Despite Arsenal leading the title race by four points, Neville has remained adamant that Manchester City will catch them.
Due to his confidence, he has agreed to a bet on social media that will see him wear a Gunners jersey labelled “champions” if Arsenal do go all the way.
And Jamie Carragher has helped a surprised Neville reveal the shirt he will wear if he has to go through with the forfeit.
Ahead of the Gunner’s Premier League clash with Southampton at the Emirates Stadium, a retro green shirt was thrown to the former Liverpool player.

A picture was shown of him and his brother Phil Neville wearing the Gunners shirt.
Neville revealed that he wore the shirt when playing in his youth as the team was “very poor” and that they were sourced from a sports shop in Bury.
As he held up the shirt to the camera boos could be heard coming from the Arsenal fans.
However, he was saved the blushes of wearing the shirt tonight with the prospect as it would take away from the “sting” of having to do it if Arsenal win the league.

Fifa’s new football agent test will FINALLY root out the highway robbers Dick Turpin would be proud of

WELL, here’s a question that will test most agents — but one they should know the answer to.It’s one of several set by Fifa for new football agents, regarded by many club staff as close relations to blood-sucking leeches.
Fifa will implement a new test for football agentsCredit: Getty
    Q) Which age range covers when training compensation can be due to the club(s) at which the player spent their development period?
    a) 12-15
    b) 12-23
    c) 12-21
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
    d) 16-23
Now this question is tricky enough without being made more so by the level of English usually associated with foreigners shakily trying to make themselves understood.
So pity the aspiring, perspiring agent asked to unravel the newly minted tortures ordered by our football overlords.
Having translated the knotty question above we come to the point: Fifa — for once, God bless them — are tackling the highway robbers who sometimes double as agents.

There are exceptions, I should in fairness add, who are hard-working, reliable and honest. God bless the Few.
The best of them are almost essential for any outstanding player: sound advice; attention to the fine print of contracts, not only of those reached with his club but with sponsorships that can be worth multi-millions; negotiations and sometimes massage of ego and confidence.
As an England regular, Gareth Southgate used to conduct contracts personally but at his playing level today the self-assured might not always be very successful.
Even so, unscrupulous cheque-chasers have long warranted the time of comeuppance. I was one of many in football to cheer Fifa’s recent legislation which in one exquisite day announced that the entitlement to agents in future would be three per cent of a player’s pay above £180,000 a year and ten per cent of a transfer fee.
In many cases these payments amount to a fortune. Think ten per cent of £100million to give you some idea of the possibilities.
You may be sure that agents of any stamp will be able to work the figures out. They have always been better at that than understanding the complexities of football finance.
There are further restrictions to the rules which apply from September — so many that rookie agents are undergoing tests that include the question above, which I pray they can translate.
To be fair, this isn’t a patsy examination. And it shouldn’t be. Far too many agents have been holding clubs to ransom, a process that Dick Turpin would have enjoyed, except that the highwayman galloped off on Black Bess while the agents were driven away in a black limousine.
That three-party transaction, seller-player-buyer, is soon to be forbidden.
On Wednesday, hundreds of men and a few women turned up in London for the one-hour test. Forecasts were that only 20 per cent would pass the £300-a-person examination.
Replacing the regulations that were unwisely abandoned eight years ago, the qualification pass rate stands at 75 per cent correct answers.
Previously, agents had to pay only a £500 fee with no exam to try to get rich quick.
Much swotting has been going on, although those who fail to pass have another chance in September, after which they will be welcome to make a profit by their own skills rather than a footballer’s.
Veteran agents will not be called upon to test.
And among those, the commonly held view is that newcomers whose prime motivation was to make a quick buck should face rigorous examination if, to start with, they could understand Fifa’s dense verbiage.

The failure rate could be as high as 80 per cent. This might leave the business as understaffed as the average NHS hospital.
But my suspicion is that agents will be around for as long as balls are kicked for cash. More

Balogun, 21, has enjoyed a remarkable campaign and is among the top scorers in Ligue 1.
The young striker has netted 19 goals and provided three assists in 32 games, helping Reims to 8th place in the table.
His rise to prominence was not expected to happen so quickly as he had only scored five goals in his 30 senior appearances before this season.
But despite this scintillating form, Arsenal legend Petit thinks he will be sold this summer.

He told Legal Sportsbooks: “I don’t know if they will continue with the strikers they have.
“They’ve got Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus.
“Folarin Balogun I think will be put on the market to be sold.
“There are so many clubs in France, and not just in France, who are very interested in him.”

Balogun is likely to have many suitors in the Premier League in the upcoming transfer window, which has seen Arsenal slap a £26.5million price tag on his head.
He has also been named as a reported target RB Leipzig and AC Milan.
Petit believes that the money brought in from his potential sale could help strengthen Mikel Arteta’s side, as the team needs “need four or five new players in the team”.
He added: “In midfield I think they need to add at least two players. Someone who can play in [Martin] Odegaard’s position. We’ve got [Emile] Smith-Rowe but he hasn’t had much playing time in the last few months.
“A central defender as well. When you look at the big teams in Europe they’ve got four strong defenders to choose from. You need to have some competition for players to earn their place.
“They’ve got two right backs but [Takehiro] Tomiyasu has been injured for such a long time. Ben White has been tremendous but you cannot expect players not to be injured during the season.
“[Gabriel] Martinelli has been tremendous and [Bukayo] Saka as well, but you can feel, especially with Saka, that he’s been tired recently. [Leandro] Trossard can play as a right winger or as a left winger but you probably need one more player that can play on the wings.” More

I went from fearless Premier League star to nothing – I felt worthless and lost family after I was stabbed in the back

And the transition from playing in front of thousands of people every week to having all the time in the world on his hands was a difficult one for the 40-year-old.
During an appearance on the Learning, As I Go podcast, Jenas admitted: “I felt like I was just worthless in the house.
“I’d gone from being Jermaine Jenas the footballer, walking in every day with your chest out, to nothing.
“As a young footballer, I was fearless. I’m in the tunnels with like [Patrick] Vieira, [Robert] Pires, [Thierry] Henry.

Jenas set up Aquinas Education – a scheme that offers football tickets to absent students at disadvantaged schools if they achieve perfect attendance – after his retirement.
The business – which initially focused on Nottingham-based kids – has been a successful one and has since branched out to London schools.
Although it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows in the early days.

He said: “You don’t make it that long unless you’ve been through certain experiences. We’ve had almost every experience.
‘People trying to rob us blind, people who worked for us as well. I’ve had people really close to me betray me.
“And yeah, it’s been very hurtful at times, that side of it. I’ve lost family members along the way, which has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to deal with.
“For me, a nice people-person, I try and bring people along with me.
“I’ve taken people out of difficult situations in their own lives where they were less fortunate, and brought them in, trained them, given them a great wage – and for them to stab you in the back was quite tough at the time.”
Jenas has also found success on the screen following his retirement – becoming a regular on Match of the Day and the BBC’s footy coverage.
But his status as a former Premier League footballer and a celeb has led many clients to question his role at Aquinas.
Jenas said: “The biggest question I still get asked to this day is: ‘What are you doing here?’.
“Any kind of investors coming in, they’ll ask: ‘What do you bring to the table?’. But I think it’s a fair question.
“They’re thinking “I’m in an education recruitment business and I’ve got Jermaine Jenas sitting in front of me. He’s not going to be in the office every week, so what’s he doing?

“I just tell them the story, my interest in the business, my value to the business, my day-to-day involvement. Me and my best friend speak every single day about the business.
“I’ve had imposter syndrome so often in my career and in my life that I know how to manage it now.
“I feel quite calm in my life and quite peaceful now. And I think, if you’ve got that, you’re rich.’
“But one of the things I’ve prided myself on is my close friends. I have two best friends and we’ve been close forever.
“One of them is Vaughan, he’s just come out of the army, and the other is Craig Anderson, who I started my business with.
“He came to me in 2008-09 and I was at an age where I was already starting to think about life post-football.
“He came to me for investment – he didn’t need to, I’d have given him the money for free – but said he had this idea about education.
“And I thought this was great as I could go back into schools and give something back.
