But the Celtic diehard admits he misses Scotland every day and plans to settle back home when he hangs up his boots.
At 23, the left-back’s best years are still ahead of him as he continues to boost his profile in the English Premier League.
However, speaking to Arsenal’s matchday programme ahead of the win over Leeds, Tierney was asked about life after football.
He said: “I have thought about it, but it’s hard to say with it being so far away.

“It’s not crossed my mind to do any coaching badges or anything like that yet.
“Some of the older players talk about it, and doing the qualifications, it’s probably something you think more about when you get over 30, but before that it’s all about your playing career.
“Well when I finish playing I’ll be back in Scotland, no doubt going back to my old life of supporting Celtic home and away again!

“I’ll be back there doing something anyway.

“I’ll definitely live in Scotland when I finish playing, 100 per cent. I miss it every day.”

The France Under-21 starlet has bagged 78 goals in 156 appearances for the Parkhead side.
And with less than 18 months remaining on his contract at Celtic, talk of Edouard’s next destination has ramped up.
Bookmakers Betfair have Serie A outfit Roma as the leading contenders to secure his signature at 3/1.
The Italian side have been previously linked with the classy French forward.

With his deal expiring in June 2022 – a number of clubs are rumoured to be upping their interest in the £25million man.
Fellow Serie A side AC Milan are also available at a short price in the betting market, with Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester also monitoring Edouard’s situation.
The Foxes sit at 6/1, with Moussa Dembele’s old club Lyon priced at 8/1 and Europa League master Sevilla outsiders at the minute.
Last month, Edouard signed to the London-based Stellar Group after dropping his previous agent.

Arsenal were credited with a pursuit of the striker during the 2020 summer transfer window – and they could come back in for him.
The Gunners previously studied the possibility of signing Edouard last summer, but were put off by Celtic’s reported £40m valuation.
While they’re not on the bookies’ odds, Mikel Arteta’s chances of a swoop were boosted by Edouard’s agency switch.

Hamilton sack commentator after he said he went for half-time ‘jobby’ and had to ‘squeeze a bit’ in crude toilet joke

RAGING Hamilton Academical have sacked a member of their commentary team for telling fans he went for a half-time JOBBY.
Bobby Bulloch had been co-commentating on last night’s 2-1 home defeat to Ross County alongside Tony Haggerty.

Hamilton have quickly moved to axe the pundit

A contractor used by the club on summarising / co-commentary duties overstepped the mark this evening with a very poor attempt at humour. The club didn’t find this funny, and the person will not be used again. Our apologies for this.
    — Hamilton Accies FC (@acciesfc) February 3, 2021

And he set social media alight after revealing a little bit too much information about his trip to the loo – live on the club’s pay-per-view TV channel.
Bulloch missed the early stages of the second-half but soon apologised to viewers for failing to turn his microphone back on, explaining he had gone for “a wee jobby” – Scottish slang for a number two.
He didn’t stop there, further revealing he had to “squeeze quite a bit.”
The full commentary can be heard in the video above.

However, Accies chiefs failed to see the funny side as they confirmed last night that the pundit had been axed with immediate effect.
In a statement, they said: “A contractor used by the club on summarising / co-commentary duties overstepped the mark this evening with a very poor attempt at humour.
“The club didn’t find this funny and the person will not be used again. Our apologies for this.”

    FULL TRANSCRIPT

BB: “So sorry about the…I hadn’t pressed the button, I went away for a jobby at half-time, excuse my term of language.

“I’ve not pressed the wee button when I came back. So apologies to anybody who hasn’t heard me this second half.”
TH: “Are you speaking in rhyming vernacular there?”
TH: “Apologies if you deem that bad language viewers…”
BB: “Yeah, sorry, it was just a wee bit of poop and I was a wee bit late back over because I had to squeeze quite a bit…
“Sorry, I’ll just change the subject and get back to the match but I forgot to press my wee button, so I’m delighted to be back.”

It capped off a dire evening for the co-host, who was late for the game after turning up at IBROX by accident.

Accies TV usually run their commentary operations for away games through the QTV studio in Govan.
But Hamilton were hosting Ross County at home at the Fountain of Youth Stadium.
It’s believed blundering Bulloch thought the Scottish Premiership fixture was nearly 200 miles north in Dingwall.
That forced Hamilton media man Marcus Nash to fill in for the first 10 minutes of the match before Bulloch eventually arrived.

US-born Celtic starlet Cameron Harper ‘agrees deal’ to join New York Red Bulls ahead of MLS season

CELTIC starlet Cameron Harper has agreed a deal which will take him to New York Red Bulls during this window, according to reports.
Various outlets are reporting that a fee has been agreed to take the 19-year-old American – who started a recent Hoops match against Hibs – back home.

Harper made his first start against Hibs

The MLS transfer window doesn’t officially open until February 10, ahead of the new season which is scheduled to begin a few weeks later, and it doesn’t close until May 4.
The 19-year-old – who can play through the middle or out wide – had been in discussions over a pre-contract.
But the Red Bulls are believed to want the player in as soon as possible ahead of the season starting and the player is thought to have agreed a multi-year deal.
He becomes the latest promising Parkhead talent to leave after Liam Morrison and Barry Hepburn joined Bayern Munich, Liam Hughes to Liverpool and Josh Adam to Manchester City.

Meanwhile, James Forrest will hand the Hoops a boost when he returns to training next week.
The Scotland winger has been out of action for the last four months.
Forrest, 29, underwent surgery on an ankle injury and has been doing his rehab behind the scenes.

Rangers confirm transfer of Nnamdi Ofoborh from Bournemouth on pre-contract with midfielder first going on Wycombe loan

RANGERS have confirmed the pre-contract signing of Bournemouth midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh.
The 21-year-old has signed a four-year deal but will spend the rest of the season on loan at Wycombe Wanderers.

He will then move to Ibrox in the summer, with Gers due to pay a training compensation after Ofoborh rejected a new Cherries contract.
Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson said: “We look forward to welcoming Nnamdi to our group in the summer. We are extremely impressed by his qualities and he is a player that has real progression in him.
“He has a positive and determined personality and is very much looking forward to becoming a Rangers player at the end of this season.
“In the meantime we are really pleased that Nnamdi will play week in week out until the end of the season in the Championship at Wycombe, a club he excelled at previously under Gareth Ainsworth.”

    GET THEM IN QUICK
It comes after Gers pushed through deals to land Jack Simpson and Scott Wright for the title run-in.
The Bournemouth defender and Aberdeen attacker had signed pre-contract agreements to move to Ibrox in the summer.
But Steven Gerrard was desperate to get them on board immediately and they beat the midnight deadline to sign the pair. Both players have penned four-and-ahalf year deals which will keep them at Ibrox until the summer of 2025.
Rangers forked out £200,000 to bring in 23-year-old Wright now rather than wait another five months.

The money will be deducted from the £350,000 Aberdeen had already agreed to pay for Scotland Under-21 star Ross McCrorie.
McCrorie was initially on loan until the end of the current campaign but his move will now become permanent.
Simpson, who has been a standout for Bournemouth in the Championship this term, flew into Glasgow yesterday.
The 24-year-old completed the formalities of his switch, having already passed a medical and sorted the terms of his new contract last week.

Gerrard has been a long-time admirer of the left-sided centre-half, who was an England Under-21 international.
Simpson and Wright could both feature against St Johnstone tomorrow night as Rangers attempt to keep their unbeaten Premiership record intact.
Wright will fill the voids left by Jordan Jones’ loan move to Sunderland and Brandon Barker’s temporary switch to Oxford United.

Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh call on Rangers’ Morelos to be ‘MACHETED into pieces’ and fed to seagulls in sick rant

TRAINSPOTTING author Irvine Welsh sparked outrage by saying Rangers ace Alfredo Morelos should be “macheted into small pieces” and “consumed by seagulls”.
Welsh was appearing on Hibs TV’s coverage of their 1-0 defeat to Rangers.

No action was taken against Alfredo Morelos for this incident

Irvine Welsh, right, with Hibs TV host David Tannner

His words came after Rangers’ Colombian striker escaped any action when he stood on Hibs defender Ryan Porteous.
Morelos proved to be the matchwinner as the Ibrox side maintained their 23-point advantage over Celtic at the top of the table.
Welsh is well-known for his extravagant use of language, but angry Gers fans complained on social media – and even took the matter to Ofcom.
The communications watchdog said they had received a total of 14 complaints over “comments made by Irvine Welsh”, although the comments on a commercial club TV channel strictly fell outside their remit.

We told you how Welsh sparked fury amongst Rangers fans by referring to Morelos as a “sticky bun” – ryhming slang for the offensive term “h**”.
But SunSport has now seen the FULL video of the exchange – which leaves host David Tanner and Hibs ladies player Joelle Murray laughing on nervously.
Welsh said: “Morelos should have been off. That was outrageous, like.
“It was terrible sort of stamping there from the sticky bun.

“He should have been shown the red for that, no question about that at all, had it been Porteous he would have been off.”

    Another angle of the incident

Irvine Welsh pictured at Easter Road
Then when Tanner asks ‘”should the referee not have seen that?”, Welsh responds: “Yeah where is he?
“Morelos should basically be macheted into small pieces and sent in various packets to different corners of the globe for a challenge like that.
“And kind of consumed by seagulls.”
Rangers, Hibs and Irvine Welsh have been contacted for comment – with the Easter Road side APOLOGISING for the affair yesterday.
Gers SLO Greg Marshall expects Hampden chiefs to launch a probe into Welsh’s comments.
He tweeted: “We are disappointed at the comments made in relation to Alfredo and our club.
“Hibs have apologised to the club today. Nevertheless, we are sure these comments will be investigated by the football authorities.”
    OLD FIRM FURY
It isn’t the first time Welsh has sparked controversy amongst Glasgow football fans.
Both Celtic and Rangers hit out at him two years ago after he launched a blistering attack on the Old Firm over their commitment to stamping out sectarianism.
He said: “It has to do with the Old Firm and the power of those institutions not really being invested in change.
“Why would they be? Rangers without sectarianism are Partick Thistle, basically. And Celtic without sectarianism are Hibs.
“They’re invested in that, and it serves them as enterprises.
“You have to be able to shut down grounds and stadiums where singing takes place.
“That’s principally the way to do it because clubs won’t change until there is a financial incentive to do so.”
Celtic slammed Welsh’s remarks at the time, with a spokesman saying: “These are tired and absurd accusations which, in relation to Celtic Football Club, have no foundation whatsoever.

“Celtic, as a club open to all since 1888, has always campaigned against prejudice and promoted tolerance and diversity.
A Rangers spokesperson also hit out: “It does not help when individuals, who have no idea of the time and effort Rangers commits to engaging with the local and wider communities, decide to pontificate on this subject.
“If they would just come and witness for themselves how seriously we regard this issue they might not be so willing to offer vacuous opinions.”

Celtic to snap up Preston star Ben Davies with Neil Lennon pushing for transfer this month as contract runs down

But due to injury problems in defence, Neil Lennon is pushing to bring the 25-year-old in this month instead.
An agreement will have to be thrashed out if that is to happen though and is by no means guaranteed.
Celtic will be without key central defender Christopher Jullien for the next four months due to a knee injury.
Meanwhile, Jeremie Frimpong has completed his move to German giants Bayer Leverkusen.

The young Celtic right-back has sealed the lucrative transfer just days before Monday’s deadline day – with the fee believed to be worth a whopping £11.5million.
The Dutchman, 20, has penned a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit that runs until summer 2025.
Speaking about his move to Germany, he told Leverkusen’s official website: “It’s a great opportunity to play in one of the best European leagues.
“I’m really excited about the Bundesliga and, of course especially about this club.

“Bayer 04 Leverkusen recently played regularly in the Champions League and the Europa League.

Rangers complete pre-contract transfer deal for Jack Simpson after Steven Gerrard’s pursuit of Bournemouth ace

RANGERS have announce the signing of Bournemouth ace Jack Simpson on a pre-contract.
The Light Blues have moved once more in this window to secure another player for the future.

Simpson, 24, becomes the second player this week to commit to a future deal at the club, following on from Aberdeen ace Scott Wright.
The Cherries defender will team up with Steven Gerrard & Co in the summer once his contract expires on the south coast.
The centre-back has Premier League experience with Bournemouth, and this season, has played an important role in their bid to be promoted back to England’s top flight.
As product of the club’s Academy, Simpson made his debut for then-manager Eddie Howe’s side in a 3-1 EFL Cup win over Middlesbrough in October 2017 – a game in which he opened the scoring.

His first taste of Premier League action came that season against Manchester City at the Etihad.
His run of games in the team also included 90 minutes in a 1-0 clean sheet victory over Champions League finalists Tottenham.
Commenting on his signing, Sporting Director, Ross Wilson, said: “Jack is a player that Steven (Gerrard) and I have discussed a number of times in recent months.
“We are always looking at how we can improve and Jack fits the profile that we are looking to add as we develop and move the squad forward again.

“His contractual situation at Bournemouth provided a natural and attractive moment for us to pursue Jack’s signature.
“It has been well publicised that he has been a much-coveted player south of the border but from our first discussion with Jack, we could see how the opportunity to join Rangers was one that was very appealing to him.
“The situation with pre contract negotiations is never an easy one and I extend my thanks to Richard Hughes, my counterpart at Bournemouth, for how he has handled our interest in Jack.”
SunSport told you last weekend how Rangers had agreed a pre-contract deal for Simpson’s Cherries team-mate Nnamdi Ofoborh.
However, the midfielder, aged 21, has yet to be officially announced by the Ibrox side.

Bournemouth boss Jason Tindall yesterday said that both Simspon and Ofoborh could be announced by Rangers within 48-hours, so confirmation could come soon.
He said: “Obviously the Rangers thing is still going on.
“I think Jack’s made his mind up in terms of that’s where he wants to go and play his football.
“I think that one is pretty much going to happen. Nnamdi I think is in a similar position.
“I’ve got such a big squad to choose from. The likes of Jaidon Anthony, Gav Kilkenny and the other young guys – I think with their future firmly here at the football club, sometimes you have to give that priority.”
