger.
The six-time Serie A winner insisted that Pep Guardiola’s job at a ‘virgin’ club such as Manchester City makes it easier to mould the side to the manager’s identity.
He added: “It’s difficult to change the history of the club.
“For example, Manchester United played for 50 years the same style. When [Louis] Van Gaal arrived, he had a different mentality.
“Van Gaal wanted to play with possession. But Manchester United are ‘get in the box, attack, attack, cross, cross’.
“Arsenal are different to United. In Italy, the same, Juventus different to Milan.”

Guardiola can work with a ‘virgin’ club and has the possibility to work his own way.
    Massimiliano Allegri

He added: “Manchester City don’t have a big history like United, so Guardiola can work with a ‘virgin’ club and has the possibility to work his own way.
“For me, English football is improving now because there are a lot of foreign trainers.
“There are more tactics compared to ten years ago. England now is more sophisticated, and more tactical, but is also respecting the tradition of English football.
“It’s a good balance of the spirit of English football and the new quality and new tactical approach of the new coaches.”

Ex-Chelsea chief Conte plotting double transfer raid on old club with New Year moves for Olivier Giroud and N’Golo Kante

FORMER Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants to reunite with N’Golo Kante and Olivier Giroud at Inter Milan, according to reports.
The Italian was at the helm when both were brought to Stamford Bridge.

The Italian also brought Olivier Giroud to the clubCredit: REUTERS

Conte, 51, won the Premier League title with Kante in the middle of his midfield – while he signed Giroud just months before his exit.
In his bid to win another Serie A title, however, he could look to pounce once again for BOTH when the window reopens in January.
According to Tuttosport, Conte will reprise his previous interest in the French duo, in order to try and cut the five-point gap to AC Milan at the top of Serie A.
Giroud, 34, has once again fallen into a bit-part role at Chelsea this season, having forced his way into the starting XI towards the end of last term.

The former Arsenal man stole the show in mid-week, however, smashing four goals past Sevilla to remind clubs around the continent of his ability.
His contract expires at the end of the season, as his previous deal did last season.
And he is under pressure from national team boss Didier Deschamps to be playing regular football, ahead of the delayed Euro 2020.
Giroud recently netted his 44th France goal, putting him just seven strikes behind Thierry Henry’s total for Les Bleus.

But his place may still be in jeopardy.
As for Kante, the 29-year-old still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract.
And Chelsea are extremely reluctant to sell the midfielder, who remains a pivotal cog in their machine as they chase a Premier League title under Frank Lampard.
So it would take a huge bid to prise him from their grasp.

Bologna boss Mihajlovic vows to catch SPY in team and ‘stick him up against wall’ after new formation leaked to press

So he decided to put on a behind-closed-doors session for the players, introducing them to a system that he had no intention of using.
And when details of the session subsequently made their way into the Italian press, he furiously declared that he will find the culprit, before ‘sticking him to the wall’.
Mihajlovic, 51, said: “I only tried out a new formation to find out who the f*** is talking to journalists.
“I did it on purpose because no one was expecting it, so now I’m investigating.

“I swear, if I find who’s been speaking with journalist I’m sticking him to the wall.
“I’ll make sure he doesn’t play again.
“I’m not actually thinking of changing the tactical set-up, I only did it because we were alone, and today everything’s come out in the papers.
“So there’s someone on the inside who talking, and I assure that I’ll find him.

“And when I find him, things will get ugly.”
Bologna, who have Scottish full-back Aaron Hickey among their ranks, face Inter Milan this evening at San Siro.
And it certainly sounds as if Mihajlovic is planning on sticking with his trusty 4-2-3-1 formation.

And no club was more touched than Napoli, for whom he inspired to win two Serie A titles, a Uefa Cup and Coppa Italia during a stunning seven-year spell.
In revealing his plans to try and make the change last week, club president Aurelio De Laurentiis admitted that he’s been trying to do so for the last 17 years.
He told Sky Italia: “I’ve been in talks with local authorities for the past 17 years, I have always asked to buy the stadium and rename it ‘Diego Armando Maradona’.
“If then, for tradition, we will need to call it both ‘San Paolo’ and ‘Maradona’ so be it.

“It won’t change much, but it’s only right that Maradona has this recognition.
“Even if we were to build a whole new stadium, I would name it like that.”
In total, Maradona played 259 times for the Italian club, scoring a then-record 115 times, and was named captain.
Thousands of devastated fans took to the streets of Naples on the evening of his passing, to pay respects to their hero.

The next day, Napoli paid their own tribute, with all 11 players wearing ‘Maradona 10’ on the back of their jerseys.
And Lorenzo Insigne placed flowers outside the ground before the match.
Now at least, the famous old ground will wear the name of the greatest player to ever grace it.
