Marcus Rashford will be the player to watch for the Red Devils.
The forward has been in fantastic form this season having netted 27 goals in all competitions this season.
The England international has scored four goals in 13 appearances against Spurs, and has come out on the winning side nine times.
And he will be eyeing up more against Tottenham’s fragile defence.
For the hosts, the star will likely be Harry Kane. The England captain netted in the heavy defeat to Newcastle as he continued his fine form in front of goal this season.
Kane has fired in 24 goals in 32 league appearances this season as he continues to prove his importance to Spurs.
However, his record against United leaves much to be desired.

SunSport’s live blog coverage provides readers with out-of-form Spurs taking on FA Cup finalists Manchester United in an all-out war for the top four.
Going by form, you’d have to put United as the favourites because the Red Devils immediately bounced back from their Sevilla defeat by securing themselves a spot in the FA Cup final at the expense of Brighton.
While Spurs can’t seem to buy a win at the moment.
They were stunned by relegation-threatened Bournemouth almost a fortnight ago and then the North London club got humiliated 6-1 in Newcastle which led to the sacking of Cristian Stellini.
But both sides have to forget about form when it comes to a game with such magnitude as this one.
And SunSport will have the build-up, team news and starting line-ups all before kick-off at 8:15pm UK time.

KEVIN DE BRUYNE revealed how Manchester City tactically outmanoeuvred Arsenal in their Premier League title tussle on Wednesday evening.Pep Guardiola’s men thrashed the Gunners 4-1 at the Etihad to move within two points of Mikel Arteta’s side with two games in hand.

De Bruyne bagged a brace and Erling Haaland netted his 49th goal of the season as Man City’s superstar pairing tore Arsenal apart.
And De Bruyne explained after the match that he had been instructed to run off Haaland from deeper positions, targeting the space in behind Arsenal midfielders Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey depending on which of them was pressing.
He felt this also made it difficult for centre-backs Rob Holding and Gabriel as they were left unsure whether to track him or stick with Haaland.
Speaking to Peacock, he said: “The way that Arsenal press the opposition is top, it’s class.

“It’s almost impossible to play from the back, especially when its a goal kick – it’s like a set piece, and we know we had to play longer today and we tried a couple of things in training.
“I tried to get a little bit deeper and then tried to run off Erling when he kept the ball, and I think we found that a couple of times.
“I think in the first half we created some chances this way, and it was important to set the tone.
“Normally we play with two number eights and I think he [Guardiola] wanted a little bit more control because of the way they press.

“So Gundo [Ilkay Gundogan] would be a double six and I had to choose more the moments, depending on who presses out of Xhaka and Partey – if Partey was pressing I would try to go on his back and the other way round, and it was difficult for [Rob] Holding and Gabriel.
“[They had to decide] do they have to go with me or are they staying with Erling.
“I couldn’t find the moments in the first half, and obviously they switched a little bit in the second half, but I was a little more free today.”
De Bruyne now has nine goals and 27 assists in all competitions this season.
He has set up 18 goals in the Premier League, needing just three more to break the record for most assists in a single season – which he and Thierry Henry hold with 20.
Man City’s seven-game run-in contains games against Fulham, West Ham, Leeds, Everton, Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford.
Guardiola’s squad are also seeking a sensational treble as they are into the FA Cup final – where they will face Manchester United – and Champions League semis – where they take on Real Madrid. More

How Chelsea can save a small fortune by hiring Mauricio Pochettino to save Blues’ sinking ship

According to the Telegraph, the Argentinean tactician is not using a representative to negotiate his deal with the Blues, which means owner Todd Boehly won’t have to pay any agent fees.
The ex-Tottenham boss hasn’t hired any reps and is leading talks alongside his assistant Jesus Perez.
However, the final draft will be checked by a lawyer of Pochettino’s choosing.
The former Southampton boss will personally negotiate the length and value of his deal and thus Chelsea are set to save a huge amount in this appointment.

A deal between the two parties could be finalised by the end of the week or early next week.
Pochettino is expected to take over alongside his assistant Perez and three other members of his coaching staff.
That includes Miguel D’Agostino, Toni Jimenez and his own son Sebastiano Pochettino.
The former PSG boss is expected to have a strong hand in negotiations after Chelsea’s fifth successive defeat across all competitions.

How former Premier League ground was left abandoned for seven years and fans even had a bonfire on the pitch

CHARLTON’S ground The Valley was left abandoned for SEVEN YEARS before the inception of the Premier League. The Addicks moved into the stadium in the 1920s – a venue which once held 75,000 people for an FA Cup game in 1938.

But a lack of investment and safety fears saw the South-East London side vacate the ground in 1985.
They ended up sharing Selhurst Park with Crystal Palace.
And they were also forced to spend a season splitting Upton Park with West Ham.
New investment in 1992 eventually saw Charlton return to The Valley – where they have been ever since.

But during that seven-year spell away from their home, the ground became a cesspit.
Pictures from back then show the turf overgrown, rubbish scattered outside the entrance, and even a trolley on the pitch.
There are also images of locals playing football on the abandoned pitch – and starting a bonfire on the field of play.
It is a remarkably different scene to how The Valley looks in 2023.

Since returning to the ground, Charlton have redeveloped three of the four stands inside the 27,111-capacity venue.
They also have plans to develop the ground into a 40,000-seater.
Charlton returned to the top flight in 1998 for a first season in the Premier League.
But they were immediately relegated back to the second tier, before a seven-year run in the Premier League between 2000 and 2007.
Relegation down to the Championship 16 years ago was followed by a drop down to League One in 2009 – where they still are now despite two promotions back up to the second division between 2012 and 2019. More

The North Londoners weren’t spared after their shambolic performance against City and averaged just 3.7 out of 10.
Gabriel Magalhaes received the lowest grade as he got a 2 after a poor performance in defence.
Gabriel’s display was described as a “nightmare” as he failed to close down Kevin De Bruyne for the Citizens’ opening goal.

Thomas Partey managed a low grade of 3 as he lost the midfield battle.
Partey was also blamed for the opening goal and was described as a mere “spectator” when De Bruyne netted the third.
Rob Holding received the same grade as he started next to Gabriel at centre-back amid William Saliba’s glaring absence due to injury.
Holding was given the toughest task in the Premier League as he had to keep Haaland quiet.

Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli also got a 3 after failing to create chances.
Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ben White, Bukayo Saka and captain Martin Odegaard managed just a point higher, while Granit Xhaka was awarded a 5.

Ivan Toney, the third-highest scoring in the player in the Premier League this season, is believed to be of interest to the goal-shy Blues.

Erik ten Hag was snubbed for Premier League job before Man Utd because he ‘lacked charisma’

However, he nearly ended up in the Premier League the year previous when Spurs gave him consideration when looking to replace Jose Mourinho.
The Telegraph report that Tottenham chiefs decided to look elsewhere for their new gaffer due to Ten Hag supposedly not having enough charisma.
Language difficulties have also been cited as a reason why the North Londoners declined to make a move for him.
Instead, Spurs decided to appoint Nuno Espirito Santo as manager, but he lasted just four months in the job before he was sacked.

The club have since had turmoil with managers and are on their third of the season after the dismissals of Antonio Conte and Cristian Stellini with Ryan Mason now in charge.
Meanwhile, United have enjoyed a better season under Ten Hag and if anything, the reports suggests players have enjoyed his aura of directness and see communication as one of his strengths.
The club will look to tighten their grip on a Champions League spot for next term when they face Tottenham this evening.
