The 90,000-seater venue saw all the available tickets purchased and will host a crowd almost doubling the previous record.
Last year’s cup final hosted just over 49,000 fans, and the year before had 40,000 fans at Wembley.
This will be the ninth time the Women’s FA Cup final has been hosted at Wembley since the move in 2015.
The FA were recently criticised by Man United manager Marc Skinner for only allocating 7,500 tickets to each club.

He said: “I don’t know how many it is in the men’s game, but to give clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United 8,000 tickets to sell, it’s just crazy in my opinion.
“I don’t know how it works, in all honesty, I haven’t really looked into it but to give two massive clubs 8,000 tickets is, as I say, crazy – that is as simple as I can put it.”
At the time of the blast, 65,000 tickets had been sold and it worked as more tickets were distributed to the clubs.
The FA responded: “Chelsea and Manchester United have each been issued with an additional 7,500 tickets for their fans.

“This is to help meet the likely demand for each club and is almost double the amount of tickets that the finalists received last year.”
The Red Devils reached the final after beating Brighton 3-2 in the semi-final, while Chelsea beat Aston Villa 1-0.
The final at Wembley will kick off at 2.30 pm and will be shown on BBC One. More

Man Utd ‘preferred bidder emerges’ as Qatari Sheikh Jassim & Sir Jim Ratcliffe go head to head to take over from Glazers

THE Qatari-backed bid to buy Manchester United is supposedly the Glazers preferred option, according to a football finance expert.Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani is fronting the proposal and is rivalling INEOS owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Sheikh Jassim is reportedly the preferred bidder
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is also vying to buy Man UtdCredit: PA
The banker and son of the former prime minister of Qatar reportedly wants to buy the club out right.
However, his last bid supposedly fell just short of the Glazer family’s £6billion asking price.
Meanwhile, Ratcliffe wants to buy just over 50 per cent of the club to take the majority stake, therefore allowing brothers Joel and Avram to retain 20 per cent.
Sports finance expert Dr Dan Plumley believes the Americans would prefer to step back from Man Utd completely and take the larger amount of cash.
    READ MORE ON MAN UTD
He said to the Express: “If that is the price (£5-6bn) that the Glazers are wanting or at least are willing to sell at for a full takeover, my gut feeling on is that the Qatar bid is probably slightly preferred at the minute because it’s a full takeover.
“Also, through the connections of that owner, you know that you could get access to funds further down the line to build the club because you’ve got to look at infrastructure, you’ve got to look at squad development, etc.

“It’s not just the takeover price, it’s all the other stuff that comes with it, so it does feel like that’s the one that has the most clout.”
Plumley admitted he was “speculating slightly”.

He also revealed when the next owner could potentially be in place.
Plumley said: “You should be doing the full background checks all the way around.
“That’s the kind of time element to it, it might feel like it’s dragged on from fan’s point of view, but it was always likely to play out that way.
“It all seemed to be pointing towards a deal being done before the start of the next window so that the new owners potentially or investors could have plans in place for the summer and moving forward.
“I think we’re still on that timeline. I know it probably feels like we’ve been talking about it forever, but it seems to be that we’re moving towards that time scale still.”
Sheikh Jassim supposedly wants to make the club debt free.
As for Ratcliffe, he is predicted to be a more hands-on chief and be involved in transfers. More

If I wasn’t a footballer I’d be a trafficker – I hosted an orgy before a match, was tasered by cops & played in the Prem

FORMER Premier League star Gary Medel isn’t just your average footballer. From hosting a pre-match orgy to being tasered by cops, the tough-tackling star has lived an eclectic lifestyle on and off the pitch.

He has even admitted that he would be a “drug dealer”, were it not for football.
Still plying his trade in Serie A for Bologna aged 35, Medel appears to have cooled off from his younger days… but only slightly.
On his previous antics, he told Calciomercato in 2015: “I’ve made many mistakes in my life. Really dumb stuff.
“I was crazy when I was a kid, loco, crazy, I climbed to the top of trees and houses. Once, I even flew out of my car’s windscreen at 140 kilometres (87 miles) an hour: I wasn’t wearing my seatbelt.

“When I got to the hospital, I couldn’t feel one of my legs. If it hadn’t been for my family’s exemplary attitude I wouldn’t be here, I could have ended up a drug dealer.
“I’ve changed now: I’ve learned from my mistakes. I’ve shown hunger, desire, been smart.”
Medel’s story begins with his upbringing in the Conchali suburb of Chilean capital Santiago.
On his early days, the former Cardiff City man said: “I was always on the street, my father would have to drag me home by the ear.

Medel was involved in a terrifying car crash in 2009
He has had his fair share of run-ins with authority
“I was happy playing because my friends were there, but there were also bad people, and drugs. One distraction would be tantamount to going down the wrong path. Had I not broken through as a footballer, I’d probably be a drug dealer now.”
After being red carded during an Under-20s World Cup semi-final defeat to Argentina in 2007, Medel went on to claim that he had been tasered by cops following a run-in in the car park.
His dance with near-death followed two years later, as he miraculously survived his terrifying car crash.
On the experience, he said: “I flew through the windscreen and woke up in hospital. When I came to, I touched my leg, but I couldn’t feel it. I was terrified. And then, like magic, my agent waltzes in and slaps my leg. I felt it! That was a sign right there. Stuff like that makes you strong.”
Medel’s antics began to make waves in his homeland after he became a regular for the Chile senior side.
He was later caught in a now-infamous incident – reportedly watching on in just his national team shorts as two women “got lovey dovey” in a pre-game orgy.

Medel signed for Premier League Cardiff from Sevilla in 2013, and despite his side’s relegation he impressed enough to earn a move to Inter Milan.
In 2015 he experienced the pinnacle of his career, roughing up Lionel Messi as Chile beat Argentina to lift the Copa America.
    ‘WHAT A GUY’
Even this season as a grizzled veteran, Medel appears to have been up to his old tricks.
When ultras turned up at Bologna’s training ground, Scotland international Lewis Ferguson revealed to Open Goal that Medel had to be restrained by his team-mates.

The former Aberdeen ace said: “Medel picked the biggest guy out them all and was honestly wanting to take him one v one. The boys were holding him back.
“It was brilliant, I’ve never experienced anything like that. We got back inside I was like, f***ing hell, and the boys said: ‘Welcome to Italy.’ Medel, what a guy.”

Said Benrahma’s tame long-range effort was fumbled into his own net by the Red Devils keeper, 32, adding to the catalogue of errors he has already made this year.
But midfielder Eriksen, who last night won the Laureus World Comeback of the Year award after his cardiac arrest in 2021, insisted:  “Anyone can make a small mistake.
“David slips and then it is difficult from there — but he’s one of the reasons for where we are now.
