Tommy Fury could ‘easily’ beat Jake Paul says Ahmed Elbiali, who sparred YouTuber but says it’s ‘still a great fight’

TOMMY FURY has been tipped to beat Jake Paul ‘easily’ by Ahmed Elbiali, who sparred the YouTuber. Fury, the younger half-brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson, has seen two fights cancelled at the final hour.
Tommy Fury will finally fight Jake Paul in February, according to repotsCredit: Instagram
YouTuber Jake Paul is unbeaten in his boxing career
The Brit – who pulled out of their December showdown due to illness and injury – was then scheduled to have another bout in August, but that too got called off.
However, now it appears they will finally get in the ring in February, as per Paul.
On his BS w/ Jake Paul podcast, the 25-year-old social media star told said: ‘Had a call with Tommy Fury. Yeah, they’re saying we’re going to fight in February.
“I think he actually can’t come into the United States. So if I fight him in the UK, I think parts of it are shady, I don’t think we’re getting the full truth on everything, but regardless, it’s a great matchup and I really want to knock him out.”

Now, light-heavyweight contender Elbiali predicts Fury would be a sound winner when they come to blows.
Elbiali, 32, told SunSport: “Fury, I think would beat him, hands down, easily.
“But at the same time it’s still a great fight for Jake, because Tommy hasn’t fought anybody.
“Tommy is still new to the game, and you also tend to lower yourself to your opponent. Knowing he’s fighting Jake Paul, he might lower his standards slightly.”
    Most read in Boxing
Elbiali, who has 18 knockouts in his 22 wins, sparred Paul, 25, once before the social media sensation left ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 38, out cold.
He got a phone call from a friend just after he had finished a morning workout, and while he was in a Nike store shopping.
The Egyptian-born boxer admitted to pulling his punches against Paul, who only made his pro debut last year off the back of a scrappy white collar bout in England in 2018.
But still Elbiali sees the passion and potential in Paul, which came as he ignored calls from his pals to needlessly wipe out the internet phenomenon.
Elbiali said: “He’s a hardworking dude, he seems passionate about boxing and he carries some power. Is he green? Yeah, he’s very green.
“I did hold back because I had to, and I’m not that type of guy. I had friends telling me, ‘You should have lit him the f*** up’ but it’s like bro, it’s all good.
“I lit him up in different ways. I lit him up without punching him, I tried to exhaust him, made him miss, hit him to the body.
“Jake’s a smart dude, he’s pretty smart in the boxing ring too.”
Elbiali did not receive a call back to spar with Paul again in the build up to his third pro fight – his win over retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren.

Jose Mourinho reveals his all-time XI of players he has managed including Ronaldo and Ozil… but NO Man Utd stars

JOSE MOURINHO has revealed his all-time XI of players he has managed – with NO Manchester United stars selected. The Special One was appointed as United boss in May 2016, but despite winning the Europa League and Carabao Cup in his first season, fans never really took to him.

Mourinho was sacked in December 2018, his time at the club blighted by rumours of fall-outs with Paul Pogba.
Unsurprisingly the French midfielder doesn’t make the all-star XI, as reported by AS.
And there are certainly plenty of surprise omissions considering some of the world class players Jose – who now manages Roma in Serie A – has worked with in the past.
Sergio Ramos, David De Gea, Iker Casillas and Zlatan Ibrahimovic could easily have bagged a spot in the team.
And of course there is Mourinho’s former star striker Harry Kane at Spurs – but he missed out too.
In goal Mourinho has gone for Petr Cech, who was his No1 during some glorious spells at Chelsea.
In defence, John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho, two of Mourinho’s rocks during his Chelsea days, are at centre-half, with William Gallas and Javier Zanetti occupying the full-back slots.
Zanetti is the only player to feature from Inter Milan, where Mourinho coached between 2008 and 2010 and won the Champions League as part of a treble in his final season.

The Chelsea core continues throughout the rest of the team.
Claude Makelele sits in the defensive midfield position. Frank Lampard plays just in front of him alongside Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil, who Mourinho managed during his time at Real Madrid between 2010-13.
Eden Hazard and Cristiano Ronaldo will cut in from the flanks to provide the goals and assists for frontman Didier Drogba.

Inside glitzy life of Ryan Garcia after unbeaten boxer’s dramatic body transformation

RYAN GARCIA is back feeling on top of the world. The unbeaten boxing prospect, 24, took a year away from the sport to focus on his mental health after beating Luke Campbell in January 2021.

He has undergone a radical transformation by adding a host of tattoosCredit: Instagram @kingry
Now firmly back in the game, he saw off Emmanuel Tagoe on April 9 in San Antonio to maintain his unbeaten record.
And he followed up with a win over Javier Fortuna in Los Angeles in July.
Know as Flash or KingRy, the Californian-born lightweight burst onto the scene as a fresh-faced pro aged just 17.
He’s since battled his way up the rankings, winning all 23 of his fights and taking the vacant WBC interim lightweight crown after the dramatic stoppage of Campbell.
Hailing from a big family, Garcia’s success is tied to his parents – his father Henry remains on his training team, while mother Lisa is his tireless PA.
Blessed with movie-star looks and fast hands, the boxer of Mexican descent has let his fists do the talking to build up an estimated net worth of $10million.
And that cash has certainly gone to good use, with Garcia reportedly splashing out on a car and a mansion for his mum – before he even turned 21.
His own family is growing too, with Garcia having two young daughters to provide for.
He has three-year-old Rylie with former girlfriend Catherine Gamez and 18-month-old Bela with social media star Drea Celina.
    ‘EVERYTHING CAME CRASHING DOWN’
Garcia certainly lives his life in the fast lane and that shows with his car collection.
Speed is his friend both in and out of the ring judging by the motors he shares with his 8.7m Instagram followers.
KingRy has some impressive rides at his disposal, including a Lamborghini Urus, Ferrari 488 GTB and Porsche 718 Boxster.
That Lambo packs a serious punch, generating a whopping 641bhp and costing a cool $225,000.
    He’s also the proud owner of a $118k Audi RS Seven, which features a 4.0-liter Twin-Turbo V8 and reaches 60mph in a hair-raising 3.5 seconds.
Boxing fans who didn’t keep up with Garcia during his year away were in for a shock when he entered the ring in July.

Flash has undergone a dramatic body transformation, with his upper torso now dominated by a number of striking tattoos.
Garcia started to increase his body art in early 2021 and now boasts over ten tatts around his shoulders and chest alone.
He has two lions on either side of his chest, reportedly to signify strength and point towards his ‘KingRy’ nickname.
There are also the words ‘Shock the World’ inked on the back of his shoulder, while on his right arm is a cross.
Garcia was baptized in January 2021 and takes his faith seriously.
    ‘I’M THANKFUL, I REALLY AM’
He explains: “The cross [tattoo signifies] the strength, the power in my right hand.
“Don’t underestimate the left one either, as it too has got that power.”
A dove on his right shoulder is said to signify “the holy spirit that guides me”, while there’s also a laurel wreath around his neck.
Garcia is one of the most exciting talents in boxing, with Oscar De La Hoya predicting he can become “the biggest star boxing has ever seen.”.
Now back healthy again and raring to go after his year out of the ring, the unbeaten star can’t wait to fight and take his pro record 22-0.
But he is thankful that he has overcome the mental health demons which struck just three weeks after his win over Campbell.
He told InsideHook: “Everything came crashing down on me. I was lost in my head and words can’t really describe how I felt.
“It was like being in a maze and didn’t know where to go. I’m just happy to be here. I’m thankful, I really am.
“I didn’t understand it. I have everything, I’m doing so good. I get people telling me that ‘Ryan, just like the fact that you came out, you saved my life.’
“And that right there is worth all the pain I went through. If a kid got out of a dark place because of my story, that’s worth more than I could ever do in the ring.”

    LA10 FC
Three years ago, Del Piero was revealed as the secret co-owner of United Premier Soccer League team, LA10 FC.
The team, who play in black and white, were actually taken over by Juve icon and businessman Jeffrey Whalen in a private takeover.
“To me football is linked to pure passion. After all, this is what I’ve always wanted, to own a small football team. To feel the passion,” Del Piero confirmed on his website at the time.
“At the end of last summer I decided to become an owner of a small football team based in Los Angeles, in partnership with EDGE Americas Sports, of which I am a co-founder, and my business partner, Jeffrey Whalen.
“This adventure won me over immediately and today I’m officially revealing this exciting news for the first time. The team is called LA10 FC, our colours are black & white.”
And Del Piero’s glittering career and success has robbed off on his team with LA10 FC finishing first in their league, earning promotion to a division just below the American second division.
“After a period of anonymity, I decided to share this beautiful experience and give credit to the entire team for the amazing results they’ve achieved,” Del Piero added.
“A big thank you goes to the technical staff, the management and all the players.

“Now we are returning to the pitch for the spring season.
“Conquering the first success as an owner has had a special, different, new and fun feel.
“I like it because it brings me back to when everything was just a game.”
    ADP10 SOCCER ACADEMIES
Ensuring he maintains his football status, Del Piero’s expertise on the football field lives on through ADP10 Soccer Academies.

For boys and girls aged between six and 16, ADP10 offers European style football training and a program designed by Del Piero himself, and carried out by Italian coaches he’s selected to work in the US with him.
    A three-day clinic costs around £320 per child, while there’s a three-month development program for around £380.
And yes, Del Piero likes to get out on the field too to pass on his tips to the youngsters when he’s not busy.

Chelsea star N’Golo Kante is football’s Mr Nice, while boasting a £25m fortune and being one of the richest

N’GOLO KANTE is a regular among football’s most popular players and broke into the Sunday Times Young Sport Rich List. The Chelsea and France midfielder has amassed an impressive fortune of £25million but he is well-known as a humble, down-to-earth figure off the pitch.

Kante has enjoyed a rapid rise from his early days playing in the French second-tierCredit: Getty – Contributor
Despite his wealth, Kante still drops by local mosques to pray and hang out with fans and even shows up at a supporter’s wedding.
Even on the pitch, his sparkling attitude comes across when deliberately refusing to punish teammates in a fun training game and memorably being too shy to hold the World Cup.
It is clear his humble mantra spills over into his finances too with Kante saving more than a few pennies by driving a Mini rather than a supercar.
And it isn’t hard to see how the Frenchman made it to seventh in the Sunday Times ‘Young Sportsmen’ Rich List, for athletes aged under 30 in 2020.
After signing a new Chelsea contract in November 2018, he is thought to have doubled his pre-tax wages from £150,000-a-week to £300,000-a-week.
The Blues also paid out handsomely after Kante helped Antonio Conte’s side win the 2016/17 Premier League title.
A £5m fund was reportedly set up by Roman Abramovich to reward the squad, weighting bonuses towards those who made the most appearances – such as Kante and his 35 matches.
A similar prize of around £250,000 was mooted for every member of France’s World Cup-winning squad in 2018 and no doubt he will have received another tidy bonus after helping Chelsea beat Manchester City in the Champions League final in 2021.

    latest football news
However Leicester’s title run of 2016 came so unexpectedly that no cash bonus was set aside for Kante and Co – leaving them to share a £6.5m pot between them for simply finishing above 12th.
Of course, the Foxes got plenty of other perks and the midfielder would cash in by heading to Stamford Bridge the following summer.
In 2020, he agreed a fresh deal to remain a brand ambassador for German sports clothing giant Adidas. More

Eddie Hearn calls YouTuber Jake Paul ‘average’ while rating YouTuber as a boxer – but insists he is ‘complimenting’ him

BOXING promoter Eddie Hearn gave a brutally honest assessment of the skills of YouTube personality Jake Paul.Hearn labelled Paul’s ability as “average” during a Q&A – but insisted he was complimenting him.
Jake Paul (left) and Eddie Hearn (right) during a Q&A sessionCredit: Getty
The pair sat down for an interview with DAZN back in May amid the Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano fight and straight away it descended into chaos as Paul took offence to Hearn’s jab.
Hearn started the interview by saying: “He fought AnEsonGib who was terrible on the night and Jake looked pretty average cause Gib was terrible as well.”
Paul rebuked this, suggesting his ability could not be properly judged due to the fight lasting such a short amount of time.
After a swift back and forth the promoter responded once again: “That’s true, that’s true. I don’t know where you might go. I just give you where I think you’re at which I’m entitled to, which is average.”

He then delivered the killer line: “average is very complimentary.”
This follows on from Hearn declaring Paul would never win a world title in boxing.
Paul’s YouTube channel currently sits at 20.4 million subscribers, but switched the YouTube scene in favour of boxing in 2018.
His first fight was on the undercard of the KSI vs Logan Paul bout, which attracted over 2.25 million live views.

Since then he has won each of his pro fights, beating former MMA welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley in a rematch in December after Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy Fury pulled out. More

Man Utd tried to get Ronaldo to go to Barcelona instead of Real Madrid in 2009 – and he could’ve played with Messi

MANCHESTER UNITED almost managed to get Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to link-up… for Barcelona.Portuguese superstar Ronaldo shattered football’s transfer record in 2009 when he left Old Trafford to join Real Madrid for £80million.

Los Blancos had already splashed out on Karim Benzema, Xabi Alonso and Ballon d’Or winner Kaka in response to Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering debut season as Nou Camp chief the year before.
But they were almost denied the jewel in returning president’s Florentino Perez’s masterplan if Sir Alex Ferguson had got his way.
The legendary Scot was desperate to avoid losing Ronaldo to Real once he’d accepted that the former Sporting Lisbon winger was set to leave.
Fergie had even said back in 2008 that he wouldn’t sell Madrid a ‘virus’ let alone his best player.
And according to Spanish newspaper AS, the United boss realised at the time that Barcelona were the only other club who could afford Ronaldo.
Fergie apparently contacted the Catalans to encourage a bid but the Portugal captain had already set his mind on a move to the Bernabeu.
    Most Read in Football

Guardiola’s most notable signing that summer involved an infamous swap deal with Inter Milan involving Samuel Eto’o and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
But the acquisition of Ronaldo would have not only ushered in an era of pure dominance for Barcelona, but also have cancelled out his famed rivalry with Messi.
Whether Manchester City chief Pep could have managed to get the two to play together is up for debate, as he boasted an embarrassment of attacking riches while in charge of Barca.
While Arsenal legend Thierry Henry flourished for Barca on the left wing, Ronaldo could have occupied the opposite flank to leave Messi in the hole behind Ibra.
Yaya Toure and Sergio Busquets may have had to share a spot on the substitutes bench, with Spanish duo Xavi and Iniesta holding down the two spots in the middle.
Messi was asked by Mundo Deportivo last year whether he would pass to Ronaldo if the two were on the same team.
The Argentine joked: “I guess so, in the end, yes.”
