The Sky Sports pundit believes the Americans have handled the bidding war so poorly he is now feeling “bored”.
The former right-back hinted he wished they were more like Reynolds and McElhenney, who always “turn up” for League Two newbies Wrexham.
That is despite the fact the Welsh outfit still has a long way to go to make it to the big leagues after returning to the EFL only a month ago.
Neville said: “Everyone’s bored now. Honestly, I think everyone has got the point whereby what the Glazers do, they erode every little last bit of energy out of everything that they do.

The United hero added: “They turn up there [Reynolds and McElhenney].
“They’ve done it well at Wrexham and they’ve got obviously a long way to go to get to probably where they want to be, Championship, Premier League, and probably that might take three years, eight years, 12 years, who knows.”
However, Neville’s frustrations may soon come to an end as Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani appears to have won the takeover race.
Sheikh Jassim has been vying with Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos to buy United from the Glazers.

Ratcliffe had been the front-runner to purchase a 60 per cent stake, which would have seen the Americans stay on in a reduced role at Old Trafford.
But according to newspaper Al-Watan, which is owned by Sheikh Jassim’s father, the Qatari bid for the Red Devils has been successful and an official announcement is imminent.
The Qatari banker’s latest offer for a 100 per cent stake in the club is thought to be worth around £5billion. More

Ramsey is understood to have triggered another 12 months on his contract in France after playing more than 30 league games.
But Ramsey, preparing for Friday’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Armenia, said: “I’m not sure what my future is at the moment.
“But the most important thing for me is to focus on these games. We will find out in a few weeks’ time when everything has settled down. My full focus is on Friday.”
It is believed Ramsey is open to staying in France if he receives a long contract offer from Nice which would allow him to move his family to the Cote d’Azur.

If that does not materialise then it could pave the way for Cardiff to snap up the ex-Arsenal and Juventus ace.
Bluebirds chairman Mehmet Dalman told supporters to expect an “exciting” signing this summer which has raised hopes.
Ramsey added: “There’s always rumours and things like that flying around, isn’t there?
“There is always that bit of noise. Friday is all that is on my mind at the moment.”

His wife Colleen and their three children have remained in Wales since he moved from Juve to Rangers in January 2022.
Ramsey said: “This season has been a success for me. I’ve played a lot of games, played good football and the only thing missing has been a few goals but that will come again.
“The most challenging thing is being away from my family so that’s the situation I find myself in. But, other than that, there’s been a lot of positives so we will see.
“Being away from my family and seeing my kids grow up and missing out on certain things, it’s always difficult. It’s difficult for anyone to go through I’d imagine. So whatever we do going forward we will be reunited and back together.”
Ramsey has missed Nice’s last four games of the season with a calf injury.
But Ramsey, speaking from Wales’ warm weather training camp in Portugal, says he is fit and available for the visit of Armenia followed by the trip to Turkey next Monday.
Ramsey said: “I’m feeling good. I have missed a few games but previous to that I had a good run of games. I got myself into good shape. I’m raring to go. It’s a massive camp for us.”

The Ivory Coast international will be free to leave Crystal Palace when his contract expires in two weeks.
According to The Daily Mail, his preference would be to join PSG who plan to target the winger if their move for Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram falls through.
PSG were looking at Thuram, 25, in the wake of Lionel Messi leaving the club and the potential sale of Neymar.
The Paris club were hoping that bringing in a number nine like Thuram would enable them to get the best out of Kylian Mbappe who prefers to operate off the left.

However they were yesterday rocked by the news that Mbappe will not renew his contract – and may be forced to sell the French forward this summer.
Zaha is also attracting interest from Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid and it is believed their Champions League status means he would favour Atletico over a Saudi payday.
This is despite the offer being made by Al Nassr being described as “generational wealth”.
Palace have not given up hope that their talisman will extend his stay at Selhurst Park however and have tabled a four year contract offer of £200,000-per-week.

The attacker has until the end of June to accept the offer before formally leaving the club as a free agent.

However if an elite European club makes a concrete offer he would accept an inferior wage to secure the move. More

Erling Haaland looks worse for wear as he and stunning Wag leave Manchester apartment after boozy Treble celebrations

ERLING HAALAND looked more than a little hazy as he and his girlfriend Isabel Johansen were spotted leaving their Manchester apartment with a suitcase this afternoon.Manchester City’s stars went from Istanbul to Manchester to Ibiza and back to Manchester in the space of 48 hours since Pep Guardiola’s men beat Inter Milan to win the Champions League on Saturday.

They then took to the streets of the city last night for a bus parade in front of thousands of supporters to show off the trophy alongside their Premier League and FA Cup crowns.
The parade had been delayed by an hour due to torrential rain and lightning.
But that did not dampen the mood of the players, staff or crowd as they soaked in achieving a historic Treble.
Team-mate Jack Grealish stole the show as he admitted that he had not slept since the win over Inter.
    READ MORE ON MAN CITY
He guzzled Champagne in front of adoring fans, played blaring music from a set of speakers and sung a song in honour of Bernardo Silva – who he also jokingly said looks “homeless” – and revved up the crowd while wearing a high-vis jacket.
And once he eventually made his way onto the stage following the open-top bus parade, he did not let people down during an interview with Natalie Pike as he said: “Basically, for the past 24 hours I’ve had the best day and night… to be fair, I don’t think I’ve slept.”
The Treble binge then entered its fourth day as the City stars hit a nightclub, with Grealish then taking a selfie with Haaland as the sun began to rise, while the Norwegian could also be seen puffing on a cigar.
Haaland was earlier recorded tipping champers on his pal Grealish’s head.

But the 52-goal top goalscorer was back up and at it this afternoon after his heavy night as he was spotted leaving his apartment with his other half.
The former Dortmund ace must have been feeling a little worse for wear after the epic celebrations as he carried a suitcase out of his luxury pad.
The hotshot was decked out in a tracksuit and trainers and he also had a spare pair of Nike trainers in his hand as they left.
Isabel, who had matching shoes, was wearing a grey tracksuit as they seemed to be heading out of town.
It remains unknown whether Haaland and his Wag are heading for a short holiday or not, but he is due to be reporting for international duty.
Norway face Scotland at home on Saturday in a crunch Euro qualifier before they then take on Cyprus next week.
And that should allow plenty of time for the striker to shake off the cobwebs from City’s huge bender.

Haaland and Isabel are rarely spotted together – but there’s a good reason for that… she’s a footballer herself.
That’s how the lovebirds met after Haaland joined local team Bryne when he was just five years old.
He would go on to spend over a decade at the Norwegian side before being snapped up Molde.
Leeds-born Haaland went on to sign for RB Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund and Man City after an explosive start to life in the senior game.

But it was at Bryne that Haaland met Isabel – who also works part-time at a fashion store.
The pair grew up together at the club’s academy and it’s believed they began dating during his time at Dortmund.
