MAN UTD are no strangers to paying stars large salaries. And their 2021 wage list made interesting reading – with that year’s £73million signing Jadon Sancho leaping to become one of the club’s top earners on £350,000-per-week.

David De Gea topped the list, raking in £375,000 per week – totalling £19.5million a year.
However, it is worth noting their 2022 wage list would see Cristiano Ronaldo leading the way – on a reported £510,000-per-week.
But Sancho did slide in ahead of Paul Pogba, with the Frenchman earning £290,000 per week, before he recently departed to Juventus.
Anthony Martial (£250k), Edinson Cavani (£210k) and Marcus Rashford (£200k) are the others who broke the £200,000-a-week barrier – although Cavani was released last month.
Captain Harry Maguire pockets £190,000 per week while two-time United player-of-the-year Bruno Fernandes gets £180,000.
In fact, 14 first-team players all earn £100,000 or more per week, with the likes of Luke Shaw (£150k) and Fred (120k) next on the list.

The enigmatic Brazilian forward dropped Nike to join rivals Puma and was rewarded with the largest individual sports sponsorship contract in history.

Afterwards Neymar posted on social media: “I grew up watching videos of great football legends such as Pele, Cruyff, Eusebio and Maradona, who each played in Puma.
“For these reasons, from today onward, I have the honour to unite with the brand that helped the biggest legends of football become what they are.”

    2. MESSI, £18M
The second footballer to become a billionaire (the first was Cristiano Ronaldo), Messi is second on the best boot deals of all time.
In 2017 the Barcelona legend, who shocked the world with his transfer to PSG, signed an extension to his boot deal with Adidas – giving him a lifetime contract with the company.
He was the first footballer to release a sub-brand of Adidas boots – the Adidas Messi.
As the years pass, and when Messi finally hangs up his boots, that could be just as lucrative for the forward as the Air Jordan brand Nike created for Michael Jordan.

    3. RONALDO, £15M
As Nike’s prize asset, Ronaldo is their top earner.
However, Neymar’s contract now dwarfs his by £8m.
But Ronaldo can take comfort his deal will pay out more than Neymar’s – being reportedly worth £780m over a lifetime.
Manchester United’s CR7 is only the third athlete to sign a lifetime deal with Nike, along with Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

    4. MBAPPE, £14M
Nike’s poster-boy, in 2019 Kylian Mbappe was subject to a bidding war between his current sponsors and Adidas.
He penned a 10-year deal worth around £140m, which is believed to be active as long as he plays in a top league.
The PSG superstar was reportedly buoyed to join Nike, following in the footsteps of his idol Ronaldo.
He is the one who could challenge Neymar’s position at the top in years to come aged just 23.

    5. BALOTELLI, £5M
In 2014, Italian golden boy Mario Balotelli was on top of his game for AC Milan.
A key member of the Italian national team, he was the country’s best hope of glory.
So when his contract with Nike expired, Puma swooped with a 10-year deal worth around £5m per year.
Now at a crossroads in his career after heading to Adana Demirspor in Turkey, the 31-year-old is not as marketable as he once was.

    6. BALE, £4M
The Welsh wizard, who recently joined LAFC, earned around £18m per year from Real Madrid prior to leaving earlier this summer.

It’s his contract with the German sports manufacturers that is his most lucrative, however, earning Gareth Bale around £4m per annum.

    7. GRIEZMANN, £3.5M
In 2015, Antoine Griezmann extended his boot deal with Puma to the tune of £3.5million-per-year.
In that time, he became a global superstar – leaving Atletico Madrid for Barcelona in a deal worth around £108m – although now he is back in the Spanish capital.
In 2019, to celebrate Griezmann’s 10-year anniversary with Puma, they released his special boot – a limited edition Future 4.1 NETFIT Grizi priced at £229.

    8. POGBA, £3M
The Juventus midfielder is well worth his £3m per year fee Adidas pay him.
Not only does he appear in almost every TV ad the brand brings to our screens, he’s also on every poster advertising the latest Predator boots.
His 10-year deal worth around £30m doesn’t expire till 2024.

Inside Juventus star Paul Pogba’s plush Miami apartment that includes private beach club – and Beckhams as neighbours

IT IS well-known that Juventus star Paul Pogba loves a trip to Miami. And he’ll be able to stay there in comfort and style after purchasing a luxury apartment in the city’s One Thousand Museum building last year.

Designed by the celebrated late British architect Zaha Hadid, One Thousand Museum has become one of the most stylish and desirable living spots in Miami – with a number of superstars having moved in since it opened in 2019.
And among Pogba’s new neighbours will be none other than Red Devils and England legend David Beckham – who famously spends a lot of time in the city running MLS franchise Inter Miami.
Hadid was well-known for her daring, dynamic designs – and has clearly created another masterpiece in downtown Miami.
The Pritzker Award-winning architect, who passed away in 2016, was known for her use of curves – with that trademark visible on the exterior of Pogba’s new pad.
And the interior is even better, with clean, modern, tasteful furnishing a key feature of the midfielder’s new getaway digs.
The Frenchman, 29, and his wife Zulay – as well as their young son – will be even more keen to spend time stateside as they build a home for their young family in Turin following Pogba’s return to Juventus.
And the trio will be able to enjoy a tremendous view over the city and the nearby Museum Park from the dynamic floor-to-ceiling windows – and the spacious terrace.
The living areas, sporting a white theme with some blue decor, is a perfect place to hang out with pals Pharrell Williams and Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler.

And the bathrooms are equally high-class – with Pogba able to relax and enjoy the glorious view.
He will have to remember to water his plants however, with plenty of them dotted around the tastefully decorated condo.
The open floor plan and floor-to-ceiling windows instantly portray a feeling of comfort and ease.
And according to the building’s website, Pogba’s terrace will be totally unique, responding to the “sensual curves of the tower’s sculptural exoskeleton”.
The building is not short of communal treats either – and Pogba may find himself bumping into the Beckhams dining at the Sky Lounge.
He and Zulay will also be able to chill out in the spa, or even take a dip in the 61st floor pool.
They’ll be able to arrive in style on the rooftop helipad, or even make use of the building’s very own private airport when jetting in from Turin.

All that success certainly brought in the dollar, with Mayweather Jr estimated to have a mammoth net worth of $560million in 2022.
Rated as the sixth-highest paid athlete of all time, even after his official retirement he’s raked in the dosh by appearing in lucrative exhibitions against Logan Paul, Conor McGregor, Tenshin Nasukawa and Don Moore.
‘Pretty Boy’ certainly likes to splash out on the finer things in life, with his vast wealth providing a substantial financial safety net for his family.
Mayweather has two biological sons Zion and Koraun, both with tragic former partner and reality TV star Josie Harris.

While adopted son Devion – whose mother is ex-girlfriend Melissa Brim – currently plies his trade in Las Vegas as an entrepreneur.
One profession all three have chosen to avoid is boxing, with Mayweather revealing last year Zion and Koraun have another hobby.
He told The Million Dollaz Worth of Game show: “Well, my two boys they like to smoke weed so I know they ain’t going to box.
“I don’t, that’s what they like, they grown.”
Zion, who turned 21 on March 28, is the fashionista of the family and manages a high-end clothing brand called Philthy Rich Boys.
He keeps his 235k Instagram followers up to date with the latest looks, ranging from luxury t-shirts to basketball shorts.
Much of the merchandise is Mayweather-themed, with the label holding a pop-up shop last year in Miami where punters could win a card signed by the boxer himself.
    ‘ALREADY A MILLIONAIRE..’
Speaking ahead of Mayweather vs Paul in June 2021, Zion told Fight Hype how he was getting involved in event promotion as well as fashion.
He said: “[The shirts] I made, I designed, I printed. It’s just getting shipped out here.
“I promote parties, there are a few other events that I’ve got going and cooking up which will come to light soon.
“I’m still working on perfecting them but you guys will eventually see.”
The influencer was given a taste of the high-life early, with Mayweather gifting him a plush $78,000 Mercedes for his 16th birthday.
While older brother Koraun wasted no time in launching his singing career after graduating from high school in 2018.
He dropped his first single RACK$ under the rap moniker King Koraun just days after leaving West Ranch High School in Stevenson Ranch, California.
    DEBUT ALBUM IN 2020
It deals with his upbringing into extreme wealth, with money the central theme of both the lyrics and video.
He explained: “I picked this song because it represents my lifestyle and also the hard work to keep grinding and keep the racks coming in.”
Koraun followed up his debut with tunes Pretty n Perfect, WHOA and Going Up before releasing his debut album A King’s Party in 2020.
Like his brother, Koraun has a huge social media presence and updates his fans on both new music and personal news.
One picture from just over two years ago shows Koraun covered in gold chains, medallions and expensive watches.
He captioned the snap: “Already a millionaire and I never signed a deal…”
And in another Koraun is shown posing next to an epic car collection, featuring a Ferrari, Mercedes Benz and Bentley’s.

Although it’s unclear whether Cromwell purchased the 700bhp behemoth, he is holding the keys in his Insta snap.
The car is a six-wheel monster, costing a crazy $1million and even has a FRIDGE in the rear trunk.
The Brabus modifications include leather upholstery, full-length running boards with LED lights and a carbon-fiber body.
There’s a 5.5L V8 Twin Turbo under the hood, which is needed as the car weighs in at almost FOUR tonnes.
Mayweather is currently building his tenth skyscraper and has boasted of $50,000-a-month earnings.
He has been called out for a rematch against YouTuber Logan Paul, after their first bout returned no official winner.

Inside Lewis Hamilton’s amazing homes, from £18m six-bedroom London mansion to £32m New York penthouse in celeb hotspot

BEING an F1 driver, Lewis Hamilton is a natural globetrotter.Flying from circuit to circuit, the Brit has won the world championship SEVEN times.

Before he set off in pursuit of the 2021 title – having overtaken Michael Schumacher’s record of 91 career race wins last year – he at least had a choice of four luxury homes to self-isolate in.
From a £32MILLION penthouse in New York to an £18MILLION London mansion and a Monte Carlo retreat, the 37-year-old racer knows how to live a life of luxury.
    NEW YORK, NEW YORK
Lewis has an affinity to America, especially the east coast, where he has owned two properties in the Big Apple.
In 2019, he splashed £32m on a Manhattan penthouse in a condo project part-owned by NFL great Tom Brady and his model wife Gisele Bundchen.
His 6,547 square-foot home included a huge outdoor area and has views of the Hudson River, as well as a swimming pool, fitness centre, squash court, library and wine cellar.
Neighbours include Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and Austin Powers star Mike Myers.
Around the same time, he listed his three-floor 8,900-square-foot penthouse that had its own swimming pool.
Hamilton paid £34m for the five-bedroom, six-bathroom apartment in Tribeca in 2017, but incredibly never lived in it. It’s not known if he ever did sell it.

    LONDON
So, this is what £18m buys you in England’s capital…
In 2017, Hamilton snapped up this unique six-bedroom detached villa in West London from previous owners Burberry chief designer Christopher Bailey and his husband, actor Simon Woods.
The stunning property has ‘generous entertaining space’ which opens out into a 200ft garden with an impressive summer house.
It was built by the famous builder Samuel Johns in 1860.
There are also four reception rooms, with two huge bathrooms.Again, it’s not known how much time Lewis spends living in the property.

    MONTE CARLO
Like many F1 drivers, Hamilton also lives in Monaco.
Although not much is known about his property, he once shared a snap of his wonderful view.
He captioned a snap on social media: “A place I call home, Monte Carlo. I am so blessed to live in such an incredible place. God is really shining down on me today.
“Sending you light & love for your day. On my way to Spa, let’s do this!!!”

Hamilton once shared a view from his stunning Monaco apartment
It is believed he resides in the exclusive Fontvieille district.
Back in 2007, it was reported he was interested in a 2,000sq ft, four-bedroom duplex with views across the Mediterranean in Fontvieille’s Seaside Plaza.
A top-floor apartment would have set him back somewhere in the region of £30m. Nice, if you’re a superstar racer.

Tyson Fury’s dad claims Rob McCracken ‘saved Anthony Joshua’s LIFE’ in Usyk fight and stopped Brit from being KO’d

ANTHONY JOSHUA’s life was ‘saved’ by coach Rob McCracken in his schooling by Oleksandr Usyk last year.AJ had the unified heavyweight titles ripped from his grasp by the slick southpaw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September last year.

But John Fury believes McCracken ‘saved’ Joshua from being knocked out in the Tottenham tussleCredit: GETTY
McCracken was axed by Team Joshua following the spectacular defeat, but fellow coach John Fury believes the Team GB trainer’s advice saved the Brit from a career-ending knockout.
He told BT Sport: I’m not gonna knock Robert McCraken. Because I know, looking at that fight again, Robert McCracken was trying to keep him on his feet.
“He was giving him the advice to get to the 12th round and not get stopped.
“Because I think if AJ would’ve fought any other way, he would’ve got stopped.
“Usyk would’ve knocked him out. So it was a caution sort of thing and happy to come second best. Because what can you do if your man is in that frame of mind?
“It’s your job as a trainer to keep him on his feet. And whether he wins or not, it doesn’t matter.

“Robert McCracken has saved his life, really, because he can come again. Can you imagine if Usyk would’ve counted him out?
“That would’ve been AJ finished for good, wouldn’t it? So Robert McCracken, I think, has saved him for another day.
“He can come back from that defeat because it wasn’t that bad. And why it wasn’t that bad is down to Robert McCracken.
“You know, he’s not a bad trainer is Robert McCracken. But like I say, does he teach dog fighting when he needs to?”
Fury – the father of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson – believes Joshua should show loyalty to his long-time coach and not give him the boot.
He added: “I’d kept McCracken, me. Because he’s been with him all this time, you’ve got to show him loyalty.
“He’s done the best he could for him. And obviously, Robert McCraken has his best interests at heart.
“All he needs to do is get somebody there that can teach him different stuff and then combine them together.

“Work together with it. Do what Robert does and do what this other so-called new guy can do. If they’re out there.
    “I don’t think they’re out there.”
Fury, 57, believes Joshua has all the attributes of a great fighter but lacks in the mental strength department.
He added: “It’s mental, a million per cent. Because with a strong mind, you can do anything. I was always told there’s no such thing as can’t.
“And when you think about it hard enough, there’s not many things you can’t do if you set your mind to it.
“And when a man that big can punch, he’s got the right physique, he’s got everything to be a great fighter.
“All he needs to do is get the knowledge of what’s missing. And that knowledge is learn how to go into trench warfare with your mind intact.
“With that belief in yourself that, ‘Right, I’m gonna die here today. It’s you or me.’
“And without that mentality, you’ll always spew it. You’ll look for the back door every time without that mentality.
“And for my money, he’s not looking for the back door. He could’ve took the back door with [Wladimir] Klitschko in the fifth round. He didn’t.
“Yes, he got beat up by [Andy] Ruiz. But he didn’t take the back door, did he? He got stopped, he was out on his feet. That was it, he couldn’t fight anymore.
“He didn’t hit the canvas and stay down. Do you know what I’m saying?
“He got up. So he’s got something to work with, hasn’t he? And when you look at it in-depth, he’s got a lot to work with.”
Joshua, 32, will bid to reclaim the unified heavyweight throne in a rematch with the Ukrainian on August 20. More

Ex-agent of Neymar reveals how star snubbed Chelsea in 2010 and reveals how close Real Madrid were to transfer

NEYMAR’S former agent has confirmed Chelsea offered him a fortune to sign in 2010. The Brazilian was bursting onto the scene as a 17-year-old with Santos following a stellar debut campaign in 2009.
Neymar was football’s biggest prospect coming through at Santos
Chelsea were heavily linked with his signature amid reports Santos turned down a £20million offer.
The West Londoners had just won the Premier League and FA Cup double in stunning fashion under Carlo Ancelotti, scoring over 100 goals in the process and playing free-flowing football.
But despite their success on the field, a transfer never came to fruition.
Wagner Ribeiro, who represented the player at the time, revealed how it was Neymar who turned down a move to the Premier League.
When asked about Chelsea’s interest in 2010, Ribeiro told L’Equipe: “They offered him a lot of money, but Neymar didn’t want to go.”
Neymar would remain at Santos until 2013 before completing a blockbuster transfer to Barcelona.
But he could have easily signed for fierce rivals Real Madrid as Ribeiro further revealed.
He added: “Florentino (Real’s president) thought he had it.

“He accepted an offer that I presented him. He was willing to pay 40 million to Santos and comply with everything we asked for.
“His father asked him for time because Neymar preferred Barca. They sent three managers, lawyers and were there for 20 days.
“But Neymar didn’t want to go to Madrid, he wanted to play for Barca.
“Messi and Pique called him. He was close to Florentino and Madrid. Sandro Rossell, on the other hand, did not want me to participate in the negotiations with Barcelona.
“He left me aside and did not pay me a penny for the transfer of Neymar to Barca.
“They worked with André Cury, who approached Neymar’s father. They played it on me. I didn’t get anything with that transfer.”
Neymar dazzled in Spain for four years before departing for Paris Saint-Germain in controversial circumstances.
But his future is under the spotlight once again with a move to the Premier League once again suggested with Newcastle.
