But Nottingham manager Steve Cooper confirmed his No1 will be sidelined for “four to five weeks”.
The England international suffered the injury during last week’s 2-0 win over Leicester.
Cooper said: “It is certainly a discussion point.
“We have two League Cup games [against United] that Dean wouldn’t have played in anyway because of the loan ruling so we were always planning without him for those games.

“We need to get this weekend out of the way and see where we’re at after that.
“Dean is going to be out for four to five weeks, which is obviously a blow for all of us, especially him, but these things happen and we carry on with our work and will support Dean to get fit as quickly as possible.”
According to the BBC, Forest may have to turn to the January transfer market for reinforcement.
Second-choice keeper Wayne Hennessey will take over in goal during Henderson’s absence.

But there is an old foe standing in the way of the Londoners – and it is the only team to have beaten them in the Prem this season.
Erik ten Hag will bring his troops to the capital full of confidence – despite dropping points after Crystal Palace’s late leveller in the week.
To be even in title contention is a miracle for the Dutchman and his troops who has had many battles to win in the months he has been in the hotseat.
The biggest was with Cristiano Ronaldo – but the Dutchman emerged victorious as the Portuguese star’s contract was ripped up and he decided to play in Saudi Arabia.

Back in September Ten Hag guided United to an impressive 3-1 win against Arsenal at Old Trafford
But this Arsenal is a different beast. Even after being dealt the cruel blow of losing star signing Gabriel Jesus to injury, Arteta has rallied the troops to the highest level.
The likes of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Thomas Partey look almost unplayable right now.
Here, SunSport checks through all the stats ahead of the mouthwatering clash of the giants – and give a big match prediction.

    What is their form like?
The Arsenal bandwagon looks unstoppable at the moment.
They have lost just ONE game all season, and have won four and drawn one of their last five.
Man Utd are flying aswell – they have won four and drawn one of their last five games.
But they were dealt a sucker-punch last time out as Michael Olise scored a worldie free-kick to salvage Crystal Palace a 1-1 draw.
What is the team news and any injuries to worry about?
Arsenal will still be without summer-signing Gabriel Jesus who is out with a knee injury and also midfielder Reiss Nelson.
Mohamed Elneny will face a late fitness test, but would be on the bench at best.
For Man Utd, Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho are unavailable, Casemiro is suspended, and Anthony Martial is facing a battle to be fit.
Axel Tuanzebe, Diogo Dalot and Donny van de Beek are all ruled out with injury.

Who will be the star men?
Bukayo Saka is almost unplayable for Arsenal at the moment, the same can be said for a few of his team-mates too.
Marcus Rashford is already repaying his manager’s faith in him by becoming on of the Prem’s most lethal marksmen at the moment.

    What have the managers said?
After missing out on Mudryk to Chelsea, Arteta was quizzed after the Tottenham win on whether he needs more signings to finish with the title.
He replied: “We had some injuries, long-term injuries and it’s not helpful but we can focus on tomorrow. Train better, train better and review the game.
“We will try to improve the team. There are always a few parties involved.
“The club are willing and they have my support and I have their support.”
Ten Hag was fuming in the week after watching Michael Olise secured Crystal Palace an injury-time point in their clash.
He said: “When you’re winning with two minutes to go, we dropped two points.
“You don’t expect to drop points. We have to invest more to get that second goal and then not be in that situation that a lucky moment costs you two points.
“We were 1-0 up. In the second half we had a lot of space to kill them and go for the second. I never saw we really went for the second goal.
“I have to criticise my team. Go for the second.”

Chelsea face ‘unpredictable’ FFP future if they fail to qualify for Champions League after £445m transfer spree

CHELSEA could be set for an “unpredictable” FFP future should they fail to qualify for the Champions League. The Blues have splashed out £445million on 14 new players since last summer.

That figure could rise further after the club reportedly agreed on a deal to sign Noni Madueke from PSV for £35m.
However, should the club fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League they will miss out on vital financial benefits.
Having struggled during the first half of the season, Chelsea are ten points behind fourth-placed Newcastle.
Manager Graham Potter’s side will have to turn things around quickly in order to have a chance of reaching Europe’s premium competition.

This season the club are set to earn an estimated £81m from TV money, should they beat Borussia Dortmund and reach the round of 16.
However, failure to qualify for the European tournament next year could be damaging to the club’s finances, according to the Swiss Ramble.
The Premier League’s FFP rules state that clubs are allowed to lose £105m in a rolling three-year period.
However, there are adjustments for money spent on the club’s infrastructure on things such as the academy, community project and women’s teams.

Allowances have also been made to clubs as a result of the impact Covid-19 caused due to lack of matchday revenue.
Although UEFA has different rules as clubs are only allowed to lose £53m over three years.
Chelsea do have some factors in their favour as many of the players that have joined are on long contracts which helps spread the cost.
The club have also been reportedly interested in cutting some of its high-earners, such as Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz.
While Jorginho is also likely to leave as his contract expires at the end of the current season. More

Jesse Lingard made 232 appearances for Manchester United after making his debut in 2011
And Lingard revealed that it was drilled into players from a young age that they must follow three simple rules to keep the manager happy.
He said: “At [Manchester] United we’re brought up [being told] you’ve got to wear black boots, no gloves and no long bottoms in training.
“It’s just the basic things and you’re brought up with that.”

Many Man Utd fans were convinced this challenge by Palace’s Chris Richards on Scott McTominay should have brought a spot-kickCredit: Getty
Those two moments sparked some outlandish allegations on social media after United missed the win that would have put them second.
The most bizarre suggestion was: “They’ve rigged the league for Arsenal to win. What a disgraceful League this is, the Premier League do not deserve Manchester United.”
Another supporter posted: “It looked a pen in real time, the replay confirmed it? Not a good night for the integrity of referees, especially after VAR missed Martinez getting an elbow to the head.”
Sunsport’s refereeing expert and former prem whistler Mark Halsey believes McTominay “SHOULD” have got a spot-kick.

The Scot tumbled after Chris Richards stood across him.
But VAR official Neil Swarbrick declined to intervene as he felt ref Robert Jones had not made a clear and obvious error.
Most United fans, however, appeared to agree that Casemiro deserved his yellow card after he floored Wilfried Zaha with a reckless challenge.
And many observers suggested it could easily have been a red card.

The Red Devils were edging to victory through Bruno Fernandes’ neat finish when McTominay went sprawling.
Some United supporters labelled it a “stonewall” or “definite” penalty but others argued it was difficult to judge if Richards made contact with the ball or player.
But after the spot-kick row, Michael Olise snatched a draw for the Eagles in stoppage time with a brilliant free-kick.
And this post spoke for many Red Devils’ supporters: “Not only should that have been a pen, would’ve probably meant Rashford keeps his scoring form, win the game (2-0) and Casemiro is off without the yellow.
“Now we dropped 2 points and Casemiro is suspended. Absolutely gutted.” More
