Chelsea ‘open to selling Hakim Ziyech’ just one year after Ajax transfer with Napoli interested in Moroccan winger

CHELSEA are open to selling Hakim Ziyech just one year after his arrival at Stamford Bridge, according to shock reports. The Moroccan winger, 28, arrived in West London from Ajax in a £36.7million transfer last summer.

He made 39 appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals and assisting four.
Among those were two crucial finishes against Manchester City to help beat Pep Guardiola’s side in the FA Cup and Premier League.
But according to Calciomercato in Italy, Ziyech could be moved on when the transfer market reopens.
And the report adds Serie A giants Napoli are considering a bid.
New Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti will be keen to make his mark on the squad after taking over this summer.
And he also faces the prospect of losing attackers Lorenzo Insigne and Hirving Lozano.
AC Milan may be tempted to swoop for the Chelsea star but neither Italian outfit have made formal approaches just yet.
Ziyech faces tough competition in the Chelsea attack with the likes of Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner all battling for starting spots.

And with the potential arrival of a new No9 – such as Harry Kane, Erling Haaland or Romelu Lukaku – and Werner pushed wide, Ziyech’s opportunities could be limited further.
Thomas Tuchel may also want to shake up the squad more in his first full transfer window in charge, especially with the added lure of signing players for the European champions.
Olivier Giroud also penned a secret contract extension in April to remain with the Blues for another season.
However, seven players will be released when their contracts expire at the end of June, including Marco van Ginkel and Willy Caballero.

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Milan are triggering a clause in Tomori’s loan deal to sign the player permanently.
The fee for the English defender is believed to be €28.5million – around £24.5m.
The 23-year-old is believed to have agreed a five-year deal at the San Siro with the deal expected to be announced next week.
Tomori has done well for Milan since moving on loan in January, making 17 Serie A appearances to help them finish second – their best since 2012 – and qualify for the Champions League.
He joined Chelsea as a seven-year-old and worked his way up through the ranks, impressing on loan in the Championship with Brighton, Hull and Derby.
Tomori played under Frank Lampard at the latter club, winning their player of the year award and helping the Rams reach the Champioship play-off final.

He returned to Chelsea ahead of the 2019-20 season when Lampard was appointed Blues manager, making 15 Premier League appearances that season.
But Tamori lost his place in the team at the beginning of this campaign after the West London side signed experienced defender Thaigo Silva.
He appeared just once in the Premier League before swapping Stamford Bridge for the San Siro.

And the youngster’s decision to allegedly join Milan permanently may have something to do with Silva signing a new one-year contract with the Blues.
Striker Olivier Giroud has also signed a new one-year deal and manager Thomas Tuchel has put pen to paper for another two years.
But goalkeeper Willy Caballero and Jamal Blackman will leave the club at the end of this month when their contracts expire.

Ronaldo’s future at Juventus was plunged into further doubt by the return of former boss Max Allegri.
According to The Express, the Italian coach’s return could spell the end for Ronaldo at the club.
This is because Allegri reportedly asked Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli to get rid of the Portuguese superstar around the time he was sacked.
The request came after Ronaldo had spent just one season playing for the then Italian champions, a campaign in which he netted 28 goals in 43 games.

Inter have confirmed Inzaghi has signed a two-year deal at the Italian champions in a short statement on their website.
He is the younger brother of AC Milan legend Filippo Inzaghi, who won two Champions League titles during an 11-year stint at the San Siro.
The new Inter manager’s CV is also very impressive, winning Serie A, three Italian Cups, two Italian Super Cups and the Uefa Super Cup during his 11 years at Lazio.
Inzaghi became Lazio boss in 2016 and enjoyed substantial success during his five-year spell, winning the Italian Cup and two Italian Super Cups.
He also guided the Rome-based club to Champions League qualification in 2019-20.
News of Inzaghi’s appointment comes as little surprise, with star player Romelu Lukaku telling the press he’d spoken to the new coach.

Inzaghi’s predecessor Conte resigned following a row with Inter’s owners, believed to be about their worrying financial state.
The Italian champions reportedly need to sell players this summer to balance the books.

Defender Achraf Hakimi has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Chelsea.
There is also speculation about midfielder Christian Eriksen’s future following the change of management.
Conte is now being linked with the vacant position at Tottenham, with reports suggesting he’s in advanced talks with the Premier League side.

Paramedics swiftly arrived on the scene but Perrino was later pronounced dead having reportedly suffered a heart attack.
It came only three years after his brother, Rocco, had died suddenly at the age of 24.
Local authorities have ordered an autopsy to discover the cause of Giuseppe’s death.
Perrino was on the books of Serie A club Parma as a youth and represented his country in the Lega Pro Under-21 team, and the U21 C team.
Having left the Crociati without making an appearance, he spent his career in the third and fourth tiers with teams such as Turris, Ebolitana and Bellaria.
Parma’s official Twitter account led the tributes to their former player and Wednesday’s Festa della nostra Repubblica celebrations in Poggiomarino were cancelled as a mark of respect.
The club stated: “The thoughts of everyone at Parma Calcio 1913 go out to the Perrino family, following the loss of Giuseppe.”
Local mayor Maurizio Falanga wrote on his Facebook page: “Today marks our Republic Day. An important event for us and for our history.

“Unfortunately Poggiomarino mourns the passing of his young son who reunites with his beloved brother Rocco.
“Last night we preferred to cancel the tricolor lighting ceremony on the facade of the municipal house in conjunction with the tragic news.
“There are no words to express the sympathy for the family already so hard hit. On this day that was supposed to be a celebration, I express the closeness of our entire community to the passing of young Giuseppe.”

Sevilla hope to land Man Utd flop Alexis Sanchez on cut-price transfer amid Inter Milan’s financial struggles

ALEXIS SANCHEZ has emerged as a transfer target for Sevilla ahead of a busy summer sell-off for Inter Milan. The Serie A champions are reportedly wanting to cash in on £85million worth of talent and cut their wage bill by as much as 20 per cent.

Antonio Conte quit the club over the decision, which was taken amid a financial crisis for Inter and Chinese owners Suning.
A number of players have already been identified for a move including Achraf Hakimi, with Paris Saint-Germain hoping to bag a £50m deal.
High-earner Christian Eriksen and Marcelo Brozovic, out of contract in 12 months’ time, could also be moved on.
Sanchez, 32, is an option given he was not a regular starter during the Scudetto triumph despite his hefty £117,000-a-week wages.
Spanish newspaper Sport quotes Italian media reports that suggest Sevilla are chasing the Chilean.
The deal would require Inter to accept a cut-price bid for Sanchez.

Having signed him on a free from Manchester United last year following an initial loan spell, it would not be difficult for the club to make a profit.
In addition, the winger may have to take a pay cut even though he has two years remaining on his Nerazzurri contract.
Sevilla could find themselves with more cash to play with later in the window if Jules Kounde is sold.
The centre-back is being eyed by Chelsea, Manchester United and more for a deal that could reach £60m.

Only 500 Chirons were ever made as the French manufacturer formulated its successor to the historic Veyron – which Ronaldo also owns.
Powered by an eight-litre, quad-turbocharged W16 engine, it spits out 1,500 horsepower to hit a top-speed of over 300mph.
Purchased in 2017, the Bugatti takes pride of place in Ronaldo’s incredibly impressive garage.
Last month, the 36-year-old took a trip to Maranello to pose for photos with Ferrari’s Formula One stars and pick up his £1.4m Monza convertible.
Already in his collection were a Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari F12, Rolls Royce Cullinan, McLaren Senna and much more.
And soon to be added is the ludicrous Bugatti Centodieci, which will be delivered this year after Ronaldo forked out £8.5m as a treat to himself following a Juventus title win.

Only ten of the Centodieci, which will crank up to 1,600 horsepower, are being made.
Many of the cars were recently shipped out of Turin and back to Spain, fuelling speculation that Ronaldo will soon leave Juventus.
The Chiron in question is thought to have been among the vehicles spotted boarding a specialist wagon hired to transport the expensive fleet.

Ronaldo is out of contract at the Serie A giants in a year’s time and rumours persist over a move to Paris Saint-Germain or Manchester United.

This season, he has largely been restricted to the bench aside from a seven-goal December and last started a game for Thomas Tuchel in March.
With his contract up at the end of the month, Giroud is free to negotiate a free transfer away from Chelsea with several clubs reportedly interested.
But Serie A side Milan have won the race, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Negotiations with Rossoneri legend and technical director Paolo Maldini are described as going well and an agreement is within sight.
The opportunity to remain in the Champions League while experiencing Italian football is said to be high on Giroud’s wishlist.
