Wilshere played 27 Premier League games for the Cherries before returning to the Emirates in the summer of 2017.
Yet despite spending just one campaign under Howe, he believes Newcastle transfer target Hazard would enjoy being coached by the Magpies boss if he was to leave Real Madrid.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: “He [Howe] was great with me, because it was tough for me there because I was coming from a big club [Arsenal].
“I stepped into a group that had been together since they were in League One, they were all friends.
“They were all great with me, but Eddie made sure they were. He was great with me.
“Eden Hazard is another level, but I think Eden would love playing for a manager like Eddie Howe [at Newcastle]. He’s the type of manager you want to play for.”

Hazard has desperately struggled to remain fit at Real Madrid since swapping Chelsea for the LaLiga giants in 2019.
In 54 games for Los Blancos the 30-year-old has managed a dreadfully poor five goals.
It has been a turbulent spell in Spain that has seen many question the £88.5million Real paid Chelsea for his services.
But Newcastle could look to take a punt on him following their £300m takeover by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund.
The North East outfit have been linked with a number of star players following the arrival of their billionaire owners.
These include Manchester United duo Jesse Lingard and Donny van de Beek, Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule and Aston Villa centre-back Tyrone Mings.
Newcastle are still searching for their first Prem win of the season after 11 games.
They have picked up just five draws in the campaign so far and sit down in 19th place as a result.

Real Madrid plan to offload FOUR top-earners including Hazard to land Chelsea star Rudiger in £200k-a-week free transfer

REAL MADRID are preparing to offload four star players as they look to bring in Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger at the end of the season.Carlo Ancelotti has relied on David Alaba and Eder Militao as his first choice central defensive pairing for much of the 2021-22 campaign so far.

But he is still keen to strengthen in that area of his squad and has identified Chelsea’s German stalwart as a potential target.
Rudiger’s contract comes to an end at Stamford Bridge in the summer.
This means he is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club as early as January.
And, according to AS, Real could be in a position to offer him a £200,000 a week deal because of the absence of a transfer fee.
They are also expecting to shift some huge wage earners from their books at the end of the campaign.
These include Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Isco who will all become free agents in the summer.

Hazard has been a total flop since arriving in SpainCredit: Rex
And Eden Hazard, whose deal runs until 2024, could also be on his way out having netted just five goals in 53 games since arriving from Chelsea in 2019.
Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano reported earlier this month that Chelsea are continuing to try and negotiate a new contract with Rudiger.
He said: “Chelsea are still negotiating with Toni Rudiger agents over new contract.
“Talks ongoing – there’s currently no agreement on salary but it’s not over as Rudiger is so happy with Chelsea and Tuchel.”

Rudiger was superb under Thomas Tuchel in the second half of last season, playing an integral part in their Champions League triumph.
But it looks as though the Blues could already be preparing for life without him following the announcement of Trevoh Chalobah’s new contract on Thursday.
The 22-year-old has committed his future to Chelsea by penning a new four-and-a-half year deal which will keep him at the club until 2026. More

Barcelona ready to compete with Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappe as cash-strapped Catalans target free transfer

BARCELONA are ready to take on Real Madrid in the battle for PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe. Despite being in dire straits financially, the Catalans believe they can make ‘one great signing’ before next season.
Lionel Messi’s arrival at PSG has not convinced Mbappe to stay at the Parc Des PrincesCredit: Getty
And according to Spanish outlet AS, the club have emerged as a possible shock destination for the 22-year-old.
Mbappe is out of contract at PSG next summer and is available on a free transfer, but any club wanting to sign him will have to pay a hefty signing on fee.
But Barcelona are rumoured to be willing to pay up to £76million to secure a move despite their financial woes.
And the Catalans believe Los Blancos will only offer £42million.
As a result a much higher sum could sway Mbappe’s decision, after he was widely expected to seal a move to the Bernabeu.
Madrid however are in a better position than their bitter rivals financially – meaning they are able to offer a higher weekly wage than the Catalans.

And AS report that the side from the capital still have the ‘advantage’ when it comes to negotiations for the World Cup winner.
Mbappe is allowed to start talks with clubs regarding a pre-contract agreement from January 1.
He has publicly admitted that he wants to move to Real Madrid, but Barca still remain determined to ‘hinder the operation’ which was seemingly all but done.
Los Blancos reportedly made two bids for the superstar in the summer, both of which were rebuffed by Les Parisiens.
And according to president Florentino Perez they could even sign him in January, rather than wait until the summer and have to compete with rival clubs.
Rumours linking Mbappe to Barcelona come after former president Josep Bartomeu revealed the club could have signed the Frenchman in 2017.
But then manager Ernesto Valverde and his coaching staff instead recommended that the club sign Ousmanne Dembele.
Bartomeu told on Esport3: “[Mbappe’s] signing was on the table, but the coaches preferred Dembele because they wanted a player to open the field.”
Dembele was signed from Borussia Dortmund for a reported £138m, and has just 30 goals in 118 appearances in four years at Camp Nou.

Man Utd joined by PSG in Erling Haaland transfer race with Lewandowski ‘back-up option if Mbappe leaves for Real Madrid’

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have joined the race to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, according to reports. The 21-year-old Norwegian will be able to leave the Bundesliga side for £68million in the summer as he has a release clause in his contract.

And, according to Le10sport.com, PSG’s sporting director Leonardo has prioritised Haaland as their number one target.
The Ligue 1 side are also monitoring the situation surrounding Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
The Pole’s current contract expires in 2023 and it was reported earlier this season that he could be tempted to embark on a new challenge.
And PSG may well be the perfect fit for the 33-year-old, who scored 48 goals in 40 games last season.
Haaland, who has also attracted interest from Manchester United, netted 41 times in 41 games in the 2020-21 campaign.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team could be without star forward Kylian Mbappe in the summer.

The World Cup winner looked set to move to Real Madrid before the deal fell through on deadline day.
But he has doubled down on his desire to leave as his contract expires at the end of the season.
Mbappe told RMC Sport: “I asked to leave, because from the moment where I did not want to extend [my contract], I wanted the club to receive a transfer fee so they could bring in a quality replacement.
“This club has given me a lot, I have always been happy – the four years I have had here – and I still am.
“I said it early enough so that the club could react. I wanted everyone to come out of this stronger, that we leave hand-in-hand, to make a good deal and I respected that.
“I said, if you don’t want me to go I will stay.”

Arsenal ‘interested in Luka Jovic transfer with Real Madrid outcast, 23, seen as Alexandre Lacazette replacement’

ARSENAL have identified Real Madrid outcast Luka Jovic as a potential replacement for Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports. The 23-year-old has played just 11 times for the Spanish giants over the last two seasons.
Jovic could be on his way out of Real Madrid in the next 12 monthsCredit: Rex
He showed a few promising signs while on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt during the 2020-21 campaign, netting four times in 18 games.
And, according to Fichajes, he could now be set to make a permanent move away from the Bernabeu, with Arsenal said to be monitoring him closely.
Real Madrid are thought to be keen to sell him as they look to try and raise some money for big transfer moves next summer.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have been heavily linked with Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe after they failed to secure his services in the last window.
They are also looking at Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland as his release clause promises to make him a major bargain.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are on the lookout for a striker because of the contractual situation surrounding Lacazette.

The Frenchman’s current deal expires at the end of the season and there is a feeling his time may well be up at the Emirates.
Lacazette has scored 67 goals in 174 games for Arsenal since joining the club in 2017.
But he has featured in just two Premier League games so far in the 2021-22 campaign.
It was reported earlier this week that Lacazette has no intention of signing a new deal at Arsenal.
A number of Premier League clubs and across Europe have already shown interest in the forward.
Mega-rich Newcastle are believed to have put the former Lyon ace on their 10-man shortlist.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Sevilla and AC Milan are also said to be eyeing him up. More

Real Madrid want Chelsea transfer target Aurelien Tchouameni as ‘ideal replacement for Casemiro’ from Monaco for £30m

REAL MADRID are reportedly ready to go toe-to-toe with Chelsea in a battle to sign Monaco midfield star Aurelien Tchouameni. Spanish outlet Marca claims the LaLiga leaders see the France ace as a potential successor to Casemiro with the Brazilian turning 30 in February.

Carlo Ancelotti’s club have already made moves to try and bring Tchouameni’s compatriot Kylian Mbappe to Spain next year, much to the annoyance of Paris Saint-Germain.
Tchouameni has enjoyed an outstanding beginning to this season, making 15 appearances for Monaco and netting in their 3-0 win against Bordeaux.
The Ligue 1 starlet has impressed on the international stage, covering the midfield slot next to Paul Pogba in N’Golo Kante’s absence.
His efforts drew praise from the Man United star who hailed the player for having ‘extraordinary technical and physical quality’ in a Ouest-France interview.
The former Bordeaux youngster helped Les Bleus triumph for the first time ever in the Nations League, making a full 90 minute appearance in the team’s 2-1 defeat of Spain in the contest’s final.
Marca claims Madrid could face a battle for Tchouameni’s signature from a few of Europe’s other big clubs alongside Chelsea.

It is thought Juventus have an interest in the player with Liverpool rumoured to be keeping an eye on the £34million-rated star.
And this year the player, who has been on target twice for his club in France’s top-flight, was referred to as a ‘complete, modern midfielder’ by club-mate Cesc Fabregas.
Reports claim Chelsea may well have taken note of Didier Deschamps opting to use Tchouameni as cover for Kante in midfield.
In the summer The Athletic claimed The Blues, who face Brentford on Saturday, felt the 21-year-old would benefit from another season in Ligue 1.
Madrid have battled with their budgets being affected by the impact of Covid-19.

However, the club hopes to be in an improved financial situation next summer.
And the Daily Mail claims Touchameni and Mbappe remain the Bernabeu outfit’s top targets for 2022 with the PSG striker potentially available on a free transfer.
Tchouameni has notched up 53 Monaco appearances in addition to the 37 he made at Bordeaux as a teenager before his January 2020 switch.

Seven transfers we could see in January as Arsenal move for Calvert-Lewin and Watkins and van de Beek in Man Utd exit

THERE is less than three months until the transfer window swings wide open again and clubs try and find some New Year deals. The likes of Luis Suarez, Bruno Fernandes and Pierre-Emerick Aubemayang arrived in the Premier League during previous winter windows

And there is already plenty of speculation surrounding who will be going where in the first few weeks of 2022.
So SunSport rounds up some of the biggest transfers that could get over the line in January…
Ollie Watkins or Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Arsenal
The Gunners need a new striker with Alexandre Lacazette’s contract expiring at the end of the season.
And as revealed by SunSport, they are eyeing two of the Premier League and England’s hottest young strikers to lead the line long-term.

Donny van de Beek to Everton
He wanted out of Old Trafford in the summer but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer blocked a last-minute loan to the Toffees.
But now clearer than ever he is not in the plans, Van de Beek could be allowed to make the switch in January – or may return to boyhood club Ajax.

    Raheem Sterling to Barcelona
The England winger continues to struggle for game time under Pep Guardiola this term and Barcelona could be set to pounce.
Apparently, the Catalan giants have the funds, despite their financial mess, to stump up £60million for Sterling.

    Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea
The RB Leipzig midfielder, who scored a hat-trick against Manchester City in September, worked under Thomas Tuchel at PSG and could be reunited with the German.
The 23-year-old’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has confirmed he is in talks with Chelsea, Man City and Real Madrid over a 2022 switch – but the Blues may swoop and get a deal done early.
Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is also a target but Chelsea face competition from Juventus for his signature.

    Paul Pogba to PSG
The ongoing saga surrounding Pogba continues with his current Manchester United contract expiring next summer.
The Red Devils want him to make a decision on his future by Christmas but failure to do so could see the club sell him on the cheap in January rather than lose him for free with PSG ahead of Real Madrid and Juventus in the race.

    Pau Torres to Man City
That’s right – Manchester City are being linked with yet another centre-back with the Etihad club ‘well positioned’ to land the Villarreal ace.
United and Tottenham have wanted him in the past but Pep Guardiola likes his compatriot and wants him as further competition for Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte, John Stones and Nathan Ake.

    Allan Saint-Maximin to Liverpool
Newcastle’s exciting winger certainly catches the eye with his dazzling runs and trickery – and it has not gone unnoticed at Anfield or Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool looks the likeliest destination but it would surely take a mammoth bid to convince Mike Ashley to sell one of his best players amid a relegation dogfight.

Real Madrid are lining up a shock transfer swoop for Youri Tielemans but Leicester could demand £50m

REAL MADRID are said to considering a January move for Youri Tielemans. Reports in Spain claim the Leicester midfielder is attracting interest from Europe’s biggest sides including Carlo Ancelotti’s club.
Youri Tielemans is rumoured to be attracting interest from Real Madrid and LiverpoolCredit: Rex
And Spanish outlet El Nacional says the LaLiga outfit could be open to paying the reported £50million price tag linked with the Belgian.
The Prem ace has reportedly refused to confirm or deny rumours concerning the renewal of his Foxes contract.
According to El Nacional, Tielemans said a few weeks ago: “I am open to everything.
“The transfer market has just closed, but I want to keep open all the options I can.”
It is thought Madrid, who play Espanyol later, are eyeing Tielemens as a potential replacement for their midfielder Casemiro.
Reports claim the Brazil player, who signed a new contract with Madrid this year, is wanted by Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Tielemans versatility in midfield is said to be a big draw for Madrid.
The former Monaco star, who notched up six goals and four assists in 38 Premier League games last term, is also reported to be a target for Liverpool.
The Belgium international, whose Leicester’s side play Crystal Palace today, has a contract with the Foxes until June 2023.
Should Tielemans seal a switch to the Bernabeu he would become the third Belgian to arrive at the club
Ancelotti’s squad includes former Chelsea stars Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard.
Tielemans, who joined Leicester from Monaco for a fee of around £40, has made 118 appearances for the club since his July 2019 arrival.
