Juventus were forced to delay their journey to Milan after Juan Cuadrado and Alex Sandro tested positive.
The club are now awaiting further results amid fears of an outbreak within Pirlo’s squad.

But the rest of the squad have provided negative results ahead of the Serie A showdown.

Roberto Testi, medical chief at the ASL in Turin, insisted authorities could have to step in to stop the match going ahead.
As cited by Gazzetta dello Sport, he said: “The company immediately warned of the two [positive tests], but at the moment, since all the others are negative, we cannot speak of an outbreak.
“If there were new cases and an uncontrolled outbreak was confirmed in the team, then the ASL, for the safety of the players themselves, would be forced to intervene by blocking the away match.”

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for Covid-19 in October while on international duty.

Team-mates Paulo Dybala and Weston McKennie have also had the virus and since recovered.
Tonight’s highly-anticipated meeting between Milan and Juventus has been deemed a title decider.
Stefano Pioli’s Milan side are sitting at the top of the pile with 11 wins from 15 matches.
Meanwhile, Juventus are slumped in fifth place with ten points less than the league leaders.
Matteo Marnati, a councillor in Turin, has insisted the game WILL go ahead.
He said: “Milan-Juventus will be played.
“I have just heard the general manager of the ASL of Turin and he replied that it was not no decision has been made.
“Our interest is that the sports authorities manage the issue.

“There is no emergency that justifies an intervention by the ASL of Turin.

“I believe that Testi has been misunderstood.”

Man Utd ace Diogo Dalot reveals ‘bittersweet’ AC Milan loan transfer and heartache over Old Trafford injury hell

DIOGO DALOT has stated his loan switch to AC Milan from Manchester United was a ‘bittersweet feeling’ as he commented on his injury troubles at Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old – who joined the Red Devils in 2018 for £19million from Porto – was limited to just 20 Premier League appearances for the club.

Injuries to his meniscus, hip and groin saw him miss over 30 matches, and he then struggled for form on his return to the side.
And he fell down the pecking order under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last season following the arrival of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and the emergence of academy graduate Brandon Williams.
However the Portugal international has revealed he does not regret making the move to the Theatre of Dreams.
Speaking to Record, he said: “Of course, the feeling is a little deeper, more because I didn’t have the time I liked physically.

“I spent great moments at United. I played very important games for me and the team.
“I left with a bit of a bittersweet feeling for not being physically available for all those games I lost due to injury.
“But it is what it is. I wouldn’t change anything because what I learned was very important for my future and how I am now.
“I don’t regret it or look back with disappointment.”

Dalot has featured 11 times in all competitions for Milan this term – starting in all six of the club’s Europa League group stage matches.
His performances have earned him rave reviews in Italy, leading to speculation the Rossoneri are planning to sign him permanently.
However he has stated he isn’t thinking about his long-term future as he insisted he is only thinking about helping Milan win their first Scudetto title since 2011.
He said: “It is always positive to see the feedback from Milan fans and the affection that United fans have for me. It’s fantastic to feel that.
“But my focus is solely and exclusively on the present. ‘The gift is Milan and helping the club to fulfil its goals and mine.
“It wouldn’t be professional to be otherwise.”

Pele writes ‘Leading Goal Scorer of All Time’ in Instagram bio amid Cristiano Ronaldo goals row

PELE has written ‘Leading Goal Scorer of All Time (1,283)’ into his Instagram bio amid a row over his tally.
The Brazilian is desperately trying to cling onto top spot in the ‘highest goalscorer of all time’ list after Cristiano Ronaldo overtook him on the official count on Sunday.

Pele has changed his Instagram bio after Cristiano Ronaldo overtook him on official goals

Ronnie bagged his 757th and 758th goals in a 4-1 home win against Udinese.
The brace puts him one above all-time legend Pele whose total sits at 757 strikes.
However, the 80-year-old has always claimed he scored far more than that and has doubled down on his claim after global news outlets reported he had been surpassed by CR7.
The former striker has edited his Instagram bio to include: “Leading Goal Scorer of All Time (1,283).”

It is widely accepted hundreds of those goals came during tour or friendly matches but Pele will not let it go.
His official goals came during his stellar career between 1956 and 1977 for Santos, New York Cosmos and Brazil.
But Ronaldo, 35, is now ahead of him and doesn’t look like stopping soon.
His first against Udinese came when he collected the ball on the left, drove into the box and unleashed a drive into the far corner, giving the goalkeeper no chance.

He added his second – and Juve’s third – with a left-footed finish when through one on one.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner also got the assist for Federico Chiesa with a sublime pass to make it 2-0 at the Allianz Stadium before Paulo Dybala wrapped up the scoring.
Lionel Messi is also on track to beat Pele with his 715 goals.
He has 71 goals for Argentina and 644 for Barcelona and is only 33 with plenty of time left in his career.
Last month, he topped Pele’s record of 643 goals for a single club with a strike against Real Valladolid.

Rodriquez travelled to Dubai as Ronaldo was honoured at the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards

Rodriquez and Ronaldo then shared their low-key New Year celebrations

Rodriquez travelled to Dubai as Ronaldo was honoured at the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards.
The Juventus forward won Player of The Century, pipping long-time rival Lionel Messi to the award.
Rodriquez and her man then shared their low-key New Year celebrations, as they welcomed 2021 with their four children and dozens of gold balloons.
Despite the get together, it was back to work for Ronaldo as he starred in Juve’s 4-1 win over Udinese.

The forward scored twice and even revealed his new celebration dedicated to Rodriquez.
Ronaldo is chasing a third consecutive Serie A title in Italy.
But it is his dream of winning the World Cup in 2022 – when he will be 37 – which is motivating him to perform at the best of his abilities.
Ronaldo, 35, said in Dubai: “We won 2016 and now we want to win the World Cup.

“It’s possible, yes, it’s possible. Everything is possible. But you have to be realistic as well.
“As I told you many, many times, my dream is to win something for Portugal national team and I won two titles, which is making me feel happy.
“I win [with] every club that I played with, but World Cup… it’s a dream. It’s a dream.”

Ex-Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey thrives in new ‘false-9’ role under Pirlo at Juventus after setting up Cristiano Ronaldo

AARON RAMSEY is finally finding his place in the Juventus team after starring in a false-9 style role.
It has been far from plain sailing for the Welshman since his 2019 move from Arsenal.

A slow first year in Turin saw Ramsey struggle with niggling injuries and inconsistent form.
Scoring in each of the two Serie A games immediately before the pandemic struck, he only started two more matches after the break as Juve stuttered to the Scudetto.
Andrea Pirlo’s arrival appeared to be doing little to change his fortunes.
With starts in the first two games of the season, Ramsey picked up an assist before another muscle injury hit.

The new coach was unable to regularly pick the midfielder until December.
A dominant display in the 3-0 Champions League win at Barcelona showed the player, who turned 30 on Boxing Day, still had what it takes.
Another assist in the 4-0 drubbing of Parma was followed by an early substitution in the defeat to Fiorentina, thanks to Juan Cuadrado’s red card demanding a 19th-minute reshuffle.
There were no such issues when Ramsey was given another go in the starting XI for Sunday’s match with Udinese.

    — Premier Sports 📺 (@PremierSportsTV) January 3, 2021

In the first-half, he bustled opponent Rodrigo De Paul out of possession and teed up Cristiano Ronaldo’s opener.
And Ramsey would have made it three in the eventual 4-1 win, but for VAR picking up an accidental handball in his rebound finish.
Italian daily Tuttosport likened the ex-Arsenal man’s position to that of a false-9, opening up space for Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala to run into.
Bianconeri boss Pirlo was reserved in his praise for Ramsey after the game, citing the player’s need to stay fit having hit form.

He said: “When he’s in good shape, Aaron is a very important player.
“He’s intelligent, he knows which positions to find on the pitch.
“Unfortunately, he had so many problems in recent years that he needs a lot of rest between games.”
