‘Most Celtic thing I’ve ever seen’ – Supporter transforms car into ultimate Hoopsmobile and fans all say the same thing

MANY fans’ commitment to their football club can never be doubted.Whether it be following their team home and away, week in and week out to all four corners of the country or buying strips and merchandise year after year.
The Hoops daft punter turned the car into a shrine
The car’s registration paid tribute to the Hoops but also stung their rivals
But one Celtic fan has left fellow supporters stunned after a video emerged online of their car after giving it the ultimate makeover.
The Toyota MR2 Spyder has left Celtic fans around the world in awe as this Hoops fan took his Parkhead love-in to a new level as it showed off a mod job that any Hoops fan would be proud of.
The video showing off the car started off with back of the motor from afar with a personalised registration plate – hailing the Parkhead side with the plate reading ‘1888 CFC.’
The video, thought to have been taken in America, then panned round to the driver’s side of the car which is emblazoned with the green and white colours of the club as well as pying tribute to the club’s Lisbon Lion heroes with a transfer of the European Cup trophy that they won in 1967.
The footage then pans round to the front of the car and shows the bonnet, which pays tribute to the club’s quadruple treble achievement between 2016 and 2020.
The back of the car also pays tribute to the two 9-in-a-row runs that the Parkhead side went on between 1966-1974 and then from 2012-2020.
The car paid tribute to the club’s successes
The Celtic love affair doesn’t stop there as the Hoops-mad car owner proceeds to show us the inside of the motor where the back seats have head rest covers of classic Celtic tops.

The front seats have Celtic crests on the racing seats before the besotted owner pans round to show a dashboard with old match tickets stuck on and a banner with the popular chant ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone.’
The video left fans impressed with one saying: “Now that’s a car HH”
    Another said: “Bhoyota”
Another proclaimed the car was: “Thee most Celtic thing I’ve ever seen”
However the Celtic mad owner couldn’t resist a cheeky dig at arch rivals Rangers.
The car’s registration plate includes the term “f*** the Huns” and “Jelly and Ice Cream” pointing fun at the club’s liquidation in 2012.
Inside the car there was also a sticker of Hoops legend Scott Brown doing his famous ‘Broony’ celebration in front of El-Hadji Diouf.
The famous ‘Broony’ celebration is on show
Some Rangers fans couldn’t help but weigh in on the video, giving their responses to the shrine.
One said: “That is soooo embarrassing.”
The bonnet is emblazoned with the Celtic crest
The gear stick is a green skull
Another quipped: “At the end of the day – it’s an old Toyota.”
While a third said: “Only took 18 months to get all the 10IAR sticker’s off it.”

Chelsea line up shock transfer swoop for Celtic right-back Josip Juranovic – with Man Utd also tracking £2.5m Croatian

CHELSEA are in line to seal a shock transfer swoop for Josip Juranovic. The Celtic star, 26, is being tracked by a number of clubs including Atletico Madrid and Manchester United with Chelsea now the latest to register their interest.

Juranovic would come into Thomas Tuchel’s squad to bolster the right-hand side of their defence.
Chelsea have seen a number of defenders depart the club this summer, most notably Antonio Ruidger and Andreas Christensen, while Levi Colwill recently secured a loan move to Brighton.
The Blues are also set to see the back of Marcos Alonso, with the Spaniard set to join Barcelona, although they managed to ward off the Spanish side’s interest in Cesar Azpilicueta.
The Croatian would cost Chelsea at least £15million according to 90min.

Juranovic would likely represent a far cheaper deal than the likes of Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries or Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters.
The aforementioned interest of Atletico and Man Utd could make a deal somewhat tricky to complete, but Chelsea have reportedly been putting in the ground work behind the scenes for some weeks.
Juranovic signed for Celtic in a £2.5m deal from Legia Warsaw last season, and enjoyed great success as Celtic reclaimed the Scottish Premiership ahead of rivals Rangers.
Chelsea have already spent nearly £170m on new players this summer, and could see their expenditure far exceed £200m if they agree a deal to sign £84m-rated Leicester defender Wesley Fofana.

The Blues are also said to be tracking Barcelona right-back Sergino Dest and are close to agreeing a fee for Frenkie de Jong.
Former Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also wanted by Tuchel to replenish the club’s forward line which has seen Timo Werner and Romulu Lukaku depart to their former clubs. More

Rangers and Celtic could be freed to join cross-border league by landmark ‘Bosman mark II’ legal case

CELTIC and Rangers could finally be handed the opportunity to move to a new cross-border league as a result of an upcoming court case in LUXEMBOURG.Luxembourg minnows FC Swift Hesperange have filed a lawsuit against UEFA and the Luxembourg Football Federation after being hampered in an attempt to join a cross-border league – and this could have a direct impact on both Celtic and Rangers.
The possibility of moving leagues has been the talk of the terraces for decadesCredit: kenny ramsay
The club have filed a claim with the Tribunal D’Arrondisement in Luxembourg insisting UEFA and their national FA are hampering their prospects of growth via ‘rules prohibiting clubs from creating and running transnational competitions’.
Should the case be successful the impact of the outcome could have a direct impact on both sides of the Old Firm and lead to them joining up with other leagues across the continent.
That’s the opinion of lawyer Jean-Louis Dupont who was one of the brains behind the renowned Bosman ruling.
Speaking on the case the Belgian Lawyer told the Daily Mail: “Swift and its sponsor, Leopard, are ambitious.
“The club had already complained publicly in the past regarding some FLF and UEFA rules – in particular, the homegrown players rules, that disadvantage the clubs from small countries.
“But their voice was not heard. They decided to make it heard in court.
“Celtic and Rangers are great clubs. But how much do they get for their media rights compared to the smallest (English) Premier League club?
“And this is the lack of domestic incomes that determines negatively their competitiveness on the European stage.
    Most read in Football
“Clubs will not “move”. But clubs from small countries would be entitled to produce their domestic football in a larger territory, in order to match the production power of the big leagues.”
In 2020, Aberdeen, Celtic, Hibs, Hearts and Rangers were informed of plans for a 20-team competition featuring clubs from Scotland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and the Republic of Ireland.
But these plans hit the buffers after Celtic chief Dermot Desmond stated that the Parkhead side weren’t interested.
Insisting that cross-border leagues are likely to come sooner rather than later, the man behind the Bosman ruling is convinced that clubs in Scotland, Holland and Scandinavia need to make the jump in order to become more competitive.
He believes that a successful challenge could have positive repercussions in the form of transnational leagues for teams like Celtic, Rangers and other giants from the continent.
He continued: ‘In my view, yes. But in an organised and clever manner, once the ECJ has decided all legal issues.
‘We will have an introductory hearing in the fall in the State Court of Luxembourg and it will be for this judge to decide if she/he refers the case to the ECJ.’
Pressed to put a timescale on the introduction of cross-border leagues he replied: ‘No. But sooner rather than later.’

The pair are seen clapping along together on the new Amazon Prime docuseries, All Or Nothing: Arsenal.
Holding, 26, sings “do do do do do” while Tierney uses a trolley to make the same beat as the drummer at Parkhead.
The tune comes from the song Finder by German house DJ Ninetoes which was an Ibiza hit in 2013.
The duo also perform a bizarre wiggling dance as they are served food at the training ground cafeteria.

It came after the Gunners has earned an away draw last season at Liverpool despite having a man sent off.
Boyhood Hoops fan Tierney was a fans favourite at Celtic Park.
He would start songs in front of the Green Brigade with a megaphone after victories.
We told how Tierney had earlier opened up on the docuseries at his pain at losing pals to suicide and his own mental health struggles since moving to London.
    Most read in The Sun
The ex-Hoops hero told how he was struck by “terrible” homesickness after leaving the Hoops in a £25million switch to the London side three years ago.
And he said he regrets that his tragic friends felt unable to share their personal anguish with him.
On leaving his family and friends to join the English Premier League giants, the Scotland star revealed: “It was hard to start with, I was really struggling.
“Really low point, homesickness was terrible to start with.
“Outside training you had a lot of time to think. I’m not saying I was ever in a bad, bad place where I was suicidal.
“But my friends have been. Two or three of them have committed suicide, lost their life.
“You’re with these people and you don’t know a thing. They’ve not spoke.“So I feel a certain responsibility to try and help as much as I can because I kind of know how it feels to be in a certain place.”

Hearts star Alex Cochrane has objects thrown at him in ugly scenes during derby clash with Hibs

HEARTS star Alex Cochrane was pelted by objects thrown from the crowd during the Edinburgh Derby against Hibs. The unsavoury scenes took place in the 65th minute of the match with the Jambos leading 1-0 thanks to Lawrence Shankland’s first half strike.

The left wing back went over to take a throw-in on the far side of the pitch in front of the Hibs fans.
However, as he went over to collect the ball he had several objects thrown at him.
Items were hurled in Cochrane’s direction, and empty plastic cups could be seen by the side of the pitch.
He appeared to be struck by one small red object and went down clutching his head.
The former Brighton defender then had what appeared to be an entire box of chips thrown at him as he knelt on the ground.
Referee John Beaton was quickly over to usher Cochrane out of the way.
The Sky Sports commentators were left unimpressed by the scenes.
Former Hibs striker Andy Walker, on co-commentary duty, also claimed he’d seen a bottle allegedly thrown at goal scorer Shankland as he celebrated his strike.
    Most read in Football
Ian Crocker said: “This is just ridiculous.
Walker added: “I saw a bottle coming on when Shankland scored his goal.
“It doesn’t matter what they’re throwing, they shouldn’t be throwing anything.
“The players have got to feel safe.
“I hope its just chips and no coins or lighters being thrown at him.”
A number of fans also ran on to the pitch to celebrate Martin Boyle’s last gasp equaliser.
Sky spoke to Hibs chief executive Ben Kensell after the game, who addressed both situations.
He said: “We can’t condone it but sometimes the passions of what happens dictates that.
“There’s things we need to look at. We’d ask our fans to act appropriately.
“There’s a few incidents well look at post match.
“We’ll address them internally but ultimately it’s got to be a safe environment here at Easter Road.”
Hibs also put out a statement after Kensell’s TV appearance, reiterating the club would look into the incidents.
It read: “Hibernian FC is aware of alleged incidents where objects appeared to have been thrown towards Hearts players, pyros being thrown, and pitch incursions.
“These incidents will be reviewed again on the Stadium CCTV and if an incident can be detected and someone identified appropriate action will be taken by the Club.
“The club understands the passion that an Edinburgh Derby brings, and believes it has some of the best supporters in Scotland, but remains committed to providing a safe environment for players, officials and supporters.”

The ex-Celtic star can also been seen dancing in the training room to Status Quo’s ‘Rockin’ All Over the World’ after Arsenal beat local rivals Tottenham 3-1 last September.
As the camera moves away Tierney can be heard shouting “Here we f***** go” in his broad Lanarkshire accent.
Amid all the laughs, Tierney has had an injury plagued time since his move to Arsenal.
And the defender admits he struggles to deal with being on the sidelines.
He says: “When you’re playing every week you just see life as when’s the next game, it’s pressure, pressure, pressure.
“When I’m injured there’s no pressure, it feels weird.
“You just feel like you don’t know where you are, you’re in the middle of nowhere really.”
Meanwhile, Tierney has revealed he’s feeling right at home in London after being struck by homesickness following his move to the Gunners.
The defender now lives with the club’s chief cook and pal Johnny McCallum near to the club’s training centre.
Tierney said: “He can get quite angry sometimes if we get beat, but that’s just passion for you. That’s what he cares about so I stay out his way.”
Tierney says: “Johnny knows if I’m angry, he leaves the food and just bolts.”

‘He has a great name, doesn’t he?’ – Rangers will have to get past MO SALAH to secure their Champions League dream

And they will face a familiar name as Union handed a debut to the 18-year-old namesake of the Liverpool legend in their opening league fixture at Sint-Truiden.
Manager Karel Geraerts admitted: “During his first training sessions with the first team, everyone thought…wow, Mo Salah!
“He has a great name, doesn’t he?
“Our players from England in particular thought it was very amusing. But he’s a good talent and it’s nice to promote players from our youth academy.
“His name always impresses the other team, but he’s used to it by now.
“Mo is his own man and he has shown his talent and character to be promoted to the full squad and he deserved his debut match.
“He’s not in the team just for a laugh, we hope in time he will become a starter.”
Meanwhile, Charlie Nicholas has predicted Rangers will win NOTHING this coming season.

The Scottish Premiership is back this weekend, but it’s LOVE ISLAND that the Hoops hero has been turning his prediction skills to.
Sutton caused a stir on social media last night when, out of nowhere, he posted: “Davide and Ekin Su are a great couple.”
Davide and Ekin su are a great couple…— Chris Sutton (@chris_sutton73) July 24, 2022

They are the current favourites to be crowned the winners of the current series of the ITV2 summer smash hit.
To say it would be a surprise that Sutton watches Love Island would be a bit of an understatement – especially considering his previous comments on the show.
Back in 2017, he branded it a ‘load of rubbish.’
He told The Sportsman: “I’ve got to say. All my boys watch it, right.
“I wham them for it – I mean come on, there are better things than Love Island.
    “What a load of rubbish!”

So after five years, have his sons finally converted their dad into a big Love Island fan?
Maybe not, but it appears he’s seen enough to make his call on who will be winning the £50,000 prize on offer at the end of the series!
A response to his tweet asked Sutton to make his predictions – and the Parkhead favourite duly obliged!
He said: “1. Davide Ekin Su, 2. Luca Gemma, 3. Andrew Tasha.
    “Don’t say I didn’t tell you!”
Celtic fans were clearly surprised by their hero’s venture into Love Island commentary!
One said: “You’re better than that Chris.”
Another asked: “Someone taken your phone Chris?”
A third said: “I didn’t expect this tweet.”
A fourth Hoops fan asked: “You been hacked?”

Plenty of supporters were thrilled by the content – some were even keen for Sutton to provide MORE Love Island insight!
One said: “You’ve made my night, big yin!”
While another quipped: “The modern day Sutton and Larsson.”
Sutton’s attention will be back on the football no doubt as the weekend approaches!
Rangers kick-off their Premiership campaign away at Livingston on Saturday.
It’s Celtic’s turn to get off and running the following day, when they host Aberdeen in Glasgow.
