Spurs are by no means desperate to sell him as he is a model pro but would be open to letting him go next month.
A number of clubs have been weighing up a move – with Spanish giants Atletico among them.
Though SunSport understands there has been no contact yet between the two clubs.
Hojbjerg, 27, has racked up 145 appearances for Spurs since arriving from Southampton for £15million in 2020.

He was a favourite of pragmatic bosses Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte.
Yet it is questionable if he would start in the attack-minded Postecoglou’s side, which has just been bolstered by the arrival of James Maddison for £40m plus add-ons.
Spurs, who have already added goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario for £16m from Empoli, are looking at strengthening at centre-back now.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Edmond Tapsoba, Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo and Wolfsburg’s Micky van de Ven – dubbed the quickest central defender in the Bundesliga – are all on their radar.

He scored the goal that kept the Toffees up against Coventry to relegate Bolton instead – a club he joined a year later.
Farrelly, 47, became Sam Allardyce’s first signing and he played a big role in their promotion campaign, including scoring in the Championship play-off final against Preston.
But he fell out with Big Sam and loan spells at Rotherham, Burnley and Bradford followed, before a player-manager spell at Bohemians in his native Ireland.
In May 2008 while playing for Cork Farrelly was travelling on the M40 when he became ill and began to vomit blood.

He managed to call an ambulance and was taken to hospital where a lump was found, with a CT scan later discovering an aneurysm of the splenic artery.
Farrelly spent four days in intensive care following surgery which removed the artery as well as 20 per cent of his stomach, 40 per cent of his pancreas, part of his colon and his entire speen.
Reflecting on the scare, the former midfielder told The Guardian: “It’s eight and half years ago and I still think all the time that I am part of the 10% that live.
“I don’t get up, open the curtains and smell the roses every day or anything like that but when you’re having a bad day it is nice to reflect on it.

“My kids were incredibly young and you don’t want to think about what could have happened. I met amazing people from the moment I phoned an ambulance to when I left the hospital to do my rehabilitation. I’m only here because of them.
“It was a horrendous, difficult recovery. I sat there thinking: ‘What if I can never play football again?’ Any player will tell you that they are incredibly resilient in the face of adversity but I had to think about what I was going to do in life if I couldn’t play again.
“I had the management experience at the time but that’s now become even more competitive than before, so I thought about my interest in law.”
Farrelly now works a solicitor for Bermand Law Firm in commercial litigation but revealed he would not work in law if not for his illness.
He attended Edge Hill University after being offered a place after passing a fast-track course, and studied while playing for Morecambe on a non-contract basis, quitting the club in 2010 to attend university full-time. More

However, Wolverhampton Wanderers’ pre-season plans have been axed.
Julen Lopetegui’s squad had been due to travel to South Korea on July 21 but the tour has now been postponed.
The decision has been taken “after weeks of delays by the promoters and tickets not yet on sale for matches”.
As a result, planned friendlies against Celtic and Roma as part of the tour have been nixed.

Wolves are now looking to arrange an alternative “European solution” for their preparations ahead of next season.
General manager for marketing and commercial growth Russell Jones told the club website: “We have been in close dialogue with the tour promoters for the past two months as they sought new investment, following the loss of the original tour investor.
“But unfortunately, and despite numerous promises, they have not delivered.
“We’ve not taken this decision lightly and have explored every avenue thoroughly in an attempt to not let our fans down, including numerous conversations with other local promoters.

“Of course, this decision is a big blow to the club from a commercial perspective, but I am fully aware of the most important reason for pre-season, which is the preparation for another important Premier League campaign.
“Because of this, we have to move on quickly from this disappointment. We have to adapt, and will find a European solution to ensure the best possible preparation.”
The news will come as a disappointment to forward Hwang Hee-Chan, who had said the tour of his home country “means everything to me”.
Wolves are scheduled to begin their Premier League campaign away to Manchester United on August 14.

Roy Keane claims Cristiano Ronaldo WASN’T one of the five world-class players at Man Utd he played with at

ROY KEANE played alongside some of the biggest names in Manchester United’s long and illustrious history  – but only FIVE players were worthy of being called world-class.And club legend Cristiano Ronaldo was NOT one of them.
Roy Keane says Denis Irwin was world class but left Cristiano Ronaldo off his list
The former Red Devils captain, who acrimoniously left the club in 2005 – made the stunning revelation after his old side was held to a 1-1 draw with Arsenal in September 2019.
Keane stunned United fans across the globe by telling left Sky Sports’ Jamie Carragher: “We never gave ourselves an opportunity to talk about players being world-class.
“But if I look back now, you’d have to class Giggsy [Ryan Giggs].
“I always class the world class players as lads who were doing it for nine, ten, 11 years – obviously Giggsy’s done it for a lot longer, but to me, that’s the key to being a really good player – you’ve got to be consistent.

“We see players now, they have a good month and [they’re] patting themselves on the back.
“You have to be good for years and years, and Giggsy would have been a prime example.”

Keane’s world-class list also included fellow United legends, Paul Scholes, Eric Cantona and Mark Hughes the latter of whom he dubbed a “brilliant striker.”
But it was his old friend and former room-mate Denis Irwin who received the most glowing review.
The former Republic of Ireland international said of his countryman: “My God, imagine if Denis Irwin was playing now.
“He could play left-back, right-back, get you a goal, knew how to defend, never injured, a brilliant guy in the dressing room.
“Denis would be world class to me – and he’s a Corkman!”
Keane’s omission of Ronaldo left United fans gobsmacked as the Portuguese superstar was the first Red Devil to win the Ballon d’Or since George Best in 1968.
But the notoriously hard-to-please Irishman’s snub of the six-time Ballon d’Or winner was likely down to the fact they only played together for two seasons, when Ronaldo was still developing.
Keane captained United during a historically successful period for the club and won the Premier League seven times with the club.
He walked out on the club in 2005 after an explosive in-house interview criticising his team-mates’ display after a 4-1 defeat to Middlesbrough. More
