Their report claims that from an £80 shirt, clubs receive a £4.80 licensing fee.
The retailer then gets £26.40 – meaning if the shirt is bought directly from the club, this money goes to them.
Manufacturers, Adidas in Man United and Arsenal’s case, then get £23.47.
Of the rest, £13.33 goes toward VAT, while £1.60 goes to local distribution and £2.40 on marketing.
Each shirt is claimed to cost £8 to make.
Clubs say that it is the manufacturer that sets the exorbitant prices.

Sixteen teams were in the second city with £20,000 on offer to the winners.
Slough Scorpionz saw off Barrowfield Bruisers 2-0 in the final… but then were then shocked to see a team of professionals arrive for a bonus “boss-level” game.
The impressive amateurs were given an opportunity to win a further £8,000… if they could beat the team of ex-pros.
Former Arsenal Invincibles Lauren, William Gallas and Jeremie Aliadiere were in action.

They were joined by fellow ex-Prem stars Paddy Kenny and Clinton Morrison – as well as freestyler Olivia Weedall and Love Island ace Nas Majeed.

The match featured a moment of light-hearted drama.

Erik Ten Hag ‘pushing Man Utd to HIJACK Arsenal’s transfer for £85m Real Madrid star Aurelian Tchouameni’

MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly trying to hijack Arsenal’s £85million move for Real Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni. The Gunners are closing in on the signing of Declan Rice after agreeing a £105million transfer fee with West Ham.

Mikel Arteta also had cause for celebration after completing the signing of Kai Havertz in a £65m deal from Chelsea.
Arsenal have also reportedly agreed a fee of £40m, including £4m in add-ons, for Ajax defender Jurrien Timber.
However, we reported earlier this week how Arteta had added Madrid star Tchouameni to his transfer shortlist.
The Spanish giants signed the 23-year-old French midfielder for £85m from Monaco last season, beating the likes of United and Liverpool to his signature.

But Tchouameni failed to stamp his authority on Carlo Ancelotti’s team last season and is believed to be available for the right price this summer.
Now Nacional have claimed that United have entered the chase to try and sign him again.
They state that boss Erik ten Hag “is pressing” the club to seal a deal for the ace.
However, the Dutchman is working on limited resources.

United hope to wrap-up the arrival of Mason Mount from Chelsea this week after the two clubs agreed a £60m fee.
But that move means the Dutchman will have blown over half of his limited £100m transfer budget, enforced through FFP regulations, as he still searches for a new striker and goalie.
Long-term No.1 David De Gea woke up on his wedding day yesterday UNEMPLOYED after his contract expired at Old Trafford.
He was offered the chance to stay at Old Trafford on massively reduced terms.
However, reports suggested that that £200k-a-week offer was later rescinded by the club, wanting him to instead accept an even bigger cut.
But De Gea has been sensationally asked not to join another club despite his contract being up at United.
And the Red Devils are now effectively asking the player to hang around in case they cannot find a new number one within their transfer budget.
Ten Hag has been chasing Inter Milan’s Onana and have also been keen on Porto’s Costa – but a move for either man is dependent on United being able to raise more funds by offloading some of the 13 players the boss is ready to offload.
Now a fresh link claims that they have made contact over a potential move for Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow. More

Inside new Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino’s gruelling pre-season training camp that left stars ‘broken and in tears’

And new head coach Pochettino, 51, looks set to try and address those fitness issues during his first weeks in charge.
Tottenham ranked second for distance covered during the Argentine’s time in North London.
While Southampton players have told horror stories of their pre-season boot camps.
Now he will attempt to implement similar practises at Stamford Bridge to get his Chelsea players up to speed.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
One of the main ways he plans to do this is through the “Gacon test” – which is described as an “intermittent shuttle run exercise”.
Explaining this technique in his book “Brave New World”, Pochettino said: “To start with, the players have 45 seconds to cover 150 metres, with a 15 seconds rest.
“In each subsequent 45-second rep, they have to run 6.25 metres further, with the intensity steadily increasing.”
Former Southampton striker Rickie Lambert recalled going into Pochettino to ask him to relax his relentless drills during his time at St Mary’s.

He said: “I went out [of the office] and went back to the lads made up, thinking, ‘yep, just done it for you boys, next Monday gonna be sorted’.
“So, I played the game, 90 minutes again, come in Monday, not only did we do 12, we did 24 runs – 24 runs and I just knew, I was running around laughing and almost crying and I knew what he was doing, he was breaking me and he did, he broke me.”
Another ex-Saints man, Kelvin Davies, has also spoken about Poch’s rigorous training.
He told FourFourTwo: “One session went on for an hour and 15 minutes – a continuous half, it didn’t stop.
“I remember Morgan Schneiderlin sitting on the floor next to me after he’d tracked a run, saying, ‘F***ing hell, I think I’m going to die!’ Then he just got up and ran again.”
Pochettino’s Chelsea players can expect similar training routines ahead of their pre-season camp.
They face Wrexham in the Florida Cup in the US later this month, before taking on Borussia Dortmund in Illinois 10 days before their opening Premier League game at home to Liverpool.
Chelsea finished 12th last season, missing out on European football altogether.
It was their worst finish since the 1993/94 campaign when they came 14th under Glenn Hoddle. More

Arsenal legend Merse told Sky Sports in 2020: “It was the year where the FA Cup final was played before the final day of the season, and my brother had a stag the weekend of the FA Cup final, I’d organised it in Orlando.
“We were playing Coventry on the penultimate game week of the season.
“I went to Villa manager John Gregory, asked him if I could go to Orlando after the game and he said: ‘Not a problem, you can go, we haven’t got a game!’
“We came in 2-0 down at half-time at Villa Park. Our season was over anyway.

Brighton line up ambitious loan transfer for Man City Treble winner as they look to increase firepower for Europa League

BRIGHTON are in pole position to take Manchester City’s Cole Palmer on loan.City boss Pep Guardiola is a big fan of Roberto De Zerbi and his exciting Seagulls — and Palmer needs more game-time to continue his development.

The England Under-21’s future is likely to depend on what City decide to do about fellow academy product James McAtee.
Sheffield United want to take midfielder McAtee on loan again after he helped them win promotion to the Premier League.
The signs are Guardiola will not sanction that move so Palmer, 21, would almost certainly be sent out to gain experience.
The versatile midfielder/forward made 14 Premier League appearances for City last season.

But only two of those were starts — and both came after they had already won the title.
Back in March, Palmer addressed his lack of game time and inconsistent form.
He revealed: “The season has been tough, I’m not going to lie.
“When I’ve played this season, I don’t think I’ve played to the ability I could have. I don’t really have any complaints to be honest.
