JUVENTUS salvaged a Champions League finish but did so without Cristiano Ronaldo after he was dropped in the crucial win over Bologna. Boss Andrea Pirlo has fuelled Ronaldo’s exit rumours after leaving him as a substitute for ‘technical reasons.’

Juventus would run riot without him, thrashing Bologna 4-1 to seal a top-four finish by the narrowest of margins.
They can breathe a huge sigh of relief after Napoli’s 1-1 draw with Verona ensured the Old Lady will remain in Europe’s biggest club competition.
Federico Chiesa opened the scoring on six minutes before Alvaro Morata and Adrien Rabiot put the game beyond doubt at half-time.
Morata then grabbed his second as Juventus fans waited anxiously to determine whether Napoli had dropped points at home.
Qualification to the Champions League may have kept boss Pirlo in his job.
But Ronaldo’s future in Turin now appears bleak over the latest snub.
The Portuguese ace is the league’s top scorer with 29 goals.
It is only the fifth time in three seasons as a Juventus player that Ronaldo has been benched.

Club director Paratici said before the contest: “Cristiano Ronaldo is not injured.
“We’ve played a lot of games in the last few days, Wednesday was a very expensive match.
“Together with Pirlo, we’ve decided that he’s not starting tonight. But he’s available.”
Ronaldo has been linked with a move away from the club this summer with Juventus struggling financially over the coronavirus pandemic.
The 36-year-old is by far the club’s highest earner pocketing a whopping £540,000-a-week.
He still has a year left on his deal but Juve are believed to be willing to let him leave this summer.
A return to Manchester United has been mooted while Real Madrid are also looking into his availability.

ACHRAF HAKIMI appeared to snub a potential Arsenal move on live TV earlier, as he joined Inter Milan’s Serie A title party.The exciting full-back has played a key role for Antonio Conte this season, as his side romped to glory in Italy.

But with the newly crowned champions suffering financial trouble behind the scenes many of their stars, and even Conte himself, have been linked with moves away.
Arsenal and Bayern Munich are rumoured to be after Hakimi, who is one player that Inter feel they could get big money for.
But the 22-year-old appeared to make his intentions perfectly clear this afternoon.
With the camera on him, Hakimi pointed to the ground at San Siro, before pointing to the badge.
Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano also confirmed that the former Real Madrid man is ‘not planning to leave’ this summer.
Hakimi scored seven goals in 37 Serie A outings this season, also laying on an extremely useful ten assists.
And he played his part during his side’s 5-1 romp of Udinese on Sunday afternoon.
It was Ashley Young that got the scoring underway, clipping over the onrushing goalkeeper after Lautaro Martinez’s effort was blocked.

Former Spurs man Christian Eriksen then made it 2-0 with a free-kick on the stroke of half-time.
Martinez grabbed his second from the penalty spot, after Hakimi was fouled following smart dribbling in the box.
Ivan Perisic curled home a beauty with 20 minutes remaining, before an Alexis Sanchez clip ricocheted off the bar before hitting the bewildered Romelu Lukaku and going in.
Udinese pulled one back from the spot late on, but it was never going to spoil Inter’s day.
Delighted stars celebrated in front of San Siro’s limited crowd, before sharing the glory with the thousands that had congregated outside.

Ronaldo, 36, has been linked with a return to first club Sporting Lisbon as well as Real and United and he is getting cold shouldered by team-mates who are fed up at how he is given preferential treatment by club directors.
Last week the entire squad were brought in for an extra day’s training while the Portuguese international was treated to a day trip around the Ferrari HQ in Maranello near Bologna.
Earlier this week a video emerged of his car collection – which includes a Bugatti, a Mercedes jeep and a Maserati – being loaded into a trailer overnight by a team of mechanics from a Lisbon-based company.
Footage of the night time operation was posted on an Italian football website called Per Sempre Calcio and it was filmed from a balcony overlooking the garage in Turin where the cars are stored.
The firm moving the cars – Rodo Cargo – is based in the Portugese capital Lisbon and specialises in moving luxury cars belonging to footballers all over the world.
Madrid-based newspaper Marca revealed it would have cost Ronaldo around £12,000 for the whole operation, taking into account the secret nature of the move and value of the vehicles being transported.
The destination for the motors remained a mystery – until now.
Spanish media outlet Record have now claimed the vehicles have arrived in Madrid to ramp up rumours of a return to Real.
After joining Madrid for a then-world record fee of £80m from Manchester United in 2009, Ronaldo broke all kinds of records with Los Blancos.

He scored 450 goals in 438 games for Madrid, while winning two league titles and four Champions Leagues.
Ronaldo reportedly left Santiago Bernabeu because he no longer felt ‘indispensable’ in the eyes of president Florentino Perez.
But it would appear all may be forgiven and forgotten, with a potential reunion on the cards in the coming months.

Ronaldo’s mother Dolores Aveiro has already said she will ‘try to convince’ her son to return to Lisbon, but agent Jorge Mendes denied the Portugal icon will head back to his homeland.
Rumours are rife he may move back to United or even Paris Saint-German as fifth-placed Juve face the prospect of missing out on Champions League football next season.
They are away to second placed Atalanta tonight the Coppa Italia before facing Bologna in their last game of the season as they fight to clinch a spot in the Champions League. .

JUVENTUS are lining up a bid for Antoine Griezmann to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, according to reports.Ronaldo, 36, has been strongly linked with a move away from Turin in the coming months, with Manchester United circling.

Old Trafford boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ‘wouldn’t hesitate’ to bring CR7 back, if club chiefs can make the finances work.
Juve bigwigs know that a Ronaldo departure could be in the offing, and are planning for such a scenario.
And according to Spanish paper Sport, the Italian giants are plotting a move for Barca’s No7 Griezmann.
The former Atletico Madrid star, 30, joined Barca for around £108million back in 2019, after a protracted pursuit from the Catalan side.
But things haven’t quite worked out as the Frenchman would have hoped.
The 2018 World Cup winner has scored 34 goals in 98 appearances for the club.
And Barca have failed to win LaLiga or the Champions League in either of his season, going through Ernesto Valverde, Quique Setien and Ronald Koeman in the process.
New club president Joan Laporta is hoping to raise valuable funds this summer, with the club finding themselves in significant debt.
