The two undefeated heavyweights have been linked with a megafight for a long time but a deal is still being discussed.

SunSport reported that Krassuyk flew into London on Tuesday to finalise the undisputed showdown.
It’s been claimed that the sticking point is the purse split, which Usyk’s manager wants to be 50-50.

Fans all have same theory after Arsenal are awarded controversial pen vs Man City – and even Piers Morgan can’t see foul

FOOTBALL fans joked Arsenal were awarded a controversial penalty against Man City to make up for referees’ blunder weekend – and even Piers Morgan was mystified.Mikel Arteta was still seething four days on from the calamitous error by bungling VAR Lee Mason that let Brentford’s offside equaliser stand when the Citizens arrived in North London.

Just before half-time, ref Anthony Taylor pointed to the spot when Eddie Nketiah was bundled into by Ederson.
Nathan Ake cleared off the line but replacement VAR David Coote – who came in for John Brooks after his own howler at Selhurst Park – saw no reason to overturn Taylor’s on-field decision.
That was despite Gary Neville declaring on Twitter: “Not a pen that!”
And Gunners-mad Morgan added: “BOOOOOOOM! 1-1. Brilliant penalty by Saka (even if I have no idea why it was given… 🤣)”

Fans took to Twitter with a host of hilarious responses – claiming the penalty was soft but given to balance things out.
One said: “Arsenal were robbed over the weekend, so they’ve been gifted the equalizer here tonight.”
Another wrote: “There’s Arsenal’s reward paid back after that dodgy VAR from the weekend. So corrupt.”
A third added: “They felt sorry for Arsenal after the weekend. LOL this is what the refs in England are doing now.”
Most read in FootballIt was a harsh decision, says Mark HalseyBy Mark Halsey

ARSENAL’S first-half penalty when Ederson collided with Eddie Nketiah was a harsh decision by referee Anthony Taylor.
The Manchester City goalkeeper came out and Nketiah got his shot away before the momentum of both players saw a coming together so I wouldn’t have awarded a spot-kick.
This is the sort of incident you often see in the Premier League where no foul is given.
Taylor made a subjective call by pointing to the spot – which is what refs’ chief Howard Webb wants – and because it was not a clear and obvious error then VAR did not get involved.
However, had the penalty award not been given then VAR would not have intervened.
Ederson was already on a caution but this was not a second yellow card offence. Not every foul awarded on the field of play requires a card and Taylor deemed the challenge was careless rather than reckless.
It was a good spot by Taylor when he correctly waved away a penalty appeal when Leandro Trossard went down in the box as Kyle Walker came in to challenge.

Another quipped: “Dodgy decision at the weekend went against Arsenal so now they’re getting a soft penalty? P*** off.”
One typed: “Arsenal fans are you going to stop crying about PMGOL and refs now?”
A Manchester United fan replied: “Literally no Arsenal fan or player was even thinking of a pen in that play until the ref gave it.”
And a final user commented: “That penalty was given to Arsenal to try to make up for the incorrect offside call from the weekend.”

Bukayo Saka made no mistake from the spot, coolly rolling into the bottom corner and sending Ederson the wrong way to score the equaliser.
However, it wasn’t enough for Arsenal to secure a point with Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland netting in the second half as the champions won 3-1. More

Three ways Chelsea could line up with Neymar after opening transfer talks – but is PSG star missing piece of puzzle?

CHELSEA are reportedly chasing a stunning deal for Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar. But is the Brazilian ace the missing piece of the puzzle for Todd Boehly?
Could Neymar be the missing piece of the puzzle for Chelsea?Credit: Getty

The American is said to have jetted to France for talks with PSG’s owners over a summer deal for their talismanic forward.
Despite turning 31 this month, Neymar remains one of world football’s biggest names.
He has 117 goals in 172 games for PSG, and before his near-£200million move in 2017 he netted 105 times for Barcelona.
Neymar, who has a contract with PSG until 2025, reminded doubters of his worth with some superb performances for Brazil at the World Cup as he played through injury.

And his versatility makes him a great fit for Chelsea’s new-look squad of youngsters.
Graham Potter is tasked with turning the likes of Mkyhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Enzo Fernandez into world beaters.
Talented forward Christopher Nkunku is already set to join at the end of the season.
And new star man Joao Felix could make his loan move from Atletico Madrid permanent.

Should Neymar arrive as well, Chelsea could be lining up with a stunning new forward line.
The forward would likely take up a role as a No10 should Potter continue with his latest 4-2-3-1 system.
That would allow Mudryk, Felix and Nkunku to run riot in the higher areas as Neymar pulls the strings.
But the veteran could yet end up leading the line in a 4-2-2-2.
His clever positioning would allow a left-winger like Raheem Sterling to drift inside while he takes up wide positions.
And the system’s fluidity could finally get Chelsea playing the liquid football they crave.
But the Blues have enough depth to revert to a 3-4-3 formation.
And while Neymar could work wonders on the left, he could operate best in the shape as a false 9 as Chelsea’s wing-backs get forward more.

Either way, signing Neymar would surely take the Blues to the next level.
But it remains to be seen if Boehly can finally get his hands on the marquee signing he’s desired since replacing Roman Abramovich last year. More

Jones lost seven of his eight Premier League matches, taking his record to only five wins from 14 in all competitions.
His short stay has cost the Saints an eye-watering amount and their search for a new gaffer continues with interim boss Ruben Selles in charge after talks with Jesse Marsch broke down.
The club paid Jones’ former employers Luton a total of £4million to get him out of his contract at the Championship side, according to The Telegraph.
The ex-Stoke boss was reportedly on a contract worth £1.25m at the Saints and he is set to receive payment for all of the three-and-a-half years he was expected to stay.

It takes the overall spend on Jones to £8.4m.
The club also splashed £56m on signings in the January transfer window, bringing in Kamaldeen Sulemana, Paul Onuachu, Carlos Alcaraz, Mislav Orsic and James Bree.
How many of these were recommended to the club by Jones is unclear.
The 49-year-old leaves the club languishing in last place in the Premier League, four points from safety.

Rumours suggest that the Southampton board had to get rid of Jones after some of the first-team squad had questioned his tactics and coaching.
He also angered some of his players suggesting that they could not play his so-called “preferred style”.
Fans were also left fuming by several of his bizarre rants to the media, in one he said: “Statistically there weren’t many better than me around Europe.”
Saints fans were left chanting “you’re getting sacked in the morning” to their own manager.
One even brought a huge P45 with Jones’ name on it to the St Mary’s Stadium for the game before he lost his job. More

According to respected French publication Le Parisien, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has flown to Paris to enter negotiations with PSG over a deal.
The French side spent almost £200million to bring him to Paris from Barcelona in 2017 and have the Brazilian under contract until 2025.
Despite now being 31, Neymar would continue to command a sizeable fee.
The report comes days after Neymar confirmed he had been in a row with club chief Luis Campos and team-mate Marquinhos.

The fall-out followed PSG’s 3-1 defeat to Monaco last weekend, with Campos accusing some players of lacking aggression.
However, Neymar and Marquinhos were not willing to take the accusation lying down and subsequently hit back – with the altercation getting heated.
The Brazilian was in action last night but was unable to conjure any magic as PSG fell to a 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
The forward has excelled in a more central role under Christophe Galtier this season.

The superstar also came under heat from his neighbours recently after wildly celebrating his 31st birthday.
Just last month Chelsea splashed a British transfer record fee of £107m on Enzo Fernandez.
And it was reported yesterday that Boehly is prepared to move “heaven and earth” in order to try and land Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham – with the English midfielder set to feature against the Blues this evening. More
