0.8%-owned Ollie Watkins has amassed 57 Dream Team points across the last ten Game Weeks

UNAI EMERY’S progress at Villa Park has been checked in recent weeks by three consecutive defeats. In Aston Villa’s defence, two of those losses came at the hands of Manchester City and Arsenal, the Premier League’s two main title challengers.
Prior to that, the Villains went undefeated in January (in the league) with three wins and a draw to propel them into the comparative safety of mid-table.
Looking forward, the fixtures look relatively favourable so there may be some victories to celebrate on the horizon – and some Dream Team points too.
On that note, enter Ollie Watkins (£4.2m).

The England international has scored a goal in each of his last four outings, including strikes against the league’s top two teams.
With Danny Ings (£3.3m) having moved to West Ham, Watkins has responded superbly to being installed as the first-choice centre-forward.
The 27-year-old has scored seven goals and provided two assists in his last 12 league appearances.
In Dream Team terms, he’s amassed 57 points across the last ten Game Weeks.
While those returns may not be on the same level as Marcus Rashford (£6.4m), Harry Kane (£8m) or Erling Haaland (£9m), they are plentiful enough to warrant due consideration.

In fact, given that Watkins is half the price of Kane and Haaland, he’s actually been a more efficient asset over that time period in terms of points against investment.
Watkins is in good formCredit: GETTY
The ex-Brentford forward appears in just 0.8% of teams, making him a huge differential, and so gaffers who need to gain ground in their mini-leagues would do well to consider him as a potential replacement for Gabriel Martinelli (£3.1m), Aleksandar Mitrovic (£4.4m) or Eddie Nketiah (£3.4m).
Reverting back to the schedule, the upcoming fixtures look friendly for Villa.
Watkins will be unleashed upon Everton this coming weekend before facing Crystal Palace, West Ham and Bournemouth in March – the only one of those teams not currently in the relegation dogfight is the Eagles and they’ll be sucked in before long if their winless form continues much longer. More

TOM CLEVERLEY is a Premier League winning midfielder who has been capped by England. His career has taken a number of twists and turns since his Old Trafford departure in 2015, but what happened to him and where is he now?
Cleverley won the Premier League title during his time with Manchester United
    Who is Tom Cleverley?
Tom Cleverley is a footballer who has previously played for Manchester United and England.
His early years as a professional were spent gaining experience at other clubs, such as Leicester and Watford, before a breakthrough year with Wigan Athletic.
He played regularly during his season with The Latics, helping them avoid relegation at the end of the 2010/11 season.
He returned to Manchester United following the retirement of Paul Scholes in the summer of 2011, making his competitive debut in a 3-2 win over Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley.

He scored his first Manchester United goal in a 2-1 League Cup win against Newcastle in September 2012, and his first Premier League goal against the same opposition the next month.
He made 22 appearances as United won the 2012/13 Premier league title.
The next season saw a downturn in fortunes for the midfielder after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson, as The Red Devils finished 7th and missed out on European football.
Cleverley joined Aston Villa on loan in the 2014/15 season, after falling out of favour. He helped the Birmingham club to their first FA Cup final for 15 years.

However, Villa were easily beaten 4-0 by Arsenal at Wembley, in what proved to his last game for the club.
After joining Everton on a free transfer in 2015 following the expiry of his Manchester United contract, Cleverley struggled with injuries and form, and eventually re-joined Watford in January 2017.
Cleverley played 13 times for England, making his debut against Italy in 2012.
What happened to ex Man Utd midfielder Tom Cleverley?
He soon received regular playing time, and played a vital role in Watford’s midfield as they achieved safety for three consecutive seasons and reached the 2019 FA Cup final.
He played four times in the run to the final, but finished with a runner-up medal once again, with The Hornets losing 6-0 against Manchester City.
After suffering relegation in 2020, Cleverley played a key role in Watford coming straight back up.
They were again relegated in 2022, but Cleverly was named as the new captain ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Unfortunately for Cleverley, he suffered a thigh injury in the warm-up before Watford’s 1-1 draw with Burnley in February 2023.
It had already been an injury plagued season, with the Englishman only playing four times during the campaign.

    Where is Tom Cleverley now?
Cleverley is expected to be out for at least eight weeks with the injury, which is a concern for Watford manager Slaven Bilic as the midfielder’s contract runs out at the end of the 2022/23 season.
It is unknown whether or not he will be offered a new contract at this point. More

Mitchel Bergkamp is following in his father’s footballing footsteps having signed for Bromley as a free agent in January.
The forward scored his first Bromley goal when he netted in a 2-1 defeat by Woking.
The goal came in the 25th minute of his first start and sixth appearance for the National League side.
And it came after he side-footed home following a mistake from Woking goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen – son of former Bolton hero Jussi Jaaskelainen.

Astonishingly, their fathers came up against each other during their playing careers, with Dennis scoring past Jussi in the Premier League in 2001.
Despite Bergkamp Jr scoring his first Bromley goal since joining in January, the forward was subbed at half time.
Manager Andy Woodman explained he made the decision because he “kept dropping into the middle of the park”.
Woodman said: “I felt sorry for Mitch, I took him off at half-time as I was playing him in a position which wasn’t right for him.”

He added: “I couldn’t get him in the game. I wanted him to go up top and he kept dropping into the middle of the park. We tried to create something for Mitch in there and he did alright but we were putting no pressure on their front men, so I had to change that a little bit.
“But credit to Mitch, he understands his place in the team and he’s got his first goal for Bromley so we’re immensely chuffed.”
Mitch was released by Watford after his deal with their Under-23 side expired, having joined them from Dutch side Almere’s Under-21 team in 2020.
He also briefly had a trial at Arsenal but the Gunners didn’t take him on.
