    Vinicius Jr reveals transfer plans as he admits he won’t finish his career at Real Madrid after promise to father

    VINICIUS JUNIOR has named the one club he would leave Real Madrid for because of a promise he made to his father.The Brazilian forward, 23, has established himself as one of the best players in the world at the Bernabeu.

    Since joining in 2018, he has scored 62 goals and provided 65 assists in 232 appearances for the Spanish giants.
    He is set to be at Real Madrid for the foreseeable future as his contract does not expire until 2027.
    But he has now revealed he promised his father he would return to Brazilian side Flamengo one day.
    Vinicius came through the club’s academy prior to signing for Real Madrid.

    Speaking to France Football, the Los Blancos superstar said: “I think I could stay here my whole career, but the club of my life is Flamengo.
    “I promised my father I would go back one day. I have to keep this promise.

    “I love life here in general, and it’s going well for my family too. When my loved ones walk around, they are recognised and they wish us nothing but happiness.
    “Little by little, I discovered this new life, new emotions, a fervour.

    “Madrid is unique. Everyone around the world tells me about this club. And apart from that, I like it.
    “I’m quite a homebody but we do a lot of activities.”
    Vinicius has continually starred on the pitch for Real Madrid despite receiving racist abuse from opposition fans on numerous occasions.
    He has already won two LaLiga titles, the Copa del Rey and Champions League.
    He has also contributed three goals and three assists in 24 appearances for Brazil. More

    Pep Guardiola ‘made three-hour last-ditch bid’ to get Jude Bellingham at Man City before ace sealed Real Madrid transfer

    MANCHESTER CITY made a last-ditch attempt to sign Jude Bellingham before he went to Real Madrid, according to reports.The 20-year-old joined the Spanish side in a British record £115million deal from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

    But before he penned his six-year contract at the Santiago Bernabeu, Man City supposedly tried to convince him to join the Treble winners.
    Reports in Spain claim they offered the midfielder a lucrative deal and Pep Guardiola spoke to him on the phone for three hours.
    The manager is alleged to have tried to persuade Bellingham against a move to Real Madrid.
    It is claimed that Guardiola turned on the charm, explaining that playing in the Premier League would be best for him and that City are a stronger side than Los Blancos.

    However, his alleged attempt did not work and the boss conceded defeat as he ended the call and wished him luck for the rest of his career.
    Bellingham had reportedly already decided to join Real Madrid by the time Guardiola phoned.
    The club met with the wonderkid’s family and gave him a tour of their facilities with Vinicius Junior in attendance to help him settle in.
    The Brazilian winger was texting him almost every day for a year to get Bellingham to become his team-mate.

    Taking to Instagram, Hazard, 32, reflected on his glittering 16-year career.
    He thanked all the clubs he played for throughout, and revealed he would now be looking to spend his time with his loved ones.
    Hazard said: “You must listen to yourself and say stop at the right time.
    “After 16 years and more than 700 matches played, I have decided to end my career as a professional footballer.

    Hazard spent seven years at Chelsea between 2012 and 2019, joining from Lille for a reported fee of £32million.
    He arrived in England with a glowing reputation from his time in France after helping Lille to a league and cup double in 2011.
    During his time with the Blues, Hazard became one of the best players in the Premier League.
    He achieved legendary status at Stamford Bridge after winning two league titles, two Europa League titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup while also winning the club’s Player of the Year award four times.
    Hazard even stood out among his peers across the league and national team.
    The winger won the 2014/15 Player of the Season award and won Belgium’s equivalent prize three years running from 2017 to 2019.
    In his final season in England, Hazard became one of just four players in Prem history to score more than 15 goals and assists in a single campaign, with 16 goals and 15 assists that year.
    He eventually switched Chelsea for Real Madrid after sealing a transfer with the potential to be worth £130m.
    However, the grass proved to not be greener in Madrid than in London.
    His career took a sharp decline in Spain as he became plagued with fitness issues.
    In the end Hazard managed just 76 appearances for the Spanish giants over his five years at the club, scoring just seven goals.
    He earned 126 caps for the Belgium Red Devils in his international career.
    Tributes to his iconic career poured in from former clubs, team-mates and ex-pros alike.

    Madrid beat off a host of Premier League competition from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and United to land the 20-year-old.
    Bellingham has scored eight goals in nine appearances for Los Blancos and inspired them to several late and key victories.
    And his team-mates appear to be delighted to have him alongside them – especially one.
    Brazilian forward Vinicius Jr revealed after Bellingham’s wonderstrike in the 3-2 Champions League win at Napoli just how much effort he had gone to in order to persuade the ex-Birmingham City man to sign.

    He said: “I wanted Jude at Real Madrid.
    “I sent many messages to Bellingham last year. I was texting [him] almost every day and I was telling him: ‘Come to Madrid’.”
    Meanwhile, Bellingham was keen to heap the praise on his new South American team-mate.
    He said of Vinicius Jr: “He’s probably the best in the world for me.

    “He’s one of the most talented players I’ve ever played with.”
    Even though he has only played for the club a matter of months, Bellingham has already equalled a number of stunning landmarks set by Madrid legend Ronaldo.
    The ace made his league debut in August and scored in a 2-0 win over Athletic Club.
    He then continued his red-hot start by scoring twice against Almeria and then clinched the win with a late goal over Celta Vigo in his third outing.
    That made Bellingham the first player since Ronaldo to score in each of his first three La Liga games for Madrid.
    But he wasn’t done there as he went on to hit a 95th-minute winner on his home Madrid debut against Getafe.
    That matched the Portuguese icon’s feat of scoring in his opening four Real games.
    Bellingham has equalled another feat set by Ronaldo after his Champions League strike against Napoli on Tuesday.

    After retiring as a player in 2017, he managed Madrid’s youths before three years in charge of the Real Sociedad B team.
    Admittedly, though, he’s been a huge success since landing the main position at Leverkusen 11 months ago.
    After guiding them to sixth in the Bundesliga last season, Leverkusen sit second this term – behind champions Bayern only on goal difference.

    Now Spain’s Radio MARCA say Madrid have identified Alonso for arguably the biggest job in club football.
    And it’s claimed his appointment is all but inevitable.

    Outgoing Ancelotti has won the Champions League four times as a boss  – twice with AC Milan, then once apiece in his two spells at the Bernabeu.

    But he had the incredible self-awareness not to step on the pristine Atletico crest as he made his way towards the dressing rooms.
