Silverware could still be won this season with Juve in the Coppa Italia final, but it has been claimed that Pirlo may not even last the season.
It has been speculated that the 2006 World Cup winner has just one game to save his job, as failure to beat rivals Torino next week could see him be axed.
And according to AS, Juventus have made Zidane their No1 target to replace Pirlo with the Frenchman’s own future in Spain in doubt.
Zidane enjoyed five successful years with the Italian giants between 1996-2001 where he helped the club win the Serie A title twice.
There has even been reports that Juventus have already contacted Zidane about taking charge.
Spanish news outlet AS added that Zizou is also being monitored by France as a possible successor for Didier Deschamps.
Zidane, 48, has one year left on his deal at the Bernabeu, and he failed to rule out leaving in a recent press conference.
Discussing his future at Real, he said: “I don’t look any further than the day to day. I don’t plan anything.”

Despite rumours Pirlo could be on his way out of Juventus, club vice-president Pavel Nedved declared the manager is going nowhere any time soon.
He told DAZN: “Pirlo is and will be the coach of Juventus, that’s 100 per cent certain.
“We committed to a project with Andrea, knowing that there would be difficulties. We wanted to do better than this and haven’t managed to, but difficulties were predicted.
“We are very calm. We’re on the path that we wanted, which we will stay on. He has everything to become a great coach.”

Cristiano Ronaldo to hold showdown transfer talks with Juventus at end of season as chief Nedved insists he WILL stay

CRISTIANO RONALDO is reportedly set to hold crunch talks over his Juventus future at the end of the season. The Old Lady are fighting to qualify for the Champions League having been knocked out of this year’s competition and the Serie A title race.

A 1-0 defeat to Benevento before the international break left the team ten points off leaders Inter Milan despite Ronaldo hitting 23 goals in 24 league matches this campaign.
But reports of a potential exit, including to old club Real Madrid, refuse to go away.
It had been suggested that financial problems at Allianz Stadium could lead to the Italians accepting a bid as low as £21.5million for the star.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, neither Juve nor Ronaldo are planning on a summer transfer at this time.
In May, the two parties plan to sit down and discuss the path ahead with the 36-year-old out of contract in 2022.
Juventus vice-chairman Pavel Nedved has also insisted that he will not sell his star attacker in the summer.

The former midfielder told DAZN: “For me, Ronaldo can’t be touched.
“He has a contract until June 30, 2022 and will stay. What happens after that remains to be seen.
“Cristiano, both technically and in terms of image, pushed us towards the peak of football.
“On a technical level, you can’t fault him. He’s scored more than 100 goals in 120 games and he dragged us into the Champions League.

“We can criticise him – we all have to be open to criticism when we make a mistake – but to question his numbers and what he gives us in every game, for me, isn’t fair.”
Questions have also arisen over the future of coach Andrea Pirlo and out-of-form attacker Paulo Dybala.
Nedved has moved to assure fans that club legend Pirlo will be given another chance next season while, on Dybala, he admitted the Bianconeri will ‘evaluate every opportunity’ when the transfer window opens.

Lazio tweeted on Wednesday evening: “We are shocked by the pain. The president and all the people involved with Lazio are together with the family of the young Daniel Guerini.”
According to Italian newspaper Gazetta, Guerini’s vehicle collided head-on with a Mercedes A-Class, with two passengers in his car rushed to hospital.
The driver of the A-Class, a 68-year-old man, was also transported to hospital but with less serious injuries.
Police have launched investigations to establish the cause of the crash.
Guerini started his career in Lazio’s youth system before joining Torino on a free transfer in 2016.
He then played for Torino and Fiorentina at youth level before being loaned out to SPAL early last year.
Guerini, who represented Italy at Under-15 and U16 levels, rejoined Lazio permanently in January, signing a three-year contract with the club.
Torino also paid their respects to Guerini, tweeting: “President Urbano Cairo and the whole Torino Football Club, incredulous and deeply saddened, gather around the Guerini family for the tragic death of Daniel, our former Primavera player.”

Juventus ‘willing to offer Everton Aaron Ramsey in transfer swap for Moise Kean this summer amid Liverpool interest’

JUVENTUS are reportedly willing to offer Everton Aaron Ramsey in a swap deal for Moise Kean.Welshman Ramsey has been heavily linked with a move away from the Serie A giants with Liverpool and West Ham said to be leading the race.

And the Serie A giants are ‘willing to swap him him for Everton’s Moise Kean’Credit: Getty
But the midfielder, 30, could be headed to the blue side of Merseyside, according to TuttoJuve.
Kean, 21, is currently on loan with Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season after a disappointing spell at Goodison Park – managing just two goals in 31 Premier League games.
But the Italian has done well in France, scoring 11 goals in 20 appearances.
While he is behind the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi, Kean has looked a lot sharper.
And his excellent form is said to have attracted interest from his old side Juve.
The Old Lady are said to be willing to offer cash plus Ramsey – who earns £400,000-a-week – or Douglas Costa for Kean.
Juve value both players at around £13million each. And with Kean said to be worth £34.5m the difference would have to be made up in cash.
Kean spent nine years in Turin working his way through the youth ranks before enjoying a breakout 2018-19 campaign in the senior squad.

Liverpool boast the most-valuable squad in the Premier League

He joined Everton the following summer with then-Juve chief Maurizio Sarri believed to not be a fan.
Ramsey is said to be considering interest from both Liverpool and West Ham.
The ambitious Hammers sit fifth in the table and will be keen to bolster their squad if they qualify for Europe.
But in order to afford the former Arsenal man, David Moyes’ side would almost certainly have to leapfrog Chelsea and reach the Champions League which looks unlikely.
Since leaving Arsenal for Juventus on a free transfer in 2019, the midfielder has failed to consistently star for the Bianconeri.
In 61 appearances, he has just six goals and missed the weekend defeat to Benevento due to a thigh injury.
That same problem will keep Ramsey out of Wales’ World Cup qualifiers against Belgium and Czech Republic.
This summer also promises to be a key moment for Juventus, given their financial difficulties and the fact they may yet fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Real Madrid considering BBC reunion with Bale heading back and Ronaldo ‘made available for transfer by Juventus’

REAL MADRID could once again line up with Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo in attack next season.A huge summer in the transfer market is being prepared by Los Blancos which could see Zinedine Zidane return to his old favourite ‘BBC’ attack.

AS claim Real Madrid could go ‘back to the future’
Between 2013 and 2019, Madrid claimed four Champions League crowns, one LaLiga title and a Copa del Rey with Bale and Ronaldo partnering Benzema in attack.
The setup broke apart when the Portuguese forward moved to Juventus but a summer swoop is reportedly being pondered.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Zidane is considering giving the trio another go as he looks to revamp his attack – with their front page talking of going “back to the future”.
Karim Benzema has arguably gone from strength to strength since Ronaldo left but no other replacement has fully made their case.
If Real want to re-sign the 36-year-old, a fee as low as £22million has been touted.
That price tag would ensure Juve do not make a loss in letting the winger leave a year before his contract expires, with the club’s financial turmoil reportedly leaning them towards a sale.

Ronaldo’s wages would be far from cheap for Madrid but such a deal may turn out to be better value than attempting a move for Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland.
Fabio Paratici, director at the Serie A club, recently praised his star’s talents but reports suggest he will not stand in the way of a transfer.
As for Bale, his loan return to Tottenham will end in the summer and he is destined to head back to Madrid.
Real bosses are said to have come to terms with the Welshman’s future being in Spain some time ago.
But Bale, whose contract runs to 2022, told reporters ahead of this month’s World Cup qualifiers that he is determined to enjoy another year at the Bernabeu.
He said: “The main reason I came to Spurs this year was I wanted to play football first and foremost. But coming into the Euros I wanted to be match fit.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been on fine form for Juventus but could be allowed to leaveCredit: EPA

“The original plan was only to do a season at Spurs, then after the Euros, I’ll still have a year left at Real Madrid and my plan is to go back. That’s as far as I’ve planned to be honest.”
The inconsistent form and injury issues that led to Bale’s falling out with Zidane have not gone away in North London.
But a final run for the 31-year-old alongside his old BBC compadres could tempt the coach into realigning the stars.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, key to Inter’s rise has been losing 16lbs of weight under the guidance of the nutritionist Matteo Pincella, who began his career in rugby.
In 2012, he joined up with Antonio Conte at Juventus and now combines his club role with working for the Italian national team.
Under Pincella, Inter stars are studied and handed unique diet plans that rarely feature pasta dishes.
Instead, chicken, sweet potatoes, shirataki noodles, and fish all feature heavily and a single cheat meal a week is allowed.
For 27-year-old striker Lukaku, that has meant ditching some of the bad habits he took with him from Manchester United.
Pineapple on pizza and carbonara pasta are just two of the guilty pleasures given the boot, helping him drop from 15st 11lbs to around 14st 9lbs.

I have reached another level, physically and mentally.Romelu Lukaku
Earlier this month Lukaku detailed his diet, which does not include a breakfast, on a club podcast: “When I joined Inter we did an analysis of my body and a lot has changed.
“I eat a lot of salad and fish, which has a great effect on me. I take carnitine, it makes me feel good, and I take vitamins.
“I eat salad for lunch, a lot of chicken breast, shirataki noodles. Since following this lifestyle I feel better on the pitch, more responsive and faster.
“I love sweet potatoes and black rice, I don’t eat pasta.
“I have reached another level, physically and mentally. The day before the game I can go overboard with carbohydrates.

“After most matches I eat two packs of gnocchi. They get into my circulation quickly, they help me a lot.
“I drink and eat at the stadium, in our canteen, or I take my food home, then recover with lots of ice.”
The results have been substantial with Lukaku hitting 25 goals in all competitions this season, including a strike in the weekend win at Torino.
It was Inter’s eighth in a row in Serie A, pushing the team six points clear of AC Milan with a game in hand.

Italian outlet La Repubblica reports Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi, Atalanta manager Gian Pero Gasperini and former Inter and Roma coach Luciano Spalletti are all in the frame.
Juve are chasing a tenth consecutive Scudetto but now sit ten points behind Serie A leaders Inter Milan after losing to struggling Benevento at home.
Arthur’s howler allowed Adolfo Gaich to bag a second-half winner to end his side’s run of 11 games without a win.
Before the match, Juventus president Andrea Agnelli presented Cristiano Ronaldo with a commemorative ‘GOAT 770’ shirt to mark his remarkable goalscoring.
The Portuguese superstar, 36, overtook Brazilian legend Pele in the all-time rankings with the World Cup winner tweeting his congratulations.
The Italian press have hammered the reigning champs for their recent displays.
And Tuttosport splashed on Pirlo needing to beat local rivals Torino in the derby next weekend to save his job.

Manager Andrea Pirlo only pockets £1.6million-per-year after taking charge of the club

Gasperini’s stock has risen greatly after leading Atalanta to the Champions League knock-out stage in back to back seasons.
Last year’s run to the quarter-finals was only ended by eventual runners-up PSG and this year Real Madrid saw off the spirited Italians in the last 16.
Atalanta sit fourth in the league, six points ahead of Inzaghi’s Lazio but the Rome-based side have a game in hand.
Inzaghi has spent five years in the capital, winning the 2018 Coppa Italia.
Unemployed Spalletti would be the easiest to lure to Turin after he left Inter in 2019.
The report states the Bianconeri are not planning to sack Pirlo mid-season but could be forced to replace him with assistant Igor Tudor if things continue to slide.

Origi – who has three years left to run on his deal at Anfield – looks set to depart Merseyside having started just twice in the top-flight this term.
According to Calciomercato, Antonio Conte is lining up a move for the Belgium international to bolster his attack.
Conte wants more competition for Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez, and believes Origi could challenge for a starting spot.
Former Chelsea boss Conte has mad a habit of signing players from the Premier League – with Lukaku and Sanchez making the switch to the San Siro alongside Ashley Young and Christian Eriksen.
Inter are also interested in Parma’s Gervinho, Cagliari’s Leonardo Pavoletti and Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca, but it is understood Origi is their top target.
It has been claimed that Liverpool are more than happy to part ways with the ex-Lille ace as they look to raise funds for their own transfer business.
The report states that the Premier League champions would be willing to sell Origi for a fee in the region of £13million.
Inter are said to face competition from Borussia Dortmund in the race to secure Origi’s services.
But the Bundesliga outfit would only make a move for the former Wolsburg loanee should Erling Haaland depart Signal Iduna Park in the summer.
