Brazilian ace Neymar, 29, recently signed a new four-year, £500,00-a-week contract at PSG so is in it for the long haul.
His decision reportedly left Barcelona feeling ‘betrayed and used’ as they were keen to bring him back to the Nou Camp.
In Turin, Juve may be forced to let Ronaldo leave at the end of the season if they don’t make the top four in Serie A.
They currently sit fifth and outside the Champions League qualification positions – three points behind AC Milan in fourth with three games left.
The Portuguese legend has reportedly become ‘nervous and irritable’ at Juve – and has ‘given up’ with five clubs said to be keeping tabs on the situation.
And it appears Neymar would like the 36-year-old to join him at the Parc des Princes.
Asked by GQ which player from history he would like to play alongside, Neymar said: “I would choose Cristiano Ronaldo – because I already played with great players like Messi and Mbappé.
“But I haven’t played beside Ronaldo yet.”

Adriano reveals he fell out of love with football after dad’s death saw him spiral into depression and hit the bottle

BRAZIL legend Adriano has heartbreakingly revealed that his father’s tragic death was the reason he fell out of love with football. The former Inter Milan striker, 39, was once touted as the heir to Ronaldo before battles with alcohol and depression saw his career decline.
Adriano was hit hard by the death of his dad Almir Leite Ribeiro
The former Inter Milan striker admitted he found no joy in his scoring feats at the San SiroCredit: Getty
At his peak, ‘The Emperor’ scored seven on the way to winning the Golden Boot during his country’s Copa America triumph in 2004.
But just nine days later Adriano’s father Almir Leite Ribeiro passed away and the forward has admitted the news sent his career spiralling.
He wrote in The Players’ Tribune: “After that day, my love for football was never the same. He loved the game, so I loved the game. It was that simple.
“It was my destiny. When I played football, I played for my family. When I scored, I scored for my family. So when my father died, football was never the same.
“I was across the ocean in Italy, away from my family, and I just couldn’t cope with it.
I have a hole in my ankle, and one in my soulAdriano
“I got so depressed, man. I started drinking a lot. I didn’t really want to train. It had nothing to do with Inter. I just wanted to go home.
“To be honest with you, even though I scored a lot of goals in Serie A over those few years, and even though the fans really loved me, my joy was gone. It was my dad, you know? I couldn’t just flip a switch and feel like myself again. Not all injuries are physical, you understand?
“When I popped my Achilles in 2011? Man, I knew that’s when it was over for me, physically.
“You can get surgery and rehabilitate it and try to carry on, but you will never be the same. My explosiveness was gone. My balance was gone. S***, I still walk with a limp. I still have a hole in my ankle.
“It was the same thing when my father died. Except the scar was inside me. ‘Man, what happened to Adriano?’ Brother, it’s simple. I have a hole in my ankle, and one in my soul.”
Adriano won four Serie A titles with Inter and remains a cult hero in Italy
Adriano – who retired in 2016 – revealed Inter had to pretend he was injured to cover up his drinking following the death of his father.
But behind the scenes, the ex-Brazil international admitted his off-field demons caused plenty of rows with then-manager Jose Mourinho.
He added: “In 2008, it was the time of Mourinho at Inter, and everything was just too much.
“The press were following me everywhere, and everything with Mourinho was, ‘F***ing hell! F***ing s***! You’re going to f*** me, aren’t you, boy?’
“I said, ‘Oh Lord. Get me out of here.’ I just couldn’t cope. I got called for the national team, and before I left Mourinho said, ‘You’re not coming back, are you?’ I said, ‘You already know it!’
    “One-way ticket, brother.”
In 2008, it was the time of Mourinho at Inter, and everything was just too much
Adriano ultimately won four Serie A titles with Inter – and these accomplishments are especially dear to him.
In fact, when he recently flogged his £1.2million mansion, moving to a luxury £10,000-a-month hotel room, he only took his medals with him.
Adriano was also beloved for the three different spells he had with Flamengo – who play at the Maracana.
He even recently broke down in tears following the announcement that he had been inducted into the Maracana Stadium Walk of Fame.
And in the honest piece published in The Tribune, Adriano lifted the lid on the party culture at Flamengo on his return to Brazil.
Adriano also lifted the lid on the party culture at Flamengo on his return to his homeland
He said: “I was broken from my father’s death. I wanted to feel like myself again. I wasn’t on drugs. Was I drinking? Yes, of course. Hell yes, I was. Cheers to you, brother.
“Listen, if you test my piss — hand to God — you’re not going to find any drugs in my system. The day that I do drugs is the day that my mom and nan will die.
“But you know what? You will definitely find some booze. That p*** cup is probably going to turn cloudy like a caipirinha!
“When I came home to Rio to play for Flamengo, I did not want to be The Emperor anymore. I wanted to be Adriano. I wanted to have fun again. And brother, we had some fun.

“I will tell you the truth about that Flamengo team. Sometimes we showed up to training not for the football, but just for the drinks afterward.
“As soon as we were dismissed from training — poom! — party time. Straight to the Mercado Produtor. All the wives knew the deal! ‘We’ll be home at midnight!’ Hahahaha!
“The next day at training, someone would really be suffering, and another guy would say, ‘It’s O.K., brother. I see that you’re f*****. I’ll run for you! I got you!!!’”

He then returned 12 months later but has made just 16 Serie A appearances over nearly two years, largely playing second fiddle to Wojciech Szczęsny.
And, with his contract up at the end of the season, Buffon has now confirmed he will be leaving in the summer.
Sky Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted a quote from Buffon which read: “I’ve decided to leave Juventus at the end of the season, I’m not extending the contract.”
And Juve Canal report that the keeper added: “This year will be the definitive end of my beautiful & long experience with Juventus.”
It does not appear he is retiring, simply leaving Juventus at the end of his contract.
Buffon is widely regarded as one of the greatest keepers in the history of football.
He is one of just 31 players to have played more than 1,000 games in his career.
The Italian shot-stopper also holds the record for the most Serie A appearances with 656, nine more than AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini.

Andrea Pirlo’s side dropped out of the top four following the loss, as they sit in fifth spot with just three games to go.
And instead of taking part in a recovery session ahead of Wednesday’s away trip to Sassuolo, Ronaldo showed up at Maranello – home of Ferrari’s F1 headquarters.
He was accompanied by club chairman Andrea Agnelli and the 45-year-old’s cousin John Elkann, who is the CEO of Exor and Ferrari.
Exor is the holding run by the Agnelli family that controls both Juventus and Ferrari.
Whilst at Ferrari’s HQ, Ronaldo posed for a photo with F1 drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, who were given signed Juve shirts.
And according to Corriere della Serra, Ronaldo treated himself to a Ferrari Monza worth £1.4million.
Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is also a proud owner of the limited edition vehicle having bought it for his 38th birthday in 2019.
Ronaldo’s supercar is just the latest in his collection that also includes an £8.5m Bugatti Centodieci as well as a Bugatti Chiron and Veyron.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s future in Turin is in question with Juve on the brink of having to settle for the Europa League.
Despite the Italian side suffering in Serie A this season, Ronaldo has starred, with the ex-Manchester United ace the league’s top scorer with 27 goals in 31 games.
But it could be his last campaign in Italy as Juve may cash in on the player with Ronaldo having just a year left on his contract.
Should they miss out on the Champions League, Juventus wouldn’t be able to afford his mammoth £28m-a-year salary.
The Euro 2016 winner has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain to play alongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
And there have even speculation that he could return to either Real Madrid, Sporting Lisbon or the Red Devils.

Watch Chelsea star Tomori casually FLOOR Cristiano Ronaldo as he intercepts pass in AC Milan’s 3-0 win over Juventus

THIS is the moment Fikayo Tomori FLOORS Cristiano Ronaldo in AC Milan’s 3-0 win at Juventus.Chelsea defender Tomori, 23, has been on loan at the San Siro since January.

He has made a huge impression in Milan, playing 19 times in all competitions.
But Tomori saved his biggest performance for Sunday’s stunning victory in Turin.
The England centre-back netted one of three goals for Milan as the former champions crumbled at home.
But there was an even more extraordinary moment when Tomori went to challenge Ronaldo for a loose pass.
Both men charged towards the stray ball as it moved at speed towards the edge of Milan’s penalty area.
They both arrived at the same time, with Ronaldo, 36, looking like he may even get the first foot in.
However, Tomori casually stepped in front of the Portuguese legend at the last second, winning the ball while sending Ronaldo crashing to the floor.
The 3-0 result sent Milan three points clear of Juventus in the battle for a Champions League spot.

And the San Siro side are now eager to finalise a permanent £25million deal for Tomori, who they claim is eager to join them from Stamford Bridge.
Boss Stefano Pioli revealed: “We want to buy Tomori on a permanent deal from Chelsea.
“Our intention is clear and also Fikayo’s decision [to stay at Milan].
“We’ll see what happens at the end of the season.”
Whether Thomas Tuchel wants to keep Tomori or not remains to be seen, with the ace struggling for minutes under former gaffer Frank Lampard.
However, Chelsea are now playing a system with three centre-backs.
Minus versatile veteran right-back Cesar Azpilicueta, there are just four natural players for those spots.
And Tuchel may want Tomori back in London to help him build a new Blues dynasty.

The trio are the only teams left from the initial 12 yet to withdraw from the proposed ESL and are all looking at potential disciplinary action from the governing body.
But Juventus now face another threat from much closer to home after Italian FA president, Gabriele Gravina, issued them a chilling threat.
He said: “The rules are clear. If a club is still part of the Super League project, they can’t play in Serie A.
“It would be sad for the fans, but the rules are the same for everyone.”
Speaking to RAI’s Radio Anch’io Sport, he added: “Those who don’t respect the principles to which they must be inspired.
“They are simple principles, affirmed by the Olympic Charter and then reported by the statutes of national and international federations.
“They are clear principles, in which the exclusivity of sport management is established. I hope that this dispute can be resolved as soon as possible.
“We are all a bit tired of this tug-of-war between Uefa and these three clubs. I hope to be able to mediate between Juventus and Uefa.

“It’s not good for international football, Italian football, Juventus. We have already said that the football association respects the rules.
“The rules foresee the non-participation in our championship if the principles established by the federation and Uefa are not accepted.”
Juve, Madrid and Barca have all blasted the ‘intolerable’ pressure and threats to abandon the ESL project over the weekend.
And all three have vowed to ‘persevere’ with the plan despite its considerable rejection.
They issued a joint statement on Saturday that defended their desire for the ESL’s formation and expressed ‘regret’ at seeing the other nine teams drop out and recommit to Uefa.
Uefa have vowed to take ‘appropriate action’ against the trio over their role in the fiasco, which was instantly condemned by the rest of the footballing world.
However, Juve, Madrid and Barcelona all warned Uefa to back off as they expressed their hopes to be able to discuss solutions to the ‘systemic crisis in the football sector’.

It was his first goal in Italian football and, following stunners from Brahim Diaz and Ante Rebic, put the Rossoneri on course to secure Champions League qualification.

Juventus reject transfer approaches from Chelsea and Barcelona for defender Matthijs de Ligt and refuse to sell Dutchman

JUVENTUS have turned down offers from Barcelona and Chelsea for star defender Matthijs de Ligt ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports.De Ligt has been among Juve’s most impressive players amid a rather turbulent season under manager Andrea Pirlo, which could even see them missing out on Champions League qualification.
Juventus star Matthijs de Ligt was targeted by Barcelona and ChelseaCredit: Getty
A report from Tuttosport claims Chelsea were the first to show an interest for the centre-back, whose consistent performances have seen the Bianconeri conceding a mere 31 goals in 34 Serie A matches.
Barca also made an approach for the Netherlands international after their failed bid in 2019, which is when he moved to Turin from Ajax.
However, both transfer requests have been turned down by Juventus, who just recently conceded the Serie A crown to Inter Milan.
Barcelona have been courting De Ligt for two years now, ever since he and other young Dutch talents, like Frenkie de Jong and Donny van de Beek, burst onto the scene for Ajax.
The three of them shone bright under manager Erik ten Hag and led the Amsterdam giants to a domestic double as well as the Champions League semi-finals.

Barca had been hoping to bring back the old glory days by investing in some of Holland’s greatest talents like they did in the past with Johan Cruyff, Ronald Koeman, Patrick Kluivert and more.
The Blaugrana successfully landed De Jong but came up short with De Ligt, who opted for Juventus.
Barcelona have reportedly formed a bond with Juve, following the recent swap that saw Miralem Pjanic moving to Catalonia and Arthur going the other way.
However, that hasn’t been enough to force a deal between the European Super League partners over De Ligt.
The 21-year-old has amassed a total of 70 appearances at Juventus where he has also registered five goals and two assists.
