Neville previously said he thought the current owners would not leave entirely and that they just want to lower their stake in the club.
He claims his theory is backed up by the season ticket news and he is baffled as to why the Glazer family would implement a price hike if they were going to quit soon anyway.
Neville tweeted: “The increase to ticket prices at United is very odd.
“Why would a seller that’s leaving before the next season introduce something that has brought them more hate and they won’t benefit from.

“Any new buyer would most likely freeze the price in year one to stay on side with fans.
“It does beg the question whether they are really going. I have my doubts with actions like this one.”
The season ticket increase by five per cent has left fans raging, with some labelling chiefs as “parasites”.
The news came soon after the club’s share price soared and while fans fight the cost of living crisis.

Cody Gakpo is up and running for Liverpool – when does he become a viable Dream Team option?

BACK-TO-BACK wins over Everton and Newcastle have given Liverpool reason to be hopeful of a strong finish to the season. If the Reds are able to convert this upturn into a prolonged spell of form the likes of which fans have become accustomed to under Jurgen Klopp then a top-four finish may yet be achievable.
In terms of trophy possibilities, the Champions League remains their only avenue and tonight’s meeting with European specialists Real Madrid will give an indication of how that pursuit may play out.
If Liverpool are able to go deep in Europe once again then there will surely be a bounty of Dream Team points on offer.
Liverpool may yet salvage something from an otherwise underwhelming season
One particularly positive development in the last fortnight has been the improvement of Cody Gakpo (£3.6m).
The Dutchman’s first few appearances following his January transfer were underwhelming at best but two goals in his last two outings suggest he’s finding his feet at Anfield.
Where before he was wasteful and disconnected, his recent goals showed he may have necessary predatory instincts to thrive on Merseyside.
Playing centrally with Darwin Nunez (£4.9m) and Mohamed Salah (£8m) either side of him, Gakpo was on hand to score a poacher’s tap-in against Toffees and at St James’ Park he anticipated his Egyptian team-mate’s brilliant pass before anyone else on the pitch to convert from close range again.
The 23-year-old has also earned 7+ rating in each of his last three games, meaning he’s banked 19 points across the last three Game Weeks.
Gakpo is up and running for Liverpool
It goes without saying that a centre-forward representing Klopp’s Liverpool even remotely close to their best will get plenty of chances so Dream Team gaffers might start to consider Gakpo’s viability.
    Most read in Dream Team
He impressed in Qatar for Netherlands and produced plenty of points in Dream Team World Cup before the Oranje were eliminated.
And his record of nine goals and 12 assists in 14 Eredivisie appearances for PSV prior to his switch this season speaks for itself.
It may be that this article is a tad premature; two games is a small sample size and defeat to Los Blancos this evening would be a reality check for a team that have desperately struggled for rhythm in 2022/23.

However, experienced Dream Team bosses will know just how many points Klopp’s side are capable of producing when in full flow so it’s a situation worth monitoring closely.
Salah is the obvious option to back when hunting Liverpool points but he comes at a mighty cost – at less than half the price, Gakpo is more feasible for those with tight budgetary constraints.

Scott McTominay has played 16 Prem games this season, but just seven have been from the start
Having been linked with a move away in January, it’s claimed United are prepared to listen to offers for McTominay in the summer.
And the club will demand £25million for his services, according to Football Insider.
It’s said the Red Devils are confident of securing £25m due to McTominay’s Premier League experience.

The arrivals of Christian Eriksen and Casemiro last summer have limited McTominay’s game time.
Even with Eriksen sidelined with a long-term injury, McTominay has not had much of a look in as the club moved to sign Marcel Sabitzer on loan last month.
McTominay was linked with a move to Newcastle in January.
But a transfer failed to materialise, and he ended up staying at Old Trafford.

Boss Erik ten Hag is looking to shift a number of his players in order to fund a squad overhaul.
The Red Devils need to sell players before they can spend big at the end of the campaign, according to talkSPORT.
After missing a three weeks with an unknown injury, McTominay returned at the weekend to come off the bench for the final half an hour in the 3-0 win over Leicester. More

Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp had also emerged as a shock candidate for the position.
But Spanish boss Gracia has now been announced as the club’s next coach.

Leeds fans were not too pleased either, and pointed critical fingers at the board.
One said: “What a bloody mess. The board have a lot to answer for. Dreadful.”
A second said: “Very dissapointing from the board. With an attacking exciting team like ours, we couldn’t land anyone with a decent record.
“Let’s hope he does a great job if he is appointed!”
Gracia’s CV in England saw him guide Watford to 11th place in the Premier League – their highest ever finish – and to an FA Cup final in 2019.
However, trigger happy Watford chiefs relieved him of his duties at the club just four games into the following season. More
