Liverpool ‘want Aaron Ramsey transfer and can land ex-Arsenal star for just £10m as Juventus look to lower wage bill’

LIVERPOOL are interested in signing Juventus star Aaron Ramsey for just £10million this summer, according to reports. The Welshman has been in and out of the team since joining the Italian giants from Arsenal back in 2019.

But he is currently out of favour under Andrea Pirlo, having failed to feature in their last five games.
According to Tutto Juve, Ramsey is ‘on Jurgen Klopp’s radar’, and could be available for a cut price.
Juve are claimed to initially want around £17m for the man they signed on a free transfer from the Gunners.
But they could accept an offer as low as £10m, as they desperately seek to cut their enormous wage bill.
Ramsey, 30, is believed to earn around £120,000-a-week – despite not being a key player in Turin.
The Wales star has two years remaining on his deal, with Juve eager to cut that short.
He did get his hands on the Coppa Italia trophy last night, however.
But he didn’t feature in either the semis or the final, instead watching on from the bench as his team-mates beat Atalanta.

Ramsey did manage to get involved in the dressing room celebrations though, as he toasted winning his third trophy in two seasons with the Old Lady.
He has made 65 appearances in that time, scoring only six goals and grabbing a further six assists.
Liverpool, meanwhile, could do with bolstering their midfield, with Georginio Wijnaldum appearing almost certain to leave on a free transfer, as Barcelona circle.

Inside Juventus dressing room celebrations after Coppa Italia win as history maker Cristiano Ronaldo cheers in his pants

SOME jubilant Juventus stars lost their shorts amid the passionate dressing room celebrations after their 2-1 Coppa Italia final triumph over Atalanta.Andrea Pirlo’s men put their Serie A problems to one side, seizing glory against the Italian top flight’s second-placed club in front of around 4,300 fans at Mapei Stadium.

Afterwards, Cristiano Ronaldo and Co stripped down to their pants in the dressing room as they toasted their cup victory.
The delighted players bounced up and down as they marvelled at the golden trophy, while under-pressure Pirlo beamed ear-to-ear while clutching it.
Ronaldo, 36, made history – as this success means that he has now won every major competition he’s ever featured in while playing for Juve, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
He marked the occasion by stripping to a pair of tiny black undies and fist pumping the air.
Missing from that list is first club Sporting Lisbon – but that could change before the end of his career… if his mother Dolores has anything to do with it.
Ronaldo signed off the evening by posting a picture of himself appearing to sleep while holding the trophy in the early hours of this morning.

Juve had actually started the match on the back foot, as Atalanta looked confident early on.
But Dejan Kulusevski came back to haunt his former club, curling Juve into a scarcely deserved lead in the 31st minute.
The Swede put his finger to his lips as he celebrated, attempting to silence the critics as Juve stand on the verge of missing out on a place in next season’s Champions League.
Ruslan Malinovskiy had Atalanta level just ten minutes later, when he was awarded plenty of time and space to smash home from the edge of the box.
Federico Chiesa squandered a fantastic chance on the hour mark, striking the post after being put through by Ronaldo’s exquisite backheel.
But he made amends in the 73rd minute, notching what would turn out to be the winner with his left foot after being set up by Kulusevski’s pinpoint pass.
Absent from the celebrations was an abundance of alcohol – with Juve still having significant work to do on the final day of the Serie A season.
Going into Sunday’s clash with Bologna, Pirlo’s side sit fifth – a point back from Napoli and AC Milan.

    THANKS FOR JOINING US
That’s all from us tonight as Juventus sealed a record extending FOURTEENTH Coppa Italia triumph.
Dejan Kulusevski opened the scoring for Juventus after half an hour with an expert curling effort, before Ruslan Malinovskiy levelled things up ten minutes later with a thunderbolt from eighteen yards.
Juventus came out after the break the better of the two sides and almost took the lead, with Federico Chiesa striking the post after a wonderful back-heel from Cristiano Ronaldo.
Chiesa made amends ten minutes later though, collecting a through ball from Dejan Kulusevski and firing past Pierluigi Gollini with fifteen minutes left to play.
Atalanta never really looked like scoring after that and Juventus easily saw out the ninety minutes to win a fifth Coppa Italia in seven years.
Attention for Andrea Pirlo’s side now turns to Sunday’s Serie A finale at Bologna, with the Old Lady still in with a shout of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
Atalanta meanwhile host AC Milan knowing a win would seal a second place finish in the league and secure Champions League football.
    That’s all for now though.
Thanks for joining us, it’s been a pleasure.
    OLE OLE OLE
Juventus’ win tonight puts the gloss on what has been a season to forget so far for the Old Lady.
They are still in with a shot of qualifying for next year’s Champions League, but need to win on Sunday and hope other results go their way.

    HANDS ON THE PRIZE
And here’s Cristiano Ronaldo celebrating with the Juventus fans.
He wasn’t involved too much tonight but he didn’t need to be, with Dejan Kulusevski and Federico Chiesa firing Juventus to their FOURTEENTH Coppa Italia victory.

Tonight’s win is the fourteenth time Juventus have lifted the Coppa Italia.
That’s FIVE more than Roma, who have won the tournament the second most times.

    FT: ATALANTA 1-2 JUVENTUS
So Juventus come from behind to avenge last year’s final defeat to Napoli and secure a record extending FOURTEENTH Coppa Italia triumph.
For Atalanta meanwhile it’s a second final defeat in the last three years, and their wait for a first major trophy since 1963 goes on.
It was a game of two halves really, with Atalanta dominating the first period and Juventus enjoying the better of the second half.
    PEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
    THAT’S FULL TIME!
JUVENTUS HAVE WON THE COPPA ITALIA!
    ATALANTA 1-2 JUVENTUS
    94. Juventus should make it four really.
They break forward and have a four on two situation.
Danilo dithers on the ball though and ends up having to shoot from the edge of the area.
His effort is straight into the arms of Gollini.
    ATALANTA 1-2 JUVENTUS
    93. The delivery from the corner is a poor one.
It doesn’t even beat the first man.
    ATALANTA 1-2 JUVENTUS
    92. Ilicic crosses in from the left but Bonucci gets his head on the ball to divert the ball behind for a corner.
Do Atalanta have one last chance left in them?
    ATALANTA 1-2 JUVENTUS
    90. The fourth official indicates four minutes of added time at the end of the game.
Not long to go now for Juve…
    ATALANTA 1-2 JUVENTUS
    89. Toloi is shown the red card for something he’s said on the touchline.
Ilicic is now into the book for a late challenge.
Atalanta look like they’ve lost their heads here, which suits Juventus perfectly.
    RED CARD!
TOLOI HAS BEEN SHOWN THE RED CARD!
BUT HE’S NOT ON THE PITCH!
HE CAME OFF EARLIER IN THE GAME!
    ATALANTA 1-2 JUVENTUS
    87. Romero tries to float a ball into the box but Chiellini heads clear.
Ilicic challenge for the second ball with Danilo going down very theatrically to win a free kick.
De Roon is into the book for his protests after the foul is awarded.
    ATALANTA 1-2 JUVENTUS
    85. Atalanta yellow card.
Freuler is the latest man in the book for a trip on Dybala from behind.
Juve won’t mind that, the game being scrappy suits them just fine.

Ronaldo, 36, has been linked with a return to first club Sporting Lisbon as well as Real and United and he is getting cold shouldered by team mates who are fed up at how he is given preferential treatment by club directors.
Last week the entire squad were brought in for an extra day’s training while the Portugese international was treated to a day trip around the Ferrari HQ in Maranello near Bologna.
Earlier this week a video emerged of his car collection – which includes a Bugatti, a Mercedes jeep and a Maseratti – being loaded into a trailer overnight by a team of mechanics from a Lisbon-based company.
Footage of the night time operation was posted on an Italian football website called Per Sempre Calcio and it was filmed from a balcony overlooking the garage in Turin where the cars are stored.
The firm moving the cars – Rodo Cargo – is based in the Portugese capital Lisbon and specialises in moving luxury cars belonging to footballers all over the world.
The destination for the motors remained a mystery – until now.
Spanish media outlet Record have now claimed the vehicles have arrived in Madrid to ramp up rumours of a return to Real.
After joining Madrid for a then-world record fee of £80m from Manchester United in 2009, Ronaldo broke all kinds of records with Los Blancos.

He scored 450 goals in 438 games for Madrid, while winning two league titles and four Champions Leagues.
Ronaldo reportedly left Santiago Bernabeu because he no longer felt ‘indispensable’ in the eyes of president Florentino Perez.
But it would appear all may be forgiven and forgotten, with a potential reunion on the cards in the coming months.

Brazil cult hero Adriano sees himself in ‘unstoppable’ Romelu Lukaku and regularly texts his Inter Milan ‘heir’

FORMER Inter Milan striker Adriano feels Romelu Lukaku has become the ‘heir’ to his goalscoring thrown at the Italian giants.Adriano played 177 times for Inter across two spells between 2003 and 2009, scoring 74 goals.

And the four-time Serie A winner believes that Lukaku – who has netted 63 times in 94 games for the Italian club since arriving from Manchester United – has many characteristics which liken him to the ex-Brazil international.
Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Adriano said: “Romelu is very similar to me from all points of view.
“Not only for the physical strength and his left foot, but also for the humility and the very strong family bond.
“He’s a unique and technical player, no one can stop him. Imagine for a moment, me and him on the pitch together… Mamma mia!”
Adriano, whose career spiralled out of control after the death of his father, also revealed he has exchanged text messages with the Belgian striker.
“We met through a direct on Instagram organised by Inter during the lockdown – we had never spoken before,” he added.
“From that day on we started texting – he also speaks Portuguese. He’s a power on the pitch and an incredible human off it.
“I’m very proud that he has become my heir.”

Adriano hit the headlines back in March after moving out of his £1.2million mansion and moving into a £10,000-a-month hotel, leaving behind everything except the medals from his football career.
Meanwhile, Lukaku recently helped Inter Milan secure their first Serie A title since 2010 under manager Antonio Conte.
The Nerazzurri ended Juventus’ run of nine straight scudettos in a row by wrapping the title up in fairly routine fashion.
Along the way, Lukaku has netted 23 league goals, with only Cristiano Ronaldo managing more in the Italian top flight this season.
