Kylian Mbappe ‘sets out condition to make Real Madrid transfer NOW after leaving PSG bosses outraged’

KYLIAN MBAPPE has set out his condition to sign for Real Madrid this summer. The French forward’s transfer stance is understood to have left Paris Saint-Germain bosses outraged.

Mbappe caused a stir earlier this month by confirming he will not be extending his contract beyond next summer.
The revelation has left PSG facing the prospect of losing him for free in 2024 if they do not sell him during the current transfer window.
Real Madrid have been heavily linked with making a move for Mbappe after failing with an approach last year.
According to Marca, Mbappe has laid out his condition for making the move now.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
The report claims that he will only accept a move if he does not lose out on any money.
His remaining 12 months on his PSG deal consists of £51million and a £77million loyalty bonus.
However, he would miss out on the bonus if he were to be sold this summer.
Neither Mbappe or his mum and agent Faiza Lamary are willing to lose out on that money.

Mbappe had instead planned to sign a pre-contract agreement with Real Madrid in January before joining the club when his contract expires.
That would allow him to receive both his remaining wages and bonus, as well as a signing on fee from the Spanish giants thought to be worth between £86million and 108million.
Lamary has already had assurances that Los Blancos will offer the same package as they did a year ago.

PSG’s asking price has also caused an issue with the deal, with the French champions needing to lower the fee in order to compensate Mbappe for forgoing his loyalty bonus.
However, according to Marca’s report, PSG still want £170million for the 24-year-old, who has been handed an “ultimatum” by the club.
Mbappe has been told he will be put up for sale this summer if he does not reconsider his contract stance. More

Man Utd transfer chief ‘fuming with Chelsea over Mason Mount talks’ as Todd Boehly names price for England star

MANCHESTER UNITED’S transfer chief is reportedly fuming with Chelsea over the Mason Mount transfer saga. The Red Devils are keen to land the midfielder, 24, this summer as he enters the final 12 months of his Blues contract and has refused all extension offers.
Mason Mount’s transfer saga to Manchester United continues to rumble onCredit: Getty
But their three bids so far – for £40million, £50m and £55m – have all been rejected by the Stamford Bridge club.
And now the Manchester Evening News report that United’s football director John Murtough is growing increasingly frustrated with Chelsea.
He is said to be annoyed and taken a dim view of their policy to communicate the United bids through to the media.
To make matters worse, Todd Boehly continues to hold out for a whopping £65m for the 36-cap England international.
    READ MORE ON MAN UTD
The Chelsea owner would likely accept £58m with £7m in add-ons, too.
However, United may struggle to meet that fee with the MEN adding that Murtough’s “hands are tied” due to the financial state of the Old Trafford side.
The Red Devils do not think Mount is worth as much as Chelsea are demanding, especially given his desire to leave and short contract length.
And United know they cannot overspend – because their priority remains landing a new central striker.

It is thought if the Mount negotiations fail with Chelsea to develop – personal terms have already been agreed – then Erik ten Hag has four possible alternatives to the midfielder lined up, although Mount is the favourite.
Ten Hag even held video calls with some transfer targets to discuss possible moves.
Declan Rice has previously been linked with Old Trafford.
But the West Ham skipper looks on course to join either Manchester City or Arsenal.
Adrien Rabiot, meanwhile, may opt to extend his contract at Juventus, with his current deal expiring on Friday.
Moises Caicedo of Brighton is another option – but he would not be cheap with the Seagulls rejecting an offer of £75m from Arsenal in January. More

I’m a Stoke legend – here are the two simple tricks we used to intimidate Arsenal in the tunnel before matches

STOKE CITY were once Arsenal’s bogey team – but they used to get under the skin of their Prem rivals before they even took to the pitch. The Potters gave the Premier League giants a torrid tussle each and every time they welcomed them to Britannia Stadium.

Ex-Potter Rory Delap has revealed they used to get under the skin of the Gunners by standing tall and stamping their feet in the dressing roomCredit: AFP
Former Stoke gaffer Tony Pulis guided his old side to three of their six wins over the Gunners during their ten-year stint in the Prem.
Arsenal were often accused of failing to turn up for their trips to Staffordshire – with some critics going as far as to say they were intimidated before they took to the pitch.
The retired Rory Delap was part of several Stoke sides who were victorious in the tempestuous and tasty matches.
And he’s revealed they were instructed to rile up Arsene Wenger’s troops by standing tall and stamping on their studs before they walked out of the tunnel.

The 46-year-old told The Sport Bible: “I think the thing was during that period they had such good players.
“But they probably didn’t have characters like your Tony Adams, Steve Bould, Patrick Vieira and Dennis Bergkamp.
“I think in that period, they had really good players so when you played Arsenal at the Emirates, it was a completely different game.
“It was when they played at Stoke, we made no bones about it, we had to make the best of what we had.

“I could remember the manager said, ‘When you’re in the tunnel, stamp your studs and stand on your tiptoes.’
“At that stage, we had players like Rob Huth, Ryan Shawcross, myself, Glen Whelan and Mama Sidibe, so we were a big side and it was intimidating.”
Delap – who retired from footie in 2013 – admits he himself would’ve been rattled by his former team-mates’ pre-match tunnel tactics.
He said: “It’s intimidating when you come down the tunnel and you see lads a couple of inches taller than you.
“It has to be, you know what I mean?”
Gunners legend Arsene Wenger often left the Britannia with a headacheCredit: ACTION IMAGES
Gunners icon Wenger wasn’t afraid to voice his fury at perceived wrongs when his troops came up short at the Britannia.
The Frenchman also wasn’t shy to voice his displeasure with the Potters before their clashes.
And one pre-match complaint lives long in the memory of Delap.

He recalled: “I think Wenger moaned about the length of the grass before a game once.
“And we’d heard about this and we thought before the game ‘We’ve got them already.'” More

Holding has seen dozens of players come and go during his time in North London, but two stars particularly stood out to him.
When questioned about the most talented player he’s played alongside, the centre-back revealed that Ozil and Mkhitaryan were “frightening” to face in training.
When speaking on the Jaxxon Podcast, he said: “A lot of Arsenal players have always said Santi Cazorla (is the best) because with both feet, technically he’s so clean.

“I agree completely and I think he was great, but Mesut Ozil just used to do these magic things and you’d see these little glimpses in training.

“They just completely ran it around us, just passing to each other, barely using anyone else. It was frightening.

Ex-Premier League star who went from millions to Universal Credit & bankruptcy wins row over house ownership

A FOOTBALL star who went from earning millions to going bankrupt and claiming benefits has won a court battle over a home.Ex-Premier League striker Marcus Bent has fought off bankruptcy trustees who tried for four years to seize a London property.
Ex-Premier League footballer Marcus Bent has been battling bankruptcy officialsCredit: Simon Jones – The Sun
They said the former striker – who played for top-flight sides Everton, Brentford, Crystal Palace and Wolves – owned the house and should hand it over to help pay off debts.
Yet 45-year-old Bent, who went bankrupt in January 2019, insisted it belonged to his 19-year-old daughter.
He bought it for her in 2006 and meant it to be held in trust for her until she turned 18, he told London’s specialist Insolvency and Companies Court.
Now judge Clive Jones has ruled in his favour, London’s Evening Standard newspaper reported.
    Read More On Premier League
He said Bent’s estimated debt following bankrutpcy proceedings brought by tax officials was “a couple of million”.
But Mr Jones said the house “fell outside the bankruptcy estate” and that trustees administering the estate, had “no interest” in it.
Former England Under-21 international Bent, watching via videolink, told the judge after hearing the verdict: “We are very happy.”
His daughter is from a former relationship with ex-fiancee Kelly Clark which ended in 2006, the same year he got together with Hollyoaks actress and future Strictly Come Dancing star Gemma Atkinson.
    Most read in Football
After they too split he later dated model and Celebrity Big Brother contestant Danielle Lloyd.
Bent earned up to £20,000 a week during his football career but endured a miserable fall from grace after retiring.
He turned to drugs and alcohol and also found himself with a criminal record after a police raid which saw him Tasered.
And despite earning an estimated £10m during his playing days, he struggled with his finances – culminating in bankruptcy in 2019.
He later told of being forced to claim Universal Credit benefits.
Bent, born in Hammersmith in west London, was banned from the roads for 32 months in March last year after being found four times over the drink-drive limit.
He pleaded guilty to driving his grey BMW X5 three-litre diesel on the A3 at Tibbet’s Corner in south-west London on February 27 last year.
Magistrates in Wimbledon rejected his excuse he had only had two glasses of wine the night before, describing his reading as one of the highest they had seen.
He was recorded at 134 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, whereas the the legal limit is 35.
Bent’s lawyer Scott Ewing told the court the ex-footballer was “remorseful” while outlining his financial woes.
Mr Ewing said: “He is not working at the moment, but does some football match commentary and recently was on Universal Credit.
“He has no income, save for a £20,000 return on an investment, and says he had depression that led to drug and alcohol issues in the past.”
Mr Ewing also described football as a “comfort blanket” for Bent, who struggled to cope after retiring and “went from having a high-profile, successful career to nothing”.
The lawyer added: “Unfortunately sycophants and leeches provided unregulated investment advice.
“He has now hit rock bottom, from where he’s looking up and there’s only one direction to go and that’s to give advice to others so they don’t fall into the same traps.
“It is a pity it has taken something like this for Mr Bent to get the assistance he needs.”
Bent had appeared in the same courthouse in 2016, being fined £385 for possessing cocaine at Chessington World of Adventures.
Earlier that year he received a suspended prison sentence for possessing cocaine and affray, after being Tasered by police arresting him at his home in Esher, Surrey.
His affray trial heard how he was high on cocaine when he ran at officers while wielding a meat cleaver and a kitchen knife.
He later insisted: “At no point was I ever going to take someone’s life. I called them because I was hallucinating, paranoid, terrified.”

But he revealed it prompted him to go into rehab, including a spell helped by former England and Arsenal captain Tony Adams’ Sporting Chance clinic.
Bent’s other clubs during a 573-game, 113-goal career included Sheffield United – also now in the Premier League – as well as current Championship sides Birmingham City, Blackburn Rovers, Ipswich Town, Leicester City, Middlesbrough and Queens Park Rangers.
