      JONATHAN DAVID has revealed that he admired Eden Hazard after breaking his goals record.The Canadian striker broke the former Chelsea star’s record of 52 goals after netting a hat-trick against Lyon in Ligue 1.

      The record is only being judged on the club’s 21st century, but David has still impressed as he has achieved the feat in only 102 Ligue 1 games.
      Speaking after game, the 23-year-old admitted his pride in breaking the record.
      However, he also went on to suggest where he would like to move to after Lille.
      He said: “I’ve admired Eden Hazard for a long time, to break his record is a bit surreal for me.

      Several presenters revealed they would not be replacing Lineker on the show including Mark Chapman.
      So in an attempt to be witty Baddiel put John Terry’s name forward in a jibe at the former Blues captain infamously standing in to lift the Champions League trophy in his kit in 2012 despite not playing in the final.
      Baddiel, 58, quipped: “I wonder if, somewhere, John Terry is practicing using an autocue.”
      Terry, 42, reacted angrily to the joke and used an emoji to label Baddiel a clown.

      The ex-England captain replied saying: “Don’t use my name for a cheap laugh on social media!”
      Several names have been linked with replacing Lineker including former MOTD2 presenter Colin Murray.
      But after a boycott led by Ian Wright and Alan Shearer the BBC have decided to air Match of the Day without a presenter, pundits and even commentators.
      Some fans called for BBC Sport’s Emma Louise Jones to replace Lineker.

      But he has revealed that it all could have been so different if coaches had cut him loose as a struggling teenager.
      The 23-year-old told the England website: “I ended up staying at Chelsea the whole time once I joined [at the age of eight], but there was probably a stage where I was close to getting released around the age of 15 or 16.
      “I was probably one of the worst in the group and they were unsure of how I was going to develop.

      “They took a gamble on me by giving me a contract and I had to work hard to prove to people that I can play and achieve what I want to achieve.”
      James was given a chance to demonstrate his ability on loan at Wigan in 2018 and he never looked back.
      He was one of the stars of the Championship season and drew rave reviews from Latics supporters for his adventurous, all-action style of play.
      James was then integrated into Chelsea’s team permanently under Frank Lampard and grew into one of the Premier League’s most impressive right-backs.

      Speaking to ESPNF10, as per Argentine-focused reporter Roy Nemer, Tevez revealed: “I was on loan at United.
      “Ferguson told me that they were going to buy me, then he brought Berbatov and he didn’t put me in the league.

      “The day before the Champions League final vs Barcelona, I told him I was going to Manchester City.”
      Tevez started just 18 Prem games that season, scoring five times.
      Despite his City admission, Tevez was called upon at half-time of the Champions League final, 20 minutes before Berbatov came on.
      Neither were able to make an impact, however, with Barca comfortably winning 2-0.

      Gary Neville fears Glazers will STAY at Man Utd as he reveals theory behind mystery third party in bidding process

      GARY NEVILLE fears that the Glazer family will stay at Man United and use Elliot Management to “stay in control”.The former defender believes that the US hedge fund’s progression to the next round in the bidding process is a ploy by the current owners.

      Neville reckons that the Glazers will either use Elliot to remain in charge of the Red Devils or force the other bidders to up their offers for the club.
      Elliot are willing to provide funding up to £2billion to be used on redeveloping Old Trafford.
      It was reported by Sky Sports that representatives from the hedge fund were at Old Trafford to watch United beat Real Betis in the Europa League.
      The other two major bidders for the club are British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qatari Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani.

      The potential new owners will have to look over presentations from United officials which will analyze the club’s operations, transfer strategy, and scouting network.
      However, Elliot’s stay in the process is causing concern over the willingness to part with the club from the Glazers.
      Neville shared his theory as to what is happening on social media.
      In a quote tweet to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, Neville wrote: “Nope!

      Sheikh Jassim is offering a full buyout of the club while Ratcliffe is only offering to take over a majority of the shares.
      Neither offer has matched the Glazers £6bn asking price.
      Speaking on his Sky Sports podcast, Neville added: “I think what scares Man Utd fans most is the feeling this Man Utd ownership are running this process to drive a massive price up.
      “To try to somehow establish a level which means two of them can stay in and the rest of the family that want out can be bought out by an American fund who wouldn’t mind owning a minority or significant share but not the entirety of the share.
      “That’s the biggest concern. The whole emphasis at this moment in time from Man Utd fans is this has to be the end of the Glazer ownership.
      “They’ve run out of money, they’ve not invested in the stadium… the fans want a new stadium, whether that’s Old Trafford refurbished or a new one rebuilt, we need new facilities.

      And they even held discussions with Inter in January over a potential £35million transfer.
