Kylian Mbappe ‘willing to take pay cut’ to complete Real Madrid transfer in blow to Liverpool and Man Utd

KYLIAN MBAPPE is willing to take a pay cut to sign for Real Madrid, according to reports.
Paris Saint-Germain are determined to hold onto the French forward, whose contract expires in 2022.

But advances from Madrid are growing with more and more reports that an offer will be launched next summer.
Should a bid land, Mbappe will reportedly do what he can to make the deal happen.
That includes, according to Spanish show El Chiringuito, cutting his salary.

Mbappe is thought to earn £375,000-a-week in Paris after signing from Monaco in 2017.
Talks between PSG and the 21-year-old over a contract renewal have reportedly focused on bumping his wage up to £600,000-a-week.
Yet money may be no issue if Mbappe gets the green light to join Real.
Los Blancos hope PSG will not put up much of a fight if the player has already made up his mind.

A transfer fee of just £111million has been touted for the World Cup winner.

Such a price could even entice Premier League clubs such as Liverpool or Manchester United into making a bid.
But Madrid are certainly the frontrunners in any Mbappe deal, with the striker calling Real boss Zinedine Zidane his childhood “idol”.
He said in January: “I’ve had phases. To start, as a child, it was Zidane.
“If you’re a boy and you’re French, your idol is Zidane.

Real Madrid already have one of the highest wage bills in the world

“After that, it was Cristiano [Ronaldo] and I’ve been lucky enough to face him. Then it was the Brazilian Ronaldo for the way he played.”
The previous year, Zidane had remarked: “You know that I have known [Mbappe] for a long time.
“I am already in love with him, firstly as a person, because he came to do a trial here a long time ago.”

Man Utd transfer target Gareth Bale ‘erased’ by Real Madrid with shirts taken down from club shop and not in ANY plans

REAL MADRID appear to have moved on from Gareth Bale as Manchester United prepare a bid for the outcast winger.
Zinedine Zidane has made it clear that he no longer wants the Welshman but, with two years left on his contract, the pair are at an impasse.

    1

Gareth Bale played twice for Wales earlier in the month but is out of action for Real Madrid

Only the world’s wealthiest clubs could afford to take Bale and his £650,000 weekly wage off Real’s books.
And, with the player said to be adamant that he has done nothing wrong, he will not accept a miserly offer to leave Madrid.
Marca report on the Bernabeu club shop taking down any reference to Bale and his No11 shirt.
It follows his absence from Real’s recent release of their third kit, which featured almost every other recognisable face in Zidane’s squad.

Meanwhile, Bale works alone in the Valdebebas gym, away from the first-team’s pre-season sessions.
The word is that the 31-year-old is suffering from a knee problem but, officially, the diagnosis remains a mystery.
That is because, according to reports in Spain, Bale is deploying data protection laws to prevent medical information from being released without his consent.
This use of the law was first discussed last year but it is understood that Bale is once again ensuring his injury condition remains off the record.

Real hope to find a buyer for their £85million purchase before the October 5 window.

With Tottenham reportedly not in the running, SunSport believe Manchester United to be the primary contender.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is getting tired of the club’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho and has not ruled out an experienced player, such as Bale, being drafted in later in the window.
Real could demand an £18.5m transfer fee if a loan deal cannot be thrashed out.

Mbappe’s PSG transfer request sends Spanish press into frenzy as they tell Real Madrid target ‘we’re waiting for you’

KYLIAN MBAPPE’S stunning Paris Saint-Germain transfer request has sent the Spanish press into a frenzy.
The World Cup winner, 21, has been most strongly linked with a record-breaking £400million move to Real Madrid.

The Spanish press went into overdrive after Mbappe signalled his intention to leave PSG

    3

Marca told Mbappe ‘we’re waiting for you’ on their front page

French icon Mbappe idolises fellow countryman Zinedine Zidane – but Manchester United, City and Liverpool are also keen.

Now the biggest Spanish papers have ramped up the hype by telling the striker: “We’re waiting for you.”
Madrid-based Marca splashed that rather ominous message across their front page.

They then go onto claim that Bernabeu bosses will wait to see how Mbappe’s situation evolves over the coming year.
Crucially, they report Real – famed for their Galactico transfer policy – will not contact Ligue 1 champs PSG straight away over a deal.
Marca’s rival AS had the headline: “Mbappe takes the plunge.”
Their report ties in with previous stories saying Real chiefs will wait until next summer before making a move.

That could form part of a mega £261m splurge designed to bring in Mbappe, Dortmund star Erling Haaland and Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

Mbappe is contracted with PSG – who had Neymar and others sent off during a huge brawl in the shock 1-0 loss to Marseille last night – until 2022 so they will need to sell him next summer to cash in.
If he does not sign a new deal then he could leave as a free agent after that – but that seems unthinkable.
Mbappe is already on £15m a year and will expect to see that huge salary rise by another £5m when he moves.
Any club that plans to sign him will want his signature on a five-year deal.
That will mean a total of £100m in wages plus, almost double the £165m PSG paid Monaco for him in 2018.
City, United and Real will not baulk at such a staggering outlay, although Liverpool’s owners FSG will blink.

    3

The Premier League champions may have spent £310m on a collection of stars between 2017 and 2018.
But over the last 12 months the American owners have brought in players worth just over £20m and over the same time scale have made a net profit on deals of £32m.
Going for Mbappe would require the sale of one of their Fab three of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
Senegalese frontman Mane would be the most likely to go if he asked for a move and has so far ignored Liverpool’s effort to get him to extend his stay for two years beyond 2023.
Real would love to have him – as they would Mbappe – and he would command a fee of £150m.

Real Madrid to go ‘all out’ in 2021 with Kylian Mbappe, Dayot Upamecano and Eduardo Camavinga all on Zidane’s radar

REAL MADRID are preparing three mega deals in 2021 with Kylian Mbappe, Dayot Upamecano and Eduardo Camavinga reportedly on their radar.
Following a hugely busy summer of 2019, no major signings have been made this time around with the focus on player sales.

    3

But the one year on, one year off pattern will see Real ready the cheque book for 12 months’ time with reports of a triple swoop.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Los Blancos will push hard to sign French trio Mbappe, Upamecano and Camavinga.
Paris Saint-Germain forward Mbappe would naturally be the headline arrival and one of the biggest transfers to ever take place, if Real can pull it off.

The 21-year-old’s contract expires in 2022 and, if no renewal occurs in the coming year, Madrid will fancy their chances.
Much will depend on PSG’s ability to convince Mbappe that they can finally win the Champions League.
Real reportedly hope their greater affinity with the competition will convince the striker to desire the move, but Les Parisiens’ jaunt to this summer’s final may be a sign of things to come.
Reports earlier in the year suggested PSG were ready to make Mbappe one of the world’s highest-paid sports stars with a ridiculous £900,000-a-week offer to extend his stay.

Whether that will be enough to halt the LaLiga giants’ advances remains to be seen.
    CAM AND GET IT
The situation with teen sensation Camavinga is far more straightforward.
Committing to Rennes for another year, the midfielder appears set for a move next summer.
He stated last month: “I have two years of contract left, I will be with Rennes this season. [The speculation] doesn’t bother me at all.”
Yet, Real are not the only major side hoping to tempt him into a big move.

Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keen too with Rennes wanting around £37m for their 17-year-old starlet.
Both clubs will rival Madrid for RB Leipzig defender Upamecano, it is also believed.
And, like Camavinga, the winning bidder could be whoever convinces the player that they are best set for success – given the relatively small fee involved.
In signing a new three-year deal with Leipzig this summer, the centre-back, 21, reportedly lowered his release clause.

The new £41.5m buyout is widely considered a snip for one of the globe’s top young defenders.
Should Madrid fail to land Upamecano, Benoit Badiashile is named as their back-up option with the Monaco defender also interesting Manchester United.
Indeed, the old rivals may be due for another face-off in the market in years to come.
Red Devils target Erling Haaland is reportedly the big name Zinedine Zidane is desperate to land in 2022.

It sparked a transfer pursuit with Arsenal said to be interested in the stopper.

“Fulham is a historic club in London and I have heard a lot about the stadium.
“I hope this season will be a good one for us. I want to bring my energy and do everything for this team to keep us where we belong to be.”
The Frenchman was keen to move on from PSG as he bids to keep his place as France’s third-choice stopper for the European Championships next summer.

It is understood he also favoured a move to the capital, having brought a house in London.

Alphonse Areola ‘passes Fulham medical’ ahead of shock transfer from PSG in blow to Arsenal

ALPHONSE AREOLA has passed his medical at Fulham ahead of a transfer, reports say.
The French keeper spent last season at Real Madrid providing back up for Thibaut Courtois, 28.

Alphonse Areola passed his medical at Fulham ahead of a transfer
But having returned to PSG, the Ligue 1 champions have no plans to keep him.
It sparked a transfer pursuit with Arsenal said to be interested in the stopper, but appear to have been edged out by London rivals Fulham.
According to RMC, Areola has completed a medical with the Premier League side, who beat Brentford in the play-off finals last season.
The 27-year-old is believed to have agreed a loan move with Scott Parker’s side.

Areola was keen to move on from PSG as he bids to keep his place as France’s third-choice stopper for the European Championships next summer.
It is understood he also favoured a move to the capital, having brought a house in London.
Marcus Bettinelli, 28, started last season as Fulham’s No1, but was replaced by Marek Rodak, 23.

Areola is now expected to compete as No1, despite Arsenal’s interest in bringing him in as back-up stopper.

Real Madrid ‘ready to accept cut-price £22m for Gareth Bale’ putting Man Utd and Tottenham on transfer alert

REAL MADRID are ready to let Gareth Bale leave for £22million, Spanish reports say.
The 31-year-old has grown increasingly frustrated in the Spanish capital, managing only 14 starts last season.

    1

Real Madrid are reportedly ready to let Gareth Bale leave for £22m
But according to Mundo Deportivo, manager Zinedine Zidane and the Bernabeu board are willing to let the Welshman leave.
And they will lower their asking price to £22m, having refused to pay off the remaining two years of his contract worth £30.2m.
Manchester United and Tottenham have both been linked with the forward in the past.
But Bale’s £600,000 a week wages have proved a stumbling block previously.

It is now understood the former Spurs winger is open to taking a pay cut if it means ending his Madrid misery.
United are in the market for a wideman, having so far failed to meet Borussia Dortmund’s £109m asking price for 20-year-old Jadon Sancho.
Bale was close to sealing a move to China last summer, until Madrid blocked the transfer at the last minute.

But they are now happy for the him to leave as they attempt to offset their wage bill and recoup transfer funds.

It comes after James Rodriquez, 29, was sold to Everton for £20m.
Zidane is said to be meeting Bale this week to discuss his future at the club.
The unwanted player already revealed Madrid have made it hard for him to leave in the past.
Bale told Sky Sports: “There have been other instances where we have tried to go but the club won’t allow it or they have done something.
“What can I say? I want to play football. I am still motivated to play football so I guess it is on the club really.
“I can’t do anything, they are in control of everything
“I have a contract so all I can do is carry on what I am doing an hopefully something comes up.
“It is in the club’s hands and they have made things very difficult to be honest.”

Man Utd forced to make Sergio Reguilon transfer decision ‘soon’ as Sevilla ask to have him back on loan from Real Madrid

MANCHESTER UNITED will have to make a quick decision on whether to sign Sergio Reguilon on loan.
It comes after United were believed to have been offered the Real Madrid defender on loan.

    1

Man Utd will have to make a quick decision on whether to sign Sergio Reguilon on loanAccording to Fabrizio Romano, the Old Trafford board are deciding “soon” on whether to take on the left-back.
But they will be rushed into making up their minds as Sevilla – who Reguilon played for last season – also want to bring back the 23-year-old.
The Spain international enjoyed a breakthrough season in Seville last term having been loaned out by Real Madrid.
He made 38 appearances and lifted the Europa League trophy.

And despite being voted LaLiga’s best left-back, Bernabeu boss Zinedine Zidane has no plans for Reguilon to stay in the capital this season.
But if the league champions wish to keep him on their books, the full-back could spend another season out on loan.
PSG, Juventus, Napoli and Tottenham are also among those interested in signing the player.

But United remain frontrunners to sign him, with Solskjaer keen to bolster his options at left-back and provide competition for places.

Luke Shaw remains injury prone while Brandon Williams is regarded as one for the future after his emergence.
Reguilon currently has no space in the Madrid side, with Ferland Mendy overtaking Marcelo as the club’s preferred left-back.
