I will tell everybody, my whole life, that I had the chance to play here.”Mbappe’s statement in full
    Hi everyone, It’s Kylian.
I wanted to speak to you. I’ve always said that I would speak with you when the time comes. And so I wanted to announce to you all that it’s my last year at Paris Saint-Germain. I will not extend and the adventure will come to an end in a few weeks. I will play my last game at the Parc des Princes on Sunday.
It’s a lot of emotions, many years where I had the chance and the great honour to be a member of the biggest French club which allowed me to arrive here, to have my first experience in a club with a lot of pressure, to grow as a player of course by being alongside some of the best in history, some of the greatest champions. To meet a lot of people, to grow as a man as well with all the glory and mistakes I’ve made.
First of all, I want to thank the team-mates, all of the team-mates that I had. All the coaches: Unai Emery, Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino, Christophe Galtier and Luis Enrique. The sports directors Leonardo and Luis Campos for always accompanying me. All the staff members at the club, those nobody see, the folks in the shadow. Whether it’s the physios, the intendants, the performance team, all the office staff members, the ones at campus, everybody.
All these incredible people who give everything to the club and they deserve to have this recognition. Despite everything that can happen on the outside, all this media hype that surrounds the club sometimes, there are some real club lovers who want to protect it and make it shine and it’s great. And I know that with all these people, this club is in great hands.
It’s hard, hard. And I never thought it would be this difficult to announce that, to leave my country, France, the Ligue 1, a championship I have always known. But I think I needed this. A new challenge after seven years.
It’s difficult and of course there are some people I want to thank above all, these are the fans. I know I’m not the most demonstrative player. I haven’t always lived up to the love you all gave me for seven years, but I have never wanted to cheat, I have always wanted to be effective.
PSG is a club that never leaves anyone indifferent. We can love it or hate it, I made the choice of loving it. And I did for seven years with ups and downs, of course, but I do not regret at any moment signing with this prestigious club. It’s a club that I will keep in my memory my entire life. I will tell everybody, my whole life, that I had the chance to play here. And I won’t be a player anymore, but I will continue to watch every game of course, because it’s a club that I will always be interested in and I will always closely follow its news.
It was me with my qualities and defects but I tried to give the best version of myself during those seven years.
But beforehand I want to say thank you, because without you all I would have never experienced half of the emotions I felt. And just for that, I am grateful for life.
Thank you all. I hope we will finish this year with a last trophy. We are going to have good moments for what’s left and believe that you will remain in my heart forever.
    Ici, c’est Paris. Goodbye.

He has managed a number of personal accolades with the club during his stint in which he scored a jaw-dropping 255 goals and registered 108 assists in his 306 appearances. There’s still time to add to that tally with PSG having three more league games and the French Cup final still to play before the season ends. But this Sunday’s clash with Tolouse will by Mbappe’s final game at the Parc des Princes with the remaining fixtures all away from home. His incredible form over his seven years in Paris have seen him become a common name in the conversation for the Ballon d’Or.While his importance to PSG has always been reflected in his role in the team and his mammoth wages. It’s estimated that the deal penned by Mbappe back in 2022 saw him pocket around £893,000 per week to keep him in situ.Real Madrid are understood to be unwilling to spend the same level of money on the global superstar with their wage structure meaning the astronomical fee would blow some of their biggest stars out of the water.READ MORE SUN STORIESBut the lure of signing for the serial Champions League winners may be enough for Mbappe who will be hoping to add European glory to his trophy cabinet having already won the World Cup with France in 2018.Real Madrid appear to be assembling a new era of Galacticos at the Bernabeu with Mbappe set to join names like Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo and Fererico Valverde if he makes the move.Mbappe’s PSG career

Man Utd fans say Tuchel has ‘passed his audition’ after bizarre Kane sub against Real Madrid sparks ‘disasterclass’

MANCHESTER UNITED fans joked Thomas Tuchel had “passed his audition” after a “disasterclass” against Real Madrid. The German coach, 50, has announced that he is leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season.Thomas Tuchel is facing questions after his late tactical changesCredit: ReutersHarry Kane was subbed off just before Real Madrid equalisedCredit: GettyAs pressure continues to mount on Erik ten Hag after a dire campaign at Old Trafford, Tuchel has found himself linked with the job at United.Despite missing out on the Bundesliga title for the first time in 11 years, the ex-Chelsea manager was hoping to bow out of Bayern by leading them to Champions League glory. However, that dream went up in smoke as he and his side suffered heartbreak in the Spanish capital.Real Madrid snatched an incredible victory at the death to seal their place at Wembley.READ MORE ON FOOTBALLBayern looked to be going through after a rocket from Alphonso Davies put them ahead with just 22 minutes to go.They looked to be comfortable heading towards full time and holding Madrid at bay until disaster struck.Real sub Joselu grabbed an 88th-minute equaliser after latching on to a mistake from Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. Then seconds later the ex-Stoke City and Newcastle flop finished from six yards to win it 2-1.Most read in FootballCASINO SPECIAL – BEST CASINO WELCOME OFFERSThe 34-year-old Spaniard’s introduction proved to be a masterstroke – but that was not the only substitution that proved to be a major talking point.Firstly, Tuchel brought on Kim Min-jae for attacker Leroy Sane on 76 minutes despite the South Korean’s nightmare in last week’s first leg, switching to three at the back.Watch Harry Kane speak German for first time in Audi advert with Muller as fans say ‘does a Bafta count as a trophy?’But it was the decision to replace 44-goal top scorer Kane, who is still waiting for his first-piece of silverware, with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting on 86 minutes that left everyone baffled.Ex-Real Madrid star Steve McManaman was commentating on TNT Sports and said: “The best number nine around is off the pitch.”Winger Jamal Musiala was also replaced by Thomas Muller at the same time – and those decisions completely backfired.Speaking on TNT Sports, ex-Bayern and Man United ace Owen Hargreaves said: “I’ll tell you what was unexpected, Harry Kane going off the pitch.“That’s one of the biggest subs I’ve ever seen in a game of football of that magnitude.“To take off a guy that’s scored 44 goals, who is the most durable player pretty much anywhere and you bring on another striker in Choupo-Moting. Maybe he wanted height for corners, I don’t know.“You cannot take him off. There’s five minutes left in the game, there’s ten minutes of extra-time, 15 minutes. I said to Scholesy straight away, they’re going to score.“That’s one of the biggest calls. I love Thomas Tuchel. I don’t know why they made that call. Kim came on ten minutes before that and they were quite comfy.“They went from a back four to a back three. Bayern had it in their hands and they let it go. The mistake from Neuer obviously but everybody’s going to be talking about the subs, you cannot take Harry Kane off.”United legend Scholes then added: “It ended up a game of substitutions. Good ones for Real Madrid. Joselu with the two goals, brilliant. Wins his team the game. Neuer makes a huge mistake which he’ll be disappointed with.“I thought Tuchel’s substitutions were strange. Kane was strange. Even if they get one goal, there’s still extra-time, penalties to come as well, you know how strong he is.“Kim was the stranger one. I thought they looked quite comfortable in the game up until that point. They go to three at the back. Kim coming off last week was a disaster for him and again he looked a little bit all over the place.”And, amid the recent speculation linking him with Old Trafford, it did not take long for fans to start sticking the boot in online. One joked: “Thomas Tuchel doing his best Manchester United 23/24 impression by conceding 2 in quick succession.“This guy has passed the audition.”Along with a laughing emoji, another post read: “Manchester united fans watching This Tuchel disaster class & there are linked to him.”A third commented: “Tuchel has completely thrown away that game with his poor subs.READ MORE SUN STORIES“Quite typical for Utd fans to get gassed in the moment and lose the plot. He is far from what this club needs moving forward.”While a fourth added: “Tuchel taking off Kane and Musiala only to lose his lead within minutes is so banter-ish that he can only be heading to Man Utd this summer.”Pundits’ verdict on Ten Hag’s futureWhere do the pundits stand on Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United future?
Michael Owen – He has to go
“He cannot, simply cannot, manage this team next season. He’s not good enough.”
Teddy Sheringham – Might stay if he wins Cup but should go
“If United win the FA Cup, he could stay. But, for me, changes are needed and United need to get it done sooner than later.”
    Jamie Carragher – Sacked
“I don’t see how Erik ten Hag stays. It’s just performance after performance.”
Gary Neville – Stay if he wins the FA Cup
“To sack a manager who’s won two trophies in his first two seasons at the club I think would be extreme.”
Louis Saha – On the fence
“I don’t see it as clearly but they need changes from the players but they need changes from him as well.”
    Alan Shearer – Sacked
“I believe the future of the Man Utd manager is already determined. Even if they win the FA Cup I think he’s gone.” More
