Fans fear for Man Utd stars as they spot Erik ten Hag’s furious reaction after conceding last-minute goal against Palace

And United manager Ten Hag, 52, was NOT happy.
Cameras captured the Dutchman furiously heading back to the dressing room after the game.
The Old Trafford gaffer shook his head and had a steely look in his eye after seeing his side fail to record a tenth win on the bounce.
Ten Hag has built a reputation as a strict disciplinarian in his short time at United, and hauled his players in for extra running following the 4-0 defeat at Brentford in August.

He also made his players do push-ups as forfeits in training over the summer.
So United fans reckon the players could be in for some more tough love following last night’s result, based on Ten Hag’s reaction.
Reacting to a video of the manager shaking his head furiously, one supporter wrote on social media: “He’s going to make our players do push ups at the parking lot.”
    Another joked: “Hairdryer treatment incoming!”

A third said: “These players are in for a BRUTAL post matchday training session.”
And a fourth quipped: “Lmao whole team is in trouble today.”
United came away from Selhurst Park with a draw, but things could have been worse had it not been for an incredible Aaron Wan-Bissaka slide tackle to stop Wilfried Zaha deep in added time.
Ten Hag then blasted his players after the game for not going on to score a second goal after Bruno Fernandes put the Red Devils ahead with a clinical finish.
He grumbled: “We dropped two points. When you’re winning with two minutes to go…
“We have to invest more to get that second goal and then not be in that situation that a lucky moment costs you two points.
“We were 1-0 up. In the second half we had a lot of space to kill them and go for the second. I never saw we really went for the second goal.
“It’s difficult to say (why). I have to criticise my team. Go for the second.” More

But Red Devils supporters have been left raging after identifying a sneaky piece of gamesmanship in the lead-up to the goal.
Still images of the foul and the free-kick posted by Manchester Evening News journalist Liam Corless show that Palace moved the ball around five yards forward.
This was not seen by referee Robert Jones who allowed the set-piece to be taken from where the home side placed it.
Olise then stepped up and stuffed it into the top corner off the underside of the crossbar.

But Man Utd fans were not willing to let the moving of the free-kick go unmentioned.
Reacting on social media, one said: “Felt the same during the game [about the moving of the ball]! In all honesty the ref had an absolute mare last night but it won’t be spoken about much”.
Another added: “After the City game referees took full revenge against us, well done…”
A third said: “Exactly and it wasn’t even a foul to begin with”.

While a fourth responded: “Oh f** off, fuming again”.
Palace’s dramatic draw with United ended a run of nine wins in a row for Erik ten Hag’s side.

And the Dutch head coach was left frustrated that his side did not kill off the game when they were 1-0 in front.
He said: “We dropped two points. When you’re winning with two minutes to go…
“We have to invest more to get that second goal and then not be in that situation that a lucky moment costs you two points.

Evra takes cheeky dig at Roy Keane after David De Gea’s incredible performance in Man Utd draw against Crystal Palace

PATRICE EVRA has jumped to the defence of David De Gea with a jibe aimed at Roy Keane after the goalkeeper’s superb performance at Selhurst Park. De Gea put on a spectacular display against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night during Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with the London club, making multiple game changing saves.

Roy Keane has become infamous for his strong and controversial opinions on Manchester United and other clubs
The Spanish keeper has come under fire from Roy Keane over recent seasons after he has made mistakes in previous games.
Keane ranted about his displeasure with De Gea after he conceded against Spurs in 2020.
He said: “I’m shocked by that goal. I’ve watched a lot of football and to give away that goal I’m fuming.
“I’m staggered at Maguire and I’m sick to death of this goalkeeper.

“I would be fighting him at half-time, I would be swinging punches at that guy. I am flabbergasted.
“Maguire and De Gea, I wouldn’t even let them on the bus after the match. Get a taxi back to Manchester.”
He went on to say: “That’s not even going in the top corner. This is middle of the goal.
“That is not a great save, that’s his job, middle of the goal, good height for him. He should be catching that. That’s not even that high its middle of the goal.”

The former Man United midfielder has since picked up a reputation for criticising De Gea.
After the 32-year-old keeper’s masterclass on Wednesday night Patrice Evra has hit back at Keane on social media in defence of United’s number one.
He wrote: “Sweet dreams Roy Keane… gracias hermano David De Gea. No 3 points tonight guys but I’m really proud of you Manchester United.”
The Red Devil’s ended their nine match winning streak after Michael Olise slammed a stunning long range free kick into the top corner in added time.

Arsenal fans split on Leandro Trossard transfer with many annoyed as Brighton outcast trends on Twitter

ARSENAL fans are divided over the potential transfer of Leandro Trossard. The Gunners are reportedly in advanced talks to sign the Brighton winger but are yet to agree a fee.

But some Arsenal supporters feel Trossard, 28, is too old after the Gunners missed out on 22-year-old Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea.
Frustrated fans have made their feelings known – so much so that “he’s 28” began to trend on Twitter.
One fan said: “The key is that he’s 28, fallen out with the manager badly and has contract ending in summer with one year option. You can get a Kvara, Mitoma or Gnoto for less than £10million if scouted properly. He has no resale value and would never be a starter. We can’t let Brighton skin us on this.”
Another added: “He’s 28 and we don’t need forward anymore.”

And a third said: “He’s 28, not fast, can disrupt the flow in the dressing room with disciplinary issues the only advantage is that he plays both wings comfortably. This is a panic buy.”
But the majority fans are happy with Arsenal’s pursuit of Trossard as they feel he can make an impact in their title push with the Belgian able to play several positions.
Trossard has scored seven goals in 16 Premier League games this season but has fallen out with Seagulls manager Roberto De Zerbi so could be on the move.
One Arsenal fans dismissed worries about his age, saying: “He’s 28 he’s in his best years, got PL experience and a decent player for £20m it’s a no brainer surely.”

Another added: “Trossard is a baller I don’t care if he’s 28. We need readymade players for the next six months. This is probably the best chance to win the league we will get, even if we do complete again. It’s on a plate for us.”
A third said: “He’s 28?? three to four years left in him! Why is it short-term? Can play anywhere across the front three. Premier League ready! Scores and assists, presses brilliantly.”
And another remarked: “‘But he’s 28’ some of our fanbase are clowns.” More

Man Utd Treble winner unrecognisable as he wins MasterChef sporting flowing grey ponytail

A MANCHESTER UNITED treble winner looks completely unrecognisable decades on from his days at Old Trafford and is now a MasterChef winner.Sir Alex Ferguson led his Red Devils to the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in a remarkable fortnight nearly 24 years ago.

The names that immediately spring to mind from that side are the likes of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Teddy Sheringham, David Beckham, Roy Keane and Paul Scholes.
But one man who many may have forgotten is a Swedish midfielder.
He made 25 Premier League appearances in that momentous season and also collected an FA Cup winners medal despite being an unused substitute in the final.
The ex-footie ace then started the Champions League final against Bayern Munich before being taken off for Teddy Sheringham – who would go on to score the equalising goal.

Shortly after United’s European triumph the Swede suffered a serious knee injury and never played for the club again.
And Man Utd fans may find it incredibly difficult to recognise him these days as he looks completely different to when he was gracing the Old Trafford pitch more than two decades ago.
The mystery footballer can be revealed as… Jesper Blomqvist.
Blomqvist is rocking a ponytail, beard, and does not possess the vibrant blonde hair he once had as a player.

    MasterChef? No problem.
The footie star-turned-cook won the competition beating TV personality Karl Fredriks.
On his win, he said on Instagram: “What a lovely competitor I had on the other side of the kitchen table in @karlfredrik.se and what an exciting final it was.
“Even though I knew the result, I got all sweaty watching it on TV.
“Incredibly happy, grateful and humble for the win, know that you Karl-Fredrik might as well have won, it was an incredibly tough & even final.
“The whole production has been amazingly funny, educational but also tough.
“Then it helps to have such awesome competitors, jury members and the rest of the recording team who supports, pepper and spurs 🙏💪🙌 thank you all for a wonderful adventure🙏❤️🙏❤️.”
What’s more, after a brief attempt at management, he found a new passion as he runs his own pizzeria.
Speaking to The Telegraph about his new life previously, he said: “I have to say it is tough when people ask me in the beginning, ‘What are you doing?’ And I say, ‘I have a pizzeria’. It was tough that people look down at you.
“Then I have to explain it’s the best pizzeria! Now I don’t care. People seem to be saying, ‘Are you down there? Have you lost all your money?’ I couldn’t care less.
“I can understand it and feel it myself. It’s not a problem. It’s just me who has to work with myself. Footballers have been very spoiled. It’s very easy to lose perspective and to get carried away and this money can destroy players.
“It’s the way it is, you have to learn to handle it and it’s difficult. I am so happy I was brought up in the north of Sweden where you keep your feet on the ground and you have to work hard.”
Blomqvist, 48, also explained why he decided to pack in management after just two years – where he coached Swedish sides Enkoping and Hammarby IF.
“Putting the team in front and not taking into consideration the human being behind the player – for me, that was the toughest challenge,” he added.
“I tend to look more at the human being. Ferguson was good at that. When it comes to winning games you can’t care about the human being.
“You have to be ruthless and sometimes I missed that. That’s my nature and it is hard to change.”

Blomqvist was back in a United shirt last summer.
He joined up with several other familiar names to line-up for Man Utd Legends against their Liverpool counterparts – but they suffered a 3-1 defeat to the Reds.

That is according to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports that the Giallorossi are open to selling the playmaker in the January transfer window.
The Italy international has just 18 months left in his contract and Roma chiefs have debated about whether to extend his deal.
Tottenham have been keeping tabs on the 23-year-old since August and their interest persists.
The North Londoners’ managing director Fabio Paratici has proposed a loan deal with an obligation to buy as long as certain terms are met.

West Ham are also eyeing the Italian after finding themselves in a relegation battle in the Premier League.
And Dortmund are still looking to bolster their attack after losing star striker Erling Haaland to Manchester City last summer.

However, Roma have slapped a €40million (£35m) release clause and won’t accept any offers below €35m (£31m).
In fact, Jose Mourinho’s side are already monitoring potential replacements in case Zaniolo leaves mid-season.

Wilfried Gnonto’s Di Canio-esque scissor kick underlines his simmering potential

JESSE MARSCH kept his cards close to his chest in the build-up to Wilfried Gnonto’s (£1.7m) summer transfer to Leeds.Speaking to the media when asked how the teenage forward would be used prior to the deal being unexpectedly finalised on deadline day, the American coach said that he didn’t think Italy’s youngest ever goalscorer would be ready for the Premier League this season.
Just four months on, it could be argued that Gnonto is the Whites’ most in-form player.
Riding a wave of praise from fans and pundits alike, the 19-year-old scored an impressive brace against Cardiff on Wednesday night to ensure his side’s progression to the FA fourth round.
And his first goal, a Paulo Di Canio-esque scissor volley after just 26 seconds, emphatically underlined his potential.
    A blossoming talent
Already there is speculation of where he might end up next but for now he’s for the Elland Road faithful to enjoy, and that they have in recent weeks.
Perhaps it’s time Dream Team bosses started paying attention to his progress too as he’s pouched 29 points across the last three Game Weeks.
He scored his first goal for the Yorkshire club against West Ham at the start of the month and his double against Championship opposition in midweek was a fitting reward for his efforts since he became a first team regular.
In both fixtures he was thoroughly deserving of the Star Man award.
A shade under 5ft 6in, Gnonto is a natural dribbler with a low centre of gravity and is seemingly able to wriggle under defenders at times.
    Most read in Dream Team
And like Wilfired Zaha (£4.9m) and Jack Grealish (£3.8m), he draws a lot of fouls, winning frequent free-kicks for his team in advantageous positions.
Gnonto is an increasingly important player for LeedsCredit: getty
Capable of playing as a centre-forward or a second striker, he has predominantly played from the left at Leeds and looked every bit a bold winger.
The stats boffins are excited about his progression numbers and the fans in stands love his nutmegs and fearless attitude.
Gnonto is still raw and his inexperience has been evident in how he’s picked up some needless yellow cards, something Dream Team manager will be wary of, but the fact he’s already got eight caps for Italy under his belt is testament to his talent.
Nobody at Leeds, not least Marsch, expected Gnonto to make waves this early in his career – his dad still drives him to training – but his form can’t be denied.
    A bright future aheadCredit: getty
His £4million transfer fee already looks like a smart bit of business.
Given the wealth of options up front, it would take a bold Dream Team gaffer to recruit Gnonto ahead of Game Week 19 but there may be some out there in need to a cut-price in-form forward.
Everyone else would be wise to monitor his progress as he certainly looks like one for the future. More
