The Hollywood star then jetted from Manchester airport to New Jersey and was snapped on Tuesday walking in New York with wife Blake Lively.
The Canadian actor and co-owner Rob McElhenney, both 45, were jubilant as big-spending Wrexham went three points clear in the National League.

Now Reynolds is purchasing a £1.5million home in Marford, about five miles from the North Wales city.
And he was pictured bantering in the tunnel with hero keeper Ben Foster following a top-of-the-table twist as thrilling as any Hollywood script.

And Reynolds told him after his spot-kick block: “Oh my God! You son of a b***! What was that about? You’re too old for that!”
The silver-screen icon labelled the finale the “most dramatic thing I’ve ever seen in my life!”
Reynolds later added: “I don’t feel like I have a heart anymore. I feel like I used all the beats that I had left during that match.
‘That was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before and indicative of course of all you lifers who have watched and participated in this game, this beautiful, tortuous game forever.” More

Moment Rangers fans attack pub after cup final before being chased off by ‘Celtic maws’

THIS is the moment a mob of Rangers fans attacked a pub before being chased off by a group of “Celtic maws”.The CCTV camera footage shows the group, mostly dressed in all black with hoods and balaclavas on, charging at the Glasgow boozer.

It also shows people throwing traffic cones and pyrotechnics at the PJ Neeson pub on Allison Street in the city’s Govanhill around 5:15pm on Sunday.
We previously told how lit flares were thrown into the boozer and a man’s shirt caught fire after Sunday’s Old Firm League Cup final where Celtic beat Rangers 2-1.
But the newly-emerged security footage shows how a group of women rushed from the under-attack pub to challenge the footie yobs.
One woman – holding what appears to be a pool cue – ran out to confront one of the masked hooligans.

She was filmed kicking at him in the middle of the road as others rushed to get between the pair.
Other women ran from the pub and into the road to fend off the yobs and pulled the first woman back to the pavement.
The footage went viral after being shared on social media, gathering over 3,000 likes.
And the women who ran out to confront the hooligans have been branded “Celtic maws” by social media users.

Fans were quick to react to the clip, with one playing a pun on a classic song by The Clash, joking: “I fought the maws and the maws won.”
Police were called to the area after the trouble flared up following the final.
But officers confirmed that the crowds were dispersed and no arrests were made.
P.J Neeson previously declined to comment when approached by the Scottish Sun.
It comes as four people were arrested after the match as cops probe an alleged pre-match ‘hooligan brawl’.
Police confirmed they nicked four people for disorder-related offences in response to a number of alleged incidents.
It followed a street battle between hooligans from both sides hours before the final.
The fans were seen in Glasgow’s southside after swarming towards each other at the west and north sides of the ground before breakfast time.
It’s believed cops will crack down hard on the two groups of ‘ultras’ and will use social media videos to help find those involved.
But the brawl has led to a top cup saying footie ultras should be BANNED from getting early access to stadiums to lay out banners.

I’m a Man Utd legend who went viral as ‘old man down the pub’… people think I’m weird and don’t get my sense of humour

MANCHESTER UNITED legend Brian McClair has revealed all about the recent photo that saw him go viral. The ex-forward was a big part of Sir Alex Ferguson’s first decade at Old Trafford, playing for them between 1987 and 1998 after arriving from Celtic.

The Old Trafford legend went viral after this snap of him at the pub was shared onlineCredit: Twitter @BanditBus
He made well over 350 appearances during that time before heading to his Scottish homeland to finish his career with Motherwell.
The 59-year-old has since started coaching, with a brief stint as assistant manager at Blackburn followed by a return to United.
He was employed as the club’s youth academy director between 2006 and 2015 but these days he is enjoying great success with his Life of Brian podcast – which has just been named as the most popular sports podcast in Costa Rica.
However, that is not what he hit the headlines for over recent weeks, instead it was a visit to the boozer that had him trending.

McClair was photographed in a Manchester pub named the Gold Cup, only he looked completely unrecognisable from his Premier League-winning heyday with long hair and a long grey beard.
Speaking to The Telegraph, he revealed: “It started in lockdown.
“I just thought: let things grow, see where we end up. Then before Christmas I decided to have a tidy up, but I never got round to it.
“I was out one night and next thing I see I’m trending on social media as ‘old man down the pub’.

“I’ve had the trim since. You’ll be disappointed to hear I look a wee bit less as though I’ve been cast away on a desert island.”
McClair, who won 14 trophies, including four league titles, admits that was just “another bizarre thing in my life”.
He said: “I think I’m normal, others think I’m weird. I tend to notice bizarre things, bizarre things come out of my head.”
The Scot managed to avoid doing interviews throughout his 11-year stay at Old Trafford – but he still managed to wind-up team-mates and the media with his “Choccy’s Diary” in the matchday programme.
He added: “It was very rare when I was a player I got inspired by questions.
“The other players say they never got my sense of humour. I take that as an accolade.
“In the dressing room plenty of things I said were said to find things out about them. I was interested in what made them tick.”
McClair added: “I was always happy to start a debate. A lot of players want to win at that.
“I remember Gary Pallister in particular always wanted to get the last word.

Conor McGregor to hold talks with Eddie Hearn at his Dublin pub to secure £500,000 to host Katie Taylor fight in Ireland

CONOR McGREGOR is set to hold talks in his pub with Eddie Hearn in a bid to secure Katie Taylor’s next fight at Croke Park. Taylor is set to headline in Ireland for the first time in her career in a rematch on May 20 against Amanda Serrano.

Hearn eyed the 80,000-plus seater Croke Park for the historic occasion but revealed it would cost three times that of Wembley.
So UFC legend McGregor offered to help fund the extra £500,000 fees and will meet with Taylor’s promoter at his Black Forge pub in Dublin on Monday.
Hearn said: “I spoke to him a few times and I will be flying out to see him on Monday at the Black Forge.
“We have been communicating on Twitter messages. I noticed he followed me on Twitter and I saw his tweet that he wants to make Taylor’s Croke Park fight happen.

“He loves Katie Taylor and he would love to help get it at Croke Park.
“I haven’t given up but there is probably a €600,000-£700,000 deficit of where we need to be. Maybe he can fill that.
“But it’s not a publicity stunt, I think he feels like it would be cool to be a part of that.”
Boxing is set to return to Ireland for the first time since 2014 with the 3Arena the frontrunner to host.

Taylor, 36, beat Serrano, 34, in their New York thriller at Madison Square Garden last April, for the undisputed lightweight crown.
Serrano moved back down to featherweight to achieve the same feat, beating Erika Cruz, 32, for all four belts.
And it set her up with a rematch against Taylor – both as undisputed champions – which was announced after her win over Cruz.
But the cost of paying the pair of boxing stars means Hearn may be forced into an arena fight opposed to Croke Park stadium, for now.
I spoke to him a few times and I will be flying out to see him on Monday at the Black Forge.Eddie Hearn on Conor McGregor
He said: “It’s not just a case of Katie deserves it, pay it.
“Because Katie Taylor deserves to get paid and she has a number that she wants to get paid for that fight and so does Amanda Serrano.
“If we do it at Croke Park, we lose money. I’m not doing it. I’m not losing money on a fight like that.
“So what I’m talking to Conor about is potentially bridging that gap but more importantly looking at why the costs are so high, can we overcome them in May, or can we all work together to do the first fight at the 3Arena, and then a September fight at Croke Park.
“Whether that’s Taylor-Serrano 3 or more than likely Chantelle Cameron.

The pub in question is the Mudlark on Montague Close, according to eyewitnesses.
In the shocking video, a group of yobs can be seen walking down the street when a man who appeared from a pub in a red-and-white scarf started shouting at them.
Witnesses said that the group – who were singing football chants believed to be associated with Millwall – turned back from a tunnel and started heading back to the boozer.
Shocked onlookers watched as the thugs started pushing and shoving aggressively – trying to get into the pub and at the man.

And things escalated further when they started throwing bottles and trying to kick down the door of the pub according to an eyewitness.
More and more people can be seen flooding out of the pub as a full-on brawl explodes.
Groups of men can be seen grappling and throwing punches in broad daylight.
At one point a man who came out of the pub picked up a metal pole and began brandishing it at the alleged Millwall fans.

He can be seen picking up the pole and waving it threateningly as the thugs back up to the tunnel.
Eventually a man who appears to be a bouncer or staff member at the pub manages to calm him down enough to relieve him of his makeshift weapon.
At the end of the footage, a couple more young men are seen scrapping near the entrance to the tunnel when one trips over.
He is then set upon by a few thugs who appear to launch kicks at punches at him that an eyewitness says left him “knocked out”.
Cops said that one man was hospitalised as a result of the brawl while one man was arrested on “suspicion of violent disorder”.
An eyewitness told The Sun of the “horrifying” scenes that took place in broad daylight.
She said: “We were walking over London Bridge when we heard shouting and football chanting which sounded like Millwall chants.
“We stuck our heads over the side of the bridge and the Millwall fans had seemed to go back into the tunnel.
“A man came out of the pub wearing red and white scarf, I think he’s a Sunderland supporter, and started shouting at them – all of the Millwall fans turned back walking towards him.”
    ‘CHAOS’
The eyewitness continued: “A bouncer or staff member told the Sunderland fan to get back in pub but the Millwall fans started throwing bottles and trying to kick down the door of the pub to get inside.
“They were hanging outside the pub for a little bit but a fight broke out as it escalated as more and more people came out.
“One guy had the pole used to separate the queues and came out of the pub and was swinging it. He tried to start chase guys back down tunnel with bollard backed up by other people from the pub.”
She added: “One guy started chasing Millwall fans who fell over they started kicking him and kicking him in head and it looked like he was knocked out – it was chaos.
“There were a lot of tourists walking along the bridge who were shocked and horrified to see the violence out in the open.”
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Police were called at 14:34hrs on Saturday, 4 February, to reports of a group of people fighting outside a pub in Montague Close, SE1.
“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service. One man was taken to hospital with an injury to his face. His condition is not life-threatening.

Pub which has iconic place in history of football to be bulldozed

A PUB where the modern rules of football were first agreed is being knocked down. The Plough Inn — considered to be the home of the beautiful game — will make way for eight houses after a bid to save it was lost.
The boozer in Crosspool, Sheffield, was under a protection order as an asset of community value and plans for the homes were initially rejectedCredit: Crosthwaite Commercial
The pub is thought to have hosted discussions which led to the introduction of throw-ins, headers and the offside rule.
It also sits next to the oldest football ground in the world.
The boozer in Crosspool, Sheffield, was under a protection order as an asset of community value and plans for the homes were initially rejected.
But developers appealed and a planning inspector has overturned Sheffield council’s decision, allowing the three-bed houses to be built.

The bulldozers moved in last week.
Campaigners have battled for years to save The Plough, which closed in 2015.
Henrietta Billings, of SAVE Britain’s Heritage, said: “It’s shocking to see such an important part of football’s history bulldozed. It should never have been the final whistle for this historic landmark.”
The Campaign for Real Ale said it was a missed opportunity to develop it as a pub with a football museum.

Heritage officer Dave Pickersgill said: “Football tourism is huge and people come from all over to visit the world’s two oldest clubs Sheffield FC and Hallam.”
The pub was where Sheffield clubs devised their rules from the 1850s.
They were then merged with rival regulations in London. More

He would go on to become the record goalscorer for the Red Devils – but would occasionally clash with his manager and find trouble off the field.
Rooney recalled one of his first awkward moments with Ferguson in his book “Wayne Rooney: My Decade in the Premier League”.
The star, who currently manages DC United, reminisced about an incident where Ferguson caught him in a pub not long after his transfer.

“I was only there for 10 or 15 minutes before I went home, but a day later, the manager called me into his office. My first summons.
“[Ferguson said] ‘Wayne, what were you doing in that pub in Croxteth yesterday?'”
