Chelsea are nearing crisis mode after a 2-0 defeat at Tottenham
And Potter is coming under increasing pressure after just two wins in his last 15 league matches.
The former Brighton boss was booed by those in attendance for last weekend’s defeat to Southampton at Stamford Bridge.
Any jeers today from the travelling supporters were drowned out by Spurs’ celebrations.
So fans found another way to make their anger known after the final whistle.

Within minutes of the result, a petition on Change.org went live demanding Potter’s Chelsea exit.
It quickly racked up thousands of signatures, boasting over 4,000 after just 40 minutes.
And it hit a whopping 8,000 signatures over an hour later, with many fans agreeing with the petition’s description.
It read: “Todd Boehly, Behdad Eghbali, and shareholders, this petition is directed at you to please sack Graham Potter.

“As of this Petition he has 2 wins in 15 games, and has left the fans exhausted and devastated, despite spending hundreds of millions.
“We have immense quality in the squad, however there is one area we can change, which is the coach.
“For the future of Chelsea Football Club, please sack Graham Potter.”
Fans also added their voice, with one saying: “He’s the worst coach I’ve seen.”
Another declared: “Lack of effort and passion from him and the team, need to inject some energy.”
One noted: “Graham Potter is not good enough for Chelsea.”
Another added: “He is not the man for the job and is leading Chelsea astray.”
It remains to be seen if Boehly and Eghbali heed fans’ pleas, having given Potter their backing earlier in the week.
But the manager himself knows results must improve quickly if he is to turn around the negative atmosphere.
Potter said post-match: “I know the responsibility. (The results) are not good enough for this club.
“I’m not happy with them. I take full responsibility for those results.

“If results aren’t good enough, which they aren’t at the moment, you can’t rely on support forever.
“My job is to keep going, to try and change the moment. The players are hurting. It’s a tough moment for us.” More

Neville explained that Carragher was late because he was in the hotel spa and got the departure time wrong.
He feared that he was going to be late for Sky Sports’ live coverage of the game between Man Utd and Newcastle.
While waiting to leave in the car, a bus suddenly appeared and demanded Neville’s vehicle move so it could do a three-point turn down a tight road.
The former right-back hilariously called the manoeuvre “ambitious” and laughed that he was “just called ‘bruv’.”

Things then got weirder, as the bus attempted to turn around unsuccessfully, a car carrying boxing legend Floyd Mayweather parked in the middle of the road blocking the street.
The fighter, who was involved in exhibition bout in London the night before, casually gout out and strolled into the hotel.
Neville was left startled saying: “No word of a lie that is Floyd Mayweather. This is surreal.
“He can dump his car anywhere he wants that man. He’s just thrown it in the middle of the road right in front of the bus, which is struggling like mad.

“You could not write this script, this is the best live video you’re ever going to see.
“Meanwhile, Carragher hasn’t even come out yet he is still in the jacuzzi.”
The ex-Liverpool man did finally appear to the delight of Neville, who claimed he was “dressed like a Tory politician who had just won an election.”
Carragher jumped into the car and stressed that their is loads of time and he doesn’t need to be there early as it’s “not a big day for him, just for you [Neville].”

‘He used to pull players’ hair in training’ – Kieran Trippier says he ‘loves’ s***housery and reveals who is best at it

NEWCASTLE defender Kieran Trippier said he loves ‘s***housery’ – and revealed who of his current and former team-mates is best at it. The defender is preparing for the Carabao Cup Final where the Magpies may need to resort to football’s dark arts to get past Manchester United.

The Red Devils are the favourites and in tremendous form as they hunt for the first leg of an unlikely quadruple.
But Trippier and Newcastle are desperate to end the club’s long trophy drought.
Ahead of the game, United boss Erik ten Hag said he finds Newcastle “annoying” to play against with the Toon becoming increasingly well-known for their ability to manage games using cynical tactics.
The right-back told the Guardian that he’s a big fan of this side of the game.

Trippier said: “I love it. The best for me was Atlético Madrid’s Stefan Savic.
“He used to pull people’s hair, even in training. It was crazy but I love all that. Of course, opposition fans aren’t going to like it but I think it’s good to see.
“I don’t see why everyone’s kicking off about it: it’s good!”
Trippier arrived at St James’ Park just over a year ago after returning to England after a three year stay Atlético Madrid.

He credited his time abroad with helping him adapt to football’s dark arts.
The 32-year-old added: “I’ve experienced these things a lot in Spain.
“It’s about when to slow a game down. If the opposition are on top, of course you’ve got to kill the game. You’re not going to allow them to take a quick throw-in and say: ‘Carry on.’
“Some teams aren’t happy with us this season but it’s about being clever.”
Even discounting their cup run, Newcastle are enjoying their best season in years.
The club are currently fifth, four points behind Tottenham with two games in hand. More

Sheikh Jassim is also thought to have bid under the Glazers’ £5bn valuation
British billionaire Ratcliffe and Qatari Sheikh Jassim are the only interested parties to have gone public with their bids.
But the Telegraph claims neither man is set to have their initial offer accepted.

And Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim are likely to have bid around that number after signing non-disclosure agreements.

However, the Glazers believe United should be sold for at least £5bn.
And neither offer is thought to have come close to that figure.
Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim are now waiting for a response from Raine Group, who are handling the takeover deal.
But it is likely they will have to lodge fresh offers near the £5bn mark to stand any chance of a complete takeover.

The Glazers are believed to be willing to part ways entirely for the right price.
Yet they are also open to retaining control and could accept a minority investment.
Ratcliffe, who fronts Ineos Group, is liaising with JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs over his bid.
But Sheikh Jassim is understood to want a complete takeover.
The Qatari is ready to clear United’s debts, which stand at a whopping £680million.
And he also wants to invest in a new stadium and a new training ground.
That alone could cost up to £2bn.
And a hefty amount of cash would also be needed to fund new signings for Erik ten Hag. More
