Jurgen Klopp’s team looked second best for most of the match, and frustrations reached a boiling point during the second half.
After a mix-up with Fabinho, Henderson fumed at Alisson for a lack of communication.
The Liverpool skipper gave both barrels to the Brazilian, who wasn’t afraid to give some back to his captain.
After shrugging and moving to walk away, a still-raging Henderson bumped his goalkeeper with his shoulder.

Alisson immediately turned around to have the final say, before finally getting away.
Reds fans online seemed to side with their goalkeeper in the argument.
One tweeted: “If every player turned in Henderson level performances this season, we’d be in the relegation zone.
“If every player played to Alisson’s level, we’d be probably challenging for the title.

A second commented: “I speak for all liverpool fans when i say that alisson deserves to wear the captain armband more than henderson.”
While a third wrote: “Henderson should be squaring up with himself for failing miserably at his own role rather then Alisson who is actually bossing his role.”
Another bitterly added: “He needed to blame someone for such poor play, why not the guy saving us.”
The result left Liverpool eighth in the table, seven points off the top four.
Klopp’s men next host Arsenal on Sunday.
After last night’s match, the German told the BBC: “I don’t expect us to have no confidence, but I know we have to put the hard work in first.
“It’s not a situation where you go out with back-heels and one-twos.
“We have to fight through. I know that’s not what people want to hear, but you cannot change that.
“I saw a really good attitude from my team tonight and that’s what I wanted to see.
“The recovery, the desire to sort the situation, I liked.

Uefa President launches surprise defence of the Premier League and calls it ‘remarkable model that should be followed’

UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin has launched a huge DEFENCE of the Premier League. In his address to the UEFA Congress in Lisbon, the Slovenian said that rather than criticising the Prem, the whole of football should look to mirror the way it is run.
UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin delivered a speech in LisbonCredit: AFP
Ceferin, once again slamming the “so-called Super League” rebels, told the 55 European national associations: “Jealousy is never a good counsellor.
“A few months ago, UEFA and its club competitions were being blamed for all the evils in football and the inequalities within the leagues.
“Today, it’s the English Premier League that seems to be under attack.
“Since the British government, supporters and clubs said no to the Super League, the Premier League has been demonised and labelled a Super League in its own right that needs to be toppled.

“However, the Premier League’s success was not achieved by accident.
“By adopting an audacious approach based on a vision, a strategy and a lot of hard work, its leaders and clubs developed a remarkable model founded on sporting merit and a highly egalitarian distribution of wealth, one of the most egalitarian systems in the world.
“Rather than a model to be destroyed, this is a model that should be followed.”
The UEFA President added: “Let me reassure those who fear that English football will crush everything that stands in its way.

“The figures do not lie: in the last 20 years, the Champions League has been won on five occasions by English clubs.
“Only twice in the last decade an English club has lifted the iconic trophy with the big ears.
“This season clubs from 17 countries played in the knockout rounds of our competitions. Italy has the most representatives in the Champions League and Europa League quarter-finals, Belgium in the Conference League.
“But it is true that jealousy sees everything except the truth.”

Ceferin’s anger against the Super League trio – Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus – has not abated.
He said: “I’m not going to go into the details of the ill-fated plan put forward by three club officials, two financiers and one spokesperson.
“Those who promote this project are now claiming that they want to save football. It’s a good job nobody has ever died of shame.
“The Super League has turned into a character in Little Red Riding Hood: a wolf disguised as a grandmother, ready to eat you up.
“But nobody’s fooled. Football is and will always stay the sport of the people.”
Ceferin did, though, make what was effectively an apology for the chaos at last season’s Champions League Final in Paris – but without actually saying it directly.

He said: “We must never forget the mistakes of the past and we must remain humble at all times.
“Nothing can ever be taken for granted.
“Unfortunately, unlike goalkeepers, leaders can never keep a ‘clean sheet’.
“No leader can boast an unblemished record, however much they invest and however passionate, professional or experienced they are.
“There are always a few stains, a few mistakes that tarnish our reputation, errors they would love to erase.
“I am no different and UEFA is no different. The most important thing is to understand the mistake and change not to repeat them.”
And Ceferin also pledged a crackdown on racism and other hate-speech or actions.
He added: “We must never forget that football is an inclusive sport, open to everyone, in which everyone has a place.
“Unfortunately, some people have still not grasped this concept, which is why we’re going to have to rethink our approach.

“We need to target offenders more effectively whenever a player is subjected to racist, homophobic or sexist insults during UEFA competitions.
“Maybe it is time to go with harsher measures, maybe it is time to put some people in court.” More

Everton currently find themselves 16th, in the midst of a relegation battle and remain out of the drop zone on goal difference.
According to Dutch outlet Het Nieuwsblad the 21 year old didn’t leave the Toffees in January because he didn’t want to abandon the club during their relegation fight.
Sport Witness have reported that if Everton go down it’s certain the former Lille man will leave Goodison Park whilst adding there’s a 99 per cent chance he leaves if they beat the drop.
The report adds that Premier League leaders Arsenal are among the options and have been closely following Onana since January.

If your XI is struggling in the classic Season game, fear not, a fruitful few weeks could land you a PS5 as only points gained during the given scoring period are taken into account for our monthly competitions.
With that in mind, you could tailor your team specifically to April’s remaining fixtures once transfers are refreshed, ignoring long-term viability, with a view to scooping the monthly prize.
Alternatively, you can create a new team and fill it full of players with favourable fixtures for the month in question – each Dream Team gaffer is allowed a maximum of ten teams per season.
And of course, if you’re happy with your progress in the classic Season game and believe your best XI is also likely to rack up plentiful points in the coming weeks then you don’t need to alter your strategy at all.
You can even get involved if you didn’t sign-up for Dream Team at the start of the season.
    Fancy a PS5? Of course you do…

We recently caught up with Miriam Chisholm, who performed brilliantly to win January’s monthly competition!
“I’m not sure I can quite believe it, to be honest. It’s a huge surprise because, although I knew I was close, I thought it ended when January ended! I think it just goes to show it’s good to keep going with all your teams – the monthly prize is a nice touch.
“I think most people had brought in the Newcastle defence along with the Kane/Haaland/Rashford combo up top, so it was just midfield I concentrated on. I picked three of the usual names and tried to go with a flyer as the fourth – James Ward-Prowse then Casemiro. Guess my luck was in!”
    Good luck! More
