The former England international has received offers to join former Reds team-mates Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino in the Saudi Pro League.
But, according to BBC Sport, Turkish side Besiktas have approached the midfielder.
The former Gunner-turned-Red has reportedly been offered a lucrative two-year-deal, with the option of a third.
Although he is yet to accept the proposal, he is said to be considering it.

Oxlade-Chamberlain played 146 games and scored 18 goals for Liverpool, after joining from Arsenal for £35m in 2017.
He won the Champions League and Premier League with the Reds and has earned 35 international caps for England, the last of which came in 2019.

But fierce positional competition and various injuries saw Oxlade-Chamberlain become a bit-part player at Liverpool under Klopp.
Since leaving on a free this summer, a move to Istanbul could be on the cards.

He told The Mirror: “I think I need to go and play somewhere as consistently as possible.
“They say you’re coming into your peak at 29, so I want to go and test myself, play consistently somewhere”.
Last season, Besiktas had two English players in their squad.
Dele Alli experienced a short spell on loan from Everton and winger Nathan Redmond, who joined Burnley this summer after his contract in Istanbul expired.
Besiktas have also shown interest in Everton winger Demarai Gray, but the Jamaica international looks to be heading to Fulham. More

The kit department were nearly there but printed “Szosbozlai” on the back of Szoboszlai’s shirt – the right letters but in the wrong order.
Also spotting the mistake was the Hungarian captain’s former team RB Leipzig, who had some words of comfort for the Reds.
The German club tweeted: “You’ll get the hang of spelling Szoboszlai eventually, trust us.”
But some fans on social media weren’t so forgiving.

One tweeted: “The whole club have disrespected him when in reality it was just one person who’s clearly not qualified to be a kit man.”

It was a decent performance from the Hungarian youngster who played 76 minutes.

The midfielder joined the Reds from Leipzig for £60million.

The Blues were keen to bring in additional competition for Kepa after Edouard Mendy left for Saudi side Al-Ahli in June.
Now, according to David Ornstein, a medical is set to take place “imminently” after a deal was reached between the two clubs.
Chelsea will pay an initial £20million fee plus £5m in performance related add-ons.
Blues goalkeeping coach Ben Roberts is a big fan of Sanchez having worked with him at Brighton previously.
    READ MORE ON CHELSEA
Sanchez had established himself firmly as Brighton’s number one goalkeeper under Graham Potter.
But, after the arrival of Roberto De Zerbi, Sanchez found himself falling down the pecking order.
He was replaced as Brighton’s number one by Jason Steele in March.
Brighton have since added Dutch Under-21 goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen this summer from Anderlecht for £16.3 million, forcing Sanchez further down the pecking order.

He was left out of Brighton’s pre-season tour of the US as the club focused on finding a move for the goalkeeper.
Meanwhile Brighton and Chelsea remain locked in talks over the signing of Moises Caicedo.

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is desperate to add quality and experience to his midfield after losing Matteo Kovacic, Mason Mount and Kai Havertz this summer.
Chelsea have so far had two bids rejected for the midfielder this summer – with their latest being £80m.
Brighton are insisting on a £100m fee to make the deal happen.
And Chelsea could miss out with the Seagulls reportedly receiving a bid from another club on Wednesday. More

I’m a Tottenham cult hero but Harry Kane needs to leave this summer… we’re a complete shambles

JAMIE O’HARA urges Harry Kane to leave Spurs this summer, calling his former North London club “a shambles”.Former Spurs midfielder O’Hara slammed Tottenham’s pre-season and said their transfer business has been embarrassing.

O’Hara told Grosvernor Sport: “If I’m Harry Kane, I’m leaving.
“I would have looked at pre-season, where Spurs have only played two games so far and seen that it’s a shambles.
“I’d see that the club haven’t attracted any top-quality players and say, ‘Do you know what? I’m going to go to Bayern Munich’.
“It’s got to the point now where enough is enough – if Spurs aren’t going to compete, then he needs to leave.

“I just think Spurs have fallen away from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United.
“The only saving grace that the club has is that they still have Kane and Heung-min Son.
“But if you look at the rest of the team, it’s no better than West Ham.
“Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and even Aston Villa are all going to be better than them next season.

“They’re attracting top players, but Spurs are not – some of the players that they’ve signed are just embarrassing really.”
O’Hara also doesn’t believe Richarlison would compensate the loss of Kane.
He said: “Richarlison is not the answer.
“As much as I think he can be a good player, he had a bang average season last year– he’s just not the answer.”
He’s not optimistic about seeing a ‘different’ Tottenham this season.
He said: “I’m not looking at it and thinking, ‘they’re going to have an amazing season,’ because they’re not – they’re going to be bang average.
“The wheels have fallen off Tottenham in my opinion.”

Mauricio Pochettino breaks silence on Christopher Nkunku’s injury after hurting knee on ‘risky’ pitch

MAURICIO POCHETTINO hopes Christopher Nkunku’s injury in the 1-1 draw with Broussia Dortmund is “not a big issue”.Chelsea have been hit with an injury scare just ten days before the start of their Premier League campaign when they face Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on August 13.

Nkunku – a £52m summer arrival from RB Leipzig – was forced off after just 20 minutes with a knee injury during the Blues’ final game of their pre-season tour of the United States.
In the draw at the Soldier Field stadium, Nkunku appeared to get his left knee stuck in the turf in a tangle with Mats Hummels.
The pitch was in dreadful condition following several concerts – including Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran – over the past month, but boss Poch refused to blame it for Nkunku’s issue.
Chelsea flew back to London in the early hours of Thursday morning, and Nkunku left the stadium with an ice pack on his knee.

Asked about Nkunku, Poch explained: “The doctors are checking him. Hopefully it is not a big issue. He feels something in his knee.
“Hopefully he can be quick with the team. Now we need a few days to assess him and until we get back to London it is difficult to know.”

On the state of the pitch, Poch added: “Always we take some risks because the pitch is not perfect. That is sometimes the risk of the tour, yes.
“But, we cannot blame the pitch for why he suffered the injury. For me it was bad luck.”
    Most read in Football
Poch returns to the capital unbeaten in five games during a gruelling trip of the States, but remains frustrated at the balance of his squad, as well as a lack of depth in several positions.
Against Dortmund, the Argentine coach played what he has admitted could be the starting XI against Jurgen Klopp’s Reds.
The team included Nkunku, Levi Colwill, Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Thiago Silva, Enzo Fernandez, Conor Gallagher, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson.
Asked if Chelsea are ready for the new season with the squad as it is, Poch said: “It is not an option. There is only one option, to be ready and we are going to be ready.

“Now we need to keep working and evolving our way to play and yes, be ready to start the competition.
“We are going to try to win [the title], that is true. Chelsea’s history is to win. If it’s possible not to, I will tell you at the end of the season.
“But we start in the same place and with the same possibility. The most important thing is to believe in football and we need to really believe. I will believe.”
Full-back James captained the side against Dortmund, despite Brazilian veteran Silva also starting the match.

A club captain is yet to be chosen for the new campaign following Cesar Azpilicueta’s departure this summer.
Poch said: “There’s still ten days [to decide] before the first game. I don’t know if we will change too much but it is one possibility for Reece to be the captain of the team.”

But just five months later, the couple endured a heartbreaking time when Georgina had a miscarriage.
Speaking about the incidents, he told the Player’s Tribune: “There are things that go on in our lives that the public has no idea about, and the past year has been an emotional rollercoaster for me and my family.
“After the high of climbing to the top of the Premier League table and going off to my first World Cup, my wife and I found out that we were expecting our first child.
“Mikel gave me a few extra days off after the World Cup, so we went on a brief holiday. It was genuinely the happiest time of our lives. And yeah… there’s no easy way to say this, but I feel like it’s important that people know.…

“On the flight home, my wife had a miscarriage.
“There’s really no way that I can describe the pain of that six-hour flight back to London, even now. I just want people out there to know that they’re not alone if they’re going through it themselves.
“When we got back, I didn’t tell many people what happened. Only my family, my teammates, and of course Mikel. He was fantastic about everything.
“Even in the middle of the title race, with so much pressure on the club, he asked me if I needed some time off to deal with everything. Mikel went above and beyond to make sure me and my family were OK.

    “For me, that’s a manager.
“We don’t always see eye-to-eye on everything. We have some very florid conversations about football sometimes. But he cares so much about his players, and he forever has my respect for how he handled our grief.”
Just days after Georgina’s miscarriage, Ramsdale was the victim of a shocking incident following Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Spurs.
Immediately after the final whistle, a Tottenham supporter managed to climb onto the advertising hoardings and kick Ramsdale as he went to grab his water bottle from behind the goal.
Ramsdale said: “Three days later, we were playing Spurs in the derby, and for me that was the only way to get my mind off things. Football has always been my escape. I told the manager I wanted to play.
“It couldn’t have been a better night. We won 2–0 under the floodlights, and our away fans were going absolutely ballistic. If you watch the match back, you can see me beaming at the final kick of the ball.

“I went to get my water bottle behind the goal, and never in a million years would I ever think that I’d get kicked in the back by a Tottenham fan.”
He continued: “I’ve had some very spicy banter with fans all over the English leagues. I’ve been called everything you can imagine. But it’s never crossed the line like that.
“I remember when I got back to the dressing room, I couldn’t even celebrate because I got pulled out to give a police statement.
“You know, I almost felt bad for the bloke who had done it, because I thought to myself: If he only knew me as a person, and what I’m actually going through right now, there’s no way that he would’ve done that.
“If we bumped into each other one day and got chatting about football, we’d probably be mates.”
In June, Ramsdale and Georgina announced they were expecting their first child.
Later that month, the Arsenal man tied the knot with the soon-to-be mother of his child.
Ramsdale opened up on a number of issues in his article for the Players’ Tribune.

One of the main takeaways from the piece was the pride he feels for his family – namely his brother Oliver who Ramsdale admires for his bravery as a gay man.

He expects his starting XI for Borussia Dortmund to be the same for Chelsea’s season opener
And Pochettino said after the game that the XI he started with will likely be the one we see in their Premier League opener against Liverpool.
The new Blues boss said: “This was about giving 90 minutes to the team in my head that I plan to play because the season is only 10 days away.”
The majority of the game was deadlocked at 0-0 before Dortmund right-back Marius Wolf opened the scoring in the 80th minute.
Chelsea then netted a last minute equaliser through youngster Mason Burstow.

Chelsea have had two bids rejected for the midfielder, including one of £80million.
Pochettino is desperate to reinforce his midfield options after the club sold Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount and Kai Havertz this summer.
But a youthful midfield that included Conor Gallagher, Enzo Fernandez and Carney Chukwuemeka did impress in Chicago.
Chukwuemeka arrived last summer from Aston Villa for £20m but found appearances limited under Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter and Frank Lampard last season.
Chukwuemeka looks to have the trust of Pochettino, starting in the number 10 role as part of the team that will likely play against Liverpool on Chelsea’s opening day of the season.
The Blues did face an injury scare over new signing Christopher Nkunku, who was forced off the field with a knee injury in the first half.

Trent Alexander-Arnold could be the ultimate CHEAT CODE for Dream Team gaffers this season

ANY Dream Team gaffer worth their salt loves a shortcut. There’s no better feeling than propelling yourself up your Mini League thanks to a lovely loophole.
This season, Trent Alexander-Arnold (£6m) could be that loophole.

Granted, Liverpool’s No66 is hardly an unknown gem who flies under the radar.
Still just 24 years old, Anfield’s homegrown hero has 54 Premier League assists to his name already – team-mate Andy Robertson (£4.5m) is the only defender with more to his name in the competition’s history and the Scotsman is five years his senior.
Although the lines are about to be blurred in that regard.
Alexander-Arnold has played the majority of his minutes in professional football at right-back but he flourished in a midfield role at the back end of last season – the old Joshua Kimmich switcheroo.
Ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, every indication suggests he will continue to get ample opportunities to flex his creative muscles in the middle of the park.
In the realm of Dream Team, however, he has been categorised as a defender once again.
Alexander-Arnold played as a midfielder as a youthCredit: PA
This is an important distinction because defenders earn five points for every clean sheet – as long as they play at least 60 minutes of the fixture – and midfielders do not.
If Alexander-Arnold is to play plenty of minutes in midfield while being categorised as a defender then he will benefit from Liverpool clean sheets while simultaneously helping himself to the points on offer to those in more advanced positions.
He’s essentially two players for the price of one – a cheat code.
This season, players will receive one point for every big chance created (as defined by OPTA), a metric the Reds’ new vice-captain ranks highly for year after year.
In fact, in 2022/23, Kevin De Bruyne (£7m) and Bruno Fernandes (£6.5m) were the only players to register more big chances created in the Premier League.
Surely his impressive playmaking stats will only get better if he’s converted to a genuine midfielder?

Dream Team assets will also earn a point for every two successful tackles this coming season.
While many fans would associate tackles with defenders first and foremost, it’s a statistic historically dominated by combative midfielders.
Add in a point for every shot on target (more likely from midfield than right-back) and the stage is set for Alexander-Arnold to build upon his already majestic Dream Team legacy.
At £6m he’s comes at a cost, no defender will start Gameweek 1 at a higher price, but even so he may offer plenty of value for money.
