Back-to-back draws against Liverpool and West Ham have opened the door for the defending champions as we head into the final run-in.

How the supercomputer has predicted the final Premier League table to look
Well, the algorithm produced by bettingexpert.com now has Man City as the narrow favourites to clinch the title.
But they can only separate the two title contenders on goal difference – with Guardiola’s men projected to claim a fifth Premier League in six years as a result of scoring more and conceding fewer.

In the race for the top four, Manchester United and Newcastle are not expected to move positions between now and the end of May.
But Brighton are projected to leapfrog Tottenham into fifth place – guaranteeing Europa League football in the process.

Meanwhile, down the wrong end of the table, Leicester would appear to be doomed following their 3-1 defeat to Man City on Saturday.
However, the supercomputer is still predicting them to clamber out of the bottom three.
The projection is that Dean Smith will guide the Foxes to safety as Everton drop out of the top flight.
Sean Dyche’s men would join Southampton and Nottingham Forest if the supercomputer’s predictions are correct.

But Mikel Arteta’s side fell on to the back foot before half time and allowed the Hammers to get back into the game.
Said Benrahma converted a penalty at the 33-minute mark before Jarrod Bowen levelled the score with a fantastic strike ten minutes after the break.
Following the match, many fans were quick to claim that Arsenal’s title charge was already over.
However, former Manchester City star Micah Richards believes the result could prove to be a blessing in disguise for the Gunners.

In his column for the Daily Mail, he wrote: “Arsenal fans will not see things this way but what has happened over the last seven days has the potential to work in their team’s favour.
“Put simply, there is now no grey area around next week’s trip to Manchester — they have to get a result.
“Few sides in Premier League history, involved in a title race at this stage of a season, would have given up two points at West Ham, having led 2-0.
“However, it would be crazy if Mikel Arteta’s squad suddenly allowed doubts to consume them after all the outstanding progress they have made this season.

“Nothing has been decided and they absolutely have the ability to go to the Etihad on April 26 and come away with at least a point.
“It will be the game of the season, I’m convinced of it. There is no room for error for either side and I expect it will lead to fireworks.”
The Gunners threw away another two-goal advantage during their Premier League clash with Liverpool earlier this month.
They have now dropped four points in their last two games.
As a result, their lead at the top of the Premier League table has narrowed to just four points.
Arsenal still have to face Man City, who have a game in-hand, at the Etihad before the end of the campaign. More

“I have spoken to the referee, but he hasn’t seen it again because they’re not allowed to see it.
“It was all respectful, I just told him nicely what I thought about it.”
However, former top Prem ref Mark Halsey backed the officials and said: “That was not worthy of a penalty. It was not clear it was deliberate handball.
“I am sure Steve Cooper would not be happy if that was given against him.”
The defeat extended Cooper’s winless run to 10 games and leaves Forest 18th on goal difference. More

But Antony, 23, scored Manchester United’s opener and made the second for Diogo Dalot to sink struggling Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
Injury-hit United go above Newcastle into third — six points clear of fifth-placed Tottenham with a game in hand.
And Ten Hag compared Antony to brilliant former Chelsea winger Arjen Robben.
The Red Devils chief said: “First, I know he can also use his right but he has to do it more. Second, he can also go outside but he is so good on the inside!

“I’ve seen, for instance, Arjen Robben a lot. They used to say he has only one trick — but that one trick was so brilliant no one can stop it.
“Of course, if you can go both ways you have more variations and you are more difficult to stop.
“But you can also improve the trick that you are really good at.
“His first yards with the ball as he dribbles are so outstanding and so difficult to defend, so he has to keep doing that.”

Antony made an instant impact — scoring in all three of his first Premier League games  following his summer move from Ajax — but the top-flight goals then dried up.
Yet Ten Hag pointed to Antony’s FA Cup goals and his strikes in Europe.
He said: “Antony knows and I know that when you are a striker, you need an end product.
“But already he has a lot of end product — he   has scored in all the competitions now.
“Eight or nine goals in his first year at United is not bad and he still has games to go.
“I can’t say he has to do it in every game.
“But in many games if you want to be a top-class player and especially in all the competitions.
“In the Premier League there are a lot of quality defenders and you have to act on a really high level.
“Today was an example where, with both goals, he made the right decisions.
“The goal he made, he was in the right spot, in the right moment to get the rebound.
“The second goal was a great team goal.

Jurgen Klopp has promised arrivals and Gravenberch is seemingly a key target for the club.
Liverpool had been linked with Jude Bellingham but that interest has faded with Borussia Dortmund demanding £130million for the England international.
Gravenberch is a much cheaper alternative with a projected price tag of just £25million.
And Liverpool made a move to land the Netherlands international this week by meeting with his father, according to The Times.

The Reds have reportedly been tracking Gravenberch for some time with the 20-year-old initially bursting onto the scene at Ajax.
His impressive performances for the Dutch champions earned him a £21m move to Bayern last summer, where his career has stalled somewhat.
Gravenberch has made just three starts this season, only one of which has been in the Bundesliga, with ex-boss Julian Nagelsmann and Thomas Tuchel preferring more experienced options.
That means the German giants could be open to letting the youngster leave at the end of the season, with Liverpool big admirers.

Liverpool’s midfield overhaul could also see Chelsea star Mason Mount arrive on a free.
Mount is said to be the Reds’ number one summer target after ending their interest in Bellingham, though the Blues are plotting one last push to convince Mount to sign a long-term deal.
Liverpool are also interested in another Chelsea midfielder, Conor Gallagher, with Klopp a fan of the 23-year-old. More
