Arsenal transfer target Andre Onana ‘rejects new contract offer from Ajax and is in advanced talks over Inter switch’

ARSENAL transfer target Andre Onana has rejected a new contract offer from Ajax and will leave for free next summer, reports say.And reigning Serie A champions Inter Milan are in advanced talks over a potential four-year deal.

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Onana has decided to leave Ajax next summer for free.
The keeper – who has attracted interest from a host of top European clubs including Arsenal – has rejected a contract extension.
And cash-strapped Inter have decided to make the first move for the goalkeeper, offering the Cameroonian international a four-year contract.
Onana, however, hasn’t played a competitive game or trained with Ajax or Cameroon since the start of the year due to being banned  for a doping violation.
The 25-year-old was banned in February for 12 months by Uefa, but had his ban reduced to nine months in June.
Onana was found to have furosemide – a banned substance – in his urine after an ‘out of competition’ check on 30 October 2020.

He claimed to have accidentally taken some of his wife’s medication, mistaking it for aspirin.
Arsenal legend and current Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars has confirmed that the returning Onana will NOT be training with the first team.
Overmars says the keeper faces a fight to get back his first team spot as the team have ‘moved on without him’.
In the meantime, Onana will train with Ajax’s youth side to regain fitness.
He told Ajax’s official website: “We have decided that Andre will start goalkeeper training and team training sessions with Jong Ajax.
“The question, for now, is whether he will earn a spot with the first team in the long term.

“We have now moved on without him and have recruited two keepers during his suspension.
“Both an experienced and a talented one, the latter being one with an eye on the future.
“The team has already started the season and is in the process of teambuilding.”

How Cristiano Ronaldo keeps in shape at 36 with diet plan featuring swordfish, magic chicken and five naps per day

CRISTIANO RONALDO is entering the twilight years of his career – but still looks as fit as ever on and off the pitch. And Manchester United fans hope it will help him become an instant success in his second spell at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo’s incredible diet revealedCR7 joined the Red Devils from Juventus for £12.8m this summer. After a tricky start to his Italian venture, the superstar scored 31 goals in 47 games in all competitions in his debut season. He has also just beaten Ali Daei’s international goal record scoring his 111th for Portugal on Wednesday night. But behind the scenes it takes a lot of hard work. From his diet, to exercise routine to sleep and rest, Ronaldo leads the most disciplined of lifestyles. He can eat up to SIX meals a day, with fish a big part of his diet.Credit: Instagram Fish and salad form an integral part of Cristiano Ronaldo’s diet[/caption] Ronaldo describes chicken as his ‘magic food’Swordfish, tuna and braised cod are particular favourites. He regards chicken as ‘magical’ due to its high protein and low fat content. For breakfast Ronaldo will eat ham and cheese and low-fat yoghurt. If he doesn’t have it for brekkie, the Manchester United star will wolf down avocado toast for snacks during the day.Lunch No1 could consist of chicken and salad, while No2 might be fish – maybe tuna with salad, eggs and olives.Dinner will see the football legend fill his boots with meat or fish, maybe breaking them up in two separate sittings. Sleep helps muscles recover which is really important.”Clearly the gym and intense exercise is a huge part of Ronaldo’s life – as shown by his incredible muscle definition and speedy recovery from injury. The forward follows a Pilates-based routine that focuses on resistance work to strengthen his core. Allegri took over from Andrea Pirlo this summer after an incredibly successful first spell in charge of Juventus.
He won five straight Serie A titles and was tasked with getting Juve back on top in Italy after they lost their crown to Inter Milan last season.
But Ronaldo’s stunning move to Old Trafford hasn’t gone down well with the boss, reports say.
According to Il Giornale, Allegri is ‘furious’ with club president Andrea Agnelli and sporting director Federico Cherubini.
He reportedly told club bosses that ‘these were not the agreements’ when he agreed to return to the club.
Juventus have signed Moise Kean from Everton and Euro 2020 star Manuel Locatelli from Sassuolo this summer.

But Allegri is left with pretty much the same squad that Pirlo left him over the summer, minus Ronaldo of course.
Juventus have just one point from two matches to begin their Serie A campaign.
The Italian club released a statement a few days ago confirming the end of Ronaldo’s three-year stay.
Juve also wrote of the ‘incredible journey’ that they shared with the Portuguese football icon, after going their ‘separate ways’.
Their statement mentioned the ‘unforgettable moments’ that the club shared with Ronaldo.
And it concluded: “Today that bond born on July 10, three years ago, has been dissolved, but what has been written will forever remain. It has been an incredible journey.”
Ronaldo made history last night by becoming the all-time leading international goalscorer.
He scored twice in a dramatic 2-1 win over Ireland with strikes in the 89th and 96th minutes.
They were his 110th and 111th goals for his country – passing the international record set by Iran’s Ali Daei on 109.

Symptoms of anemia include having pale skin, while individuals can also suffer from dizziness, headaches and fatigue due to lacking enough healthy red cells to transport oxygen to the tissues.
Mother-of-three Campello took to her Instagram story to discuss her illness after she shared a snap of herself on social media with a filter on her face.
She said: “I put a filter that I never put on because I really need it.
“I am destroyed, very weak, because I am very, very anemic.
“I wanted to thank you, because since I said what happened when you stop me on the street you always ask me if I feel better and I love it.”
She added: “The truth is that the anemia I have is very strong.

Now the final details are being sorted out with everything on course to be finished before tomorrow night’s deadline.
It is understood personal terms are all okay but the process to secure his visa is ongoing.
Ronaldo, 36, will sign a two-year contract worth £480,000 per week with the Red Devils and there is the option of a 12-month extension.

Cavani wore the No7 when he came off the bench at Wolves but Ronaldo could still get the iconic jersey under exceptional circumstances.
However, although he may be able to keep the number, Cavani is unlikely to keep his place in the team.
That is because manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed Ronaldo has been signed to lead the line as a centre forward.
A winger during his first spell at the club, he has transformed his game over the years to play through the middle as a clinical goalscorer.

Solskjaer said: “Cristiano has evolved as a player.
“He used to play wide right, wide left, up front. But he’s more of a centre-forward for me at the moment. Definitely.
“But there’ll be games where we play two up front and three up front. But I want him in the box. I want him scoring goals.”
