Cristiano Ronaldo’s mum Dolores has vowed to get him to return to Sporting Lisbon
Dolores (left) made the promise from her balcony during celebrations
Thousands of Sporting fans took to the streets as their team claimed the Primeira Liga for the first time since 2002.
But the mood turned violent as supporters clashed with riot police who fired rubber bullets after fans broke down metal barriers keeping them at bay.
Earlier in the evening on Tuesday, the Portuguese outfit pipped Porto to the title with a 1-0 win over Boavista.
And Ronaldo’s mum Dolores was jubilant.
She posted a video of herself on her Instagram story dancing and singing.
And she was also spotted on her balcony – which was draped in Sporting flags – late into the night celebrating.
Fans had gathered outside her building and were chanting and shouting.
Ronaldo, 36, started his career at Sporting before moving to Manchester United and the supporters started singing his name.

The singing died down and a voice was heard shouting up to the balcony before Dolores yelled back: “I’ll talk to him [Cristiano] to bring him back.”
Ronaldo’s whole family support Lisbon based Sporting and his sponsorship with Nike could help facilitate a move back if he leaves Juve this summer.
The Portugal captain reportedly earns £14.7million-a-year to be the footballing face of the sportswear giants after signing a ten-year deal worth £147m in 2016.
Record reports that with Nike replacing Macron as the club’s kit supplier next season the link could help facilitate a stunning return for Ronaldo – who left the club in 2003.
Ronnie is on the verge of leaving Juventus and has reportedly been isolated by the Old Lady dressing room as his team-mates believe he has too much freedom.
Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport claim tensions are boiling over in Turin after the Portuguese missed training on Monday.
He was allowed a day off to collect his new £1.4million Ferrari Monza from the supercar manufacturer’s base in Maranello.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was accompanied by Juventus’ President Andrea Agnelli and Exor Chairman and CEO John Elkann.
Such a privilege is described as upsetting Ronaldo’s Old Lady pals, who were hauled in after they lost 3-0 to AC Milan on the weekend.

Everton star Moise Kean lined up to replace Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus if they miss out on Champions League

JUVENTUS are reportedly lining up a shock move for Everton hitman Moise Kean – to replace club talisman Cristiano Ronaldo.Ronaldo’s future at the Allianz Stadium was thrown into doubt after it became mathematically impossible for Juve to win the Scudetto.

The Portuguese could opt to end his time in Turin if the Old Lady – who are currently fifth in the Serie A table – miss out on Champions League football.
And according to reports, the Juve top brass are preparing for life without the five-time Ballon d’Or winner by lining up a bid for Kean.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who claim the Serie A big boys will look to sign two new strikers if Ronaldo – who has a year left on his current contract – leaves for pastures new.
Juventus sold Italy international Kean to Everton two years ago for an initial fee of £25million.
The 21-year-old, however, is currently on a season-long loan with French champions Paris Saint-Germain – where he’s scored 16 goals in 39 appearances.
In addition to casting doubt over Ronaldo’s future, Juve’s poor season has heaped huge pressure on manager Andrea Pirlo.

But club vice-chairman Pavel Nedved insists neither man will leave Turin this summer.
In an interview with Italian outlet Striscia la Notizia, he said: “Pirlo and Ronaldo will stay at Juventus.
“There are some difficulties, but we’ll fight until the end.”
The under-pressure Pirlo has vowed to fight until the very end, saying: “I have undertaken this job with a lot of enthusiasm, there are difficulties but my work goes on and I am available.
“I think I can do better and be able to get out of it, together with the team.

“We have to look forward, I will continue to do my job as long as I am allowed.
“We had actually started fairly well in the match, but we lost our way and this was the final result.
“It’s difficult to explain now. There were many components that didn’t work.”
Nedved and Pirlo’s comments came just a few days before PSG star Neymar seemingly urged Ronaldo to end his career with the Ligue 1 giants.
The Brazilian told GQ: “I want to play with Cristiano RonaldO.
“I have already played with great players, like [Lionel] Messi and [Kylian] Mbappe, but I haven’t played with Cristiano Ronaldo yet.”
Ronaldo and his Juventus team-mates will be back in action on Saturday evening, welcoming newly-crowned Italian champions Inter Milan to the Allianz Stadium.

United are eager to sign a new partner for captain Harry Maguire and the trio are their most-wanted, according to Sky Sports.
Romero is on loan at Atalanta from Juventus.
And although they are expected to make the deal permanent in line with the £21.5million obligation to buy clause, Atalanta are said to be willing to sell this summer for £34m.
Having secured Edinson Cavani for another season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is free to focus his search for a defender.
SunSport exclusively revealed in March that United were eyeing up a move for Kounde to pair him alongside Maguire.
The 22-year-old has had another outstanding season in Spain, helping his side to fourth in LaLiga and closing in on securing a Champions League spot.
He is also said to be available for £50m.
Sevilla had originally wanted around £70m up front for the former Bordeaux ace, with clauses and add-ons included on top of that.

Kounde was close to joining rivals City last year, but a £65m-plus move collapsed at the last-minute over Nicolas Otamendi being part of the deal.
It is believed he has an £87.4m release clause inserted into his £70,000-a-week Sevilla contract which runs until 2024.
United would be willing to at least double those terms if he was to join, alongside incentives for appearances, clean sheets and winning trophies.
At Lille, Dutchman Botman has been on the radar of Europe’s biggest clubs for some time.
Liverpool were keen on the centre-back in January but the Ligue 1 side were desperate to hold on to him until at least this summer which could open the door to United.

    THANKS FOR JOINING US
That’s all from us tonight, as goals from Matteo Brozovic, Matias Vecino and Romelu Lukaku saw Champions Inter to a 3-1 victory over Roma.
Henrik Mhikitaryan scored for the visitors to make it 2-1 after half an hour, and Roma did create plenty of chances in the second half.
They couldn’t make them pay though, as Achraf Hakimi put the ball on a plate for Romelu Lukaku in stoppage time to seal all three points for the Nerazzurri.
It’s the first time Antonio Conte has beaten Roma since 2015 and ends a run of six consecutive Serie A draws between the sides.
Next up for Conte’s side is a mouthwatering clash away at Juventus on Saturday, before they finish the season away at Udinese a week later.
Roma meanwhile have the derby game with Lazio on Saturday, and finish the season away at relegation threatened Spezia.
    That’s all for tonight though.
Thanks for joining us, it’s been a pleasure.
    STAT ATTACK
Inter have registered 88 points so far in this season’s Serie A.
Only once have they done better in their history, posting 97 points in the 2006/07 season.
Two wins from their final two games would see the Nerazzurri finish on 94 points.
    ALL SMILES
It was all smiles between former Manchester United man Romelu Lukaku and former Manchester City man Edin Dzeko at full time.
Lukaku got himself on the scoresheet tonight, while Edin Dzeko was unlucky not to.
He saw one effort crash off the post and saw another fly just wide of the post.

    AS IT STANDS
Here’s what that result means for the league table.
Champions Inter stay top while Roma’s slim hopes of European football are gone.
It’s been a disappointing campaign for Paulo Fonseca’s side.
He has just two games left as Roma boss before Jose Mourinho takes over in the summer.

    MATCH STATS
Here’s a look at the match stats from tonight’s game.
Roma managed more shots and the same number of shots on target as the hosts, but it was Inter who made their chances count.
The game may have gone a different way if Edin Dzeko hadn’t seen his second half strike cannon off the post.

    DECIDER
How about this for a counter attack.
Romelu Lukaku seals the three points for Antonio Conte’s side after a textbook counter attack from the Serie A Champions.

    AT WHAT COST?
Inter may have won the game, but at what cost?
Lautaro Martinez, who came on for Alexis Sanchez in the first half, was substituted in the second half and did not react well.
He had a heated disagreement with Antonio Conte on the touchline.

    90. Roma throw bodies forward and lose the ball, allowing Inter to break.
There’s still plenty of work to do, but some excellent first time football sees Hakimi through on goal.

    That is an unbelievable clearance!
    INTER 2-1 ROMA
    85. NO PENALTY!
It doesn’t look like Darboe has made any contact on Pinamonte, who goes down very theatrically.
The Roma man is lucky to get away with his pass though, it was straight into the path of Pinamonte but the substitute couldn’t finish.
    INTER 2-1 ROMA
    84. Darboe plays the ball straight into the path of Pinamonte on the edge of his own box.
Pinamonte fires an effort over the bar before going down under a challenge from Darboe who is scrambling back.

    INTER 2-1 ROMA
    81. Roma yellow card.
Karsdorp is into the book for a foul on Hakimi on the edge of the Roma box.
This is in a dangerous position for a shot on goal, about twenty yards out, just to the left of the goal.
    INTER 2-1 ROMA
    80. Ten minutes left to play in Milan.
Roma still look the more likely to score the third, but Inter are very dangerous on the break.
    INTER 2-1 ROMA
    78. Lautaro Martinez, who came on late in the first half for the injured Alexis Sanchez, is NOT happy to be replaced.
He sends a water bottle flying as he walks off the pitch.
Antonio Conte responds with some words of his own.
    INTER 2-1 ROMA
    77. Substitutions.
Bryan Cristante is off for Gonzalo Villar for Roma.
Ashley Young and Andrea Pinamonti are on for Darmian and Martinez.
    INTER 2-1 ROMA
    76. Mkhitaryan drives forward for Inter and looks to his left and right for some options.
He holds onto it and is just about to pull the trigger from the edge of the area but is stopped by a perfect sliding challenge from Skriniar.
    INTER 2-1 ROMA
    75. The Inter corner doesn’t come to anything as the clock ticks into the final fifteen minutes of action.
    INTER 2-1 ROMA
    74. Hakimi gets himself in a dangerous position again on the right hand side as he collects a through ball from Darmian.
He crosses the ball this time, low and across the face of goal, but it’s blocked behind again.

Ronaldo latched onto a looping header as he approached the Sassuolo box from the right in the 44th minute.
He used his right foot to control the ball and knock it round an oncoming defender.
And Ronaldo finished off the effort with a clever left-footed shot into the bottom corner of the Sassuolo goal.
It means the Portugal legend has now reached the 100 club for Juventus in just three seasons.
And in doing so, Ronaldo has become the only player to score a minimum of 100 goals for three different clubs.
The striker netted 118 goals at Manchester United before plundering 450 for Real Madrid.
Ronnie’s strike rate at Juve is much better than his record at United, where he managed just 27 goals in his first three years.
But neither compares to Ronaldo’s time at Real Madrid, where he scored 146 goals in the first three campaigns.

Tonight’s win for Juventus sees them keep pace in the race for a top four finish, with Napoli a point ahead while both AC Milan and Atalanta are three clear with two games remaining.
The game got off to a nervy start when Juventus gave away a penalty in the 14th minute, but Domenico Berardi’s effort from the spot was saved by outgoing goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
Adrien Rabiot then fired Juve ahead in the 28th minute before Ronaldo’s strike made it 2-0 before the break.
Sassuolo found a way back in with half an hour remaining when Giacomo Raspadori hit the target.
But Paulo Dybala settled Juventus nerves when his 66th minute strike made sure of the 3-1 result.

SunSport previously reported that Ronaldo was targeted by the Italian press after ‘one of his worst games EVER’ against AC Milan.
The defeat leaves the Old Lady’s Champions League fate out of their own hands – one point adrift of fourth-placed Napoli with three games to go.
And that could spell disaster for Juve, with Ronaldo potentially set to quit – with former club Sporting Lisbon said to be keen on a reunion.
Another of his former teams, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain are also rumoured to be monitoring the situation.

Not only would Ronaldo reportedly have second thoughts about playing in the Europa League, Juventus may not be able to afford his wages.
The Bianconeri are facing financial problems due to the pandemic that would only get worse by missing out on Europe’s top club competition.
Talks are due to be held between the club and player at the end of the season, when there will be a year left on Ronaldo’s contract.
