He was spotted out enjoying a reasonably priced meal with his proud mum Dolores Aveiro in September after she travelled to England to watch his second debut for Manchester United.
But Ronaldo has admitted in the past that even he is a sucker for a cheat meal, with the Portugal legend opting for a pizza to avoid a ‘boring’ life.
He told YouTube channel ChrisMD: “The key is to take care of your body, train, do your recovery and eat properly.
“Although sometimes I do eat pizza with my son, otherwise it would be boring.”
CR7 claimed in 2018 that he has a ‘biological age of 23′ – and wants to continue playing into his 40s.
Apart from the occasional treat with his boy, Cristiano Jr, Ronaldo sticks to a strict diet and has implemented Pilates-based routines that focus on resistance work to strengthen his core.
Post-match exercise has also become a huge part of his regime, as the Portugal skipper heads straight to the swimming pool after a game.

But when Ronaldo first came to England, signing for Manchester United for the first time in 2003, he arrived with motivation having been called “too skinny” earlier in his career.
He revealed: “It’s true, I was skinny. I had no muscle.
“So I made a decision at 11 years old, I knew I had a lot of talent, but I decided that I was going to work harder than everybody.
“I started sneaking out of the dormitory at night to go work out. I got bigger and faster.
“I would walk onto the field, and the people who used to whisper, ‘Yeah, but he’s so skinny,’ now they would be looking at me like it was the end of the world.”
Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford at the end of the summer transfer window, 12 years after leaving for Real Madrid.
    Ronaldo’s top tips

Hard work: Motivation to be the best is key – which Ronaldo’s five Ballons d’Or prove.
The world is your gym: Don’t limit yourself to exercising in one place. Complete your routine at home in the morning or at night.
Booze ban: No more wild nights out if you want to stay so sculpted.
You are what you eat: Balanced diet with plenty of protein to fuel your workouts is best. Sugary foods are worst.
Ronnie says relax: Downtime at home with family and friends is a must, as well as plenty of sleep.

And as one of the highest-paid footballers in the world, he can afford luxuries like a Cryotherapy chamber – for muscle regeneration to help him continue at the top of his game.
The £50,000, walk-in piece of kit works miracles on the body, with Ronaldo having one installed in 2013 after hearing it had worked well for ex-Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery.
Standing in the chamber for around three minutes, liquid nitrogen freezes Ronaldo to between minus 160 and minus 200 degrees Celsius.
Cryotherapy beats muscle soreness and reduces swelling, inflammation or sprains – allowing the Red Devils forward to be ready for the next match or training session sooner.
It helps him recover from his five high-intensity workouts a week, which includes a lot of sprinting.
Though the Portuguese poster-boy insists all you need is a bedroom and spare time to get in shape.
He said: “We do a lot of sprinting drills in training and they can be incorporated into your workout whether you are in the gym or outdoors.
“Try and add it to every workout you do. Fit in exercise wherever you can.
Here’s what Cristiano Ronaldo eats on a daily basis
“You can do an abs workout in your bedroom when you wake up in the morning or before you go to bed.
“If you get into a routine then it makes it easier as it will become a habit.”
Ronaldo is not a vegetarian and he does not eat a plant-based diet, but does limit his meat intake because of the higher fat content.
Fish is a key part of his diet with Lisbon speciality Bacalhau a Braz – a mixture of braised cod, onions, thinly sliced potatoes and scrambled eggs – one of his favourites.
Ronaldo has said: “I eat a high protein diet, with lots of whole grain carbs, fruit and vegetables, and avoid sugary food.
“Eat regularly. If you train regularly it’s important to keep energy levels high to fuel your body for better performance.
“I sometimes eat up to six smaller meals a day to make sure I have enough energy to perform each session at top level.”

Cristiano Ronaldo reveals iconic ‘Sii’ celebration began against Chelsea during a pre-season friendly in the USA

CRISTIANO RONALDO has revealed that his iconic “Sii” celebration was born against former Premier League rivals Chelsea. The Portuguese superstar, now 36, is now renowned for his trademark jump in the air and swivel move – accompanied by him shouting “Sii” – whenever he scores a goal.

He regularly performs the unique celebration now, but it was fans in America who first witnessed the pose.
Speaking to the YouTube channel Soccer.com, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner revealed he whipped out the now-classic move while playing for Real Madrid in a friendly against Chelsea.
Ronaldo recalled: “Well, I was in the US and we played against Chelsea and I don’t know where it came from. I just scored and I went, ‘sii!’
“But it was natural, to be honest.
“After that, I started doing it and I feel like the fans, when they see me they’re like ‘sii’ and I was like, ‘wow, people remember Cristiano because of the sii,’ so I continued like that.”
I feel like the fans, when they see me they’re like ‘sii’ and I was like, ‘wow, people remember Cristiano because of the sii,’Cristiano Ronaldo
On that day in 2013, Ronaldo actually scored twice for Los Blancos as they beat Chelsea 3-1 to claim the International Champions Cup.
The Manchester United star – who told former team-mate Nani he will finish his career in the MLS – crashed home an arrowing 25-yard free-kick after goals from Marcelo and Ramires for the first of his two strikes.
But it was his second finish, a bullet close-range header that Ronaldo pulled out the first version of his ‘Sii’ celebration, minus the swivel.
The winger made headlines for screaming the chant, which simply means ‘yes’ in Spanish, when he picked up the Ballon d’Or in 2015.
In the same interview, Ronaldo also admitted that Portugal legend Eusebio would be the one player who he wanted to play alongside in his career.

Arsenal in talks with Roma over Ainsley Maitland-Niles loan transfer in January as Jose Mourinho targets midfielder

AINSLEY MAITLAND-NILES could be set for a January loan move to Roma after ‘contact’ has reportedly been made with Arsenal. A move to Everton in the summer failed to materialise after he angrily took to social media expressing his intentions to play regular football.

And after limited opportunities during the first half of the season, ESPN report that Roma are keen on a January move for the 24-year-old.
Club sporting director Tiago Pinto is claimed to favour an initial six-month loan deal, with the option of making it a permanent transfer.
A four-year contract has been touted, although negotiations for a future permanent fee are yet to progress.
A move to Jose Mourinho’s Roma would make him the second Englishman, after Tammy Abraham, to swap London for the Italian capital.
Everton though are still thought to maintain their interest, and could rival Roma for Maitland-Niles’ signature.
He has not played for Arsenal since November 20 and is said to be open to a move in order to pursue his career elsewhere.

He’s started just twice in the Premier League so far this campaign, and twice in the Carabao Cup.
In total he’s played 132 times for the club since joining the academy at the age of just six.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta praised Maitland-Niles earlier this season after clear-the-air talks saw the five-cap England international stay at the club.
Maitland-Niles was forced to train on his own after writing on Instagram: “All I wanna do is go where I’m wanted and where I’m gonna play @arsenal.”
But matters were calmed, and Arteta gushed: “I see a different player in terms of his urgency, his commitment and the clarity in his play and purpose.
“Since we made the decision I was clear with what I was seeing, I wanted him to stay because he was going to be useful.
“He has a huge talent which is he is versatile enough to adapt to any position on the pitch.”
Now though his time with the North Londoners could be coming to an end.

Littlehales landed one of his first gigs in football when he wrote to Sir Alex Ferguson and offered his services.
The Manchester United chief enlisted the help of the former bed company director to help with Gary Pallister’s back problem.
Twenty years on and Littlehales is now helping advise some of the biggest names in world sport.
Red Devils ace Ronaldo used to need a decent rest after Fergie let United’s stars kick the forward to toughen him up.
And the 36-year-old proved a sponge for sleep advice when then Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti invited Littlehales to come and work with Los Blancos.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was told to take five 90-minute sleeps a day and sleep on fresh sheets in the foetal position.
During his Madrid days, he was the only player awarded access to their customised sleeping pod at their training centre, meaning that the forward napped alone.

Ronaldo also stops staring at screens an hour and a half before bed.
Research shows the blue light emitted keeps your brain ticking during sleep by suppressing sleep hormone melatonin.
Speaking to the Independent, Littlehales said: “Anyone who has ever worked with Ronaldo knows that if you have a discussion in the corner of the room, he will come over and ask what you are talking about.
“I was invited to Real Madrid when Carlo Ancelotti became manager.
“I was standing on the edge of the training pitch, talking to the Madrid staff, when Ronaldo ran over.
“He had been training all day and you would have expected him to run straight to the dressing room for a shower but he asked what we were discussing.
“He was interested in what I was trying to do because as an athlete he has always invested in himself.
The only thing he is concerned with is: does it work for him?Nick Littlehales
“From what I have learned from working with him, Ronaldo is not interested in fad diets, he is not interested in copying others.
“The only thing he is concerned with is: does it work for him?”
Former Chelsea ace Michael Essien once claimed he needed 14 hours of sleep a day to ensure he was at his powerful and energetic best in games.
And 15-time tennis Grand Slam winner Pete Sampras would insist on pristine new sheets every night and banned his wife from even touching him once he got into bed.
But Littlehales says the key to a good night is sleeping in a mattress with just TEN CENTIMETRES of foam. Aside from his work with football and rugby league clubs, Littlehales has also advised golden British cycling couple Laura and Jason Kenny.
He added: “Why, when you go camping and start sleeping on a thinner mattress, do you wake up feeling fantastic?
“I’ve been working with Team Sky for a number of years and during every Tour de France, Giro d’Italia or Vuelta a Espana, we go ahead to the hotels making sure the cyclists sleep on exactly the same mattress every night.
“All you need is ten centimetres of foam.”

Arsenal transfer target Dusan Vlahovic equals Cristiano Ronaldo record for most Serie A goals in year with ONE game left

DUHAN VLAHOVIC is clearly not been put off his stride by speculation regarding his future after the striker netted yet again in Serie A at the weekend. The Fiorentina forward scored in his side’s 2-2 draw against Sassuolo, and in doing so equalled Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for most Serie A goals in a calendar year.

The striker equalled Ronaldo’s record of 33 Serie A goals in a calendar yearCredit: Getty
Vlahovic’s goal was his 33rd strike in 2021, equalling the record set by Ronaldo just 12 months ago.
The record could yet be broken though, with Vlahovic having ONE game left in 2021 to become the stand alone Serie A record holder for goals in a calendar year.
That game is against Verona on Wednesday, while interestingly the other goal in Fiorentina’s 2-2 draw with Sassuolo was scored by Gunners loanee Lucas Torreira.
Against Verona Vlahovic will bid to go one better than CR7 managed in 2020 before the Italian top flight’s two-week winter break.
And Arsenal chiefs are sure to be watching on with keen interest.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for 21-year-old Serbian sensation Vlahovic, who has now scored 18 goals in 20 games this season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s future is up in the air after he was stripped as club captain, while Alexandre Lacazette is out-of-contract in the summer.
It leaves the Gunners in need of reinforcements up front, with Eddie Nketiah also set to move on.
And Fiorentina hitman Vlahovic could be the man Mikel Arteta turns to.
Vlahovic’s current Fiorentina deal expires in 18-months, and the Italians will be wary of losing the striker for a cut-price fee.
A £68million asking price has been reported for the potentially record-breaking striker.
The Gunners though are set to have a fight on their hands for his signature.
Vlahovic has been linked with a host of Europe’s top clubs, including Arsenal’s bitter rivals Spurs.
Fellow Premier League clubs Liverpool and Manchester City are also rumoured to be interested.
Elsewhere Serie A giants Juventus are monitoring his situation, with links also to Spain in the form of Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal ‘want Juventus double transfer for Arthur and Dejan Kulusevski’ with Aaron Ramsey also available

MIKEL ARTETA is reportedly eyeing a double swoop for Juventus pair Arthur and Dejan Kulusevski. Arsenal are targeting reinforcements in the January window, despite spending over £150million in the summer.

Contact has been made regarding the signing of Kulusevski, while talks over Arthur could begin in the coming weeks, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.
Reports emerged earlier this month that Arsenal chiefs were preparing to fly out to Turin to thrash out negotiations for the capture of Kulusevski.
Arteta is hoping to clinch the exciting forward for a cut-price £25million plus £4.2m in add-ons.
However, Juventus are thought to be holding out for a fee closer to £34m.
The 21-year-old has fallen out of favour under Max Allegri and largely been restricted to cameos off the bench this campaign.
It’s a mighty fall from grace for Serie A’s Best Young Player in 2019-20, with a move now looking increasingly likely.

Arthur too has played nothing more than a bit-part role for Allegri this season.
The Brazilian midfielder joined Juve for a reported £63million from Barcelona last year, but has played just 101 minutes of Serie A action this campaign.
Arthur has been forced to play second fiddle to Manuel Locatelli and Rodrigo Bentancur in Allegri’s midfield.
And the Gunners are said to be keen on a move for the 25-year-old as well as Kulusevski, with Juve willing to sell.
Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny are both set to jet off to the Africa Cup of Nations at the start of January, leaving Arteta in need of midfield reinforcements.
The Spaniard could even choose to complete his Juventus raid with a move for former player Aaron Ramsey.
The Welshman has played even less Serie A football than Arthur, just 98 minutes so far this season, and may even have his contract TERMINATED by Juve.
Ramsey has been put up for transfer by the Italian giants, with mega-rich Newcastle rumoured to be monitoring his situation.

Ex-Manchester United defender Smalling then flicked home with a header of himself to open the scoring.
Abraham, who signed from Chelsea in the summer, has scored ten goals in his 22 appearances this season.
Roma currently sit sixth in Serie A, 12 points ahead of league leaders Inter Milan, who thumped them 3-0.
An under-fire Mourinho said before the game: “The thing I want to make clear for the 100th time is this: Obviously I would really like to be fighting for different targets, but I am really pleased to be here.
“I want to make that very clear. I am very happy to be at Roma, to be leading a very different project to the others I have had in my career.
“I am very, very happy. And there is no doubt that I am giving everything I have to this battle. I am really happy here.”

Roma lost their last match to Inter, and Mourinho pointed to the Italian champion’s far superior team and Roma’s ‘absentees’.
He said: “Inter are better than us on a good day. Inter are objectively better than us.
“This became an extremely difficult match tonight because of absentees.
“They finished 29 points above us last season. We had three big chances, two of which came at 0-0.” More

Inter Milan manager Inzaghi slips down icy stairs after win over Cagliari with quick-thinking pal on hand to catch him

INTER MILAN boss Simone Inzaghi lost his footing and slipped down the club’s icy stairs following his team’s 4-0 thumping of Cagliari. But luckily for Inzaghi, a member of his coaching staff was on hand to help him to his feet instantly.

The Inter manager seemed to be unfazed by the fall as he continued to walk towards the dressing room with minimal assistance from his pal.
Inzaghi’s robustness looked to have been transferred to his Inter squad on a chilly night at the San Siro as they made light work of their opponents.
There were no slips or trips from the reigning champions who secured their fifth win on the trot last night to sit comfortably at the summit of the Serie A table.
The Nerazzurri were too hot to handle and sunk a powerless Cagliari side who could only watch in despair as they were sunk by a Lautaro Martinez brace, an Alexis Sanchez volley and a screamer by Hakan Calhanoglu.
Martinez could’ve snagged a hat-trick but his penalty attempt was thwarted as Inter ran riot with 15 shots on target.
Ex-Manchester United flop Alexis Sanchez was singled out for praise along with Joaquin Correa who was injured during the game.

Inzaghi had been worried how his side would respond after they lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League last week but they bounced back just as he hoped.
He said after the game to DAZN, reported by Football Italia: “The lads did really well. I had asked for concentration and focus, as I saw this weekend so many big clubs struggle after European games.
“I knew Cagliari would be organised and we needed the right approach. I congratulated them at half-time for their attitude, as although it was only 1-0, they had the right performance and we just needed to convert more of those chances.
“Whenever I rotate the squad, I get a strong response from whoever steps in. Alexis Sanchez is getting better every day, Correa was doing well until the injury, so everyone delivers when called upon.”

Inzaghi will hope his Inter squad can keep up this rich vein of form into the New Year when they’ll take on Liverpool in the Champions League last 16.
Inter had initially been drawn against Ajax in the next round of the European competition but the draw had to be re-done after Uefa botched the original one.
Following Uefa’s cock-up, Inzaghi’s troops will have to contend with a ruthless Liverpool side who knocked out their neighbours AC Milan in the group stages. More
