ARSENAL wonderkid Tyreece John-Jules has pleaded with the club to end his “draining” loan odyssey as he wants to “settle down”.John-Jules, 22, has been with the Gunners since the tender age of eight years old but has never broken into the senior squad.

The striker has instead been sent out on loan five times in the last three years as he has played for Lincoln City, Doncaster Rovers, Blackpool, Sheffield Wednesday and now Ipswich.
The England Under-21 international has only one year left in his contract with the North Londoners and has pleaded with them to either give him a chance or let him try his luck elsewhere.
The Ipswich ace is “all ears” regarding a potential offer from Arsenal or another club as he appears tired of constantly moving around the country on loan.
John-Jules told The Beautiful Game: “I’ve got one year left on my contract at Arsenal.

“I’ve had five loans now and each one feels like you’re getting further from the first team.
“That said, my boy [Folarin] Balogun is ripping it up on loan at the moment [at Reims] and I’d say he’s getting closer.
“I guess everyone has their own path. Right now I’m just trying to get back fit for the start of pre-season.
“Talks will have to happen at some point – whether I stay, go out on loan or leave on a permanent.

“I just want to settle somewhere, whether that’s signing a new contract with Arsenal or going somewhere else on a permanent.
“I think it’s time to settle down and just focus and chill instead of hopping from loan to loan. It’s difficult and it’s draining travelling to all these places.
“Settling and focusing on one team would be ideal, whether that’s Arsenal or somewhere else.
“I’m all ears. I want to hear every side and I will pick the best option for me.” More

He says: ” So you see that man at the gym working hard trying to better himself with a trainer, he’s in an embarrassing situation where yes, he is a little exposed and you decide, hey let me take a video of it to post on social media to make fun of him all for attention, really.?
He continued: “Pardon my language, but what the f*** is wrong with you?
“And you’re a professional soccer player, you play for Chelsea in the Premier League, is this how you want to represent yourself and your team?”
Swoll then goes on to recall a situation where he encountered a similar situation.

He recalled: ” I was at Gold’s gym, I saw a woman in the same situation, she was on the lat pull down, she was a little exposed, so I walked up to her very discretely and said excuse me and I told her, she pulled her pants up and thanked me.
“I’m not saying you have to do that but at least mind your own business or tell the trainer to help him out.
“But what you don’t do is take a video to post online for millions to see to make fun of this man, and the fact you don’t know better or want to set a better example as a professional athlete, really?
“You need to do better, mind your own business.”
This isn’t the first time Mudryk’s use of social media has come under fire.
He had to apologise after using a racial slur in one of his TikTok videos.

They thought that French World Cup-winning forward Mbappe, 24, was heading to the Bernabeu last summer until he famously snubbed them to pen a new mega-contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
However, L’Equipe claims that his deal with PSG will end in June 2024 and he is unlikely to trigger the option of a 12-month extension.
And the possibility of signing him on a free transfer as a replacement for veteran Karim Benzema should entice them to make a renewed effort to land him.
But the French outlet also claims that Madrid are keeping tabs on Manchester City goal machine Haaland too.

The Norwegian international left Dortmund for the Etihad last summer and he has scored 52 goals in an incredible debut campaign in England.
The 22-year-old has already celebrated winning the Premier League title and now hopes to fire City to FA Cup and Champions League glory to seal an historic treble.
Benzema, 35, is expected to pen a new one-year contract with Madrid over the coming weeks.
But this report states that he will be allowed to leave at the end of the 2023/24 season to pave the way for a new superstar signing.

And it seems that Mbappe or Haaland are the two men identified by the LaLiga giants to lead them into a new era.
Although, the £650,000-per-week Mbappe will reportedly have to take a significant pay cut to move to the Spanish capital.
The former Monaco ace looks set to add another Ligue 1 title to his collection with PSG poised to retain their crown if they beat Strasbourg on Saturday. More

Fans in stitches at clip of Gary Neville ‘discovering what a holiday is’ as Man Utd icon calls breaks ‘mini-retirements’

FOOTBALL fans have been left in stitches at a clip of Gary Neville “discovering what a holiday is.”That’s after the Manchester United icon referred to taking breaks as “mini-retirements.”
Gary Neville cracked fans up as he referred to taking a holiday as a ‘mini-retirement’Credit: https://twitter.com/bkelly776/
Neville, 48, won eight Premier League titles during a 19-year career at Old Trafford.
And his work-rate was never in doubt, with the right-back famed for his tenacity on the pitch.
Indeed, Neville has taken that same mentality to post-playing life after becoming one of the nation’s most popular pundits.
But he may have gone too far with things after appearing to not know what a holiday is.

Neville sparked mass laughter as he explained how he recharges his batteries every six weeks with a weekend break.
He prefers having these regular “mini-retirements” instead of taking himself away for months on end.
And fans could not help chuckling as they pointed out to Neville that what he was describing was a holiday, with some wondering what pal Jamie Carragher would have to say.
Neville told the Diary of a CEO podcast: “What you can have is a mini-retirement during the year, and that’s what I’ve tried to do.

“I don’t do it very well, so for instance this weekend I’m going to Spain on Friday until Monday morning.
    “I call that a mini-retirement. It’s a weekend, it’s a mini-retirement.
“It’s where I can basically say for three days I’m there and I’m basically taking it, I don’t think about work.
“And I will, sometimes my best ideas come when I’m on these types of trips, but then in six weeks I’ll have another mini-retirement for five days or four days.
“Rather than thinking you’re going to stop for six months and sort of have a sabbatical, that’s not probably going to happen with people like you or I because we just basically don’t work that way.
“So to have lots of mini-retirements during the year is what I’ve tried to do in the last few years.”
Fans certainly found Neville’s comments hilarious, with one saying: “He’s only just discovering what a holiday is.”
Another declared: “Haha why is he calling it mini-retirements?”

One noted: “Hope that Carragher is on to him for this.”
Another added: “I’m looking forward to my mini retirement on Friday and then back to work Monday.” More

But the two parties have been unable to agree on a wage, with Mount reportedly looking for £250,000-a-week like pal Reece James.
Chelsea are hoping to bank £85m for Mount, who has been at the club since 2005 after coming through their Cobham academy.
He has 33 goals in 195 games for the Blues since his 2019 debut.
And Mount established himself as a key player under multiple managers like Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter.
Incoming Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino has told Todd Boehly he ideally wants Mount in his squad next season.
But Chelsea are unwilling to keep hold of players who are out of contract the following summer.
And if Mount is unable to strike terms late on, Boehly will look to cash in.
He isn’t the only ace whose deal is up in 2024.
