Man Utd transfer boost with Paulo Dybala ‘set to be SOLD by Juventus if he does not accept new deal by end of season’

JUVENTUS will reportedly sell Manchester United target Paulo Dybala this summer if he does not agree a new contract.
The Mail claims Turin chiefs will cash in on the Argentine forward, 27, if he refuses to extend his current deal past its 2022 expiry date.

Dybala, who has scored just once this season, has found himself unable to command a regular starting role under new boss Andrea Pirlo.
And after catching coronavirus earlier this year, reports suggest Dybala could be on his way out.
Manchester United have been linked with a stunning swap deal including Paul Pogba.
And Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be keen after making Mauricio Pochettino their new boss.

Juventus’ fierce rivals Napoli have even been tipped to make an audacious approach for Dybala.
But the Turin giants are currently preparing a new contract offer for their talisman, who is in his sixth season with the club after joining for £36million from Palermo in 2015.
However, should Dybala turn down the new offer, Juventus will look to move him on rather than lose him for free a year later.
Despite his poor form this season, former England and Juventus boss Fabio Capello reckons Dybala remains one of the best around.

And the only player he would swap the ace for is Spurs star Harry Kane.
Capello told Gazzetta: “I said I wouldn’t swap Dybala to get Pogba. If I could, I’d trade him with Tottenham’s English striker Harry Kane.
“[Poor form?] Covid is the explanation, especially for a player like Dybala, who needs to dribble [past] a man.
“The impression is that he’s a bit unfinished. He captivates but leaves doubts. He certainly has superior qualities, he really has all you need.
“He needs the physical conditions to return to his best. Paulo needs to be 100 per cent well, because if you are well physically, the head leads you to face the opponents, the team-mates, the coach and even the club.
“Dybala can do everything on the pitch if he is well, even playing in a trident with Alvaro Morata and Cristiano Ronaldo.”

The 35-year-old shared the family snap to Instagram with the caption: “2020 was not an easy year, there’s no doubt about it.
“No one can be indifferent to the pain and suffering that COVID-19 brought upon the world.
“But now it’s time to bounce back and show that, together, we can make a difference.
“Because no matter how hard is the fall, what really defines us is the way we get back on our feet and how fast we are ready to face new obstacles.

“So let’s try to turn 2021 into a turning point, a new beginning, a fresh start. Because all us – and I do mean all of us – can still become better versions of ourselves. And if we do it all together, that might actually be the secret to turn things around for the better.

Amad Diallo’s Man Utd transfer could be delayed as Atalanta confirm attempt to keep him until end of season

AMAD DIALLO’S Manchester United transfer could be delayed as Atalanta hope to keep him until the end of the season.
The teenager agreed to join the Red Devils for £37million on deadline day in October, and was set to link up with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side this month.

However, the Serie A side are trying to hold on to their starlet for a few more months.
Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini said: “There is an internal solution that could be very interesting, which is Amad Diallo.
“Clearly, Manchester United own him, but he could remain with us for a few more months.
“I really like him, he’s only 18, and I’d like him to stay until June, but obviously it depends on his club.”

Diallo, 18, was signed with the intention of being put into United’s Under-23s development side – like fellow youngster Facundo Pellistri.
But at Atalanta, he is involved in the first-team set-up, although he has featured for just 35 minutes across his two appearances this season.
Red Devils boss Solskjaer spoke about Diallo’s arrival after the 2-1 win over Aston Villa on New Year’s Day – confirming the documentation is all sorted.
He said: “Amad, we’ve had all the paperwork, I can’t see any obstacles. I hope very soon he will be with us.

“I’m very excited about bringing him in, I think he’s shown a few times his qualities.
“Of course he has to learn to play in England, that’s a different level of football.
“We’ll give him time to develop and to express himself.”

A statement read: “Robert Lewandowski was named Player of the Year 2020 at last night’s Dubai Globe Soccer Awards, thanks to a combination of votes from fans all over the world and votes from the Dubai Globe Soccer Jury.
“Lewandowski has had an exceptional season, being a top scorer of the Champions League, Bundesliga and German Cup and stacking up victories for his club, Bayern Munich.”
But Ronaldo did pip long-time rival Lionel Messi, 33, and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho as the Player of the Century.
After winning the award, he said: “For 20 consecutive years I have played and scored as a professional, I didn’t know there was another record to beat.
“It’s a pleasure to hear about the records, I have achieved all this but without my team-mates, without a great team, I would not have achieved these records.”

Ronaldo, who wants to play at the highest level until he is 40, revealed he has no plans of slowing down.
He said: “It is an exceptional achievement. It gives me the motivation to move forward.
“To be named the best is a great honour, I hope that this situation is over next year and that we can have more fun, thank you very much.
“I hope to still be able to play for more years. ”

Chelsea outcast Emerson Palmieri wanted by Napoli in January loan transfer with defender not in Frank Lampard’s plans

NAPOLI are reportedly keen to sign Emerson Palmieri on loan in January.

Calciomercato report that Napoli are working on a deal to sign Emerson next month.
The Serie A side have been long-term admirers of the 12-cap Italy international.
Napoli, along with the likes of Juventus, were linked to the defender in the summer.
Chelsea are prepared to offload him – but would prefer him to leave permanently.

Emerson has fallen down the pecking order following the arrival of Ben Chilwell.
He has made just two appearances for the Blues in the Premier League this season.
The 26-year-old remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until the end of next season.
But the former Roma star is expected to leave next month in a bid to revive his career.

Chelsea also look set to lose Marcos Alonso next month to Atletico Madrid.
Lampard is on a mission to trim down his squad following his £226m summer spending spree.
But the Blues continue to be linked with a move for Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

MARIO BALOTELLI scored just four minutes into his Monza debut – his first goal in 360 days.

Italian Balotelli only joined the second tier outfit at the beginning of December on a seven month contract.
The former Manchester City and Liverpool man had been a free agent since leaving relegated Brescia during the summer.
The game is his first in more than nine months as Monza host league leaders Salernitana.
And the visitors described the goal – his first since he scored for Brescia vs Lazio on January 5, 2020 – on their Twitter.

Salernitana wrote: “Monza take the lead. Balotelli carries on his with an easy touch.”
Balotelli was seen celebrating with former Portsmouth, AC Milan and Barcelona star Kevin-Prince Boateng.
The 30-year-old shed almost a stone in training, and agreed to live close to his new club.
Balo has also accepted a £220,000-a-YEAR salary – a fraction of his £100,000-a-week wages while at Anfield.

The ‘why always me’ man is best known for his spell at City where he played his best football.
He set up Sergio Aguero for his iconic title winning goal against QPR and both men appeared in SunSport’s investigation into where members of that 2011-12 team are now.
Monza managing director Adriano Galliani previously worked with the Italy striker during his time at AC Milan.
Galliani said: “Mario has joined us with the best intentions – and now it all depends entirely on him.
“He seems highly motivated, and there is no doubting his ability.
“When he was at Milan in the 2013-14 season his goals kept us going in the Champions League.
“Here at Monza the coach and the other players tell me that, whenever he gets on the ball, he is different class.”
