And Sanchez is keen on a third club in England after stints at Arsenal and Manchester United.
Sanchez can stay with his French side — but the feelers are out to Prem sides.
The ex-Udinese and Barcelona star was a huge hit at Arsenal from 2014-18, twice winning the FA Cup.
But he flopped after moving to Old Trafford, heading off to Inter Milan, first on loan and then permanently.

And he’s nearing the end of his first season in Ligue 1, with Marseille likely to remain in third place.
It’s been claimed in Chile that the Gunners are considering an offer.
But the 153-cap ace has never looked the same player he was at the Emirates since his unwanted exit five years ago.
Some supporters, however, have called for his return.

But many were angry at his departure to big rivals United for around £391,000 a week plus bonuses.
Sanchez has revealed he was instead poised to join Manchester City.
But an Etihad player set to switch the other way to the Emirates declined the move.
Sanchez has previously said: “Everything was ready, there was a player who was going to go to Arsenal.
“Then [Arsene] Wenger tells me you are not leaving because the other player did not want to come and they do not have another.
“Suddenly the cell phone rings. (Jose) Mourinho tells me: ‘Alexis, here is the seven [shirt] available for you.'”
Sanchez added: “That’s when I said to myself, Chilean footballer playing for Manchester United, something that has never happened.” More

Coventry 1 Luton 1 (5-6 pens): Hatters win £170m match in dramatic fashion to reach Premier League for first time ever

LUTON have reached the Premier League for the first time in their history after poor Coventry sub Fankaty Dabo blinked first in a penalty shoot-out.The game had finished 1-1 after Gus Hamer’s second-half equaliser for the Sky Blues chalked off Jordan Clark’s blast.

Luton thought they had won it when sub Joe Taylor netted with four minutes of extra-time to go but it was ruled out by VAR for handball.
To penalties it went, with the first 11 takers all scoring until luckless Dabo blazed high and wide.
The Hatters have not been in the top flight since 1992 – the year before the Prem was introduced – when they were relegated under David Pleat.
But they hit the jackpot on a scorching hot day at Wembley, taking the £170million prize that comes with triumphing in the Championship play-off final in the most dramatic way possible.

They did it for the most part as well without captain Tom Lockyer, who was carried off on a stretcher inside 12 minutes after collapsing on the pitch in worrying scenes and was sent to hospital.
The Welsh international was thankfully reported to be responsive and talking, and he would have been immensely proud of his team in his absence.
It means the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal will all be heading next term to Kenilworth Road, a ground that was hosting non-league football a decade ago.
The remarkable journey has not come without its setbacks, and they had a deeply concerning one here to contend with when Lockyer stumbled to the turf.

He received on-field medical treatment before he was taken off on a stretcher and given gas and air in the tunnel.
The 28-year-old’s worried parents rushed down to see him in the medical room before he was taken to hospital for more tests, but thankfully was said to be responsive and talking.
Yet Luton impressively kept their composure and deservedly took the lead with 23 minutes played.
The goal itself was a combination of the route-one cliche of lower league football and the high-skill level that it actually often is.
It began with a huge whack up the field from Alfie Doughty but there was nothing rudimentary about what Elijah Adebayo did with the ball when he received it.
The Fulham academy graduate showed some clever footwork to bamboozle Kyle McFadzean before teeing up Clark who smashed home at the near post.
Sky Blues defender Luke McNally summed up his side’s first half when he carelessly passed the ball out of play.
Luton had the ball in the back of the net again with four minutes to the break but again it was chalked off.
Callum Doyle tried to clear when Doughty had seen a shot blocked, but the Coventry defender’s hack away smashed into Adebayo’s hand and went in.
To be fair to Luton’s tricky No11, he instantly fessed up and a free-kick was given.
Coventry had to respond and Robins decided to bring on striker Matty Godden at half-time for Jamie Allen at the break.
The sea of Sky Blue supporters cranked up the noise and they were rewarded with a terrific equaliser on 66 minutes.
A rapid counter-attack saw Viktor Gyokeres set away down the left and the Swede had the presence of mind to cut it back for Hamer, whose first-time strike found the corner.
Suddenly it was Coventry in the ascendancy and Godden, who had brought some much-needed urgency, had his head in his hands after blazing over.
Robins’ men were dealt an injury blow of their own as Hamer was forced off after landing awkwardly following an aerial battle, and full-time blew with the score at 1-1.
Coventry fans breathed a huge sigh of relief nine minutes into the first half of extra-time when Clark went down in the box as keeper Ben Wilson rushed out.
But ref Michael Oliver deemed it a dive and promptly booked Clark, who had taken the armband from stricken Lockyer.
Luton thought they had won it late on when Jonathan Panzo’s horror mistake let in Taylor, who found the back of the net.

But VAR correctly spotted Taylor had handled in the build-up and it was chalked off, sparking a huge roar from the blue half of Wembley.
To spot-kicks it went, and every single taker was clinical until poor Dabo, the 12th taker with Luton leading 6-5, missed the target by some way. More

The Blues have been through three managers with Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter both being sacked, while Frank Lampard is set to leave at the end of the season.
While performances on the pitch have been a shambles, The Telegraph suggests it has not been much better off it.
The report suggests that at least one player missed the team bus after oversleeping during a post-training nap.
It also claims that at least six players have made it clear they want to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

It is also reported that others have even stopped bothering to do their laces for training.
It is thought that this is down to the ability to go unnoticed due to the swollen nature of the squad.
The number of players have also caused other issues with some having to sit on the floor during team meetings and get changed in the corridor.
While the response from the squad to a player being late for the team bus has been suggested as a shake of the head or a smirk.

It has been repeatedly reported that club legend Lampard has spoken to the players in individual meetings about raising the standards, however, he has not managed to get through to them.
It could not have been a worse debut year for new owner Todd Boehly.
The American businessman is set to take a further step back from running the club and relinquish control to appointed executives.
In January, he stepped down as the interim sporting director with the aim of slowly relinquishing responsibility to executives that were bedding in.

The 49-year-old helped the club to an unprecedented spend on the transfer market as stars such as Enzo Fernandez, Wesley Fofana, Mykhaylo Mudryk, Marc Cucurella and Raheem Sterling arrived.
Despite spending upwards of £600m, it could not help push the club back up the Premier League table, with a bottom-half finish confirmed.
It will be the club’s worst finish in the league since their 14th-place in 1993-94 regardless of what happens in their final game against Newcastle on Sunday.
Chelsea also exited both domestic cup competitions to Manchester City before being dumped out of the Champions League by Real Madrid.

The Blues have also frozen their men’s season ticket prices for a 12th straight year, with the announcement accompanied by a statement acknowledging the season’s disappointment.
It read: “This season has not produced the results that any of us want. We know what we are working towards, but equally we know that will require hard work, determination and commitment.

Scholes thinks that Chelsea need to sign an entirely new backline as well as a goalkeeper and a forward.
The Blues’ defence have leaked 46 goals in the Premier League this season, 13 more than they allowed last term.
This is despite the arrival of big-money signings such as Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella and Benoit Badiashile.
While goalkeepers Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy have both struggled to show their best form.

Due to their drop in performances, the pair have both been linked with exits from the club.
Scholes told Premier League Productions: “I think he [Pochettino] is going to have to buy a couple of centre-halves, possibly a right-back, possibly a left-back, a whole new back four.
“I’m not sure about either goalkeeper.
“But I think going forward, I always look at a team and I’m excited when they create chances.

“I think adding a centre-forward to that, they’re always going to create chances and if you’ve got a team who can score goals, you’ve always got a chance.”
Pochettino is expected to be named the new Chelsea manager at the end of the season, with him taking over the role from interim boss Frank Lampard.
The Argentine will also have to sort out the club’s failing attack, which has only produced 37 goals in 37 league games this season.
That record is 39 less than they managed to notch during the 38 league games last season.
Chelsea have been linked with attackers such as Napoli star Victor Osimhen in order to add more firepower to the attack. More

Petit moved to Chelsea despite two calls from Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger urging him to return to Arsenal.
The midfielder blames his decision on his then-wife wanting to live in London and not Manchester.
And having picked up no silverware in his one season with Barca, he had equally-mixed fortunes at Chelsea before retiring in 2004.
Petit famously helped Arsenal win the Premier League and FA Cup double in 1997-98 then moved to the Nou Camp in 2000.

And he explained how a year later he was once more a wanted man in England.
Petit, 52, told FourFourTwo. “Arsenal approached me but so did Manchester United.
“I spoke to Arsene. He really wanted me back, but I was honest with him.
“I said, ‘I appreciate it and it’s very tempting, but I didn’t feel that you wanted me to stay when I signed for Barcelona a year ago’.

“It’s like divorcing somebody. When you don’t feel desired by them, what’s the point of going back?
“I should have gone to Manchester United, because Sir Alex Ferguson called me twice.
“We had a very good conversation and it was tempting, but once again I listened to my wife.
“She wanted to go back to London – she didn’t want to live in Manchester – so I made the same mistake twice in one year.”

But according to the Independent, the Blues are demanding a staggering £55million for the academy graduate.
And the report insists the Old Trafford side are not even close to matching that sky-high valuation – especially amid uncertainty over the club’s ownership and transfer budget.
Erik ten Hag is prioritising a new striker and a centre-back when the transfer window reopens.
Liverpool and Arsenal have also shown interest in Mount.

But it is understood the 36-cap England ace would favour a move to United, where he would link up with a host of Three Lions team-mates.
And the report adds that if a transfer fee can be agreed on with Chelsea, United would be in pole position and expected to complete the signing of Mount.
That could even see the former Derby loanee link up with best pal Declan Rice again, although the West Ham captain is more likely to join Arsenal.
