Manchester United are still waiting to find out if Marcus Rashford is going to be sidelined for a key part of their treble bid.
Rashford has been enjoying the best goalscoring season of his career, having found the net 28 times so far.
But there are fears the forward could be out for a number of weeks after he limped out of Saturday’s win over Everton with a groin injury.
Rashford posted a cryptic update on his Instagram stories, saying: “Plenty more in the tank.”

Brighton star Evan Ferguson is set to become the subject of a transfer tug-of-war between Manchester United and Tottenham.
According to Daily Mail, United and Spurs want Ferguson, 18, ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have been looking for a striker ever since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag heaped praise on Harry Maguire following his performance against Everton.

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has responded to Jamie Carragher’s claim that Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk is “far better” than his former centre-back partner Nemanja Vidic ever was.
Ferdinand told Vibe with Five: “I see Jamie Carragher tweeted something about Van Dijk being better than Vidic.
“I think [Fernando] Torres scored three goals in 15 games against Vidic.
“It’s a bit of a myth, he had a couple of dodgy moments in those games and got sent off a couple of times and that’s been amplified into saying he got tortured every time he played against Torres which wasn’t the case.
“[Marcus] Rashford’s got six goals in 13 games against Liverpool, does that mean he’s tortured Van Dijk?”
Third round bids
A third round of bidding is expected take place between prospective Manchester United buyers by the end of the month,
That is according to Sportico, who claim that the likes of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani will have to raise their bids.
That is because there are seven prospective ownership groups and all have apparently received feedback from Raine.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has bizarrely been told to “shut up” by Palmeiras boss Abel Ferreira.
Ten Hag was left fuming after star man Marcus Rashford picked up an injury in their 2-0 win over Everton.

Arsenal hero Samir Nasri has admitted that the Gunners were terrified about facing Manchester United with Cristiano Ronaldo in the team.

Rio Ferdinand has responded to Jamie Carragher’s claim that Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk is “far better” than Nemanja Vidic ever was for Manchester United.
Carragher, 45, was critical of Liverpool’s back line in the first half against Arsenal at the weekend as the Reds fell 2-0 behind before coming back to clinch a thrilling 2-2 draw.

Man Unit star Paul Ince has been sacked as Reading manager.
A club statement read: “Reading Football Club can confirm that the contract of first team manager Paul Ince has been terminated with immediate effect.”
“Ince took the reins on a permanent basis in the summer and, having to cope with strict transfer embargo restrictions, he helped to piece together a new squad on a much-reduced wage budget – and with five wins from our first seven home games the season began brightly.
“However, without a win in our last eight matches and with a relegation battle to fight following a six-point deduction imposed last week, owner Mr Dai Yongge has decided that a change is needed.”

“At Chelsea, you see him getting on the ball, twisting past players – and he’s got a bit of pace as well. I really like him, but he’s got to be more clinical.
“I don’t see any reason why Man United can’t get him. They need options if they’re in the Champions League next season.
“Martial isn’t good enough, nor is Weghorst – scrap them. Antony and Sancho haven’t been great, so you’re talking about Rashford as their only threat.

It comes after the Royals’ latest 2-1 defeat against Preston left them in the Championship relegation zone with just five games to go.
