Ronaldo has one year left on his current Juve contract and finished the season with 36 goals in 44 appearances.
But it was a disastrous campaign for the Italian giants, who for the first time in TEN YEARS failed to win the Serie A title.
Now Juventus are plotting a major overhaul of their squad after axing Andrea Pirlo and replacing him with former manager Max Allegri.
According to Il BiancoNero, Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus, 24, is one of stars they are looking at to fill the potential void left by Ronaldo.
Barcelona’s French ace Ousmane Dembele, 24, is on their radar as is another former City hero in 35-year-old Edin Dzeko – who is now at Roma.
And they are all in good company.
Napoli’s Andrea Petagna, Arkadiusz Milik of Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauro Icardi are also on the shortlist.
Fiorentina’s 21-year-old hotshot Dusan Vlahovic is another name allegedly being targeted.

Barcelona ‘plan’ to unite Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in sensational transfer for Real Madrid legend

BARCELONA are planning a sensational move for Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo, according to reports from Spain. It is believed the Spanish giants want to unite the Juvenus star with Lionel Messi, who is yet to commit his future to the club.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, club captain Messi is on the verge of signing a new contract to keep him at the Nou Camp beyond this summer.
The Argentine forward is said to have a good relationship with returning president Joan Laporta and his father, Jorge, is in Barcelona to complete the deal.
And with Messi’s contract all but signed, Laporta has reportedly switched his focus to hiring Ronaldo.
Rumours suggest the administrator dreams about uniting the two greats of modern football – and is willing to give Ronaldo’s current side two players in a swap deal.
It is believed Laporta will offer Juventus two of Antoine Griezmann, Sergi Roberto and Philippe Coutinho.
Wages are not thought to be a problem, with the Portugal skipper reportedly receiving the combined salary of the two departing players.
If the transfer was to proceed, it would not go down well with Ronaldo’s former employers and Barcelona’s biggest rivals.
He is arguably Real’s greatest ever player, scoring a record 450 goals for the Spanish club between 2009 and 2018.
The ex-Manchester United star won two LaLigas, four Champions Leagues and four Ballon d’Ors during his time at the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo forged a famous rivalry with Barcelona icon Messi, who won six LaLigas, two Champions Leagues and four Ballon d’Ors during the same time frame.
The two players are widely regarded as the finest of the modern era, with football fans across the globe split on who is the greatest.
Ronaldo fans will highlight his five Champions League titles – one more than the Argentine’s tally of four – and his 781 senior goals.
Messi supporters, meanwhile, will focus on his six Ballor d’Ors – one more than the Portuguese’s tally of five – and his ten league titles.
Speaking about Messi in 2019, Ronaldo said: “I really admire the career he has had so far.
“And, for his part, he has already said that he had trouble when I left the Spanish league because it is a rivalry that he appreciates.

“It is a good rivalry that exists in football, but this is no exception.
“Michael Jordan had rivals in basketball, Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost were great rivals in Formula One…
“The only common point between all the big rivalries in the sport is that they are healthy.”
When asked a similar question, Messi revealed: “Today, there are very good players.
“Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Luis Suarez, Eden Hazard… any of them could be the best in the world.
“But I took Cristiano out of that group and put him with me.”

Cristiano Ronaldo is paid a staggering £147m by Nike, according to leaked details about Manchester United legend

CRISTIANO RONALDO is one of the most marketable people in the world. And it is for that reason Nike pay him a staggering £147million to represent the brand, according to leaked contract details.
Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly paid £147m to be sponsored by sportswear giant NikeCredit: Instagram
The Portugal star, 36, has been wearing Nike sportswear since his Manchester United days and is often used in commercials to promote new products or campaigns.
But it comes at a cost of around £14.7m per year after the Juventus forward signed a ten-year deal in September 2016, in an agreement between Nike and Polaris Sports Limited which owns Ronaldo’s worldwide marketing rights.
But as revealed by Der Spiegel’s latest Football Leaks, that is just the basic rate – add on bonuses such as winning the Ballon d’Or and his earnings from Nike rocket even higher.
It is understood he was paid a whopping £18.3m in 2016 and 2017, including a cool £3.6m top-up for being the best player in the world.
Ronaldo is thought to be Nike’s highest paid athlete – ahead of the likes of Neymar, LeBron James, Tiger Woods and Rafael Nadal.
Nike’s major rivals, especially in football are Adidas.
The German company have Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba and Dustin Johnson on their books as well as tournaments such as the World Cup and Olympics.
Adidas also have artists such as Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Stormzy and Kylie and Kendall Jenner.

Add in Ronaldo’s other commercial deals – such as the airport named after him in Madeira and his CR7 fashion brand – and his earnings become pretty eye-watering.
And that is without taking into account his wages for doing his job – just playing football.
Ronaldo – who pulled off a stunning ‘no’look’ skill during Portugal’s Euro 2020 defeat to Germany – is believed to earn £850,000-A-WEEK at Juventus, which works out at approximately £44m-per-year.
Polaris Sports Limited did not respond to Der Spiegel’s request for comment, Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes and his agency Gestifute did not comment and Nike said: “We do not comment on contracts with athletes.”

Rui Patricio ‘agrees Roma contract’ as Jose Mourinho closes in on transfer for Wolves and Portugal keeper

JOSE MOURINHO is closing in on his first signing as Roma manager after Rui Patricio reportedly agreed a contract with the Serie A club. The Portuguese boss has been keen on his compatriot for much of the summer.
Rui Patricio could leave Wolves after three years at the club
Jose Mourinho is plotting moves for multiple Premier League players
The pair share the same agent, Jorge Mendes, which is perhaps why personal terms have been agreed without the clubs agreeing a fee.
Roma will now negotiate a price with Wolves to seal the move, though a £6.8million bid has already been rejected.
Wolves are looking for £10.3m-£12.8m for the goalkeeper, according to Sky Italia.
And if Patricio is sold, Wolves will reportedly attempt to sign Olympiacos shot stopper Jose Sa, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Patricio, 33, is currently at Euro 2020 with Portugal, but is seemingly ready to depart Wolves after three years in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Mourinho is also believed to be keen on signing Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka.
The Gunners have knocked back a £13m offer from Roma for the Switzerland international.

And if Xhaka does join Roma that could pave the way for Arsenal to make a bid for Ruben Neves.
Wolves are believed to be keen on a move for Spanish forward Diego Costa this summer.
Roma, meanwhile, could sell Edin Dzeko to raise funds for Mourinho’s transfer ambitions.

Cristiano Ronaldo says his guilty pleasure is pizza as he shares tips how to stay in shape as a ripped superstar over 30

CRISTIANO RONALDO’s guilty pleasure is a pizza shared with his son.The Juventus star, 36, is renowned for the impeccable condition that has seen him rule as one of the most physically dominant players in the world.

But Ronaldo admitted even he is a sucker for a cheat meal, with the superstar opting for a pizza to avoid a ‘boring’ life.
He told YouTube channel ChrisMD: “The key is to take care of your body, train, do your recovery and eat properly.
“Although sometimes I do eat pizza with my son otherwise it would be boring.”
CR7 claimed in 2018 that he has a ‘biological age of 23’ – and wants to continue playing into his 40s.
Apart from the occasional treat with his boy, Cristiano Jr, Ronaldo sticks to a strict diet and has implemented Pilates-based routines that focus on resistance work to strengthen his core.
Post-match exercise has also become a huge part of his regime, as the Portugal skipper heads straight to the swimming pool after a game.
But when Ronaldo first came to England, signing for Manchester United at 18 in 2003, he arrived with motivation having been called “too skinny” earlier in his career.
The 36-year-old revealed: “It’s true, I was skinny. I had no muscle.

“So I made a decision at 11 years old, I knew I had a lot of talent, but I decided that I was going to work harder than everybody.
“I started sneaking out of the dormitory at night to go work out. I got bigger and faster.
“I would walk on to the field, and the people who used to whisper, ‘Yeah, but he’s so skinny,’ now they would be looking at me like it was the end of the world.”
Now one of the highest-paid footballers in the world, earning a reported £82m a year, he can afford luxuries like a Cryotherapy chamber – for muscle regeneration.
The £50,000, walk-in piece of kit works miracles on the body, with Ronaldo having one installed in 2013 after hearing it had worked well for Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery.
Standing in the chamber for around three minutes, liquid nitrogen freezes Ronaldo to between minus 160 and minus 200 degrees Celsius.
Cryotherapy beats muscle soreness and reduces swelling, inflammation or sprains – allowing the Juve forward to be ready for the next match or training session sooner.
It helps him recover from his five high-intensity workouts a week, that includes a lot of sprinting.

    Ronaldo’s top tips

Hard work: Motivation to be the best is key – which Ronaldo’s five Ballons d’Or prove.
The world is your gym: Don’t limit yourself to exercising in one place. Complete your routine at home in the morning or at night.
Booze ban: No more wild nights out if you want to stay so sculpted.
You are what you eat: Balanced diet with plenty of protein to fuel your workouts is best. Sugary foods are worst.
Ronnie says relax: Downtime at home with family and friends is a must, as well as plenty of sleep.

Though the Portuguese poster-boy insists all you need is a bedroom and spare time to get in shape.
He said: “We do a lot of sprinting drills in training and they can be incorporated into your workout whether you are in the gym or outdoors.
“Try and add it to every workout you do. Fit in exercise wherever you can.
“You can do an abs workout in your bedroom when you wake up in the morning or before you go to bed.
“If you get into a routine then it makes it easier as it will become a habit.”
Ronaldo is not a vegetarian and he does not eat a plant-based diet, but does limit his meat intake because of the higher fat content.
Fish is a key part of his diet with Lisbon speciality Bacalhau a Braz – a mixture of braised cod, onions, thinly sliced potatoes and scrambled eggs – one of his favourites.
Ronaldo has said: “I eat a high protein diet, with lots of wholegrain carbs, fruit and vegetables, and avoid sugary food.
“Eat regularly. If you train regularly it’s important to keep energy levels high to fuel your body for better performance.
“I sometimes eat up to six smaller meals a day to make sure I have enough energy to perform each session at top level.”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic undergoes surgery on left knee and AC Milan star expected to be sidelined for eight weeks

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC has had keyhole surgery on his left knee and could be out for two months. The striker, 39, after damaging his ACL in May but did not break the ligament, but AC Milan decided that an operation was necessary for Ibrahimovic to make a full recovery.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be fit to start the new season in August
And it is thought the Sweden international will be fully fit within eight weeks.
But Ibrahimovic will have to wait four more weeks until he can resume running, so he may be unavailable for the beginning of pre-season training.
A statement from the club reads: “AC Milan announces that today Zlatan Ibrahimovic underwent an arthroscopic lavage to his left knee at the UPMC Salvator Mundi International Hospital in Roma.
“The procedure carried out by surgeons Volker Musahl and Fabrizio Margheritini, and overseen by AC Milan medical chief Doctor Stefano Mazzoni and the Club’s orthopaedic consultant Roberto Pozzoni, was a success.
“Zlatan is doing well and will start his rehabilitation immediately.”
The successful surgery means Ibrahimovic has avoided more intensive surgical intervention, which Milan feared when he first picked up the injury.
It is not the first time Ibrahimovic has undergone knee surgery either.
He tore his ACL while playing for Manchester United in 2017, and was sidelined for three months before returning to action for LA Galaxy.
    Royal Ascot special 🏇🎩

The surgery gives him a chance to start the 2021/22 campaign.
That is good news for Milan, as Ibrahimovic scored 15 goals in 19 Serie A games last season.
His form helped propel the Rossoneri to the top of the table in the early part of the season before rivals Inter took control of the title race and ended up as Serie A winners.
