Speaking to FGR media, the midfielder – who will wear the number 48 shirt – said: “I’m buzzing to be here. As soon as I found out Forest Green were interested, I just wanted to get down and get started.

Savage is a box-to-box midfielder who loves a tackle and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
However, he’s got a bit more to his game in terms of being a creative spark and is a good passer of the ball.
Last May, Savage was handed a contract with the Red Devils until at least 2025.
Last season, he made 23 starts for United’s Under-18s and 19 appearances for the Under-23 side. More

And Mikel Arteta is delighted to secure the services of the exciting young winger after months of negotiations.
Martinelli, who currently earns around £70,000-a-week, will become one of the club’s highest paid players after pledging his future to the Gunners for the foreseeable future.
Signed from Brazilian minnows Ituano for just £6million in 2019, he has emerged as one of the key figures in Arsenal’s  title challenge and has started all of their Premier League games this season.
Now the Prem leaders are stepping up their efforts to secure lucrative new deals for Bukayo Saka and William Saliba.

Both players are currently under contract to 2024, although Arsenal have an option to extend both by 12 months.
Arteta is relaxed about the situation and believes it is only a matter of time before agreement is reached to tie both players down.
But he wants to reward them with significant pay rises to reflect their importance to the team.
Martinelli’s new deal always looked likely too.

But Barcelona and Chelsea are previously thought to have shown interest.
And Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is also a big fan of Martinelli.
Klopp hailed him as “a talent of the century” after a 2019 EFL Cup tie, which ended 5-5 with Martinelli grabbing a brace.
Liverpool went on to win the game 5-4 on penalties.
But Klopp said in the aftermath of the then 18-year-old: “Martinelli’s pretty much the same age [as Liverpool defender Sepp Van De Berg] but he’s a talent of the century, he’s an incredible striker, so it’s really difficult.
“It was not in this game only. I watch a lot of football, so I saw the Europa League games of Arsenal.
“He’s 18 years old, right? So our scouting department is all over the world and stuff like this, but I think Edu gets all the credit for that signing – he came from… wherever.
“He’s really unbelievable. So young, looks so mature already, is a proper threat.

“Yeah, he looks like a really decent player.
“I didn’t want to put any backpack [pressure] on his back with this thing [his earlier remarks] but I just really like good football players and obviously he’s a very good one.” More

The row was sparked by Gordon going down softly in the penalty area under the challenge of Dan Burn, which left England star Trippier unimpressed.
Gordon then charged towards Trippier and the duo went head-to-head before Schar stepped in and repeatedly pushed the youngster away.
Shortly after, players from both teams were on the scene with Pope, Bruno Guimaraes and Amadou Onana all involved in shoving.

DANNY Drinkwater is a Premier League and FA cup winner who won three caps for England.Since a move to Chelsea in 2017, his career has suffered due to injuries and lack of game time. This is what we know.
Drinkwater struggled to hold down a regular starting place after joining Chelsea in 2017
    What happened to Danny Drinkwater?
A Manchester United youth team player, Drinkwater never made a first team appearance for the club, being loaned to Huddersfield, Cardiff, Watford and Barnsley.
In January 2012, he joined Leicester City. He helped the Foxes win the Championship in 2014 with 102 points, including 31 wins from their 46 games.
Alongside N’Golo Kante in midfield, Drinkwater was a key part of the Leicester team that defied all odds by winning the 2015/16 Premier League title.

The 2018/19 season saw Drinkwater make just one appearance, as then-manager Maurizio Sarri told him to find a new club.
He didn’t move immediately in order to stay with his son, but he finally left the Blues on loan in August 2019, signing for Burnley.
An unsuccessful time at Turf Moor was followed by an equally dismal temporary spell at Aston Villa.
He joined Turkish side Kasimpasa on another loan deal in 2021, making 11 appearances, before recapturing some form at Championship side Reading in the 2021/22 season.
Drinkwater made 33 appearances for the Royals, scoring once.
    Where is Danny Drinkwater now?
After the end of his loan spell at Reading, his Chelsea contract that he had signed in 2018 also expired.

He is currently without a club.
