Mino Raiola and Alfie Haaland were in Spain to speak with rivals Barca and Real Madrid
Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, and dad, Alfie, were in Spain on Thursday to speak with rivals Barca and Real Madrid.
And according to Catalunya Radio, Raiola told Nou Camp president Joan Laporta, the Dortmund forward is only interested in a move to LaLiga.
But, it is claimed Laporta also explained they prefer to sign the 20-year-old next season due to his release clause.
Haaland is available for just £65million in the summer of 2022 per the stipulation.
But any side looking to sign the Norwegian in the next window can be expected to pay close to £150m.
Barca are currently battling huge financial debt, believed to be in the region of £1BILLION.
It leaves them at a disadvantage to Real Madrid, who have the funds to facilitate a deal.

But it is believed the Spanish champions are also eyeing a move for PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe, 22.
Raiola and Haaland Sr are now expected to meet with Premier League clubs in the coming days.
United were linked with Haaland in 2019, with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer even meeting with the goal machine.
But he was unable to convince him to make the move to Old Trafford, despite the pair working together at Molde.
City are on the hunt for a new marksman following the news club legend Sergio Aguero, 32, will leave at the end of the season.
Chelsea spent close to £150m on attacking talent last summer, but owner Roman Abramovich is rumoured to be a massive admirer of Haaland.

Tottenham ‘have Miguel Gutierrez transfer offer rejected by Real Madrid with defender, 19, highly-rated at Bernabeu’

TOTTENHAM have reportedly had a bid for Real Madrid’s teenage starlet Miguel Gutierrez rejected.Jose Mourinho is said to have been knocked back in an approach for the 19-year-old defender, according to Defensa Central.

And it is not the first time The Special One has failed to land his man.
The report claims the Portuguese boss tried to sign Gutierrez as a 16-year-old when he was in charge at Manchester United in 2017.
Marca claims Gutierrez turned down Old Trafford in order to avoid disrupting his family as one of his parents would have had to move overseas with him.
Mourinho looks to have failed again with the player on the verge of the Madrid first team and keen to make his mark in the Spanish capital.
Gutierrez is still part of the academy system but has been linked with a move to Italy.
Both Juventus and Inter Milan are reported to be keen on the highly-rated youngster.
Left-back Gutierrez has not yet been handed a senior debut by boss Zinedine Zidane.
The Spain Under-19 international progressed into Madrid’s Castilla B-team ahead of this season and has made 12 appearances.

Real president Florentino Perez is adamant that the side’s best young players should not be poached.
And Gutierrez is believed to be in Zidane’s thinking going forward.
It is the second time since joining Spurs that Mourinho has gone after a Real Madrid left-back after he paid £27million for Sergio Reguilon in September.

Real Madrid’s Marcelo under investigation and faces fine after appearing to break Covid rules on four-hour Valencia trip

REAL MADRID star Marcelo is under investigation after appearing to breach Covid-19 travel restrictions by leaving the Spanish capital to travel to the beach with his family. The Brazilian left-back left himself facing a four-figure fine by publicising a photo showing him relaxing in the sun at Malvarrosa beach in Valencia, a four-hour drive from his home.
Real Madrid star Marcelo shared a picture on his Instagram page showing him relaxing under the sun with his familyCredit: Instagram
He was pictured relaxing with his actress wife Clarice Alves and their two children Enzo, 11, and Liam, five.
The Real veteran, who signed for the Spanish giants from Fluminense in 2006, captioned the holiday snap: “Sunny Sunday in Valencia”, prompting an immediate like from team-mate Casemiro.
One of the footballer’s 46 million followers reacted to the photo, which showed Marcelo and his family with no facemasks on and in apparent breach of restrictions preventing travel outside of Madrid without a justified cause: “It angers me that famous people like you rub our faces in it.
“You can leave Madrid but poor people like us can’t.”
Another added: “Rules and regulations are put in place for something, not so that people with money can do what the hell they want.”
A third raged at Marcelo: “Do you think you’re better than the rest and lockdown shouldn’t apply to you?”

Gareth Bale, Eden Hazard and Sergio Ramos are Real Madrid’s top earners
There was no immediate comment from the footballer to the criticism he received.
Regional government health chiefs in Valencia confirmed they had initiated proceedings which could lead to fines for breaching Covid-19 travel restrictions.
Local reports said the total fine could be up to €2,800 (£2,392) – consisting of four fines of €600 (£513) for any travel breach and four fines of €100 (£85) for going without facemasks.
Marcelo, who reportedly earns over £20,000 a day, shouldn’t have too many problems paying up if he and his family are hit with a fine.
The footballer was given time off during the international break and is expected back for training at the start of this week along with other players that haven’t been called up.
The Covid-19 restrictions currently in place in Spain prevent travel outside of peoples’ home regions. The few exceptions include travel for work or humanitarian reasons.
Facemasks are mandatory in public places. In the Valencian region, which covers the city of Valencia as well as towns and cities further south like Benidorm and Alicante, bars and restaurants have to close at 6pm.
More than 75,000 people have died from coronavirus in Spain since the start of the pandemic. The total number of Covid-19 cases currently stands at more than 3.2 million.
In the Madrid region nearly 15,000 people have died.

Real Madrid’s biggest transfer flops, as Eden Hazard continues to struggle including Kaka, Jovic and Woodgate

REAL MADRID are never shy when it comes to spending big.It seems every summer the LaLiga giants make a marquee signing, adding someone who’s normally thought of as one of the world’s best to a squad packed full of internationals.
Eden Hazard has proven to be a Real Madrid since moving from ChelseaCredit: Reuters
But, with the pressure of succeeding at one of the most successful clubs in the game and justifying a hefty price tag, sometimes failure follows.
These blockbuster additions have (as of now in one case) failed to set the Bernabeu alight.
They are the biggest transfer flops in Real Madrid’s illustrious history…
    EDEN HAZARD
IT might seem unfair to say it – but it’s now almost two summers since Eden Hazard move to Los Blancos from Chelsea in a deal reportedly worth around £130million.
Any settling-in period the world class Belgium playmaker may have needed, has surely since passed?
Hazard’s biggest problem has been his fitness – with complaints about his weight.
He’s also had plenty of niggling injuries, as well as battled Covid-19.
But still, the 30-year-old should’ve managed more than four goals in 36 appearances in his time at the club so far.
Will things get better? It’s hard to imagine they can get any worse.

    LUKA JOVIC
AFTER starring for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga and in the Europa League, many were convinced Jovic was the next football superstar.
The Serbian striker had power and pace, as well as an eye for goal that saw Real pay £54m for his services.
Something went wrong somewhere though for the 23-year-old.
With Karim Benzema enjoying a renaissance, as well as favouritism from manager Zinedine Zidane, Jovic found his opportunities in the first team limited.
And when he did play, that ruthless nature he did have in front of goal seemed to have left him, as well as his confidence.
After two goals in 32 games, he was loaned back to Frankfurt in January. He’s not quite hit the heights he did previously in Germany.

    KAKA
IF ever there was a footballer that belonged on the stage at the Bernabeu, it was Kaka – as graceful a player the world has ever seen.
For some reason, though, that elegance left him as soon as the former Ballon d’Or winner joined Real from AC Milan for a record-breaking £56m in 2009.
In truth, the brilliant Brazilian was hindered by injuries. In 2010, he had surgery on a serious knee injury.
With his mobility affected, the dynamic playmaker didn’t have as much of an influence as he did when he played in Serie A.
Kaka left after four seasons, scoring 29 goals and providing 32 assists in 120 games across all competitions.

    DANILO
IN 2015, Real Madrid added Brazilian full-back Danilo to their ranks.
The fee they paid Porto for the right-back was a staggering £31million, and they believed he would be the ‘next Dani Alves’.
He rarely played in his first campaign, and bizarrely EVERY game he did ended in a defeat.
In his second he scored two comical own goals, including one that saw Real eliminated from the Copa del Rey against Celta Vigo.
Amazingly, despite his poor showings the club managed to get £26.5million back when they sold him to Manchester City… he flopped there too.

    ANTONIO CASSANO
THE Spanish press were never kind to Italian star Cassano.
They christened him ‘Gordito’, which translates as ‘little fat one’. And although it’s meant affectionately, the former Roma legend wasn’t well liked in Madrid.
He was picked on for putting on weight, and there was an extraordinary claim he gained 14 kilos in seven months eating Nutella direct from the jar.
And when boss Fabio Capello arrived at the club, the £22m signing fell out with his fellow countryman and was duly suspended.
In two seasons, he played just 29 times and scored four goals.

    JONATHAN WOODGATE
THE English defender regularly features in polls for worst ever Real Madrid signing.
And it just got off to the worst possible start for the former Leeds United player.
Signed for £13m from Newcastle in 2004, Woodgate was on the sidelines for his entire first season.
He finally made his debut a year later against Athletic Bilbao, and it couldn’t have been worse.
Aside from a comical own goal, Woodgate was then sent off for two bookable offences.
In 2006, Woodgate returned to England on loan at Middlesbrough. That deal was made permanent a year later.

    WESLEY SNEIJDER
ANOTHER huge talent, Sneijder would have a big hand in helping his country reach a World Cup final in 2010 later in his career.
But, before that, there were his lost years in Madrid from 2004-2006.
A £27m signing from Ajax, Sneijder was one of three Dutchman who joined the club that summer, along with Royston Drenthe and Arjen Robben.
However, he didn’t pose as much swagger as he did in his early years at Ajax.
After a disappointing second season, Sneijder was sold to Inter Milan, where he would win the Champions League.

Arsenal transfer blow with Real Madrid ‘not contemplating letting Martin Odegaard leave on permanent deal this summer’

REAL MADRID reportedly expect Martin Odegaard to return to Spain in the summer following his loan spell at Arsenal. The Gunners signed the midfielder in January for a fee of £1.8million and he has produced some stellar performances for the club.

Goals against Tottenham and Olympiacos, as well as a starring role in the comeback draw with West Ham, have made him an integral part of Mikel Arteta’s plans.
It is said that the Premier League side are very open to the idea of keeping Odegaard past the summer.
But, according to Madrid publication Marca, Real are not contemplating a sale.
Zinedine Zidane gave the Norwegian his first run in the team at the start of the campaign but a knee issue and a lack of match action hindered his form.
With the coach unable to guarantee a regular role post-January, he was allowed to leave but no purchase option was agreed as part of his loan.
Madrid reportedly want to provide Odegaard with a fresh crack at proving himself at the Bernabeu.
The 22-year-old, who was signed as a teen prodigy in 2015 and excelled at Real Sociedad last term, accepted a pandemic pay cut before heading for North London.
And he is thought to be determined to prove himself at the Bernabeu, even if he is thoroughly enjoying his time with Arsenal.

Liverpool plan to scout Real Madrid star Nacho when teams meet in Champions League as Klopp eyes new defender

LIVERPOOL will take the opportunity to scout Nacho when they meet Real Madrid in the Champions League, it has been claimed. The Spaniard has been vital in Madrid’s recent eight game unbeaten run in the league, playing every match.
Nacho has become key in Real Madrid’s defence recentlyCredit: Rex
It comes while Sergio Ramos is sidelined with injury, and Nacho is expected to keep his place in the squad even upon the captain’s return to fitness.
That will see the centre-half play against Barcelona domestically and Liverpool in Europe.
And according to AS, the English champions, along with Roma, have both been interested in Nacho before.
So, with two legs to watch the 31-year-old in action, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp can take a better look at him.
Klopp was in the market for defenders in the winter window, with regular pair Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez injured.
They settled for a shock £2million deal for Ben Davies from Preston and then secured a loan for Ozan Kabak of Schalke.
But both have failed to hit the ground running, with Liverpool on an unwanted run of six straight home losses in the league.
It leaves Klopp again open to further signings to strengthen his backline.

Arsenal have the easiest run-in based on the league position of their final nine opponents

Nacho’s contract runs out next summer, but his recent run of performances have raised speculation he will be offered a new deal.
And even when Ramos, 34, returns, manager Zinedine Zidane is said to be considering a back three, to keep Nacho and Raphael Varane’s partnership.
The LaLiga holders used that formation against Elche and Atalanta recently, while Ramos briefly returned before suffering another knock.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid return ‘is possible’ and cash-strapped Juventus could even agree transfer exit for FREE

CRISTIANO RONALDO’s return to Real Madrid is possible and he reportedly could even leave Juventus for FREE.
Spanish outlet AS reports Ronaldo, 36, could walk away from the Old Lady for nothing with the cash-strapped Serie A champs struggling to make ends meet.

Spanish paper AS splashed on Ronaldo’s potential return to Madrid

The report states Ronaldo is raking in more than £68.5million in gross annual earnings, which is too heavy a hit for the Italian side amid the pandemic.
A combination of having lost over £97m in the first six months of the season and crashing out to Porto in the Champions League last 16, has firmly put the brakes on spending in Turin.
This could mean Ronaldo – who arrived at Juventus in 2018 for £88m -is allowed to depart without a transfer fee when his contract expires in 2022.
Italian reports suggested a fee of just £25m would be enough to seal the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s Bernabeu return.

Juve chiefs are desperate to offload the Portuguese superstar’s enormous £1.1m-a-WEEK gross salary from their wage bill.
AS suggests the move could be beneficial for all parties with Ronaldo – who scored 450 goals in 438 games for Los Blancos – said to be frustrated at the criticism coming his way.
Madrid are tipped to use Ronaldo’s return as a bridge to future Galatico signings such as Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.
But things are not so simple for Zinedine Zidane’s side who are paying off a loan for work on their stadium and have a soaring wage bill with recent additions including Chelsea hero Eden Hazard.

Madrid have also suffered a huge dent in revenue to the tune of around £157m thanks to the coronavirus.
However, despite claims Ronaldo could leave for free, Juventus CEO Fabio Paratici insisted he is the future of the club.
Paratici told Sky Sport Italia: “It makes me laugh. I never imagined Ronaldo could be put into question.
“I grew up in a small town and I heard people discussing Michel Platini, Gigi Rivera, Roberto Baggio, top players inside bars.
“Ronaldo won five Ballons d’Or, I don’t know how many Champions League titles. He won so many trophies and has scored so many goals at Juventus.
“It’s a privilege to have him here, we are happy to have him here. He surely represents the future of Juventus.”

With the Serie A champions facing significant financial challenges amid the coronavirus pandemic, it has been speculated the forward could leave.
Former team Real Madrid – who sold Ronaldo to Juve for £100m in 2018 – were a subject to shock interest in re-signing the superstar.
But Old Lady CEO Fabio Paratici suggested the 36-year-old will be at the club for many years to come.
Paratici told Sky Sport Italia: “It makes me laugh. I never imagined Ronaldo could be put into question.

“I grew up in a small town and I heard people discussing Michel Platini, Gigi Rivera, Roberto Baggio, top players inside bars.

“It’s a privilege to have him here, we are happy to have him here. He surely represents the future of Juventus.”
Ronaldo, 36, is believed to earn around £1.1m-a-WEEK gross – which accounts for around a fifth of Juve’s entire wage budget.

Come the summer, he will still have a year left on his contract.
But according to Diario AS, Ronaldo is keen to make a remarkable return to the Bernabeu.
After joining for a then-world record fee of £80m from Manchester United in 2009, Ronaldo broke all kinds of records in the Spanish capital.
He scored 450 goals in 438 games for Madrid, while winning two league titles and four Champions Leagues.
Ronaldo reportedly left Santiago Bernabeu because he no longer felt ‘indispensable’ in the eyes of president Florentino Perez.
But Juve chief Paratici has made it clear he values the Portugal captain and wants him to stay in Italy.
