Coach Ryan Mason has been tipped to takeover in a caretaker capacity while Oliver Glasner and former boss Mauricio Pochettino have been linked with the job more permanently.
Now Redknapp, who managed Spurs between 2008-2012, has entered the fray after revealing he would like to return to the Tottenham dugout.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: “If someone asks you, I think it would be hard to say no, I’ll be truthful.
“When you love it, you do find it hard to say no, as Roy (Hodgson) and Neil (Warnock) would agree.

“You look at what you’re doing now, sitting around, having a game of golf, and it’s not the money, it’s the challenge, you love it, the buzz of it, winning a game is a fantastic feeling. It’s hard to say no.”
Redknapp is also open to the possibility of helping out Mason if he was entrusted to take over from Conte.
He believes young managers need all the help they can get, and when asked if he would support 31-year-old Mason, Redknapp replied: “Yeah of course, I would love that.
“With a young manager I often think that they don’t use older figures, but I think there is room for older people to go in with them and work with a young manager, even if it was only for a couple of days a week just to be around. They can bounce ideas off you – I think that’s important.

“It’s a difficult job and when you’re young it’s important to have someone experienced there with you. I took people like Jim Smith who was older than me, at Portsmouth I’d already managed about 1000 games before I took Jim with me, but he was fanstastic for me.
“I had Frank Lampard Sr with me, I took Glenn Hoddle, Steve McClaren – I think you need good people around you, it’s important.

Newcastle set for summer overhaul with SIX transfers targeted and shock first-team star could be sold

NEWCASTLE are reportedly quietly preparing to sign players for a European campaign next season. The Magpies are currently 5th in the Premier League, five points clear of Liverpool.

Kieran Tierney is also believed to be a target for NewcastleCredit: Getty
While qualification for the Champions League is not out of the question, this spot would be good enough for them to qualify for the Europa League next season.
However, if their form were to drop, they could still qualify for the Europa Conference League should they finish 7th.
A European campaign would be the club’s first for a decade, as they played in the Europa League in the 2012/13 season.
And to prepare for this, The Telegraph have reported that the club are looking to sign six players to improve the squad.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
One position is at left-back with Dan Burn being an effective player to cover the role, but the report suggests that it is an area to improve on.
The club has been heavily linked with a move for Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney, who would fit the description.
The second spot that would be upgraded is at centre-back, as the club would like to find a world-class partner for summer signing Sven Botman.
Newcastle would also be keen on signing two central midfielders, with the report picking Conor Gallagher and James Maddison as targets.

The club tried to buy Maddison last summer, but a move fell through as Leicester City did not want to lose their star player.
While Gallagher could be keen on a move up north with the promise of more game time then he is currently getting at Chelsea.
The other two spots that would be strengthened would be in the attack with a striker to replace injury-prone Callum Wilson.
Alexander Isak has impressed in recent weeks, but some quality competition can only benefit the club’s firepower options.
The final spot that could be invested in is at the winger position.
Allan Saint-Maximin has been a star for the club since his arrival from Nice but injuries have seen his influence start to drop.
The report suggests that the winger could be sold should “he agitate for a move” and therefore the club would need a replacement.

They agreed a deal quickly after the Russian had previously shown an interest in purchasing Manchester United.
After the takeover was completed Abramovich took a helicopter ride over the city and took a liking to Regent’s Park.
Recalling the trip, Bates told The Telegraph: “Abramovich hired a helicopter for a trip around London.

Julian Alvarez & Bukayo Saka feature in the best Dream Team XI of Game Week 27

THE international break has cut Game Week 27 shorter than most but Mass Hosseini won’t be complaining. He racked up 125 points at the weekend, making him the Game Week’s outright top gaffer.
Let’s take a closer look at his XI to see how he did it…
A lot of Manchester with a sprinkling of north London
David de Gea (£3.9m) failed to keep a clean sheet at home to Fulham but it proved to be a decisive weekend for the Spaniard as the three points he earned for a 7+ rating meant he overtook Nick Pope (£4.2m) to become Dream Team’s top goalkeeper.
Similarly, Luke Shaw (£4.4m) compensated for the Cottagers’ goal with an assist for Marcel Sabitzer (£2.2m) to bank five points, promoting to second in his position overall – Kieran Trippier (£5.8m) remains top dog by a distance among defenders.
It was smooth sailing for Manchester City in their FA Cup quarter-final as they dispatched Burnley 6-0.
Kyle Walker (£3.5m) and Ruben Dias (£6.2m) both added 7+ ratings to the clean sheet to combine for 16 points.
The former is actually the worst-performing defender among Pep Guardiola’s squad from a Dream Team perspective this season with 46 points while the Portuguese centre-back is the best with 114 points, a total bettered by just seven defenders overall.

Mass’ midfield features the best-performing quartet of the season and it was Bukayo Saka (£5.3m) who enjoyed himself the most at the weekend with a brace and an assist against Crystal Palace – a performance that earned him the Star Man award as well.
Bruno Fernandes (£6.2m) wasn’t far behind having benefited most from Fulham’s implosion – he converted the penalty before sealing his side’s place in the semi-finals with a stoppage-time thump.

Neither Kevin De Bruyne (£7.6m) or Phil Foden (£5m) got on the scoresheet against the Clarets but they assisted half the goals between them for a combined 12 points.
Mind you, it’s not like Mass missed out on City’s rampage as he backed Julian Alvarez (£3.6m) as well as Erling Haaland (£9m), who is something of an obligatory inclusion at this stage.
The Norwegian poacher his SIXTH hat-trick of the season but it was actually the Argentine World Cup winner who claimed the Star Man award by virtue of his expert brace.
Alvarez has 109 points to his name in total despite playing a subsidiary role for most the campaign.
    Not a bad back-up option…Credit: GETTY
Last but not least, Tottenham may be imploding at the back end of this season but Harry Kane (£7.8m) continues to provide healthy returns for his owners.
The England captain scored his 21st Premier League goal of the campaign as Antonio Conte’s side drew 3-3 with Southampton on Saturday.
In doing so, he became the fourth player to breach the 200-point mark in 2022/23.
Superb effort, Mass, good luck to you everyone else in Game Week 28, which will get underway once the international break is done and dusted. More

Hojbjerg becomes first Tottenham star to publicly respond to Conte’s explosive rant about ‘selfish’ players

PIERRE-EMILE HOJBJERG has become the first Tottenham player to speak out following Antonio Conte’s public dressing down of the Spurs squad.Following the club’s capitulation at Southampton, where they led 3-1 but drew the match, Conte blasted his players’ performance as “selfish”.

The irate Italian said: “They don’t play for something important. They don’t want to play under pressure, they don’t want to play under stress.
“It is easy this way. Tottenham’s story is this. For 20 years there is the owner but they never won something but why?
“The fault is only for the club, or for every manager that stays here? I have seen the managers that Tottenham had on the bench.
“Until now I try to hide the situation but not now because, I repeat, I don’t want to see what I have seen today because this is unacceptable and also unacceptable for the fans.”

SunSport understands the rant left some stars stunned, with some members of the squad calling for Conte to be sacked now.
However, Hojbjerg, 27, came out in defence of his manager, telling reporters in his native Denmark: “We’ve all seen it. [It was a] very honest and very open press conference he gave.
“It is because he is not satisfied. You don’t do that if you’ve reached the quarter-final of the Champions League and if you’re in the semi-final of the FA Cup.
“It comes from the fact that, unfortunately, we did not get the results we as a team and club wanted. We are still where we want and need to be in the Premier League. But yes, it’s hard, I should say.

“I understand that if you want to be successful as a team, you need 11 men who are committed to a project and a culture.
“But I think he has to elaborate on how he feels before you as a player can start measuring and weighing.
“The coach has not been satisfied, and that is what I will take with me. You do what you can to please him.
“What I do know about myself is that I am an honest player. I am a player who always gives 100 per cent of myself for the team.”
The 3-3 draw saw Spurs give up the chance to leapfrog Manchester United into third place.
Conte’s rant also saw him take aim at the club’s hierarchy, adding to reports he will be sacked later this week.
Asked about Conte’s future, Hojbjerg said: “Fortunately, I am not the one to judge it.
“If that’s how he sees it, then you have to be a little more precise in order for you as a player to take it to heart.”
He later added: “He didn’t tell us what he wanted to say at the press conference.
“But it is clear that you work with each other every day, you want the best for each other and you want to be successful together. And sometimes the waves go high in football.”

A number of coaches have been linked with the Spurs gig, including fan favourite Mauricio Pochettino and Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner.
However, this is set to see Spurs reportedly fork out a staggering £15million severance package. More

One said: “Saka and Rice bromance already okkk.”
Another joked: “Saka: Welcome to Arsenal, Rice. Rice: Thank you, Saka.”
A third added: “You can tell how much every player loves Saka, can’t wait for Rice to be at the Arsenal next season.”
And a final user wrote: “Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka is the bromance we want to see flourish at the Arsenal.”
Rice has rejected the offer of a new contract at the London Stadium.
Keen to stay in London and play in the Champions League, Arsenal could be the suitable next destination for one of the Premier League’s top midfielders.
And Rice will no doubt have the likes of Saka and fellow Gunner Aaron Ramsdale working as Mikel Arteta’s agents to try and convince him to make the switch across the capital.
