    Games come thick and fast
Chelsea still have it all to do to turn their season around from where it currently sits, in 10th place in the table.
They turn their attentions to the Champions League this week before having some testing league matches.
One game at a time is how they will take it but these next few games could dictate their season.

Something to build on for Potter
Today’s victory will give Chelsea a chance of putting some sort of run together.
With Tottenham losing at Wolves today, talk of a top-four finish is an outside possibility.
The Blues will take confidence in ending their winless run at the expense of Javi Gracia’s Leeds today.
Argentine puts in shift for Blues
Enzo Fernandez showed some of his doubters what he was all about today.
Completing in excess of 70 passes through the course of the game, the midfielder’s work rate was impressive.
It will take time for him to settle into this Chelsea team but he certainly made his mark today.

Boehly looks on at his investment
Having spent upwards of £460m on the squad since taking over the club, Todd Boehly was here today to see things first hand.
He certainly didn’t seem a big fan of the cold snap in West London this afternoon.
After his side managed to hold onto their slender victory, he seemed happy with the end result.

    FT: Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
The Blues did just about enough to win this one.
On another day, against another team, they could have been punished for their defensive lapses.
Javi Gracia will have to work some miracles to keep this Leeds side up this season.

    FT: Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
A huge cheer at Stamford Bridge as the final whistle is blown.
This could be a huge three points for Graham Potter.
Chelsea manage to get over the line with all three points.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
90+4. Gallagher has shown some great passion and willingness to get around the pitch since coming on.
He is showing a hunger that is lacking in so many players in blue.
As Leeds win a corner the Chelsea sub is shown a yellow card for a foul in the build up.
    Leeds 1-0 Chelsea
90+2. Chelsea just cannot clear their lines.
The ball drops to Joseph who is going away from goal but he manages to get a shot off.
Kepa gets down well and saves the ball.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    90. Some great play from Gallagher as he knocks the ball around the defender and slides towards the corner flag to keep the ball in.
A quick one-two sees him dart into the box but his attempted shot is blocked.
Leeds counter immediately and win yet another corner.
There are going to be four minutes added.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    88. Leeds are starting to press, realising time is running out.
The cross is deep towards the back post but Ayling’s header is not troubling Kepa Arrizabalaga.
    Better from the visitors.
    Credit: Reuters
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    86. Chilwell loses his rag as he starts pushing Tyler Adams.
Michael Oliver has a word with the pair.
Meslier came in as peacemaker, dwarfing over both players.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    84. Time and time again Leeds’ final ball is lacking.
Javi Gracia will be tearing his hair out on the touchline.
Tactically, they have done more than enough to get something out of this game.
Chalobah and Madueke come on for Fernandez and Loftus-Cheek.

    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds

    82. Greenwood comes on for Harrison.
Fofana is pushed down and he wipes out a steward and a photographer.
One for the Soccer AM boys there.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    80. We into the last ten minutes in West London.
Summerville runs at the Chelsea defence again with no one wanting to put a challenge in on him.
He slots in Gnonto but Fofana does well to shield the ball for a goal kick.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    78. It is a strange atmosphere at Stamford Bridge.
While their team lead, it still seems like they could also turn on them at any point.
A Leeds goal would completely change the mood here.

    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    76. Graham Potter gives Kovacic a rest as he tries to get back to full-fitness.
Leeds boss Javi Gracia will be infuriated at his side’s lack of end product.
They are getting themselves into some great positions.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    74. Gallagher is pulled down as he turns Firpo.
The Blues are happy keeping possession with trying to get forward and stretch the visitors.
Leeds counter but Harrison’s early cross is terrible and goes straight out for a goal kick.
    Kovacic is replaced by Chukwuemeka.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    72. Harrison delivers a good cross into the box but the ball is headed wide of Kepa’s post.
Better from Leeds but they still need to work the Chelsea keeper more.
Leeds are having a period of dominance here now.

    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds

    70. Leeds are just lacking that final pass in attack.
Their pace is getting them into good areas but the final pass is often too heavy, giving Chelsea the chance to cut it out.
If they were to try and slot balls in behind Koulibaly they would get far more joy.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    68. Loftus-Cheek is penalised for a trip on Harrison.
Felix makes way for Gallagher and Sterling comes off for Zakaria.
Leeds replace Aarsonson and Rutter for Gnonto and Joseph.
    Credit: Getty
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    66. It won’t be long before we see the managers of both sides start to make some changes.
Aaronson does well getting to the byline and looks to cut it back for Summerville.
Kepa does well to get fingertips to the ball before the linesman raises their flag.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    64. Sterling receives the ball and runs at the Leeds’ defence.
Felix makes a run off him and Sterling drops the shoulder and cuts inside.
He shoots looking for the top corner but the shot drifts wide of the upright.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    62. Chelsea look two completely different teams in defence and attack.
They cannot bank on holding onto a 1-0 scoreline as they always seem capable of self-destructing at the back.
Leeds are starting to knock on the door a little more now.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    60. When Leeds’ players run at this Chelsea defence it looks like they will get some joy.
Summerville is causing problems still with his silky runs.
The visitors are still work Kepa in the Chelsea goal.
    Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
    58. Adams looks to bend one in from outside the box.
Kepa watches it narrowly miss the upright.
Leeds are still in this game but the next goal is critical.

Arsenal’s grievances with VAR stem from a huge error which allowed Brentford’s equaliser to stand at the Emirates last month.
Official Lee Mason forgot to draw the necessary lines for an offside call – which would have seen the goal ruled out.
And it ended up costing Arteta’s men two points in the title race.

It was crossed and found its way to Sam Billing who tucked home to score the second fastest goal in Premier League history.
The nine-second finish now sits behind only Shane Long – who bagged for Southampton against Watford in 7.69 seconds in April 2019.
