Maguire is sidelined with injury and instead, Luke Shaw has shifted over to centre-back.
And covering at left-back is Diogo Dalot, despite regularly playing on the right.
Shaw partners Victor Lindelof with Raphael Varane also out with an ankle injury that threatens to rule him out for the rest of the season.
And Lisandro Martinez has already been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign following a broken metatarsal bone in his foot.

It is not the first time Shaw has moved to a central position this season, having played there numerous times.
Erik ten Hag told BT Sport Maguire was left out because of a “training injury”.
United are five points above fifth-placed Aston Villa – with three games in hand.
And they also sit six points ahead of hosts Spurs, who are without a win in three following consecutive defeats.

Asked if the game is a good opportunity to strengthen United’s position in the top four, Ten Hag said: “Yes it is when you see the table.
“But we have to think about the game. We have to show we are very hungry, play on the front foot and show that we are determined.”
United went on to blow a two goal lead after Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford made it 2-0 before half time.
But Pedro Porro and Son Heung-min helped Spurs fightback to earn a point.

“There is a lot of work to do between now and the start of pre-season but I’m very hungry to get started and help the club continue to progress.

Jimenez has not featured since Wolves’ 4-2 defeat to Leeds last month.
Instead, former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid man Diego Costa has been leading the line up front.
And Jimenez’s partner, Daniela Basso, slammed the treatment of him on social media.
Speaking on Twitter, she said: “Loyalty? Being loyal is breaking your head and still being here at the foot of the canyon… just saying.”

Jimenez has not scored in any of his 13 Premier League appearances so far this season.
He bagged three goals in the Carabao Cup, but has not hit the back of the net in the league for more than a year.
And his future remains uncertain as he prepares to enter the final 12 months of his contract this summer.
Since Lopetegui dropped Jimenez from his squad, Wolves have won three of their last four games.

Top 10 most promising stars in world with Bellingham just 2nd & shock Premier League club boasting England’s best talent

JUDE BELLINGHAM was pipped to top spot as the world’s most promising young star. And there are two surprise clubs with the top talents plying their trade in English football.
Jude Bellingham is one of the top young players in world footballCredit: Rex

Bellingham, 19, has proven why he is being tipped with a £130million-plus transfer to Real Madrid or Manchester City with his performances for Borussia Dortmund and England.
But he has to settle for second place in the CIES Football Observatory’s young star power rankings for Under-20 players in 75 leagues around the world.
Bellingham’s 3.66 score – largely based on experience – is only behind the No1 ace, Gavi.
The Barcelona and Spain midfielder is still only 18 but has already racked up 90 senior club appearances as well as 19 caps, earning him a score of 4.37.
    READ MORE ON FOOTBALL
The record-breaking technician and Golden Boy winner, who scored at the World Cup, is already a key cog in Xavi’s midfield.
And despite interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich amid his complicated contract situation, Gavi is said to be keen to stay put at the Nou Camp, possibly for his entire career.
Marcos Leonardo completes the podium and is one of four Brazilian rising talents in the top ten.
The Santos man, 19, made his debut soon after his 17th birthday in 2020 and is a youth international.

Benfica’s teenager Antonio Silva is the only centre-back in the top ten.
But his 39 senior appearances – including in the Champions League quarter-final defeat to Inter – since his promotion from the B team justify his inclusion.
Vitor Roque, 18, is making a name for himself in attack for Athletico Paranaense.
That has earned him his senior Brazil debut against Morocco last month as Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona weigh up a swoop.
Gavi’s team-mate Alejandro Balde, 19, is sixth following the left-back’s rise from the La Masia academy to the first team and now a five-cap Spain star.
Another 19-year-old left-back, AZ Alkmaar’s Milos Kerkez, is next.
He spent a brief spell with AC Milan but has settled at AZ since joining in 2022 and breaking into the Hungary squad.
    BRILLIANT BRAZILIANS
Endrick is Brazilian No3 – and probably the most well known after already agreeing a £60m transfer to Real Madrid, who won the tussle for his signature.
The 5ft 8ins Palmeiras striker is still only 16 but had some of Europe’s biggest clubs chasing after him when he burst on to the scene in his homeland.
The fourth and final Brazil ace is Angelo Gabriel.
Leonardo’s pal at Santos, the 18-year-old forward born in December 2004 already has played a staggering 112 times for his boyhood club and was the subject of a failed bid from Newcastle.
Completing the top ten is Youssoufa Moukoko, the Borussia Dortmund striker.
The German, 18, registered ridiculous numbers in the academy and the club wasted no time promoting him to the first team as soon as he turned 16 in 2020 before featuring as the youngest German at a World Cup.
It means there are no players in England at the top of the list – with the first one down in 17.
And he does not play for one of the ‘Big Six’, ruling out of the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Carney Chukwuemeka and Harvey Elliott.
It is instead Wilfried Gnonto, the Leeds and Italy sensation.
Despite being snubbed by Javi Gracia in recent weeks, the former Inter Milan youngster, 19, has shown glimpses of his talent for club and country.
    Read More on The Sun
Ironically, immediately behind Gnonto is Matheus Martins of Watford.
The Brazil U20 star, 19, is on loan at Vicarage Road from Udinese following his move from Fluminense.

The 29-year-old is thought to be a target for Manchester United.
But Redknapp has suggested a controversial switch to Tottenham’s bitter rivals Chelsea could suit Kane instead.
Mauricio Pochettino, who previously coached Kane at Spurs, is on the verge of joining the Blues as manager.
When asked about Kane’s future, Redknapp told the Beyond The Pitch podcast: “It will be interesting if Pochettino goes to Chelsea.

“That wouldn’t go down very well with the Tottenham fans, that’s for sure. But you never know if Pochettino’s there.
“I’m sure Harry got on well with him [at Spurs].

Redknapp went on to say he can’t see Kane leaving the Premier League.
The England captain is on 207 Prem strikes – just 53 behind Alan Shearer’s all-time record.
And Redknapp reckons Kane could even end up penning a new deal and staying at Spurs, where has has been since the age of 11.
Redknapp concluded: “I’ve personally got a feeling he’ll stay and sign a new contract. I may be wrong but I think he could stay at Tottenham.”
That is the same view as Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher, who doesn’t believe Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will accept a bid for Kane this summer.
The Tottenham chief previously rebuffed Manchester City’s approach for Kane in the summer of 2021. More

The Man Utd boss told reporters: “Casemiro, in this team, he is such a leader, and he is so important for us”.
However, his value to the Red Devils appears not to have disheartened former Premier League boss Tuchel.

Bayern Munich are suffering a rare dip in form domestically, with Borussia Dortmund surpassing them at the top of the table last weekend.
The former Chelsea boss is therefore keen to bring experienced leaders into his dressing room during a summer rebuild.

Bayern are specifically focused on buying a top-class holding midfielder, which could raise question marks about Liverpool target Ryan Gravenberch’s future.
According to the Daily Mail, Casemiro is a top transfer target for the Bavarians.
It is understood that Tuchel would like to support Joshua Kimmich with greater defensive protection in the middle of the park, forming a double pivot to protect the the back line.

But most United fans have issued a hands-off warning.

Another added: “Please tell me this is a joke. He is unavailable!”.
Whilst other fans were willing to set some interesting terms.

Julian Nagelsmann ‘at top of five-man shortlist to become next Tottenham manager but wages demands causing huge problem’

JULIAN NAGELSMANN is Tottenham’s leading candidate to become their next manager, according to reports. But Spurs face a huge roadblock in their pursuit of the ex-Bayern Munich man as he is proving an expensive option.
Julian Nagelsmann is being heavily linked with the Spurs jobCredit: Getty
Nagelsmann, 35, who has reportedly ruled himself out of the Chelsea vacancy, was sacked by the German champions last month – although his contract has not been terminated.
It means he is essentially on gardening leave and is still receiving his £10.6million-a-year salary from the Bundesliga giants.
Joining from RB Leipzig in 2021, he still has three years left on his contract with Bayern.
So Tottenham’s acquisition of Nagelsmann would have to involve them paying Bayern compensation in order for his existing contract to be terminated.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
According to The Telegraph, there is a “limit” to the amount of compensation Spurs are prepared to pay Bayern.
And if he is deemed too pricey, they could look to alternatives on their four-man shortlist.
Celtic’s Ange Postecoglu, ex-Barcelona boss Luis Enrique, Brighton’s Roberto De Zerbi and Feyenoord’s Arne Slot have all been linked.
But one of them is now understood to have been taken off as Spurs whittle their shortlist down to just four candidates including Nagelsmann.

Writing in The Telegraph, Carragher claimed that Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will go down as one of the greatest teams in history if they win the treble this season.
The Anfield icon claimed European glory would allow Guardiola’s City to be classed on the same level as Arrigo Sacchi’s AC Milan, Johan Cruyff’s Barcelona, Rinus Michels’ Ajax, and Guardiola’s own Barca team.
But to Neville’s disbelief, Carragher left Ferguson’s United off his list.
The pair often exchange words online, and replying to his Sky Sports colleague on Twitter, Neville wrote: “Errrrr? You missed a team out my friend.”

Carragher argued by claiming United’s 1999 treble winning team did not influence the rest of Europe.
He hit back: “The Man Utd treble team did not influence European football!!!
“Those other teams/managers are still talked about today in terms of influencing the current generation of managers & tactics.”
Neville then blasted Carragher as “mad” – claiming Ferguson was responsible for changing the way managers view the game for introducing the concept of squad rotation.

He said to Carragher: “You’re mad!
“SAF [Ferguson] through that team pioneered squad rotation and having a pool of strikers.

But Carragher stuck to his guns, responding: “Cruyff: Total football. Sacchi: Compact high press. Pep: False 9, false fullback. SAF: Changed the team 😂😂.
“You know the respect I have for SAF but he deserves a better argument than that!!”
Neville came back by referencing the time Ferguson’s team selection was debated in parliament.
Fergie faced a petition from Port Vale fans that made it to Westminster after the United gaffer rested a host of big name players for a League Cup game back in 1994.
Neville wrote on Twitter: “You know how difficult it is to leave 6 players out for an FA Cup Semi v Arsenal!
