However, a return of just two assists in 16 games has seen his time at Stamford Bridge slapped with a need to improve mark.
And with Chelsea’s miserable season now just two games away from being finished, Mudryk took to Instagram to hint at his unhappiness with his post-world cup season.
He posted a picture alongside Ukraine Under-21 star Maksym Taloverov with the caption: “I miss the time when we were happy like this.”
The post could also, however, be a reference to the ongoing war in his homeland, with 15 months now having passed since Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In the photo, the duo can be seen laughing, with Mudryk donning a cap and glasses with a back pack.
The pair played together at Under 21 International level.
Taloverov replied to the post by saying: “Love you brother😭❤️.”
Comments on the post were limited, but Mudryk had also taken to his Instagram earlier in the day, sharing a post of him in the gym.

However, this move collapsed when Chelsea threw a superior offer on the table for the speed demon.

Amid his struggles, SunSport revealed Mudryk was set to bring family to London to help him settle in. More

WEST HAM fan Chis Knoll “nearly cried” when the club offered him a ticket for the Europa Conference League Final after fighting off thugs at AZ Alkmaar.Knoll, who is better known as Knollsy, was at the stands in the semi-finals when the Hammers beat AZ 1-0 and confirmed their place in the final against Fiorentina on June 7.

Football hooligans attacked the away end where relatives and friends of the players as well as coaching staff were seated after the full-time whistle.
However, the 58-year-old stood up to the yobs and fought dozens of them at the same time as he defended the team’s loved ones.
Knollsy’s defiance was caught on camera and he quickly reached celebrity status among the West Ham faithful, who now dub him the “Angel of Alkmaar”.
That experience didn’t scare Knoll off as he was desperate to find a ticket for the final in Prague.

And a club official he met before the AZ game called him up and gave him one for free to thank him for protecting the team’s families.
Dad-of-four Knollsy told The Mail: “I am at work and when I got the call today, I nearly cried. I am, so pleased, so happy. I am made up.”
He added: “She [club official] said she was sitting two rows behind me and saw what happened. She said I had been very courageous and that I deserved a ticket.
“It’s ironic that she was the one who phoned me today. I remember joking with her earlier about whether she could get me a ticket if we got to the final.

“I know how difficult it is to get a ticket. I am so happy at this.”
Knollsy received a standing ovation from the home crowd on Sunday before West Ham’s final game of the season at London Stadium against Leeds.
Knoll revealed it took him over an hour to leave the stadium as fellow fans expressed their gratitude for his bravery in the Netherlands.
Knollsy said: “What a reception, a standing ovation, my own song and I never bought a single beer.
“It took me the best part of an hour to walk half way around the stadium at the end of the game on Sunday.
“I was made to feel like the people’s champion. I noticed the amount of women thanking me for looking after their families. I’m on the crest of a wave at the moment’. More

When Gerrard was sacked, the 44-year-old left the Villans and spent a spell at QPR.
He has now re-joined the Seasiders on a four-year deal.
On his return to the club, Critchley told club media: “It feels special to be back and I’m thoroughly looking forward to the task that lies ahead.
“Looking back on my departure 12 months ago, I didn’t handle that in the manner I should have done. I enjoyed a fantastic relationship with Simon (Sadler) previously, and I thank him for this wonderful opportunity to come back to this special football club.

“I look at the club now, and it has had a bump in the road but there is no reason why we can’t get back on track.
“It’s up to us – and I include myself in that – to reset and become who we were as a group again.
“Collectively, the staff, players and supporters have shared some special moments together, and I know we all want to experience that again, which is what we will be working towards.”

Owner Simon Sadler revealed that there were many candidates interviewed for the job but Critchley was the “front-runner” for the job.
He said: “After an extensive recruitment process, which included many interviews with various candidates over the past few weeks, I kept coming back to Neil as being the right man to take us forward.
“He gained promotion with us, kept us in the Championship in our first season back in the division and has an impressive record when it comes to developing players.
“He was the clear front-runner for the position and I hope everyone gets behind him and the squad as we push to get back into the Championship.
“I’d also like to thank Stephen Dobbie for stepping up for the final six matches of the season.
“He did a wonderful job in what were challenging circumstances, and I am confident he will have a successful career in first-team management in the years to come.”
Dobbie, who has been acting manager following the exit of Mick McCarthy, has returned to his role in the development squad. More

I’m a hair transplant doctor for Premier League stars – the procedure can change their lives and make them even better

PREMIER LEAGUE stars have access to some of the best facilities in the world including hair care.Players and managers alike have stunned with incredible hair transplants that have rejuvenated their luscious locks.

But now has a luscious head of hair thanks to a transplantCredit: AFP or licensors
The person responsible for helping the players is Dr Victor Hasson, who works as a hair transplant doctor in Vancouver, Canada.
He told The Telegraph: “I have worked on players whose lives have been changed.
“They are able to perform at a high level when they have that confidence.
“It’s an abstract kind of decision to have surgery but essentially, when you feel comfortable, and you feel and look good, it is tremendous to have that confidence.”
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
While he has not disclosed his client list, former Tottenham and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is his most famous.
The Italian, 53, started to lose his hair in his twenties and after treatment in Italy, he turned to Hasson for a permanent solution.
Conte revealed that he was happy with the results after he had gone to Vancouver to see Hasson.
The success of his practice along with partner Dr Jerry Wong has seen the drugs used in the process removed from the list of banned substances.

Hasson’s clinic does not come cheap though as the cost of restoring a hairline can be priced between £9,600 to £12,900.
While rejuvenation of the top of the head and crown can cost between £20,000 to £24,000.
Another football star that has recently wowed with the transition is Arsenal ace Rob Holding.
The defender was going bald but returned to the limelight when people noticed his hair had returned thanks to the procedure.
However, Holding, 27, instead visited the Wimpole Clinic in London and was helped by Dr Luciano Sciacca.
The success of his treatment has seen him need to wear a hairband during matches to stop his hair from covering his eyes.
Michael Panayiotis Kokotsis, the clinic’s marketing manager, admitted that the reaction to his results have been very positive.
He said: “For Rob, the result was absolutely fantastic.

“He has been great for our business because lots of young men are looking at him [losing his hair] and saying, ‘Wow, that’s me’.” Holding has been open about his surgery, which is, by its very nature, hard to miss.
“On World Mental Health Day in October, Holding tweeted about how his new hair had benefited his mental health. Kokotsis says it struck a chord with many young men.
“He [Holding] was very open about it.
“Every time he plays, I see a spike in our analytics. On the day he scored that headed goal against West Ham [May 1 last year], it went through the roof.
“People see him and he is a walking advertisement for what a fantastic hair transplant looks like.”
Kokotsis claimed that former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney’s £30,000 procedure may have put normal people off of the idea, but claimed the average cost of hair transplants is £5,000 in Britain.

Along with Rooney, Holding and Conte is Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp another famous face in football that is open about the results that he saw.
While there are others in the sport that have not spoken about their process, despite results wanting to be noticed.

After addressing the team as a whole, Fergie gave a series of one-on-one pep talks to Sale’s players, including with England centre Manu Tuilagi.
Since retiring in 2013, Sir Alex has regularly given speeches and lectures on the concept of leadership.
In 2014, Harvard announced that Fergie would take up a “long-term teaching position” where he would lecture on the strategy of winning both in business and in sport.
Sir Alex’s connection with Sale goes back six years to October 2017, when he attended their Challenge Cup clash against Toulouse.

Arsenal set for end of Wenger era with five remaining players he signed at risk of summer transfer exits

ARSENAL’S Arsene Wenger era could come to a definitive end this summer with the remaining players left over from his squad linked with an exit.Despite it being five years since Wenger left, a number of players from his final season remain at the club.

The mix of veterans and youngsters from the Wenger era are all linked with moves away from Arsenal.
Here are the players who could leave the Gunners this summer.
    Granit Xhaka

It’s been a Hollywood comeback story for Xhaka, 30, who often came under criticism during Wenger’s reign.
    READ MORE ARSENAL
The Swiss midfielder was made captain by Wenger’s successor, Unai Emery, but was stripped of his role in spectacular fashion back in 2019.
The midfielder mouthed at fans to “f*** off” when he was subbed off to a chorus of boos in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.
Despite losing the captaincy, he has been a stalwart of Mikel Arteta’s side since the Spaniard took over in December that year.
He has been in fine form this season, playing every league game and scoring five times for the Gunners as they sat at the top of the table for the majority of the campaign.

But it looks as though Xhaka may be keen to leave the Emirates on a high, with talks taking place over a £15m move to Bayer Leverkusen.
BETTING SPECIAL – BEST NO DEPOSIT CASINO OFFERS
Ahead of Arsenal’s final game of the season at home to Wolves, Xhaka was asked whether this would be his last game in an Arsenal shirt by The Evening Standard.
He said: “You will know the latest next week, for sure.
“I think they (the fans) deserve that and I do myself as well. We have one more week of this Premier League season, the first thing is I want to enjoy [it] and, for sure, you guys will know next week what happens with my future.”
    Mohamed Elneny
Elneny playing for Arsenal this season prior to his knee injury.Credit: PA
Elneny was signed by Wenger from Basel in 2016 in a cut-price £7million deal.
The midfielder has endured a mix of fortunes at The Emirates, often playing a back-up role and at one point finding himself out on loan to Besiktas.
But the midfielder proved his worth to Arteta last season when he came in to deputise well for the injured Thomas Partey during the latter part of the campaign.
He was rewarded for his efforts with a one-year contract extension in May 2022 and signed a further extension this February.
But it’s been an injury-hit campaign for the Egyptian international and he has not featured for the Gunners since undergoing knee surgery in January.
The midfielder has fallen down the pecking order since Arsenal signed Jorginho in January and may fall further if rumours are to be believed of Arsenal’s interest in Moises Caicedo and Declan Rice.
    Rob Holding

Holding joined the Gunners as a promising youngster from Bolton all the way back in 2016.
He made a decent start to life at Arsenal and was a reliable part of the Wenger team that won the 2017 FA Cup, playing the full 90 minutes in Arsenal’s 2-1 cup final victory over Chelsea.
But since suffering an ACL injury in December 2018, Holding has largely played a back-up role.
The defender came in to deputise for Ben White towards the end of last season and it was his costly red card against Spurs in a 3-0 defeat that ultimately cost Arsenal Champions League football.
He has also been tasked with covering William Saliba since March after the Frenchman got injured in Arsenal’s Europa League defeat to Sporting CP.
His time in the side coincided with Arsenal losing form in the title race and the club are reportedly willing to listen to offers in order to upgrade on their back-up centre half.
    Reiss Nelson
Nelson hypes up the crowd during Arsenal’s defeat to BrightonCredit: Getty
Still aged just 23, Nelson did not have a great deal of first-team exposure under Wenger.
He did feature heavily in the Europa League, however, making eight appearances as Wenger opted to rotate heavily in Europe.
He also made three Premier League appearances in Wenger’s final season.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have offered Nelson a new four-year deal until June 2027, with an option to extend by a further year.
But he also reports that Nelson has interest from clubs in England, France and Italy.
Nelson has made 17 appearances for the Gunners this season, and may be tempted by the lure of guaranteed first-team minutes.
    Eddie Nketiah
Nketiah during last week’s clash with BrightonCredit: Reuters
Nketiah was another youngster that Wenger gave limited minutes to in his final season.
He made five appearances in the Europa League and appeared as a substitute three times in the Premier League.
The Arsenal forward signed a bumper new £100k a week contract last summer after impressing during the tail end of the campaign.
He was also given the coveted number 14 shirt, once worn by Thierry Henry as a show of faith in the 23-year-old.

But he has found himself playing second fiddle this season to Gabriel Jesus, despite assurances of first-team minutes.
The forward may look to move this summer in order to establish himself as a first choice No9. More
