Mourinho is on the cusp of creating history after recently equalling Sir Alex Ferguson’s record of 106 European wins in the Champions League era.
Roma beat HJK Helsinki 3-0 in the Europa League last week as the Italians bounced back with a win following their defeat away at Ludogorets.
The 59-year-old, who guided Romas to the inaugural Europa Conference League last season, has declared he remains hungry for success.
Speaking at the Quinas de Ouro event, Mourinho opened up on his time in management having started out in charge of Benfica in 2000.

He said: “These 22 years have passed quickly, but I want to continue.
“I feel good, I feel strong, motivated, I like winning, I hate losing, nothing has changed.
“The colour of my hair, yes, even the wrinkles, but I want to go on.
“Not for another 22 years, as there is no time, but for a few more years.”

Mourinho also claimed his side exceeded expectations last campaign as he underlined his desire for more success this season.
Though he highlighted how Roma, who sit in sixth spot in Serie A, only spent a meagre £6.1million in the summer transfer window when they snapped up right-back Zeki Celik from Lille.
Though they did bring in the likes of Paulo Dybala, Andrea Belotti and Nemanja Matic on free transfers.
Mourinho remarked: “Last season we did what no one expected, this year we’ll try to do better.
“We don’t have the same economic potential as our rivals.
“We had a €7m [£6.1m] transfer market, but we have quality, passion, many people who like to work together, which is an important thing, and then at the end of the season we will see.” More

Arsenal could return for Manuel Locatelli in shock transfer move after Italy star’s struggling start at Juventus

ARSENAL could reportedly reignite their interest in Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli after failing to sign him last year. The 24-year-old snubbed a switch to the Emirates following Euro 2020 as he opted instead to link up with the Old Lady from Sassuolo.

Locatelli linked up with Juve on an initial two-year loan, with the Serie A giants obligated to turn his temporary stay into a permanent transfer for £30million.
But he has struggled to live up to his billing in Turin, and it has been claimed that he could be facing an uncertain future at the Allianz Stadium.
According to Calciomercato, Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri has been left underwhelmed by the player since his arrival.
And this has led to speculation over whether he could soon be departing the club, with Paul Pogba to replace him in the line-up once the Frenchman is fully fit.

The news outlet stated that should he fail to convince Allegri and the board in the next few months, Juventus wouldn’t stand in his way of departing.
And they have said that Arsenal could be willing to return to the table for Locatelli where they would be prepared to take a gamble on him.
It has been reported how the North London outfit were ‘on the footballer’s trail for a long time’ prior to him joining Juve from Sassuolo.
Arsenal could now look to make a swoop to sign Locatelli at the second time of asking next summer.

Calciomercato refused to confirm whether there have been any talks between Arsenal or Juve for Locatelli.
Gunners gaffer Mikel Arteta is known to be in the market for a new midfielder having failed to bring in Aston Villa ace Douglas Luiz on deadline day.
The Villans knocked back three bids by Arsenal for the Brazilian, with Arteta desperate to sign cover for Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny.
With Luiz in the final year of his contract, Arsenal could look to snap him up in January or wait until the end of the campaign to land him on a free transfer.
But they know they face competition from Liverpool in the race to secure his services. More

Juventus in TURMOIL as Allegri fights for job, Ultras turn on Bonucci and even players are laying into crisis-club

JUVENTUS are suffering their biggest crisis in more than a decade with manager Max Allegri and captain Leandro Bonucci at the brunt of the chaos. The Italian giants sit eighth in the Serie A table after just two wins from their opening seven matches.

They have also lost both Champions League games they’ve played so far this season against Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica.
According to Calcio Mercato, Allegri is set for crunch talks with Juve’s board on Friday as pressure intensifies over his position at the club.
He managed to secure them fourth place and Champions League football last season.
But their inability to kick on from that could leave him in a perilous situation despite his five Serie A titles in a row between 2015 and 2019.

Allegri was given a police escort back to his car after their defeat to Monza at the weekend.
But he isn’t the only Juve star feeling the heat.
Skipper Bonucci has been ripped apart by his OWN SUPPORTERS.
The Juventus Ultras released a statement earlier this week in which they slammed the Italian centre-back.

It read: “Leonardo Bonucci HAS NEVER BEEN A LEADER AND NEVER WILL BE: neither at Inter, nor at Treviso, neither at Pisa, nor at Bari, nor at Milan, nor at Juventus and like him the others who support him.
“In this particular moment of general confusion where both among the players and in Juventus and in the corners, we are witnessing a moment of total anarchy where anyone who wants to, in turn, stands as connoisseur, leader, leader and manager without who has the charisma and not even the recognition of the people or those who have known the environment for years.
“If there are hierarchical scales, there will be a reason: a good soldier is not necessarily a good leader.”
It went on to add: “Bringing professional players as sacrificial victims to watch the curve while they whistle and insult them, creating legitimacy for the contestation one month before the start of the season is SIMPLY ABSURD.
“The result can only be absurd. the formation of a weak group full of negativity and victimization. Exactly the opposite of what is needed in sport, especially at these levels and in a team sport.
“Their profession and their knowledge. You are doing more harm to your teammates and to the team than any coach, trainer and/or manager who is incapable.”
    PLAYERS PILE IN
Juventus have also been criticised by two players who found a way out of the club in the summer.
Midfielder Denis Zakaria, who joined Chelsea on loan, has accused Allegri of failing to establish a relationship with him.
The Swiss star said: “I’ll find myself better in England. Allegri? We didn’t talk much.”
And Matthijs de Ligt, who sealed a move to Bayern Munich in July, claims Juve were not ambitious enough in Europe.
The Netherlands international said: “Bayern want to win the Champions League, an ambition that I felt less in Turin.”
Juve have not won the Champions League since 1996, losing in the final in 1997, 1998, 2003, 2015 and 2017.

At domestic level, they won nine Serie A titles in a row between 2012 and 2020.
