But in an interview with ESPN, the veteran has suggested he will stay at Stamford Bridge.
He said: “I have a contract here, right? It’s strange, because several things have come out and fans become very passionate.

The centre-back that outlined the only two reasons why he would move on this summer, saying: “I only won’t stay here if Chelsea decide they don’t want me for next season.

“There are many messages getting sent, saying ‘come back soon’. There is great anxiety from them, especially when things are coming out in the press, some untruths.
“I even said to my wife, ‘I don’t know what meeting they’re talking about claiming I’m close to a return’, there’s nothing.
“After another year, there would certainly be a desire to return.”
Silva’s outspoken wife Belle also confirmed the player is hoping to still be at the club next season.
She said: “We, my family, my husband, children and me are very happy here in London, in Chelsea.

It’s a huge day in the title race today, and after Manchester City got the win against Everton in this game our attention now turns to Arsenal who face off against Brighton at The Emirates.

    Manchester City – P-35, GD-61, PTS 85
    Arsenal – P35, GD-44, PTS 81

A win for Arsenal would see them again just one point behind Manchester City, so they will be hoping that City slip up at some point over the next three games.
Here is a reminder of the run in for both sides:

That is all from us on this one, but keep up to date with how Arsenal are getting on with our live blog of their game against Brighton here.
    Full-time stats
This is how the match stats look at full-time, after we saw Manchester City dispatch Everton away from home.
It was a dominant performance by the visitors in the end, after a tough first half an hour, and that was reflected in the scoreline…
The full-time match stats between Everton and Manchester City
    Man of the match:
The prestigious SunSport man of the match award today could only really go to one man.
Ilkay Gundogan was sensational for the Cityzens, just as he was against Leeds United last weekend, and has been for most of this season.
His first goal is worthy of being hung in “The Loov” as fellow goalscorer Erling Haaland would say, it consisted of a gorgeous first touch and a no-look finish that most number 9’s would struggle to score.
He then set up Haaland in a flash double for City that put the game out of Everton’s control, before stroking home a free-kick.
It was a brace that was better to watch than most hat-tricks, and Silky Ilkay has cemented his time as a Premier League all-timer this season.
    What a player.
Ilkay Gundogan scored a brace and was awarded Man of the Match against EvertonCredit: Reuters
    FT. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Full-time here at Goodison Park, and what a game we saw.
Manchester City extend their Premier League winning run to eleven games, and Erling Haaland scored yet again to make it 36 Premier League goals this season.
One step closer to another league title for Manchester City.
    90+2. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Ruben Dias is being replaced now by Sergio Gomez.
It’s the rest of the day off for the Portuguese centre-half on his 26th birthday.
    90. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
There will be four additional minutes at the end of this one.
    88. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Kalvin Phillips is on in replacement of Rodri for the visitors.
He is yet to set the world alight in a sky blue shirt, but like many players his time will come…
    86. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Everton hook the ball into the middle towards Tarkowski, and look to be applying some pressure late on in this one.
They just don’t seem to be able to put the ball in the back of the net, which is probably a large reason of why they are where they are in the league table.
    84. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Rodri drives through the Everton midfield, but his pass is poor and too far ahead of Jack Grealish.
    82. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Special mention to the Manchester City faithful here at Goodison Park, singing my favourite chant of the season.
It’s their rendition of Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac – “Awooooo, I’ll follow you everywhere!”
    80. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
You have to feel for the Everton defence.
Seeing Haaland and Gundogan leave the pitch would bring you a sigh of relief, but then on come Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva.
    Nightmare.
    77. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Here is the Manchester City change, it is a double change at that.
Bernardo Silva comes on for Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish comes on for Erling Haaland.
    77. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Another change for Everton, as Demarai Gray comes on in replacement of James Garner.
Manchester City are lining up a change too…
    75. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Mahrez gets away down the right hand side, and crosses the ball towards Erling Haaland who looks destined to score.
Pickford then clatters into Haaland, and the England number one has maybe got away with one there.
    73. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Dwight McNeil gives away a foul on Riyad Mahrez this time, which just eases the pressure for Manchester City, who will want to keep a clean sheet here.
    70. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Everton have got some encouragement from Manchester City taking it somewhat easy the past few minutes or so.
Akanji and Maupay go shoulder to shoulder, and the Frenchman is fuming that he hasn’t got a free-kick out of that.
    67. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
    Everton hit the bar!
The corner is cleared by Ederson, though not convincingly and Everton will have another corner.
This one is far more threatening and Tarkowski heads it onto the crossbar after a touch from the Brazilian goalkeeper.
    66. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
McNeil lines up a shot from distance, but it is blocked by Ruben Dias for another Everton corner…
    64. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Could we see a few Manchester City changes coming in the coming moments?
Erling Haaland and Ilkay Gundogan would be the obvious players that Pep would want to rest for the huge Real Madrid clash on Wednesday.
    62. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Doucoure does well initially to put the pressure on the Manchester City defence, but eventually fouls Manuel Akanji.
    60. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Onana and Iwobi combine well on the left hand side, and win a corner for The Toffees.
The subs seem to have livened the game up a bit.
The corner causes some panic for Ederson, but City are eventually able to clear.
    58. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Everton have shifted to a back five now it seems, and it might be a matter of damage limitation for them now.
Goal difference could be vital for them this season in terms of staying in the Premier League.
    54. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
    Double substitution for Everton.
Idrissa Gueye and Mason Holgate are swapped for Amadou Onana and Conor Coady.
    52. Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Another free-kick for Manchester City here on the edge of the box, this time Riyad Mahrez strikes it against the wall and it will be a Manchester City corner.
    50. GOAL! Everton 0-3 Manchester City
Ilkay Gundogan scores from the free-kick!
Him and Mahrez are stood over the ball, but it is the German who whips the ball over the wall and it floats into the back of the net.
That is four goals in two games for Gundogan.
    Incredible.

Man Utd fans gush ‘can’t wait for this link-up’ as they spot Garnacho sneaking into fellow wonderkid’s DMs

MANCHESTER UNITED fans cannot wait for a link-up between Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo after their Instagram exchange. Both attacking stars enjoyed strong Saturdays that bode well for United’s future.

Garnacho made his first Premier League appearance since March as he came off the bench to finish off Wolves with a well-taken late strike.
And then later in the evening loanee Diallo scored an absolute stunner to help Sunderland equalise in the first leg of their play-off semi-final against Luton.
Garnacho is just 18 and Diallo is just 20, leaving supporters excited about the prospect of the two wingers spending many years putting the fear of God into defenders at Old Trafford.
And their own excitement only grew after Garnacho sent an uplifting Instagram message to his fellow wonderkid.

The young Argentine shared a pic of the Sunderland winger celebrating his curling effort against Luton and captioned the pic: “what a player”.
The compliment was enough to spark fantasies from United’s fans about the pair sharing a pitch together one day.
One said: “Their link up at Old Trafford next season is going to hit like crack.”

While one other excited fan said: “The Garnacho x Amad era is starting and I’m here for it.”
And another said: “Garnacho and Amad better than [Real Madrid’s] Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo in my book”.
Garnacho has had to be patient for first team opportunities this season but has regularly impressed fans and pundits with his impact off the bench.
Arguably his most important moment was just before the World Cup when he scored a last minute winner away at Fulham.
While Diallo has enjoyed plenty more football at second-tier Sunderland and can lay claim to 14 goals and three assists in the league. More

Wright, 59, has been a regular on the show for years, while Wright-Phillips, 41 made his first-ever appearance on the programme.
The duo were confirmed on the line-up by Match of the Day earlier this week with many excited at the prospect of seeing their dynamics.
During the show, Lineker was keen to drop in as many jokes as possible.
The former Barcelona and Tottenham striker introduced them by saying, “We’ve got a Wright pair in the studio, Ian and Shaun. Welcome Shaun.”
    READ MORE MOTD
The show started with an analysis of Leeds’ 2-2 draw with Newcastle at Elland Road.
The pair agreed on their opinions of the game, which led Lineker to say: “It’s lovely when father and son agree.
“It doesn’t always happen. I know from my own experiences.”
One of the funniest moments came later in the show as Lineker read out that Taiwo Awoniyi was the first player to score consecutive braces for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League since 1995.

And he joked to Shaun: “You were in nappies and he was teaching you how to wee at that point.”
The two laughed before Lineker informed Shaun he was actually 14 in 1995.
Wright jokes: “He was still pretty small though! I remember!”
Wright-Phillips hit back with, “I’m actually tall right now!.”
During the coverage of Tottenham’s defeat at Villa Park to Aston Villa was another great moment.
While Wright was giving his opinion on how Spurs should have taken advantage of Villa’s high defensive line, he was interrupted by his son.
Wright-Phillips said: “Dad are you just saying that because it’s Spurs right?”
To which Wright replied: “Did you see the offsides? If you made runs like that when you were younger, you’d be in serious trouble!”
Leading to Lineker to break up the bickering with: “Let’s move on, we don’t want any domestics! I can’t believe you said that!”
But Villa fans watching were left fuming with the coverage of their match as they argued that the defense has been greatly improved since Unai Emery’s arrival at the club.
One viewer tweeted: “Appalling analysis. Instead of praising the defensive high line (which has caught out the opposing teams over 90 times since Emery has taken charge), they instead criticise Spurs for not exposing it and instead saying Villa will get found out eventually.
    “Fresh punditry needed.”
A second said: “Thought the MOTD analysis was very poor villa controlled that game from start to finish, and all they could talk about was our high line.”
A third wrote: “Wow… how lucky were Villa today. Didn’t deserve the win, just lucky that Spurs were so bad.

I arrived at Everton a God and held hot-tub party at Finch Farm but I used to think Moyes was taking the p*** with me

EX-EVERTON ace Royston Drenthe spent less than a year at Goodison Park but still has a lot of memories.Drenthe joined the Toffees on loan from Real Madrid in 2011 and enjoyed a warm reception that made him feel “like a God”.

Drenthe was linked with hot tub parties at Everton but insists it was “nothing too crazy”Credit: Instagram @roya2faces
The 36-year-old, who has yet to officially retire, loved his brief stint with the Merseysiders despite his turbulent relationship with then manager David Moyes.
The winger felt Moyes was “taking the p**s” out of him but now understands the Scotsman was right “on the whole” and praised his work at West Ham.
Drenthe exclusively told Ladbrokes Fanzone: “I loved my time at Everton; I can honestly say it was amazing there.
“I think what I loved most was the people; it’s this massive city with two huge football clubs, and I was honoured to represent one of them, as it was always a dream of mine to play in the Premier League.
    Read More on Football
“It’s as close as I’ve felt to being in Feyenoord, too, and I put that down to the people. Liverpool was a great home for me… it’s a shame that things didn’t quite go well enough for me on the pitch, because I could have easily seen myself playing for that club for a couple of years.
“A lot has been made in the past of my time at the club, and the kind of character I was when I joined, and people know all about my relationship with David Moyes – especially while I was a player at Goodison Park.
“I think back now with a completely different mindset, though; as a 36-year-old, I can understand and appreciate the job he was doing, and how I thought back when I was 25 perhaps wasn’t always right.
“Back then, I was firmly of the belief that Moyes was simply out to prove to the other players that he could get under my skin. We’d argue and I’d just think, ‘What the f**k? Is he taking the p**s?’.
    Most read in Football
“And while there are certain occasions where I can say I still feel I was in the right, on the whole I’d say he was. Ultimately, he wanted to get the best out of me as a player, he wanted to help me, I just couldn’t see that at the time. But people change, and I can look back now a lot older and wiser, and I can understand why he did what he did with me.
“I really like him as a manager, too. I think that when he’s given the right club, with the right amount of time, he can do great things. We saw it at Everton and we’re seeing it again, now, at West Ham.
“Despite the club being in a difficult position earlier on in the season, he seems to have steered them away from relegation and they’re in a really strong position in Europe. Sometimes certain moves just don’t work out for you, and I think ultimately that was the case at Manchester United.
“When you take over a club like that, the expectation is on you straight from the offset; you don’t have time to settle in, or to get things wrong. And, as I said, I feel like Moyes is the kind of person who needs that time, to implement his own ideas.”

Drenthe also addressed rumours involving him holding hot tub parties at Everton’s training ground.
The former Netherlands international admits he did bring friends and family to Finch Farm to hang out in the jacuzzi but insists it was “nothing too crazy”.
Drenthe said: “Yes, I’ve seen what my former teammates have said about me in the past, notably Tim Howard talking about the time I invited friends to the training ground hot tub in the middle of the night.
“First of all, I’ll say – this is something which often happens – the real story ended up being blown up massively and turned into something which wasn’t true.
“Yes, I went to Finch Farm in the early hours, but only ever with friends and family who were coming over to see me; I didn’t see anything wrong with it at all!
“I came to Everton as a 24-year-old, in a new environment, and honestly I felt like a God at the time of my move. So whenever my friends or family came to visit me in England, of course I was going to take them with me!
“It wasn’t as crazy as it’s been made out in the past, you know, sometimes I would take a couple of family members, sometimes it would be a group of friends, but nothing too crazy. It wasn’t affecting any of my teammates; no one was there at the time, I just wanted to bring people over.
    Read More on The Sun
“Does it bother me when my former teammates tell these stories? No. I don’t have a problem with any of my Everton teammates, or with what Tim said last year.
“He’s right; it happened, and I’ve explained why I did it… I’d happily go for a drink with him today if he asked – or any of my other teammates; I only have good things to say about them. More
