Rice, whose deal expires in June 2024 with a club option to extend by a further year, has turned down several contract extensions over the past 18 months.
And boss Moyes said: “We would love Declan to be a West Ham player but we are aware that may not be the case come the end of the season.
“That is one of the scenarios when it comes to planning.
“There are plans that we have Dec here but we are fully aware that there is a good chance we won’t have him.”

Rice has missed just one game for West Ham in the Premier League this season.
Illness ruled him out of the 3-0 defeat at Manchester City earlier this month, but he has played all 90 minutes in the Hammers’ other 34 league games this term.
West Ham have struggled in the Prem but will secure safety on Sunday if they win at Brentford.
There also remains the chance of qualifying for Europe for a third straight season should they go on to win the Europa Conference League next month.

Tottenham on verge of completing £30.5m first summer transfer as club begin rebuild after horror end to season

TOTTENHAM are set to make Dejan Kulusevski’s loan move permanent this summer.Reports from Italy this week had suggested the Swede, 23, would return to parent club Juventus when his 18-month loan is up at the end of this season.

Spurs are understood to be puzzled by such suggestions and fully intend to sign Kulusevski in the close season.
The North Londoners would be obligated to buy the winger for the agreed price of £30.5million should they finish in the Champions League this term.
With a top-four place looking unlikely, that obligation turns into an option for Spurs – but it is one they plan on taking up.
Kulusevski was a sensation when first arriving at the club in the second half of last season, helping the team to fourth place.

He has struggled to hit the same heights this term and has been impacted by injury, yet Spurs still see him as a key player moving forward.
Interim boss Ryan Mason dropped him to the bench for last Saturday’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, favouring Richarlison.
Yet speaking on Friday ahead of Saturday’s trip to Aston Villa, the caretaker chief said: “I love Deki as a player.
“I think he’s got so much room to grow and be a top, top player, even though he already is a top, top player.

Pedro, 21, has signed a five-year deal at The Amex and will join the club when the summer transfer window officially opens following this season.
The deal breaks Brighton’s previous club record signing of £20m paid to Bristol City in 2019 to sign defender Adam Webster and is a huge fee for Watford.
Pedro scored 11 goals and produced four assists in 35 Championship appearances this season.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side are also set to sign Liverpool midfielder James Milner on a free transfer.
Milner, 37, is out of contract at Anfield this summer and is expected to agree a one-year deal on the south coast, joining former Reds team-mate Adam Lallana at The Amex. More

He began playing for Stockport-based kids club Norbury Moor Rangers but was soon spotted by United legend Brian Kidd and signed a trainee contract at Old Trafford in 1997 and turned pro two years later.
Despite possessing dual nationality, he also went on to represent the Three Lions from U16 to U20 level.
The ace made his United debut in the final group match of the 2000 Fifa Club World Championship as a substitute and two more outings, one in the League Cup and another in the Premier League, followed the next season.
Loan spells with Belgian side Royal Antwerp and Oldham Athletic were next before this goalie departed United for Charlton in a £200,000 permanent deal having never conceded a goal for the club.

The man in question, of course, is Paul Rachubka.
He spent two years with the Addicks but most of that was out on loan to Burnley, Huddersfield, MK Dons, and Northampton before a spell back at Huddersfield led to them buying him in 2004.
Rachubka was in Yorkshire for three seasons, which included loans at Peterborough United and Blackpool, the second of which led to him joining them permanently.
It was with the Tangerines that he enjoyed the most match action of his career, playing over 100 times for them and winning the Player of the Year award, until Leeds swooped for him in 2011.

But his time at Elland Road was brief as he was sent out on loan to Tranmere, Leyton Orient and twice to Accrington Stanley prior to leaving permanently in 2013 for Oldham.
After two years there it was Crewe next, before stints at Bolton and Bury brought an end to his career in the Football League.
However, there was still one last adventure in store for Rachubka as he jetted off to India in 2017 to link up with former Manchester United team-mate Wes Brown.
He retired after playing one campaign for Kerala Blasters and now, aged 41, is enjoying life as an Associate Accountant for a company called The Accountancy People.
He described his role on his LinkedIn profile as: “My focus is on helping National Governing Bodies of Sport, Football Clubs and Individuals on a broad range of tax matters.

Newcastle assistant Jason Tindall’s Wikipedia page hilariously changed after ‘attention-seeking Mad Dog’ goes viral

WITTY football fans have torn into Newcastle’s “attention-seeking” assistant manager with a hilarious Twitter account – and even changed his Wikipedia page. But Eddie Howe has told his trusted sidekick to keep stealing the show.
Jason Tindall’s fame has risen with a brilliant Twitter account highlighting his anticsCredit: Sky Sports via Twitter

Jason Tindall played alongside Howe at Bournemouth and has been his No2 at the Vitality Stadium, Burnley’s Turf Moor and now St James’ Park.
And he has been gaining traction in recent weeks for his antics on the touchline as Magpies’ coach, nicknamed ‘Mad Dog’.
The Jason Tindall Desperate To Be Centre Of Attention Twitter account was set up way back in November 2016.
But the account has sky-rocketed to a whopping 43,000 followers thanks to his latest shenanigans amid the Toon’s pursuit of Champions League qualification.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
So much so that his Wikipedia page was changed to say: “Jason James Tindall (born 15 November 1977) is an English professional football manager and former player, who is currently the centre of attention at Newcastle United.”
Tindall, 45, has regularly been snapped right in the middle of squad photos – while boss Howe is content in the back corner – and often manages to catch the limelight with his pearly whites on show.
The ex-defender also likes to join in with the players’ celebrations after wins – on the pitch and behind the scenes – and Newcastle played up to the fun by tweeting a photo of Tindall and the goat emoji.
But his kryptonite is the full-time whistle, prompting him to make a seemingly-uncontrollable step towards the opposition manager for the first handshake.

Thomas Frank and Mikel Arteta duly obliged but Tindall went viral when Bournemouth chief Gary O’Neill brilliantly snubbed him, blanking the No2 to go straight to Howe.
But the main man Howe has no issue with Tindall’s “eye for the camera”.
He said: “I’ve spent the last half an hour laughing with him.
“It’s crazy how social media can create these things.
“He’s a good-looking guy so when people take pictures of him he gives off a good smile!
“I’ve heard he gets called ‘Mad Dog’ and I’ve started calling him it too.
“He’s an energetic personality, definitely more extroverted than I am, but that’s why we work. At his core, he’s a serious coach.”
Howe also said he “encourages” Tindall to be active throughout matches.
He added: “To understand his role you have to go back to where we started, which gives context to the reason he is in those situations.
“We started with no money with no real facilities and it was just the two of us.

“We did everything together. You name it, we did it. We were a partnership. We would travel five hours in a car together to watch the opposition. “
“It was just the two of us and we’ve never changed that approach.”

While in England, the defender won two FA Cups, the League Cup and the Uefa Super Cup.
Leboeuf starred on the international stage too, winning the World Cup with France in 1998 and then the European Championships in 2000.
But since retiring from football in 2007, Leboeuf has had quite a dramatic career change.
Rather than gracing fans screens on a football pitch, he now enjoys time on the big screen and TV as an actor.

Asked by the BBC about his new career, Leboeuf said: “I came back to my first passion which was movies and plays. When I was four years old I wanted to be an actor.
“When I gave up my career I went to LA to learn the process of acting. We have a chance to have maybe two different lives and I wanted to try that and it works pretty well.”
Indeed, Leboeuf’s passion for the performing arts eventually saw him land a role as a Swiss doctor in the 2014 film The Theory of Everything.
On landing the role, he added: “I called my agent and said it (the audition) didn’t work very well and then about a week after she said ‘come on you French beep, you got it’!

“And I said ‘oh my god it’s fantastic’.”
The Stephen Hawking biopic saw the film nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars, while lead actor Eddie Redmayne, who plays Professor Hawking, won Best Actor.
The movies nomination saw Leboeuf earn the unique title of the first person to win the World Cup and star in an Oscar-nominated movie.
“For me it’s just the beginning for another career,” he continued.
“I don’t want to stop there and say ok well I did that and was nominated but I only played three minutes.
“What I want is maybe someday to have a role like Eddie Redmayne has and be able to show what I’m capable of but we’ll see.”
Since his cameo in the film, Leboeuf has expanded his acting CV, starring in the French stage play Ma belle mere et moi neuf mois apres, as well as a host of French TV shows and movies.
His most recent role came in 2020 when he starred in an episode of French detective TV show Commissaire Magellan.

However, Leboeuf remains determined to achieve his dream of landing his Oscar.
Asked whether he would consider swapping a Best Actor Oscar for his World Cup winners medal, he said: “Why do you want me to swap when I can have both?” More
